After dealing with today's problems, the group decided to head on home...well except Ash and Tyson.
"So where do we go? We don't even live here.",Pikachu said.
"And we don't know any places we can stay for the night." Pichu said.
"Well if you guys don't mind you can crash on the couch at my home if you guys have nowhere to go." Tai suggested.
"Are you serious?"
"Well we can't have our teammates sleeping on the streets." Tai said.
They smiled. "Thanks Tai." As they walked back to his house Tai was explaining what happened when he came here after defeating Etemon.
"So you're sister actually remembers what happened 4 years ago?" Eevee asks
"Yeah she even remembered Koromon." Tai said
"You don't think she could be the 8th child do you?",Pikachu asks.
"If she is should would have to have a Digivice nearby, guess we'll be testing that crest you found earlier than we thought Tyson." Pichu said.
Tyson nodded and they up to where Tai's apartment was located. "I'm home!",he called.
A brown haired woman walks out. "Tai? Shouldn't you be at camp?"
"It got cancelled because of snow." Tai said.
"Snow? The weather is getting so unpredictable these days, and who are these two?" ,She noticed the boys.
"I'm Ash Ketchum and this is my little brother Tyson.",Ash said. Tyson bowed.
"Nice to meet you mam.",he said.
"Ash and Tyson missed the train back home so we were wondering if they could spend the night?" Two asks
"Well as long as you two don't mind sleeping on the couch it should be alright." She then sees Pikachu, Eevee, Pichu and Koromon. "What are those?"
They flinched. "Oh we brought Kari a present.",Tai lied.
"Y-yeah after Tai told us she was sick, we decided to get her these toys to make her feel better.",Ash lied playing along.
"Oh you boys are so sweet." She said when Tai walks over and hugs her. "Tai is everything alright?"
"I-I just missed you so much." Tai said.
"Is something wrong?",A man with a little brunette haired girl asks.
"Dad!",Tai stopped hugging his mother and hugged his dad.
Tai's dad just looked up in surprise and sees Ash and Tyson. "And who are these two?"
"They're our guests." Tai's mom said
"I'm Ash and this is my little brother Tyson." Ash said introducing them.
"Well boys it's nice to see my son was able to make some friends at camp." Tai's dad smiles. After putting their belongings down the boys sighed on the couch.
"Ah. I haven't something this warm in a long time!",Ash sighs.
As they sat down the cat ran out the door as if it was chasing something. "Should we be worried?" Tyson asks.
"No don't worry he always comes back. I'm Kari by the way." She said
Tyson smiles. "I'm Tyson."
Kari looks at Pikachu, Pichu and Eevee. "Wow these look way different from Koromon."
"That's because we're not Digimon.",Eevee said.
Ash gestures for Kari to come closer. "Hey Kari can you keep a secret?"
She nods in excitement. "Truth is, we're not from here.", Ash said.
Her eyes widen. "Wow are you guys aliens?!"
They all laugh. "No we're not aliens Kari we're just people from another world." Ash chuckled.
"Another world?",She asks.
"Yeah were people are but these guys aren't called Digimon, they're Pokemon.",Tyson said.
"Wow." Kari smiled when a bright light came from Tyson's pocket.
"Huh?" He reaches into reveal the crest was glowing.
"Ooh it's pretty. What is it?",She asks.
"Uh it's a very special necklace...Ash can we have a word." Tyson said as they walked away. They were in the halls. "Did you see what I just see?"
"You mean the crest glowing? Oh yeah I saw it.",Ash said.
"Then I guess the 8th Digidestined was Tai's sister all along.",Pikachu said.
"If she is the 8th Digi Destined we have to keep an eye on her." Eevee said
"Wait if she is one she must have a Digivice nearby let's see if the others can find it." Pichu said when Tai's mom walks in.
"Uh Ash a boy named Izzy is on the phone for you.",she said handing him the phone.
He takes it. "Thanks Mrs. Kamiya. Hello?"
"Ash I found the 8th child they're on the move!" Izzy said.
"What?! Are you sure?" Ash asks.
"I've got the signal from the Digivice.",he tells him.
"Alright I'm on my way!",Ash hung up. "Looks like Kari isn't the 8th child after all!
"Then we better go help that kid before Myotismon gets to him." Pikachu said hopping on his shoulder.
"Tyson stay here in case anyone else calls I'll be back soon." Ash said running out the door.
