A/N: So much is going on behind the screen...This Summer class is so draining but I had some energy to write this and we all know how long these chapters are. The goal is to have the final chapter up next Friday because I want this story to be done a couple of days before Season 5 premieres. To end this note off why does Dylan Sprayberry look older than me? Lmao all these 14-17 year olds look nothing like their age and it's really upsetting! Anyways, Carry on!

"Lonely little dream this dream.

Sleepy future passed, Unseen.

Trying hard to get beneath,

The skin your underneath.

That undiscovered heartbeat

Takes me down my easy street.

Puppets hanging from the strings

Rip them off like angel wings.

Born and raised in rain

Made me feel this way.

Twenty pass forever started yesterday.

I will call you shame when she knows my name

Who is braver, this won't save her." -Miriam Bryant

"I was told when I get older all my fears would shrink,

But now I'm insecure and I care what people think.

My names 'Blurryface' and I care what you think.

My names 'Blurryface' and I care what you think.

Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days,

When our momma sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out." -Twenty One Pilots

...

"I could drag you from the ocean, I could pull you from the fire.

And when you're standing in the shadows

I could open up the sky.

And I could give you my devotion

Until the end of time.

And you will never be forgotten

With me by your side." -Hurts

A lot of people might disagree with Cattleya's thinking. She was part of the little percentage of the world that enjoyed Math. Cattleya found the time through everything that was going on to study for her Statistics exam that she would have to take online for her college course. She finished her other homework for class catching up rather quickly and now put all of her attention into her studying. Well, a majority of it. Half of her mind was directed towards texting Liam on 2 percent so he knew it was real. The seventeen year old lay on her stomach on her bed with her laptop in front of her with a bowl of leftovers that her mother made for dinner. Cattleya let out a yawn after swallowing the rest of her shrimp scampi. Cattleya finished off her last problem and submitted her test to her instructor, After logging off from the sight she glanced down to the bottom right to see that the clock now struck midnight just as Fifth Harmony's "BO$$" Started to play.

Cattleya climbed off her bed placing her bowl on her bedside table and wiggled her hips to the trumpet while making her way over to her dresser to pull out some night clothes. She pulled on her favorite PJ bottoms where there were little pigs drawn onto the white colored material with wings. Cattleya removed her shirt as she sung along to the lyrics, "Say that you a baller when you really tryna holla but that aint the way I was brought up. NEXT!"

Cattleya swipe her finger to the left and spun around letting out a small scream as her mother stood behind her. Cattleya let out a breath as she glanced down, "Mom what the heck?!"

The dark haired teen pulled her Steph Curry t-shirt that Scott brought her two Christmas' ago. She rearranged her glasses and took in the expression on her mother's face. Cattleya stepped closer to her mother questioning, "What's wrong?"

Melissa McCall removed the hand that rested on her forehead to her mouth letting out air from her nose. She glanced up at her oldest daughter and moved her hand to cross her arms. "I found money underneath Scott's bed."

Cattleya's eyes went wide as she tried to play it off, "Like tens, twenty's? I always steal those."

Melissa sent her daughter a sharp look which caused Cattleya to stand up a bit straighter. Cattleya knew about the money, She remembered that night she left the hospital exhausted finding Stiles and Scott sitting on the floor with the money in between them. However she did not feel the need to snitch on her brother or act like she knew about the money at all.

"I am going to ask you only one time and I want an honest answer, Leya. Did you know about the money under your brother's bed?"

Cattleya held her hands out, "I don't even know what you're talking about!"

Melissa latched onto her daughter's wrist dragging her out of her bedroom to Scott's room next door. Cattleya's eyes immediately went to the red gym bag that now sat on the end of Scott's bed. Cattleya watched as her mother stared down at the large amount of money and turned to her daughter who cautiously walked over to the bag. Cattleya picked up a stack feeling the weight of it in her hands and inspected the money, "So...can we keep it?"

Cattleya felt a sting against the skin of arm and flinched dropping the money back into the bag to rub her arm. She never understood how mom's could find everything, It's just a natural thing and Cattleya often wondered if her mother had some supernatural in her blood. Cattleya meet her mother's eyes as she held her finger out to her, "Since you want to act like you don't know about this. We'll both go downstairs and wait for Scott to get home and maybe he'll help jog your memory."

Cattleya let out a dramatic yawn and stretch, "No can do momma it's way pass my bedtime."

Melissa McCall picked up the gym bag, "You should have thought about that before you started texting Liam. Let's go!"

Cattleya held her mouth open in shock and decided not to ask anymore questions as her mother raised an eyebrow waiting for Cattleya to test her. Once the two women of the house made their way downstairs into the dinning room Cattleya sat down at the table while her mother sat the bag onto the table. Melissa began to pace again with her hand over her mouth, "Why? Where would he get this money? I hope he didn't steal it."

Cattleya snorted, "Scott couldn't even steal a candy bar when Stiles asked him to when we were seven. I had to do the dare instead because he started to cry."

Melissa stopped in her tracks, "Excuse me? I raised you better than that!"

Cattleya raised her hands in the air, "I know! It was stupid. If it makes you feel any better the candy bar had disgusting jelly filling inside like who does that?! Yuck."

Melissa sighed as she gripped onto a chair holding her head down. Cattleya leaned against the table waiting for her mother's eyes to meet hers once more, "Like you just said...you raised me better than that. You raised Scotty and I both better than that. He didn't steal momma."

