I'm back!
Once again, to another story that I have seemingly abandoned. Please bear with me all! I'm just trying to get my creativity back! ;)
Chapter 11 - Tita's Thoughts and Her Resolution.
Tita Russell had retired to one of the rooms in the Inn after Estelle and her had, had their chat.
'Renne...'
Tita walked to the window in her room that she had borrowed for the evening and looked into the sky. "I miss you." She whispered as a lone tear fell down her cheek. She had promised Estelle that she was not going to "Run off" or do anything stupid... But it hurt. To have Renne taken away like that. It just...
It hurt.
"Tita?"
Tita looked to her right and Agate was standing there, holding his side but he was still standing there.
Tita nodded. "Agate, good to see you." She felt her mouth curl into a smile. "It's been awhile..."
"And you, how are you holding up?"
Tita Russell sighed. "I wish I was better... I've lost everything... Even Renne...and its gonna be hard to get her bac-"
"Why are you doubting her like that?"
Tita blinked. "What..."
Agate sighed and walked into the room, sitting down on a chair after being offered by Tita. "Thanks." "No problem, now, what are you suggesting?"
Agate took in a deep breath and exhaled. "Simply put, why are you doubting Renne so much? She clearly has been through hell and back to even so much as offer you a chance with her. She loves you right?"
Tita blushed but nodded. "I t-think so..."
"You either do or you don't"
"Okay, fine... I do know. I love her to pieces... and she does for me as well."
Agate nodded. "Right, so, if you feel that way - What makes you think she doesn't feel that way? Ouroboros are awful, awful people, but she wanted to secure your safety... Right?"
Tita eventually nodded again. "Yeah?"
"Right. Now listen up squirt, we're going to get Renne back, torch Ouroboros and bring them down. Are you ready to take them on?"
Tita lowered her head so her eyes were covered by her hair. "I..."
"You have to be absolutely certain. One wrong move and you'll end up dead... Permanently this time."
Tita sighed. "I am. I just wish Renne was here to give me some comforting words."
"Here, let me put you to bed. You look like you need it. We won't seperate... I'll make sure the others know as well."
Tita smiled. "Thank you Agate."
"No problem."
[2 days later...]
Tita woke up very slowly and felt her body tingling. She wasn't used to this kind of orbment and something else... But she couldn't tell what the something else was. Slowly she tried to open her eyes and eventually managed to roll onto her side. "Ugh..." She could feel aches... Not full throttle pain anymore, which she was more thankful for... Just... She felt tired. Very, Very tired.
"Tita..."
Tita groaned and rolled over to her other side. "Not now..."
"Tita..."
Tita took in a deep breath and slowly sighed. "Who...?"
"It's me, Anelace. You've been asleep for two days straight, don't you think its time you woke up?"
Tita widened her eyes slowly. "I've been asleep for TWO days!?"
Anelace, who was by Tita's bedside sitting there nodded at her. "Yep! Do you want me to get you anything?"
Flashes of Renne had Tita's eyes returned to normal as she felt a series of tears form in them.
Anelace, being Anelace, instantly was off the chair and hugging Tita. "Hey...Shhhh... I know...I know..."
Tita started to cry. For once in her life she cried so much that Anelace thought she wouldn't stop. But soon enough she did.