Mrs. Kamiya heard the door close. "Is everything alright?",she saw Ash was not here. "Where's your brother?"
Tyson had to come up with something quick. "Oh uh..he decided to get food for us, he said he'll back soon!"
Outside Izzy was searching for the signal he sees a huge sludge like Digimon heading towards them.
"Did something happen to Ash's Muk?!" Tentomon asks grossed out
"That Digimon is Raremon." Izzy holds up his laptop. "Raremon an undead Digimon who failed trying to reinforce it's body with metal."
He then heard his Digivice beep. "It's the 8th child! He must be around here!"
"Talk about bad timing!", Tentomon said as Raremon approached only to get severely burned.
Izzy turns to see Ash, Pikachu and Cyndaquil running over.
"Sorry wer-What the hell is that?!",Ash exclaimed.
"Oh Arceus he stinks worse than Muk!" Pikachu said holding his nose.
"Ash the 8th child is on the move we gotta hurry!", Izzy said.
"Leave old sewer mouth to me and Cyndaquil! Tentomon Digivolve to Kabuterimon!"
Cyndaquil gulped. "Be a man Cyndaquil!..let's move!",Karbuterimon grabs Cydaquil and they headed towards Raremon.
"Ash this way!" Izzy leads Ash to where the signal was, but DemiDevimon was searching as well. They approached some warehouses to find where the signal was but it seemed to keep moving but then disappeared.
"I don't understand. Where is he going?",The small boy questioned.
"How can someone eve move that fast?" Ash asks.
"Oh great you're here too!" They look up to see DemiDevimon.
"Oh not him again!",Pikachu groans.
"DemiDarts!", he lets out needles.
"Pikachu thunderbolt!",Pikachu zapped the needles, making them explode.
"Grr you kids are nothing but a royal pain!" DemiDevimon growled.
Ash looks up in the air to see a glow and smiles. "You might want to move out of the way."
"Huh?" He turns around and Cyndaquil smashes into him with Flame Wheel.
"Take that you excuse of a bat!",Cyndaquil said.
"Aah! I'm burning! I'm burning!" DemiDevimon yelled in pain as he flew away.
Ash and Izzy laughed.
"Nice shot." Pikachu snickers.
Kabuterimon came towards them. "We better get outta here guys. People are starting to show up!",He pointed to a news copter.
Ash, Pikachu, Cyndaquil and Izzy climb on. "Well this was a bust we didn't find anything." Ash groaned
It's alright, but at least we know what area the child is in we'll tell the others tomorrow." Izzy said They flew off quickly as they could.
Ash and Pikachu arrive back at the Kamiya residence exhausted when Tai runs over. "Hey Ash Tyson woke me up what happened?"
"Went looking for the 8th child all I found was DemiDevimon and a giant walking pile of garbage." Ash groaned.
"Well that sucks.",he said.
Suddenly Tai's Digivice goes off. "Ash the 8th child is passing right by us!" Tai said causing Ash to groan.
"Are you freaking kidding me?!" Ash yells.
Ash goes in the house. "Are you gonna look for him?"
"You can. I'm catching some Z's!",he heads to the couch.
"Well see ya!" Tai runs out the door as Kari looks up.
"Hey look a shooting star!" Kari said.
What she didn't knew it was a crow carrying a beeping Digivice.
As the Digi Destined searched Tokyo they had to check everywhere looking for the 8th child and deal with Myotismon's henchman. After searching all day Ash had decided to get some rest at the park.
"How do you find anyone in this place? It's enormous." Eevee said from Ash's backpack.
"Ow watch the tail!" Pikachu said.
"Keep it down you two." Ash whispers.
From one side of the park Mimi was walking down the street when she sees Ash and smiles. From the other side Sora walks over and spots him, as they both walk to him they both notice the other.
They sent glares at each other and have a spark while glaring at each other.
'Oh no you don't Sora, I saw him first!',Mimi thought.
'Fat chance Mimi, I'm not losing this chance!' Sora thought.
They both looked at each other and in a second they ran at full speed toward Ash.
Ash was about to get up but then heard running. "What the?", he looks to see Sora running to him, but then he heard more and turned to the right to see Mimi heading towards him too.
He looks to see he was in the middle. "Uh what's going on?"
"Hey I was wondering-" Sora started until Mimi pulled her back.
"Hi Ashy I wanted to know if-" Sora pulls Mimi back.
He sweatdropped. "Uh...if I want to what?"