Just as Melissa went to question her daughter further on the issue the front door opened with Scott trailing in.

He smiled as he closed the door knowing that his mother would still be up, "Hey, sorry I'm back so late. I was closing up the Animal Clinic. I got more hours to earn a little extra... money."

Scott trailed off as he saw the money resting on the dining table. His eyes quickly met Cattleya's knowing that she would never tell on him and turned to his mother who said, "How much more did you need?"

Scott towered over his mother as he informed her, "This is payment from the dead pool. I found it in Garrett's locker."

Melissa faced her son asking, "This belongs to Derek? So you're just keeping it safe for him in a gym bag underneath your bed? How long have you had it?"

"Too long." Scott pressed.

"You know you have to give it back?" Melissa addressed, Hoping that her son's head was in the right place.

"I was going to."

Melissa winced, "Do I want to know why you haven't?"

"Because of you." Cattleya piped in from her spot at the table.

A deep frown appeared on Melissa's face as she turned to her daughter and looked back at Scott. "Me?"

The dinning room now became quiet as Melissa studied both of her kids. Her eyes drifted to the bills that lay on the island table, "You mean because we've been struggling a little?"

"Mom, we're struggling a lot." Scott confirmed, letting his mother know that she did not have to downplay the situation at hand.

Melissa felt her heart swell at the words that fell from her child's lips, "Scott, you can save people's lives. But you cannot save them from life. Life is full of struggle."

"But it doesn't have to be." Scott assured, Placing his helmet onto the table.

Cattleya leaned over the table as their mother sighed, "Honey..."

Cattleya picked up the first stack, "This gets us a new roof. And this pays for Stiles' MRI. This pays for Eichen House." She finished now holding onto three stacks.

Scott picked up a fourth stack, "And this one means you don't have to work the double shift at the hospital and come home totally exhausted."

Melissa glanced at both of her children feeling so much pride in how much they wanted to help. Both of her kids tried so hard to take care of everyone around them and to make sure they were okay. Cattleya gave her mother a sweet smile which she returned before picking up a stack that was covered in blood, "What about this one?"

Cattleya sat back in her chair just as Scott's smile dropped. Scott nodded his head understanding exactly what his mother meant.

A few hours later Cattleya found herself at school in film class. The teacher decided to give the class a pop quiz on an old eighties film called "Stand By Me" within the quiz had comparisons to Stephen King's novella "The Body." Cattleya was the first to finish her test and made sure that everyone in the room knew that as she handed in her test. After that Cattleya went to AP Combinatorics, CP History with Mr. Yukimura, AP English, Economics with her favorite coach, and finally ended her school day with not attending cardio class. Cattleya instead met up with Liam after Scott filled her in that something was deeply bothering him.

Of course Scott wanted Cattleya to get it out of Liam but Cattleya wouldn't bring up the subject unless Liam wanted to. Cattleya was not one to pry, She waited by Liam's locker like she said she would and waited on the boy as she checked to see if her college instructor placed the scores for the exam yet. While Cattleya waited for the crappy school WiFi to load the login page she heard a familiar voice call out to her, "Hey good looking!"

Cattleya looked up from her phone and pushed herself off the locker catching Liam walking down the hallway. Cattleya grinned as she made her way over to the boy half way, "Hey hot-stuff!" She greeted reaching out for a hug, Liam let out a small chuckle as he buried his chin into Cattleya's shoulder wrapping his hands around the small of her back. Cattleya went to pull away but stopped short as Liam squeezed her a bit tighter to him, and she did not feel the need to complain at all pressing her nose into his skin. Cattleya got a whiff of cleanness as if Liam just showered. She never received the chance to get his scent since she spent too much time tasting his lips instead and gazing at his face all the time. Cattleya smelled soap and the smell of clean laundry which now became her favorite smell. To Liam Cattleya smelled like cucumber rain and he found himself squeezing her tighter than before.

Cattleya rubbed the back of Liam's head and moved her hands to his back rubbing her hand in circular motions. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah...I just missed you." Liam admitted feeling his cheeks tint a bit and was glad that Cattleya could not see his face at this exact moment.

Cattleya grinned, "You missed me keeping my side of your bed warm."

Liam remembered the way he freaked out last night. He barely got any sleep thinking the Berserkers would jump out through any space in the dark to murder him in his sleep. When Mason left after playing four rounds of a game he wanted to call Cattleya to come over but he figured she would be asleep at three in the morning. Now she was here, Right in front of him looking as good as ever and her scent made him feel at ease. Cattleya finally untangled Liam's arms from around her but held onto his hand as they made their way out of the school's building.

"Wait where are we going? We can't just up and leave school." Liam said, Checking over his shoulder to make sure there weren't any adults around.

Cattleya laughed as the two walked through the school's parking lot, "Liam if you wanna roll with a true leader you have to stop worrying about what adult figures have to say. You and I are going out to help get rid of what's got your nerves all over the place. Fear is shitty thing, Love."

Cattleya let go of Liam's hand as she walked over to the driver's side of the Mini Countryman. Cattleya placed her key into the car door and pulled the door open pressing her hand over the car door button to unlock the rest of the car. Just as Cattleya went to climb inside of the car she looked up at Liam who had his hands resting against the roof of the car.

