Chapter 11
The two blondes placed their hands together and bowed their heads to pray at the shrine with smiles and closed eyes. They stood for a moment before lifting their heads and glancing at each other. "You ready to get your stuff?" Alexiel nodded as they moved out of the way of others to head back to the house. Len was tempted to grab hold of his hand, but he knew it would bring suspicion of the employees along with the rest of the Lucifens. He held himself back until he made sure they were alone.
The older blonde waited outside so Alexiel could have the chance to say goodbye to his father for the night and to tell the spirits to wait for him. The lavender-eyed teen stepped out of the house with a bag filled with his belongings and smiled at the other before they headed to Len's motorcycle that was parked near the large steps leading to the shrine. They slowly climbed on and after being situated, drove off towards the nearby suburbs. Alexiel held the other with a tight grip in order to not fall off. He wanted to start a small conversation, but with how fast they were going, Len probably wouldn't hear him over the wind.
Surprisingly, it didn't take long for Len to arrive home, and the two climbed off of the motorcycle and began to step towards the front door. Alexiel lifted his head to take in the sight: It wasn't too large nor too small, two stories high with an attic that he almost didn't notice, and the exterior brought a pleasing sight to his eye. He smiled as he continued to follow the blonde inside only to be greeted with a hallway. "You look like you expected something else."
"No it's not that," The younger blonde replied with a shaking head. "I didn't think it would look this nice."
"Well, I always clean in case I have guests," Len lead him into the living room sat on the couch with a rather loud sigh and lowered his gaze. "How long did this take us? About a month?"
"I-I guess." Alexiel reminded himself of how long he knew the other and nodded in response. He set his bag down in a chair and stepped over to a bookshelf that held stacks of movies. He crouched down and peered at the selection as Len watched him with a lifted eyebrow. He scanned the spines carefully until one caused his eyes to widen and glance back at the other. "You like Bad End Night as well?"
"Well, I watched it once and thought it was alright, but it grew on me. Do you like it?"
"Of course!" Alexiel stood with a smile. "Whenever we had the chance to, Rilliane and I would watch it or read the book. We would never grow tired of it," He giggled before continuing to speak. "I remember Father scolding us for watching it so late at night, but it was worth it. Sometimes we would imagine what it would be like in that world, and we pretended that we were in the story. It was lots of fun," He heard a chuckle and blushed before lowering his head. "I'm sorry. I was rambling, wasn't I?"
"Rambling or not, it was cute." Len rose from his seat and headed for the kitchen. "I'll get some snacks for us and we'll watch it."
"You mean it?" Len pecked his cheek with a nod before disappearing into the kitchen. Alexiel slid the movie out of its place on the shelf and held it close as he sat down. It didn't take long for the other blonde to return with a bowl of popcorn and other snacks before he began to play the movie. Every once in a while, Alexiel would giggle and snuggle closer to the other with a smile along with Len whispering a line in his ear, causing him to blush and push himself away. After a moment, he would cuddle with the blonde again.
When the ending credits scrolled across the screen, Len lowered his gaze to see Alexiel attached to his arm with his eyes closed. "You alright?" Alexiel nodded with a nuzzle and pulled himself closer. "I'm just resting my eyes for a bit from tonight." Len smiled before they heard a phone vibrating on the table. The older blonde reached over to glance at the caller ID and frowned. "Give me a minute. I'll be back soon." He kissed Alexiel's cheek before taking the phone and heading into the kitchen. "What do you want?"
After a response from the other line, his frown grew and his gaze lowered. "No way not tonight," He growled. "I have company spending over so send her tomorrow." The voice spoke back to him and Len was about to snap at him. "It's fine with me. Now if you'll excuse me." He hung up the phone and stepped back towards the couch to see Alexiel's concerned face. "Is everything alright?"
"It's nothing." Len sat next to him with closed eyes, but the expression on the other's face stayed. The lavender-eyed blonde slowly reached up and placed a hand on Len's cheek and caressed it gently. Len kissed the heel of his palm with a soft gaze. "It's not nothing. It's bothering you and that worries me. I want to know what's wrong."
"I just don't want to talk about it," Len replied with a nuzzle. "I don't want to trouble you."