"If you would like to-" Sora pulls Mimi's hair.
"Wanted to hang out-" Mimi whacks her with her bag
"And search the city together!" They both said at the same time.
Ash was tooken back by this. "Oh...uh..well I'm not busy at the moment..so...sure?"
"Great come on we'll search this way." Sora grabbed him and ran off.
"Wait what about Mimi?" Ash said looking back.
"Oh she had to go somewhere else!",she smiles as she and Ash were gone. Mimi growls.
'Oh no way in hell is Sora taking MY boyfriend!',she thought angrily.
Ash and Sora were walking through the city and Sora was holding onto his arm affectionately. Many of the people walking by were in awe at the two.
"Oh how sweet.",A woman said sighing.
"Young love. It's beautiful.",Another woman smiled.
Ash blushed hearing them. "So Ash what do you think of our world?" Sora asks
"Well it's definitely different, but it's interesting it's like I'm on a new journey." Ash smiles and Sora just melts away.
'That smile..why does it take me away?',she thought sighing.
"Sora." He said dreamily in her mind.
"Yes Ash." She sighed
"Sora where should we go to look?" Ash said in his normal voice.
Her dreamed end. "Huh? What?"
"I said where do you wanna go first?",he asks.
"Oh uh." Sora looks around and sees the amusement park nearby getting an idea. "Let's look over there."
"Sure.",he and Sora headed there, but what they didn't know was they were silently followed.
As they entered Sora looked around and fantasized about her and Ash riding the Merry go round, the roller coaster, but what she really wanted was the ferris wheel. She imagined him holding her in his arms and slowly pulling her into a kiss.
'Oh I need to happen so bad!',she thought.
As she walked to get their tickets Ash turned around to get the money when suddenly Sora is grabbed by Mimi and pulled away.
"Hey Ash what are you doing here?" Mimi said pretending
"Oh I was here with So- where is she?" Ash asks looking around.
"Who Sora? She had to go home. Her mom needed her.",She said lying.
"Oh that's a shame." Ash said.
"Well since we're here I can help you search." Mimi said
"Okay sure let me get our tickets." Ash said handing her one.
She smiles and they headed in the fair. From behind the wall Sora was pulling herself out of the ticket booth.
'Oh it's on Mimi!', Sora growled.
Ash and Mimi walked in the fair. She had her arm around him and rested her head on his arm.
"So Mimi what should we do first?" Ash asks.
"Ooh, how about that?",She pointed to the "How tough are you?", game.
"Hmm." Ash walks up to it.
"Well young man want to win your lovely lady a prize?" The booth owner asks.
He blushes. "Uh sure yeah."
The man gave him a mallet. He lifts the hammer up and slams it down causing the lever to go up and rings the bell. "And we have a winner!" The man hands Mimi a teddy bear.
"Woah I never knew I was that strong.",Ash said amazed and then Mimi squeals and hugs him tightly.
"Ash you are the best!" Mimi smiles. 'Take that Sora!'
He blushes and smiles. "Hehe..anything to make you happy."
"Come on let's go to the merry go round!" Mimi said. She takes his hand and takes him to the carousel.
"Alright I'm going to get us some ice cream be right back." Ash walks to the booth as Mimi hugs her teddy bear.
"I'm going to cherish this day forever." Mimi sighed
"Not for long!" she heard from behind her she jumps and sees Sora. "Payback time!" Sora grabs Mimi.
"Eek! Let me go!"
When Ash walked back he saw Sora standing in line. "Sora? I thought you had to help your mom?"
"I did, so I had to come back.",she smiles.
"Oh so where's Mimi?",
"Oh you know Mimi always having to get her hair done."
"Well would you like some ice cream?" Ash asks when Sora accidentally drops her cone.
"Oh no I'm so sorry!" Sora said embarrassed.
"Well if you don't mind we can share my cone?" Ash said and inside Sora was screaming with joy.
"Yes! I mean *clears throat* Sure.",she calmed herself down.
The two of them rode two horses that were next to each other. They laughed while enjoying each others company.
As they shared the ice cream Sora gets some on her nose and Ash chuckles as he wipes it off. She blushed when he touched her.
"So what do you want to do next?" Ash asks.
Sora looks at a photobooth. "Come on let's go over there." She pulls him into the booth.
With Mimi..
She was searching around the park for them holding her bear growling with anger.
