The first to appear was Luxray behind him was four men dressed almost the same as Serra but slightly different. They had long sleeved light brown shirts, pants made out of furs though all were wearing the same poncho like furs draped over their shoulders there was one who had a red flower pinned to his. The three other men were holding staff with a sharp blade at the top. 'They must be warriors' Kagome thought. "Elder" Serra bowed in respect. Kagome knew that she was referring to the man with the flower, 'so that is her leader?' "So these are the visitors Luxray has informed me of I assume" The Elder stated. "Yes Elder. Luxray had found them but when I was about to leave them there so the high tide to carry them out Luxray had noticed the Charizard a long ways from here and immediately tried to help drag some of them closer to the treeline. As we managed to do so all there was left was the girl I was too tired to simply drag her to the others so I tried to wake her. And when she did she was not afraid of Luxray and when you arrived the Charizard though injured stood in front of her to protect her."
Kagome, though having a hard time looking over Charizard's wings, from what she could see The Elder was considering it. "You bitch! You would have left us there to die just because we didn't have this Pokemon with us!" Inuyasha growled harshly. "Inuyasha!" Kagome scolded. But even Charizard seemed to agree as he began to growl fiercely at Serra surprising The Elder as well as his guards. "Charizard! Not you too!" Kagome said. The Elder seemed to think it over at this strange situation never in his life as anyone been washed on to the beach and was protected by a Pokemon. Kagome seemed to slightly interest him a bit. He wanted to know more about this strange girl that seemed to wear such strange attire. Then all stopped when they could hear a audible moan among their unconscious friends Kagome quickly turned to The Elder, "please help my friends. They need desperate help!" Kagome pleaded. "And why should we help you?" one of the guards sneered. "Because it was one of your so-called-Pokemon that did this!" Inuyasha growled loudly.
They were shocked. No Pokemon would do such a thing without being provoked and that Serra knew. She had been around many Pokemon in her young youth and never would a Pokemon would strike out against without purpose. "How could you say that! No Pokemon would do such a thing unless you were purposely trying to harm it!" Serra yelled angrily. "Harm it! Ha! It was destroying a village of course i would try to hurt it!" Inuyasha growled. "Yea right must have done something to harm it to do such a thing!" Serra yelled. "Please understand!" Kagome pleaded, "this Pokemon was no ordinary Pokemon! That is why I am concerned! We did not try to harm it! There was a shikon shard embedded in side of it!" Before Serra could say another word she was interrupted, "and please do tell what kind of Pokemon was it? And what is this so-called shikon shard that you speak of?" The Elder asked looking directly at Kagome with a fierce expression making Kagome highly uncomfortable with the sudden attention. Inuyasha noticed and growled in warning at the man.
"The shikon shard was once part of a jewel called the jewel of four souls. It is very powerful people have died trying to get their hands on one or simply being killed by a being possessing a shikon fragment. Many have died because of it. It can be used either for good or for evil and the only way to get rid of it is to make a wish upon the jewel" Kagome sighed. "And you say that one of the Pokemon is possessed by this jewel fragment. Which Pokemon is it?" The Elder asked with great patience though his guards were not doing a fine job in keeping their agitation to themselves. Well how can they when they had a furious over-protective hanyou and a fire breathing like dragon growling at them it could make anyone anxious.
"Suicune" Kagome softly stated. They gasped not believing Serra placed her hand over her mouth in disbelief, The Elder became tense with worry shining in his eyes, the guards became more agitated while very much concerned, and even Charizard and Luxray gave an expression of great discomfort. Inuyasha didn't understand why they were acting this way about that kind of creature. It had tried to kill them for hell's sake! "So what? What's the big deal if it is! It's not like it matters! All that matters is that that thing has the jewel shard!" Inuyasha yelled annoyed. "You don't understand Inuyasha Suicune is a very important Pokemon. In fact a legendary Pokemon. Pokemon like those are very rare they are only one of a kind their are no others like them. They each play a very important role and very respected" Kagome stated.
"But what becomes to those who become possessed by the jewel?" Serra whispered not even paying any attention to Inuyasha's ranting. "If anyone is possessed by the jewel their souls become corrupted if they are not saved. If Suicune isn't saved in time I fear his soul can never be saved" Kagome said sadly. The wind began to pick up and some how Kagome knew that this wind was ominous a sign in what is to come in the near future Kagome could feel it. The Elder must have felt it as well, "help bring them to the healer's hut. They must be fed and given new clothes while the ones they now wear is being cleaned. Then later bring them to my hut we have many important matters to discuss" The Elder said authority. The warriors rushed to pick up their fallen comrades and began to carry them into the woods to their village. "Thank you for helping us! Thank you" Kagome said appreciatively bowing to show her respect.
"If you truly mean what you say then you must be prepared. I feel something ominous at work and it seems to be working its way to you girl" The Elder says to Kagome. "Ha! Like I would let anything happen to Kagome old man!" Inuyasha yelled arrogantly. "Is that so well I am sure Serra is more than able to escort you to the healer's hut I am sure you all are very hungry. So if you excuse me I have important matters to attend to" The Elder stated walking towards the village, "my name is Ginto. It is nice to meet you all" he called over his shoulder and was out of sight. "Man that sure was a strange old man" Inuyasha said Kagome nodded in agreement. "Well he is the wisest man on the island but he has his moments" Serra says getting onto her feet, "come on I will lead you the way" as she begins to walk towards the treeline. "Do you think we should even trust these people Kagome?" Inuyasha whispered thinking the people on the island are very strange since he was not used to this Pokemon thing yet. "Well they have been nice to us so far so why not?" Kagome replies as she follows after Serra with Inuyasha and Charizard close behind.