"What?" She questioned.

Liam's bright blues smirked as he began to tease Cattleya, "Stiles told me not to get in a car with you. He said you were a pretty bad driver and you crashed your first two cars. Sooo I'm not sure if I should be accepting rides from reckless girls."

Cattleya tilted her head to the side as she thought about how to reply, "First of all, Stiles doesn't know shit. Second, I'm a woman who hangs out with wolves for a living. I'm also thinking about going on a date with a wolf but he's sassing me in a school parking lot instead of getting in my ride. Now Liam, If I'm reckless what does that make you?"

With a wink Cattleya climbed inside of her ride waiting no less than four seconds before Liam sat down next to her sending her a wicked grin.

This was just the beginning of Cattleya and Liam's adventurous date. Cattleya drove back to her house and hoped that her mother wouldn't be home or else the Latina would be driven right back to school. The two spent the time inside of her home and worked on their homework for a few hours until any date ideas popped into their head. Scott came home and seemed a little shocked to see Liam back in his sisters room doing what he hoped was just homework.

"Where are you off to?" Cattleya asked pushing her reading glasses up her forehead as if they were sunglasses.

Scott smiled that sweet smile that Cattleya's seen plenty of times growing up, "Kira and I are having a first date tonight. Please do not text her Leya, I want this to be a surprise."

Cattleya moved the back of her fingertips underneath her jawline with a wink smile, Her chipmunk like cheeks molding into her eyes. "You guys are so flippin' cute. Have fun Scotty."

"Wait what are you guys doing?" Scott turned back to the two.

Liam raised his history textbook, "Homework." He answered quickly.

Cattleya smirked turning to her twin, "For now. After that Liam and I are going on a date too."

Scott raised his eyebrows, "So you guys are...dating?"

Cattleya and Liam both shared a glance. Cattleya nodded her head at Liam to answer as she scribbled more notes into her Econ notebook.

Liam scratched the back of his head, "Um...We'll let you know when we figure it out ourselves."

Scott nodded his head and went to leave the room, "Have fun. But not too much fun, Okay?"

Cattleya fanned her hand at Scott, "Bye Scotty!"

Scott's laughter could be heard as he walked down the hallway to leave the house. Liam chuckled as he closed his history textbook, "It's almost seven and we still haven't figured out what to do."

Cattleya stretched her feet out and kept quiet as she whacked her brain trying to figure out what to do. Homework could keep your mind off of things for only a limited of time and that limited of time has finally ran it's course. Cattleya's never been on a real date before, She's sure she's never had a true boyfriend before. Not that Liam was her boyfriend just yet but still. Cattleya took a few interest in people when her father ripped her away from her home but it never went as far as getting to know them on a deeper level. It was all physical.

Cattleya clapped her hands together, "Are you hungry?"

Liam patted his stomach as he continued laying on his back on Cattleya's bed, "Yeah I could eat."

"Cool. We can go to Snow Monster and we can figure out what to do after?" Cattleya suggested now sitting on the edge of her bed.

Liam nodded his head in agreement as Cattleya pushed herself off her bed heading over to her closet. Liam watched as Cattleya sorta disappeared inside of closet and began to look around her room. Cattleya seemed to think that a room said a lot of people's character and Liam supposed there was truth within that statement. A person's room could hold their whole life story inside of those four walls. Cattleya's room was painted a smoke gray, her bed sheets were a light yellow and white with lots of pillows. To the right of her bed sat a window seat, a few spaces down from the window seat sat a desk where her laptop rested, against that wall held ribbons from gymnastics competitions, to the right of her bed sat a large sized penguin on the floor next to a dresser. Beside the door that led out of her bedroom sat a Zayn Malik cut-out and her closet was not too far away from that. Right across from her bed held the door to her bathroom and above her bed were poem entries written in gold script across the ceiling.

Liam blinked out of his daze as Cattleya exited from the bathroom now wearing a cream floral cardigan with fringes hanging from the arms of the cardigan, Underneath that she wore a crochet bra-let with the same jeans she wore earlier today and the same crescent moon choker. Her hairs was brushed down and her eyeliner looked re-applied. Cattleya grabbed a bag and jingled her keys snapping Liam out of it, "Ready?"

Liam now felt like he should have gone home and changed now seeing what Cattleya chose to wear. The seventeen year old assured that Liam looked fine and that they were be the baddest couple who entered the desert place. As Cattleya drove the distance to Snow Monster which was thirty minutes away from Beacon Hills Liam asked, "What's Snow Monster? I've heard people talk about it at school but I've never been."

Cattleya gasped, "It's the best desert place! Where did you go for deserts in Devonford?"

Liam watched as a motorcycle sped pass Cattleya's car on the highway, "I used to go to this place called Sweet Cavity with the guys from the team after every game."

"Sweet Cavity?" Cattleya exclaimed with raised eyebrows.

Liam nodded as Cattleya began to laugh.

"It has a reason for that name...because it's that good."

Cattleya rolled her eyes as she merged into the fast lane, "Snow Monster is better," She sung.

Liam stuck his tongue into the back of his bottom lip, "I highly doubt that."

"Trust me it is." Cattleya flicked her hair.

Liam crossed his arms, "Wanna bet on it?"

Cattleya glanced at Liam to see that same wicked grin on his face, "Your competitive side is showing Dunbar."