"Wait till I get my hands on that boyfriend stealing blue bucket wearing-",She was cut off when she saw them going in a photo booth. "Gotcha!"
"Alright Ash smile!" Sora said.
In one picture Ash and Sora were smiling together.
In the second a hand appears behind Sora.
In the third Sora is being pulled out.
In the fourth Mimi appeared next to Ash
In the fifth Sora tackled Mimi and Ash look in shock. Outside the two wrestling while growling at each other.
"What do you think you're doing stealing MY boyfriend?!",Mimi yelled.
"YOUR boyfriend?! He's MINE!" Sora yelled.
"Says who?! I kissed him first!",the strawberry blonde exclaimed.
"Well he loves me now!",The red head exclaims.
"DO NOT!",Mimi said.
"DO TOO!",Sora argues.
As they wrestle Ash gets in and separates them. "Alright what is going on?!" He yells.
"Ash, tell Sora that you love me right?",Mimi said to him.
"No tell Mimi that you love me!" Sora said to him.
"Uh..well..",he cant say anything.
"Well?!" They both said wanting to hear their answer.
Ash sulks. "I…can't."
"What do you mean you cant?",Sora asks.
"I can't choose. Mimi you're the most sincere and caring person I've ever met and Sora you are so amazing you look out for all of us and I'm sorry but I can't choose between either of you." Ash said.
Both girls were stunned by the words Ash said to them. "And also I don't like seeing you two fight for me, it's just not you.",he finished and walked away.
Sora and Mimi look at each other. "Mimi look at us we're best friends and we almost killed each other over a boy." Sora said ashamed
Mimi looked down in shame. "What is wrong with us? We almost broke up our friendship."
"Can you ever forgive me?" Sora asks.
Mimi smiles. "Only if you forgive me."
The two smile at each other and hug. "But Sora, what do we do? We both like the same guy but I don't keeping for him?",Mimi asks.
"We'll figure something out I promise." Sora said. Mimi nodded and they left the park.
Back with Ash..
Ash was laying down on the couch at Tai's. "What do I do guys?"
"Beats the heck outta me Ash. You got it rough having two girls fight for. That sounds like every guy's dream."Tai said.
"Well to Ash it's a nightmare.",Pikachu said.
Mrs. Kamiya walks in and sees Ash sulking. "Oh what happened Ash?"
"Ash is dealing with some girl trouble." Tyson said
"Alright make room Ash tell me what's wrong." She said sitting down.
He sighs. "Sora and Mimi both have a crush on me and at the amusement park earlier they began fighting over me and now they told me who should I love anf I told them I can't choose and I don't know what to do.",He groans while hat is over his face.
"Wow that's a tough one. Ash you need to think long and hard when you think of happiness what do you think of?" Ash closes his eyes and reflects on his time in the Digital World and sees him with both Sora and Mimi. When they kissed and traveled together and they made him feel warm and fuzzy inside.
"I..I think of them.",he said.
"Then Ash you need to trust your feelings and hope that they will respond to them." Mrs. Kamiya said.
"You Mrs. Kamiya you kinda sound just like how my mom is.",He said to her.
"Mom's are the best at helping kids when they have problems I'm sure your mom would say the same thing." She smiles
"Well I'll be back thank you Mrs. Kamiya." Ash said walking out the door.
"Wow mom, that was deep.",Tai said.
"Thank you. It was just a mother's intuitionn" She said.
Outside at the park Mimi and Sora were sitting down and sulking.
"You know after all that..I don't think Ash would like us.",Sora sighs.
"I wouldn't blame him." Mimi sighs. "Here this might make you feel better." She hands Sora her bear and she pulls it into a hug.
"I just hope he dosen't hate us.",Sora said sadly.
"I don't hate you girls." They look to see Ash walking over.
"Ash? H-how much did you hear?",They asks.
"All of it." Ash sits down next to them.
"Ash we're sorry." Mimi said.
"We were being idiots about this whole fight which was so stupid to begin with.",Sora said.
"If you don't want either of us we understand.", Mimi said.
"Well I actually have made my choice girls I love you both so much and I want to give us a chance if you're willing to as well." Ash said.
"What do you mean Ash?" Sora asks.
"If you both are open to it I want to date you both." Ash said.
Both of their eyes widen. "What?! Are you serious?!"
"Yeah, I really am. So are you?",he asks.
They look at each other and then to Ash. "Alright Ash we'll give it a try."
He smiles. "Great."