"Len!" Alexiel's voice almost rose into a shout, and the other's blonde's eyes couldn't help but widen. The younger blonde gave a stern look and leaned closer. "I want to know. Please?" Len brought their hands together and lowered his head. "I promise I'll tell you, just not today. Trust me, okay?" Their lips were inches away from touching and their eyes were halfway closed. Alexiel took a moment before nodding. "Alright. I trust you." Len gave a soft smile before gently grabbing his chin and pulling him forward for a kiss. The young blonde's eyes closed in response as he kissed back, snaking his hands around the other's neck. Len slowly grabbed onto his hips and pushed him on his back as he deepened the kiss. Alexiel's eyes widened when he felt a tongue sneak between his lips and into his mouth. He whimpered as a result, causing Len to back away to breathe. "Sorry, was I rushing it a little?"
Alexiel averted his gaze with a blush, and Len spoke up again. "Do you want to do it?" The older of the two rose from his position so the lavender-eyed blonde could sit up, although he kept his gaze away. "I. . . . I want to do it, but not now." Len gently stroked his sides with his thumbs with lowered eyes and kissed his temple. "I figured you would say that. We should take things slow since it's the first time either of us is in a relationship. If I seemed like I was rushing things, then I apologize."
Alexiel shook his head with a smile and turned back to the other. "It's fine. I just wasn't expecting it." Len nuzzled him in response before glancing at the time on a nearby wall and standing up. "I'll show you to your room."
"Wait what?" Len slightly blushed as he grabbed his hand. "Well, I don't know if you're willing to share a bed with me."
"Len, I've been sharing a bed with someone my entire life," Alexiel replied with a giggle. "I don't mind at all." He smiled as he followed the other up the stairs and down a short hallway, stepping towards a door on the left. "And this is my room." Len opened the door and Alexiel stepped inside with slightly wide eyes. The room was medium sized with light blue walls, the bed sat under the window against the wall and was big enough for three people to sleep in, the closet was placed in a corner to the right of the door, and a dresser was next to it. The two stepped inside and Alexiel placed his bag near the closet and watched the other open the dresser to pull out a nightshirt and a pair of boxers to sleep in. He popped a few buttons off of his shirt before turning to the younger blonde. "Are you gonna stay and watch?"
Once Alexiel realized that he was still in the room, he blushed madly and covered his face with his hands, causing Len to chuckle and step towards him. "It's alright if you want to stay. I don't mind." The other proceeded to slip his shirt off and allow it to fall to the floor. He turned to the other and Alexiel's eyes widened even more with a darker blush. Len smiled before it grew into a frown and a concerned look. "Uh Lexi, your nose is bleeding."
"What!?" The young blonde gently placed a finger under his nose and felt something wet. He looked down to see blood on his hand and he gave an embarrassed look towards the other. Len stepped over towards the nightstand to give him a tissue and pulled on the nightshirt. "Now unless you don't want to pass out, I suggest you turn around." The younger blonde got the hint that he was about to take off his pants and immediately turned on his heel to look away. It took a few moments before Len turned him around to see him dressed. "I should probably leave so you can get dressed unless you're comfortable with me seeing you strip down."
The lavender blonde held his bloodied nose with one hand and pushed the older out of the room with the other with eyes clenched shut. He released a sigh and pulled out his nightclothes from his bag and began to take off his attire. Alexiel shot a quick glance at the door in case Len walked in for no reason. Luckily for him, the older blonde stayed in the hall and patiently waited.
The door opened a moment later and Len was greeted with the small blonde in pajamas, and he was allowed back inside the room. Len checked the time to see that it was almost midnight, and he could tell the other blonde was about to fall over. He gently lead the other towards the bed and the two slowly crawled under the warm sheets. "I'll cook breakfast tomorrow, alright?" Alexiel nodded as the other brushed hair out of his face with a gentle smile and pecked his lips. "Night, Lexi."
"Goodnight, Len." Alexiel snuggled closer to the other and nuzzled his head into the pillow before drifting off to sleep.
(A/N): And that's the end of another chapter. In the near future, I'm most likely gonna have an entire chapter in Len's perspective because I'm always writing about Alexiel. I plan on doing that. Anyway if you like this chapter, don't forget to follow, favorite, review, and await what happens next.