"Blame my step-dad, Are we doing this or what?"

Cattleya shrugged her shoulders, "Sure! Why the hell not?"

Liam rubbed his hands together, "Winner gets to pick where we go after desert."

"Okay. Loser has to do anything the winner wants." Cattleya answered causing Liam to raise his eyebrows.

That could mean literally anything. Liam stared at Cattleya's side profile with a skeptical look on his face which caused Cattleya to look over in take in his expression. She held her hand out, "Scared Dunbar?"

"You wish," He stated placing his hand in hers.

Liam held the door open for Cattleya as she entered the parlor and immediately felt goosebumps appear on her skin. The smell of ice cream and tea traveled up Liam's nose as he trailed behind Cattleya who stared up at the menu as if she had hearts in her eyes. Liam smiled from beside her and watched as Cattleya moved over to line where three other people stood waiting for their order to be taken. Liam stood behind Cattleya taking in every little desert that he could possibly see.

"What do you usually get from here?" Liam asked leaning forwards to place his lips close by Cattleya's ear.

Cattleya turned to Liam and rested her hands on his wrists, "Everything." She answered with a straight face.

Liam erupted with laughter causing Cattleya to crack a smile. She turned back to the line doing a small dance as she stood in front of cashier who had very thick beard, "Hey Cattleya! Welcome to Snow Monster, What can I get you two today?"

Liam raised his eyebrow that the dude knew Cattleya's name. Did the girl really come here this much? Cattleya sent the guy a quick wave, "Hiya Benny! Everything looks sooo good! May I have a Jasmine Milk Tea, Freshly brewed thai tea, an Oreo macaroon green tea ice cream sandwich, ANDDDDDD..."

"And?" Liam teased.

Cattleya shushed Liam as she tapped on her chin causing Benny to laugh.

"She's like this all the time when she comes here." Benny informed Liam.

Liam shook his head, "While she's thinking about what else she wants. Would you mind telling a first timer what they should try?"

Benny nodded his head, "Certainly...we have shaved ice cream."

"Shaved Ice cream?" Liam questioned to make sure he heard correctly.

Benny smiled, "Yeah dude it's sick. We also have what Cattleya just ordered, Freshly brewed thai tea, we have cookies..."

Cattleya wrapped her arms across Liam's shoulders pressing her cheek against his, "Everything's sooo good! Trust me I've tried everything."

Liam sent a smile to Cattleya and pointed out, "I guess I'll try the shaved Ice cream?"

"What flavor?"

"Um...Milk?"

"Any toppings?"

Benny now had Liam thinking this place had such a variety of things to eat, "Make it pretty my man."

Benny chuckled, "Coming right up! Anything to drink?"

Liam shook his head, "I'll just try some of her's."

"The hell you will." Cattleya replied earning another laugh from Benny.

Cattleya ordered a toffee crunch macaroon with coffee Oreo ice cream. Without a question Liam payed for the meal and the two made their way over to a set of tables to find a seat. Liam licked his lips as he looked around the place it had it's own rustic theme with bright colors going on. He might actually lose this bet.

"Scared yet?" Cattleya muttered as she pulled her bag to the side of her.

Liam's bright blue eyes met Cattleya's brown eyes as he crossed his shoulders, "Nah. I'm just really hoping it doesn't suck then we'll have to go to Chipotle or In-N-Out."

Cattleya reached over with a grin to flick Liam's ear, "Shut it."

Liam leaned his elbows onto the table, "They have so many toppings here it's crazy. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?"

"My mom was working late at the hospital and we didn't have much in the fridge because she forgot to go shopping or give Scott and I money to do it for her. Anyways I was the first in the fridge because everyone knows that I la-la-LOVE to eat. All that was in the fridge was peanut butter and Jelly. We didn't have any bread BUT we did have donuts."

Liam's eyes went wide, "You didn't."

"I did. I created a masterpiece Mr. Dunbar! Two glazed donuts stuck together with peanut butter and jelly."

Liam pressed the palm of his hand to his forehead, "That sounds gross. Was it any good?"

Cattleya flicked her hair behind her shoulder, "When you're as hungry as I am. Anything is good." She finished with a laugh.

"Stiles invented cheese toast with goldfish. What about you?" Cattleya continued, Whenever someone brought up food it would be a never ending story.

Cattleya's eyes scanned over the site as the workers started making their way over to the two but turned to the three seated at the table behind them. Cattleya gave a pout as she turned to Liam who answered, "I made Mason and I Pop Tart S'more with cotton candy and marshmallows from lucky charms."

Cattleya groaned, "Next time I'm over your house you need to make me one of your magical meals."

"Likewise," Liam stated just as their desserts were placed onto the table.

Cattleya thanked Benny and latched onto her first macaroon, "Already have you covered. At thirteen Scotty and I wanted to make our mom dinner once. So you know what we made her? Mac and Cheese waffle sandwhich with ghost chili buffalo chicken, ranch, and pickled habanero a, jalapeƱos. Scotty just had to thrown the jalapeƱos in there."

Liam stared down at his shaved ice-cream to see that Benny placed gummy worms, rainbow sprinkles, and gummy bears on top of it. He was in complete awe, He pulled out his phone and snapped a quick picture causing Cattleya to smile. She bit into her green tea ice-cream and felt that familiar flinch whenever she bit into her ice cream. People who bit into their ice-cream were not one to mess with, she turned her ice-cream to the side and started licking. Liam carefully scooped up his ice-cream and placed it into his mouth. It was not the best he's had but it was certainly not bad.