The girls pull him into a group hug. He blushes and hugs them back.
'Wow..his arms feel so strong comforting..I can get used to this.',Sora thought with a sigh.
'So warm and cozy..I never want to be apart from this.',Mimi thought with a sigh.
"I love you girls.",Ash said but didn't get an answer. "Girls?",he asks. He sees Sora and Mimi asleep on his chest. He smiles softly and kisses their forheads. "Sweet dreams you two.'
Both of the girls smiled in their sleep. The day had started as a disaster date, but has changed into the happiest day of their lives.
A few days after Ash had asked Sora and Mimi to be his girlfriends and so far they had searched the whole city with no luck at finding the 8th child. As the Ketchum brothers walked back they were sulking.
"We spent days searching this town and nothing!", Tyson groaned,
"I think that crest of yours is busted." Pichu said.
"This whole city is a like maze, no matter where you go you'll end up in a dead end! And that's what happening to us right now.",Ash groans.
"The only clue we have is that the crest glows around Kari but we haven't found that stinkin' Digivice!",Pikachu mutters.
Suddenly they heard rustling in the trees.
"Tyson shh." Ash indicated for them to move slowly as they made their way into the park they see DemiDevimon talking to a Digimon that resembled a spell caster.
"What are ya doing eating on the job?! You should be lookin' for the 8th child like the others are!",DemiDevimon said.
"Please don't tell Lord Myotismon. I'll give you the bottle if you don't tell him.",The spell caster held up a bottle.
Both their eyes narrow as DemiDevimon flew off.
"I would never hand this over to the likes of him." He said looking at something in his hands.
"Maybe you'd be interested in sharing with us." He looks around only to be tied up by Ivysaur and Bayleef and brought down to them.
He groans as he was brought to the ground. He lookd up to see Ash and Tyson looking at him. He gasps. "It's you the leader of the Digi Destined!"
"That's right now who are you and what are you hiding from DemiDevimon?" Ash asks
"My name is Wizardmon I was hiding it from him because I intend to find the 8th child and give it to them."
"Oh yeah like we haven't heard that before." Tyson said
"Show us what you were hiding." Ash demanded as Ivysaur and Bayleef loosens the vines around his hand to reveal a Digivice.
"The 8th Digivice!",Pikachu gasped. "Where did you find it?!"
"Inside that tree, I didn't want DemiDevimon to have it because he'd take all the credit.",Wizardmon explains.
"Well now you're going to hand it over to us." Ash said in a serious tone.
"Those eyes they're...just like Red's." Wizardmon said shocking Ash.
"You know my dad?!",He exclaimed.
"Yes I do for until you came along he was the only one holding back Myotismon from taking over. But please the 8th Digi Destined is in danger I must get this to them." Wizardmon said.
"But we don't even know who the kid is." Pichu said.
"Yes you do because Gatomon has already met the child and formed a bond." WIzardmon explained.
"Gatomon?!",Pikachu gasped.
"How do we know this isn't a trick?" Tyson said
"Then you may strike me down right here, will you hear me out?"
Ash and Tyson looked at each other and their Pokemon and nodded. "Fine,but you better not be lying."
Wizardmon holds out the Digivice. "If yours is the Crest of Aura you will instantly know the truth."
Ash slowly reaches out to touch it and when he does his eyes flashed. He sees the Digivice originally at Tai's place then their cat accidentally knocks it off the balcony and chases after it, there the cat was chased Raremon, but when it sees a dog it drops the Digivice and a crow swoops in and takes it to the point where Wizardmon found it and presented it to them.
"It's..It was Kari..",He gasps.
"Kari?!" All the Pokemon said in shock.
"So the crest was right Kari is the 8th Digi Destined!" Tyson said pulling it out.
Wizardmon's eyes widen. "The crest?! Where did you get it?! I thought Myotismon had it!"
Ash pauses to think. "Tyson can I see that?" Tyson hands the crest to him and Ash's eyes glow again. This time he sees Myotimson standing by the river after he sent out his forces. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the crest he held.
"Without this the Digi Destined will never succeed." Myotismon tosses it into the river and as he watches it sink he bursts into laughter. "Once I kill the 8th child that thing will be worthless."
His eyes then returned to normal and lets go of the tag. "I see. He got rid of it."
"That explains a lot why he made these copies for us to find the 8th child. We have to get to her and Gatomon at once." Wizardmon said.
