Apology
After returning from the beach, Gou shut herself in her room. Rin tried to talk to her but to no avail. He stood at her door for a while blaming Mikoshiba for bringing out the worst in him. Finally after many minutes, Gou opened her door slightly and looked at her brother.
"A tiny "sorry" would have done the job, instead of blaming Mikoshiba-san."
Rin stayed silent for seconds.
"Why is it too hard for you to say it?"
"I'm sorry."
"Tsundere." she said and closed her door.
"Huh?! Hey! What now?! I apologized properly! Gou! Stop ignoring me! Gou!"
The door opened again.
"Do you really mean it?"
"… Yes. Just forgive me, okay? This is not cool."
"I'll forgive you if…"
"What?"
"Here." she handed him a folded paper. "Do what is written here." she added and closed her door. And this time, Rin heard her locking it.
Slowly he opened the paper, not sure of what to expect at all. There was one single line that read:
Go buy me some pads and chocolate ice cream ❤
Rin's world was crashing down.