"How is it?" Cattleya asked placing the half ice cream down onto the plate to start drinking her tea.

"It's good. But it's not as awesome as Sweet Cavity."

Cattleya sucked her teeth, "I guess we're gonna have to go to Sweet Cavity to settle this then."

"You lost so that means I get to pick the next place." Liam reminded.

Cattleya sighed, "I know you like it here everyone likes it here. My mom gets tea to go, Scott orders pistachios flavored anything, and Stiles always gets anything peanut butter related. You're just a hater, Liam."

Liam snorted, "No need to get offended. At least it didn't complete suck?"

Cattleya held up her fist waving it around making Liam laugh a bit more. "You just reminded me me of an old person who gets mad at young kid for stepping onto their lawn or something."

Cattleya shook her head with a small laugh, "You're not funny."

"Aw come on don't be a sore loser." Liam reached his hand out to touch Cattleya's hand.

Cattleya allowed Liam to hold her hand, "Whatever. Let's play twenty questions, ten and ten each."

With his free hand Liam picked up a gummy worm, "I thought it was called twenty-one questions."

"Can I live?" Cattleya seriously questioned.

It was Liam's turn to shake his head, "Okay. Okay. Three songs you listen to the most?"

Cattleya danced in her seat as she mumbled, "This gets better and better every time. That's easy but I'm gonna tell you four instead because I like being difficult. So my four are Selena - Dreaming of You, 'N Sync - It's gonna be me, Shakira- Good Stuff, and Brandy - Top of the world. Do you have any strange pet peeves?"

Liam thought about that question for a moment wondering if he did have any. "I hate when people slurp things instead of sip them. It's really not that hard to do, especially if you're drinking something really hot you're supposed to sip it not slurp it. My step-dad does it a lot actually and I think that's when it really started to get on my nerves. One time I couldn't take it I just had to get up and leave the room before I chewed his head off. Who is your celebrity crush?"

Cattleya knew all about Liam's anger issues and she knew that was probably the best soultion. She felt proud of him for that. "Male or female?"

"Doesn't matter. Both." Liam quickly commented, taking another try at the shaved ice cream.

"Mila Kunis, Zayn Malik, AND this soccer player named Marc Bartra. Whew!" Cattleya grinned throwing the last one in there, "Last film you saw?"

"X-Men: Days of Future past. All the X-Men's I've seen life-changing...I wonder if there are any mutants around in beacon hills? What's the worst injury you've ever had?"

"Before or after Scotty became a wolf?" Cattleya wondered.

Liam saw her point, "Before."

"Sprained my foot by running into a coffee table in the living room. What did you recently lie about?"

By then Liam finished the rest of his of ice-cream and chewed on his bottom lip. He then rested his elbows on the table and sighed before looking at Cattleya underneath his eyelashes, "When I said I wasn't afraid."

There it is.

Cattleya leaned forward, "It's okay to be afraid. We're all afraid because we're hit with something new everyday."

"You guys don't act like it." Liam argued.

"That's because we hide it better. We also don't quit when shit get's tough but it's okay to be afraid Liam, It doesn't make you weak. What makes you weak is not owning up to it, I know you probably don't want to tell me what it is specifically that's got to scared out of your mind...but just know that we've all been there and we continue to be in that place. In order to get rid of a fear is to tackle it but in the end it's always your choice." Cattleya slid over the last jar of tea to Liam and stood up, Liam grabbed onto the jar and stared up at the gorgeous girl above him.

Cattleya spread her fingers out, "Come on. The night's still young, So where are we off to now?"

The two teens took their time walking down the boardwalk hand in hand. The air was a bit chilly since they were near a beach instead of the city side of Beacon Hills. Cattleya often enjoyed the night life since she spent pretty much of it on her own while her father spent most of his time drinking away his sorrows at a bar or letting his job consume his life. Now Cattleya could share this particular night with someone special, Someone she quickly fell for. The boardwalk was filled with plenty of people enjoying the night, the two stopped to watch a man play Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box on a guitar to Biggie's Suicidal thoughts on a near by boom box. That caught Liam's attention that he even felt the need to record it on his phone, Cattleya watched how Liam watched the long haired teen in awe and found herself enjoying how he looked underneath the boardwalk lights.

Liam finished the rest of the tea and admitted, "The tea was better than the shaved ice cream."

Cattleya scoffed, "Next time try the macaroon you might like that better."

"Maybe," Liam smiled and tugged on Cattleya's hand, "I know what we can do to end this date."

Cattleya lifted her head to see that the two now walked down some steps to stand in front of a store's building. Liam had her side-tracked so she didn't pay attention to the name of the store. Cattleya turned her eyes into slits as she stared at Liam who grinned back at her, "Alright. What's on your mind?"

Liam held the door open for Cattleya once more and the two now stood inside of a music store. The store was freaking huge compared the front door which made it seem as if the store would be smaller. The entry way was a bit narrow but spread out a great amount of distance. There were no walls in the store which made it look bigger than it probably could be, Cattleya lifted her head to see the roof of the building way up. The store played some old Drake tune as Cattleya swung their hands back and forth as they slowly walked forward.