Ash nods as the grass types release him from Vine Whip. "But here's on thing I don't get why Gatomon as well?"
"Because she's Kari's Digimon." Wizardmon said surprising them.
"No, way.",Pikachu said shaking his head. "I don't believe it."
"And why should we believe you?", Tyson asks.
"Because I'm your only chance." Wizardmon said.
"Take us to Gatomon first then we'll take you to Kari." Ash said.
Gatomon was looking through a pair pf binoculars while she stares at Kari from inside. "I just don't understand. I could've struck her down when I had the chance but something was stopping me from doing so...so why didn't I?",she asks herself.
"Stuck in a train of thought?",She heard Wizardmon who floated down to her.
"I believe I know the reason is deep within your heart and it revolves around the 8th child, but if you know the truth their is someone you must convince first." Wizardmon said.
"And just who is that?" Gatomon asks when Pikachu jumps up in front of her. "You!" Gatomon readies her claws.
"Long time no see pussycat.",he said.
As Gatomon was about to charge Wizardmon gets in between them. "Gatomon stop!"
"Why have you brought that rat here Wizardmon?!",she demanded.
"Go choke on a hairball." Pikachu glared causing Gatomon to growl.
"Because he and his partner have agreed to help me, but you have to prove something to them." Wizardmon said as Ash and Tyson appeared.
"Prove what to them? They're they enemy!"
"If what Wizardmon says is true then the real enemy is Myotismon." Tyson said.
"Gatomon when you first saved my life and before all of this you told me you were searching everywhere for someone but could not remember who Gatomon they know who that person is and so do you." Wizardmon said.
"And how would they know?" Gatomon asks
"Because you're the 8th child's Digimon." Ash said.
Gatmon was shocked by this. "Wh-what?"
"And as for who the 8th child is it's the same person you thought about striking down." Tyson said
"K-Kari?!" Gatomon gasped. "W-Why are you helping me? I'm your enemy?" Gatomon said when Pikachu appeared in her face.
"True you WERE the enemy. But tell me something do you really like working for Myotismon? And be 100% truthful.",he said.
"He couldn't stand the look that was on my face."
"Look on your face? What was wrong with it?",he asks.
"He didn't like my eyes and every time I looked at him these eyes he would hit me."
"And that's when you changed didn't you?",Ash asks and she nods. Ash walks over to her. "We can give you a better life away from Myotismon, but we need your help to defeat him."
She was hesitant at first but then looks Wizardmon who gives a feint nod.
"Alright what do I have to do?" Gatomon asks.
"Well the first thing is to actually introduce yourself to Kari." Ash said as he and Tyson went to Tai's balcony.
"Meeko, you can't come out here, go back inside.",Kari had her back turn and puts her cat back in the house and closed the doors.
"Hey Kari." Ash said startling her.
"Oh Ash, Tyson what are you doing out here?" Kari asks surprised.
"Oh just have a little surprise for you.",Tyson said. Wizardmon floats over to Kari and Gatomon jumps onto the balcony as well.
"Oh it's you you're Agumon's friend, why did you run away earlier the last time I saw you?" Kari asks as Wizardmon puts the Digivice in Gatomon's paws.
"Looks like we were right all along. Kari..you are the 8th Digidestined.",Tyson said.
"Kari, Guys get away from them!" They all look to see Tai and Agumon running out
"Wait listen to what I have to say." Wizardmon said trying to stop him.
"Kari those are evil Digimon!" Tai said
"No they're not! Gatomon came looking for-",Kari was cut off.
"Pepper Breath!",Agumon launched his fireball at them.
Gatomon quickly pushed Kari out the way and takes the hit. She was sent to the ground.
"Oh no Gatomon!" Kari moves toward Gatomon. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine this is nothing compared to what I've been through." Gatomon said getting up.
"Listen Tai, Kari was the 8th child all along.",Ash told him.
"Then why do you work for Myotismon and who is this guy?" Tai asks.
"This is Wizardmon he risked everything to find Ash and bring me the Digivice." Gatomon said
"One of you must take the device if Myotismon finds her with it this he will destroy Gatomon and he won't stop until he destroys the 8th child." Wizardmon said
Tai was about to take it but Tyson said. "I'll do it!"
"Are you sure Tyson?" Ash asks.
"Actually he might be the best choice since he's not a Digi Destined Myotismon doesn't see him as a threat." Wizardmon said handing the Digivice to him.
"Tyson.",Tai looked at him.
"I promise I guard it with my life." Tyson said putting it in his pocket.
"Tyson since you're holding her crest and Digivice I want you to stay close to Kari and keep her safe." Ash said
He nods. "Understood.",he turns to Kari and Gatomon. "Looks like I'm your bodyguard."
"I'm counting on you Tyson." Kari smiles. He gives a grin and a thumbs up like his brother.
"I'm counting on you all good luck." Wizardmon said flying away.
"Goodbye Kari." Gatomon said following him.
"Gatomon!" Kari said not wanting her to leave when Tyson grabs her shoulder.
"Hey don't worry you'll see her soon." He smiles.
She knew he was right and then she smiles. "Ok."
As Wizardmon and Gatomon headed back to Myotismon little did they know their betrayal would soon be discovered.
While the others were asleep, Ash, Tyson, Pikachu and Pichu were still up.
"It's amazing first I'm feeding my Pokemon at Prof. Oak's lab and now I have a brother and am saving another world." Ash said.
"It's crazy how things end up like this." Tyson said when he heard a beeping. "What is that?"
"Oh it must be Prof. Oak." Ash takes out his PokeGear and answers it. "Hello?"
"Hello? Ash? Are you there?"
"Prof. Oak you are not going to believe what has happened to me since I went back."
"Is it any crazier than what happened to you earlier?" He asks.
"Yup.",he said. He began to tell him about Myotismon, meeting Tyson then being in the another world.
"Ash that is incredible an entire world without Poekmon that's simply remarkable."
"I know people look at my Pokemon and think they're toys." Ash said
"Have you talked to your mother about this new "family" addition you decided on?" Prof. Oak asks.
Ash shook his head. "Just about to."
"I see and..how is your..father."
"I haven't heard from him since I came back, I'm a little worried." Ash said.
"Well I'm sure wherever he is, he's doing fine."
Ash smiles. "Thanks can you put my Mom on the phone?"
"Of course and Tyson I hope you come back to Pallet I'd be happy to help you if you plan on going on a journey."
Tyson smiles. "Thank you Prof.",he said. Prof. Oak went off the phone to get Delia. Little did the boys know, their little conversation was being heard in the hallway.
Tai, Kari, and Agumon were standing by the door listening in on it. "Tai what does he mean about a journey?" Kari asks.
"It's a thing kids in Ash's world do when they turn 10 they get to see the world and catch Pokemon." Tai said.
"Catch them?",She said a little worried.
"Ash says it better he made it sound really neat." Agumon said.
"Shh Shh I hear another voice." Tai said.
"Hello?",Delia asks on the line.
"Hey mom its me.",Ash said.
"Hey honey Prof. Oak told you had something important to tell me." She said.
"Yes well mom you see I found a kid from our world trapped in the Digital World, after hearing he was an orphan and all alone I kinda took him in and made him my little brother." Ash said.
"You did?",she said shocked.
"Now mom I know you probably don't think I should just go ahead and just adopt him without your agreement bu-"
Tyson grabs the PokeGear. "Mrs. Ketchum please understand Ash was just trying to help me, and he's given me so much, he's taught me how to battle, make friends, he made me feel a part of the team. I understand he put you on the spot like this, I've never had a family before so when Ash said he would be my big brother I jumped at it, don't be angry at him."
There was a short silence. Til they heard a sniffle on the phone.
"Mom? Are you ok?",Ash asks.
"Ash that might be the sweetest thing you have ever done, Tyson if you'd like would like to be part of the Ketchum family?" Delia asks causing them all to smile.
"Yes! Yes I'd love to!"
In the other room Tai, Kari and Agumon were silently cheering.
"Then I hope you boys come home soon, that includes your father and when you see him..tell him..your green Leaf misses you."
"I will and when we come back you can tell him that yourself." Ash smiles.
"Boys be safe I love you both." She said.

"Tyson Ketchum..you know it has a nice ring to it." Pichu said.
"It sure does.",they heard Agumon's voice and they turn to face the three.
"Were you guys eavesdropping on us?!",All four said. The three of them laugh at their reaction.
"Wait til I tell the others." Tai said.
"Why must you butt in?",Tyson groans.
"Cause they have nothing better to do than be annoying." Ash groans.
"Hey we're friends. It's our job.",Tai snickers. Ash and Tyson sigh, but then laugh at their similar reactions. Some day's these turn out to be.