"Welcome to Melody Land, Guys!" A girl worker chirped with red and purple colored hair as she walked on by.

"I know how much we both can't live without music so I thought why not go to a music store? Here's the thing we both have to pick an album, EP, or record for the other and buy it for each other but we both can't look at it until we're both at our homes."

Cattleya smiled, "Can we write notes inside of it?"

"Sure." Liam replied.

"Okay. Go!" Cattleya screamed letting go of Liam's hand and sprinting to the left.

Liam chuckled as he ran to the right side of the store and began his search. Liam started with the R&B section and started searching through male artists first before drifting off to women artists. A few workers asked if Liam needed some help and he did ask for a certain artist which they sold out of. Liam then moved on to country but figured that Cattleya didn't seem like the type to like country music so he moved on from there. On Cattleya's side of the room her mind was spinning...it felt like Christmas or birthday shopping. Except she wasn't shopping for her brother, Stiles, or Poppa Stilinski which she pretty much knew what they liked. This was Liam Dunbar. Liam is someone she took interest in, Liam is someone that she didn't want to just take interest in for a night or two. This was much more meaningful and Cattleya wanted to make sure she made the right choice. She skipped down aisles taking her time her eyes scanning over many artists and stopped in front of a cover that caught her attention.

She picked up the cover and walked over to a machine, Picking up some headphones she placed them over her ears and scanned the bar code on the back of the CD and waited for the album to play as she read the tracks.

Liam was the first to check out and write his message in while Cattleya took her sweet time. Her happiness faltered a little bit as she felt pain circulate in her body, It only lasted for a few seconds before it was gone. Cattleya decided to shrug it off as she checked out and thanked the girl at the register running up to Liam's smiling face. Cattleya childish held her bag behind her back as the two exited the store deciding to head home.

Cattleya pulled up to Liam's home turning the engine off. She turned to Liam who had his head resting against the headrest, Cattleya poked his chin causing those blue hue's to meet her's. The blue of his eyes were a bit darker now meaning that Liam appeared to be calm or at least that's what Cattleya thought. Those blue eyes reminded Cattleya of the blue sky resembled right before the sun said goodnight and Liam found himself staring back at those dark brown little eyes. He wondered what lay beyond them and thought that brown eyes were now his thing.

"Apparently I'm the loser so what does the winner get?" Cattleya inquired.

Liam licked his lips and stared down at Cattleya's small but very plump lips. All he could think about was tasting them again, "The winner gets a kiss from the girl who runs with wolves."

Cattleya smirked and unbuckled her seat belt and climbed into Liam's seat. She straddled his lap noticing his eyes flare amber like they usually did when she did things like this. Cattleya pressed her forehead against Liam's and her eyelashes tickled his own as she stared at him testing his patience.

"Well? What are you waiting for?" Liam demanded with a slight growl in his tone.

Cattleya placed her hands against Liam's collarbones and slowly leaned forward pressing her lips to his. Liam could feel touches of his wolf wanting to come out but he remained calm as he cupped Cattleya's cheek and just from that touch alone set fire through her jaw. Slowly but surely all at once a burning dripped from Cattleya's brain down to every inch of her body as she felt Liam's tongue flick against the edge of her lips. Just as Liam went to rest his hands on Cattleya's backside she pulled away smirking, "I think that's all the winner deserves since he didn't like my favorite dessert place on the planet."

Cattleya fought against her devil side and sat down in the driver's seat slouching down to catch some breaths. Liam still had his hands wide open as he stared out the window sheild in shock that that just happened. Cattleya bit her lip to stop herself from laughing and Liam turned to himself with an annoyance expression. This was the second maybe third time that Cattleya got to tease him but he now knew how to play her game. He leaned down to grab the bag from the floor on his seat and placed it in Cattleya's lap, "That's for you."

Cattleya nodded her head, "Thanks Liam! Yours in the backseat."

Liam leaned against the console with his arm outstretched almost whacking Cattleya in the face. He pulled back halfway rested his whole arm across the head seat trapping Cattleya into the headrest. Now he was in her face, breathing her air and just piercing her with his hurricane blue eyes. Cattleya felt herself tremble and Liam noticed it as well as he painfully moved closer and closer wanting Cattleya to seal the deal. Just as Liam wanted to smash his lips against hers he tilted his head to the right and kissed the skin on her cheek, "Goodnight Leya."

He grinned at her as he climbed out of the car as Cattleya gasped in shock. Once Liam made safely inside of his home Cattleya drove home feeling insanely overjoyed that their first date was a success. Little did she know that another werewolf on a date was not having such a great time.

The next school day seemed to pass extremely quick which it usually did on game days. Cattleya seemed a little on edge although she received a text from both Kira and Scott she didn't feel a hundred percent. Cattleya sat next to Poppa Stilinski, and Malia waiting for the game to start. She glanced down at the benches to see Stiles and Liam sharing a few words before Stiles leaned off to the side with his phone. Cattleya turned her eyes into slits as she felt Malia leaning into the side of her face, "Stop fidgeting."

"Can't help it." Cattleya said through clenched teeth.

"Want me to go get you a pretzel or popcorn to see if that'll help?" Malia offered.

"Would you?" Cattleya turned to Malia with wide eyes.

The were-coyote shook her head with a smile and ran off from the benches towards the food stand near by. Cattleya slid down next to Poppa Stilinski sharing a smile as the team started to warm up.

Half way through the game and Scott nor Kira had shown up to the game. Stiles got knocked down on the field for the second time and did not look like Beacon Hills stood a chance against Devonford Prep. The score was now 0-3 and as the player on the opposite ran towards the goal he made the goal without a problem now making the score 0-4.

"Come on!" Coach yelled jumping up and down a bit.

The referee blew the whistle calling a break as both teams rushed to their respective sides. Cattleya jumped off the bleachers turning to Poppa Stilinski and Malia, "I'll be in the parking lot."

The sheriff and the were-coyote had no time to ask any questions as the girl rushed off the field. A minute later Stiles stood in front of the two informing them that something was definitely up with Scott and Kira.

"Want me to stay here if he shows up?" Malia suggested.

"Yeah." Stiles agreed, Patting his dad's shoulder as the two Stilinski's also left the field.

Liam stood on the field using his werewolf senses to pick up on everything that was just said. Coach stood over Liam and screamed in his ear, "Liam! Get on the field!"

Liam moved onto the field doing what was asked of him and got into position. Brett stood against his opponent picking up a scent from across the field and the whistle blew he missed out of his chance to scoop up the ball as his opponent took the ball and ran towards the goal. Brett watched as his team mate used his stick to slam against their opponent's knocking the ball and the opponent onto the ground. Brett's teammate easily scooped up the ball and set off into a run down the field, He then tossed the ball to his other teammate who catch it effortless and ran spotting Liam running towards them. Liam stopped halfway down the field spotting something unseen to audiences running behind the teammates. In Liam's mind he saw the Berserkers shoving and piercing his old school's teammate with a sharp pointed bone. Liam gasped in fear but was brought out of his daze thanks to the Coach yelling, "Liam! For the love of god move!"

A few of his opponents glanced at Liam in pure confusion as they ran by and Liam tried his hardest to get his head in the game as he watched them run pass. Devonford Prep just made another score now making the game 0-5 causing everyone on the Beacon Hills bleachers let out a groan. They were losing on their own field. The whistle blew signaling another round as the teams ran around on the field, On bleachers Malia watched her eyes in search of Scott and Kira. A figure slowly made their way over to Malia and sat down beside her, "So, who's winning?"

At Eichen house a doctor stood over Deaton with a sigh, "Still nothing. I think we're going to have to move him to the sixth floor."

"You're not taking him anywhere." A voice interuppted.

The doctor and nurse turned to the doorway to see Lydia Martin making her way into the room.

"Well, unless you're family, I don't think you can make that decision." The doctor claimed from over his shoulder.

Lydia paused in her steps, "We're close enough," She stated before moving to stand beside Deaton's side, "Let me talk to him."

"He's not responding to any stimuli. We can talk to him, but there's no way of knowing he's actually hearing us." The doctor informed the teenage redhead.

Lydia's green eyes met the doctor's as she insisted, "Trust me on this. He'll hear me."

At the whistle Liam scooped up the ball ran down the field dodging old teammates as he sped down the field earning eager looks from the coach and classmates. Just as he got close to the goal he was knocked backwards by Brett knocking his stick and ball onto the field beside him, Liam angerily pulled his helmet off glaring up at Brett, "What the hell did you do that for?"

Brett also pulled his helmet off, "Because you're afraid. I can smell it on you from across the field. Are you hurt?"

"No."

"Are you still alive?"

"Obviously." Liam snapped.

Brett demanded, "Then get up."

The refree ran over to the two players immediately turning to Liam, "You good to play?"

With a nod from the shorter teen the refree directed his attention to the taller teen, "You planning on pulling something like that again?"

Brett moved his olive green eyes back to Liam's and gave a devilish smirk, "Only if I have to," Before running off to his side of the field.

Peter Hale sat next to his daughter watching the scene in front of him. Malia was now the one to fidget around her father messing with the beanie on her head, "I told you not to come here."

Peter tilted his head slightly to the left but kept his eyes on the field, "If you want to have a clandestine meeting you need to choose a clandestine location."

"After what happened with you and Meredith, I'm pretty sure I can do without any kind of one-on-one father-daughter time."

"How about mother-daughter time?" Peter declared earning Malia to lift her head and turn to him.

"That's right. I found our Desert Wolf." Peter continued.

"Is she definitely my mother?" Malia asked.

"Yes," He started turning to glance at his daughter then back at the field, "But if you want to find her, you're going to have to do something for me. Something that's come naturally to you for a very long time."

Malia swallowed, "Do you always have to get something in return?"

"When it's something I can't do on my own? Yes." Peter said as if it were obvious.

"What do you want?"

Peter than finally turned to his daughter meeting her eyes, "I want you to kill Kate Argent."

In the dark of the church inside of what could resemble a cell lay Kira on a pile of bones. Her heavy eyelids peeled open as she blinked a few times trying to figure out where she was. Kira winced in pain as she managed to roll her body over, half way up she realized she lay on bones pushing herself completely into a sitting position in fear. All she could see were bones and that only frightened her more. Kira pushed herself onto wobbly feet and held onto her arm that began to throb with intense pain. Her feet shuffled against the rattling of bones and glanced up to see a small hole in the ceiling above her, "Scott? Scott? Scott!"

When she received no response from her boyfriend she made her way over to a gate calling out for Scott once more.

After the game Liam sat alone in the boy's locker room and his silence was cut short as Brett leaned against the gym lockers, "You okay?"

"We lost." Liam answered.

Brett shrugged it off, "But you're okay, right?"

"Why'd you do that? Why'd you help me?" Liam wondered.

"Because of Scott. He saved me. He saved all of us." Brett admitted.

"What do you mean?"

Brett began to tell Liam why he respected Scott as an individual, "Scott's a True Alpha. That means he didn't get his power because he was born with it. He didn't get it by stealing or killing someone. He earned it. You're not strong just because you can lift a lot of weight now. You're strong because you endure. Satomi calls it strength of character. You're lucky to have him." With that said Brett left Liam alone with his thoughts.

"Then why isn't he here?" Liam challenged but gained no answer from the silence in the locker room.

Deputy Parrish continued pulling on the pipe inside of Chris Argent's body, His screams filling the swearers along with water dripping. Deputy Parrish panted, "Sorry. I'm sorry. I can't do it myself. It's not bending back and it's not coming out of the wall."

"Leave." Chris' voice sounding already dead.

"I can't do that either. I need you to help me. I know you're hurt and tired, but I need you to gather everything you've got and help me." Deputy Parrish would not leave this man behind.

"I've got nothing." Chris weakly replied.

Deputy Parrish rested his hand on Chris' shoulder, "Grab the bar, sir."

Chris weakly lifted his head repeating, "I've got nothing left," His eyes held nothing but pain he was ready to give up. He lost his wife and then he daughter he saw no other reason to live, "Please, go. Just go. You're running out of time."

"You know what you need? Adrenaline. There's two ways to get it. Fear and anger. Since you don't look like a guy who's afraid of anything, you need to get angry. You need to get so angry that your brain lets loose every bit of adrenaline it has left."

"I'm too tired to be angry." Chris answered.

Deputy Parrish decided to take different approach, "Okay. I don't know much about you or what you've been through. But Lydia told me some of it. And I know about Allison. I know how she felt about Scott. And I think if she knew what was happening to him she'd be pretty angry. At least angry enough to try one more time to get the hell out of here. So whatever trigger you need, if it's Allison, or your sister, or Peter, use it. Use it right now."

Chris placed his bloody hands on the pipe and Deputy Parrish moved to do the same. Chris' eyes met the young man's giving him a nod giving him the okay to start pulling. Chris began screaming as he felt the pipe slowly getting pulled out of it's bent formation and lifted his head upwards as he continued screaming. Deputy Parrish continued pulling as his eyes blazed a deep orange with hints of red in them but neither of them were aware.

Cattleya barged into Derek's apartment with Poppa Stilinski and Stiles in tow. Cattleya glanced around the place to see light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, the whole place was trashed giving evidence that something major went down here. Cattleya felt a ting of fear run through her veins as she breathed deeply noticing everything turned over with hints of blood covering the floor.

"What the hell happened?" Stiles was the first to say something.

Derek and Braeden shared a look before Derek answered, "It was supposed to be a date."

Cattleya walked around the place surveying the room already knowing the obvious as Poppa Stilinski interrogated, "They were both here?"

"And they're both gone."

Cattleya blew out a deep breath and struggled to swallow the lump in her throat.

Stiles' phone started to vibrate and the boy quickly picked it up, "Hey."

"Scott's been taken." Those were the first words that came out of Lydia's mouth.

"Scott's and Kira. We just don't know where."

Cattleya moved to stand next to Stiles pulling the phone from his ear. She placed the phone on speaker hearing Deaton's voice now, "Mexico. And if you want to save his life, that's where you're going too."

Scott felt the cold roughness of a stone beneath his back. He blinked a few times to adjust to the setting around him, at first he didn't feel pain but it all slowly started to appear at once.

He pulled at the belts wrapped around his wrist as Kate's voice echoed off the church walls, "Tell me, Scott. They ever teach you the myth of Artemis and Actaeon in school?"

Scott lifted his head spotting three Berserkers surrounding him along with Kate, "No? I didn't think so." She tightened the belts on Scott's legs.

"Well, Artemis was a goddess. And Actaeon was a hunter that happened to see Artemis bathing naked one day. This did not make the goddess too happy. In fact, she was so angry, Artemis turned Actaeon into a deer and this sent his own hounds into a frenzy. He was actually torn apart by his own hunting dogs."

Scott stared over to the left to see a Berserker holding the same sharp bone that he's seen and felt in his skin before. Scott felt panic swirling around inside as he quickly turned to Kate who now held a familiar skull in her hands, "What are you doing?"

Kate began to laugh, "I'm not gonna turn you into a deer. But you are about to become something unrecognizable to your friends. They won't know what they're fighting. Or killing."

Scott began to fight against the restraints as Kate circled the boy yelling, "Kate hold on...No, Kate, no. No, Kate. Don't. No, no. No! Wait. No, no! Kate, don't! No! Stop! Wait, no!"

Those were Scott McCall's final words as the Berserkers held the teenager to the stone and Kate placed the Berserker skull onto his face.

A/N: This chapter should have been posted earlier today but my laptop kept crashing and I got so pissed that I took a break and decided to watch Home which was so freaking cute! Then my laptop continued to act crazy so I just decided to go on the house computer and finish this up for the people who still find interest in this story.
