Chapter 11: On the Surface

Part II of III

The Invasion of Naboo Arc

This wasn't going to be pretty. From their latest reports, the Federation only had two control ships, but now, there were about five, orbiting the planet and watching things leave and enter Naboo. But what really got them; there was a Sith Armada waiting with the Federation control ships, blocking much of the planet from view. Qui-Gon's skin went cold at the sight, and he was glad that he wasn't the only one. But for some strange reason, it all made sense. The Sith helping the Trade Federation only seemed to be the most painfully obvious and seemingly, logical explanation.

It seems that having the ships painted black as night with only red clouds as the coloration, was a great idea. The Sith or the Trade Federation hadn't noticed them coming into the system. For the time being, they had the element of surprise. There were about thirty ships built up around Naboo, while the Jedi had literally half that amount, and that was with the Red Clouds' help. There was a very big chance that they were going to get blasted out in to empty space. They were terrified by their enemy.

None more so than Naruto. That many people wanted him and his brother. That many people were willing to kill and destroy everything in their paths. Naruto's blue eyes watched the sight in front of him. The Sith ships were menacing and the federation ships were just massive. He couldn't even fathom how many droids were walking around on that ship. He wasn't even considering the amount that weren't even active and simply resting.

He looked over to Anakin and sighed in relief when he found that even Ani was scared. This wasn't normal. This was a real war and Naruto had finally come up to speed. To think that Ani had already fought in a few battles only solidified Naruto's own worries. Ani was always a better fighter than he was. The battles were always explosive and dangerous. Something that Naruto was never really used to. Of course being in the pod-races on Tatooine was as close to action-packed as he could have gotten; a battle was many times worse.

Naruto's hand began to twitch. He couldn't believe that he was about to go down there and fight people who had much more experience than he did with war. He couldn't believe that he was expected to be able to put up a real fight. He especially couldn't believe that Padmé was completely unfazed by what was about to come. If anything, the girl was more ridiculous than she was beautiful. To think that a girl, a politician no less, was being tougher than he was; nearly had Naruto keeling over in despair. A fucking battle. Naruto scoffed. How am I going to do this?

They inched closer and closer to the massive fleet, they still hadn't been caught yet and they continued on their path. They were close to the armada, still wondering why they weren't caught yet. They inched in silence. Their engines made no noise and their engines didn't even emit enough heat. It was a turtle's pace and it only served to make more people on the verge of complete melt down.

Suddenly, seven Sith ships emerged from hyperspace and opened fire on the Jedi. The flagship was the first to get hit. Everyone was brought down to the floor, with others clamoring for support. Seven ships concentrated their fire on the starboard side of the flagship. Soon enough, the rest of the Sith Armada and Federation control ships, released their fighters and their attacks, pelting the fifteen frigates and warships with an unending barrage of turbo lasers. Things were not looking up for the Jedi. Flames were already starting to form within the Jedi flagship and holes were already punctured.

A few commands were given and the flagship managed to evacuate before it exploded in a brilliant red and white cloud of fire and smoke. From the smoke though, almost eighty individual craft and fighters shot free heading in all directions. There was one though that caught the attention of everyone present. It was a sleek, beautiful J-type 325 Nubian Royal Starship, racing towards Naboo. The Federation and Sith defense batteries immediately concentrated on the incoming starship.

Little did they know, it wasn't the everyday pilot driving the ship. Naruto and Anakin were sitting in the pilot and co-pilot seats. Naruto had a few shadow clones watching the other piloting computers and watching the radar. Padmé and the others watched in surprise as the two boys took immediate control of the situation. A vulture droid rushed in ready to gun them down, but the two pilots pulled the ship over, banking and dodging the attack completely.

Behind them, Kisame rushed in, smashing through the vulture droid and coming up next to their starship. The rest of the Red Clouds sped to catch up with the starship. They needed to protect the Queen and the other passengers. They were the only hope of getting the Sith and the Federation off guard. With a few good maneuvers and on-the-spot decisions, the Naboo starship managed to push through the federation blockade and enter Naboo airspace.

Naruto and Anakin expected there to be a few fighters following them, but their rear was clear. It seems the Red Cloud pilots did their job and kept the Federation and the Sith off their backs. Qui-Gon told them the direction they had to go to and the two boys piloted with excellent and near perfect landing in the forest below. They dropped the landing platform and quickly left the ship with lightsabers and swords drawn, save for Padmé who had a pistol drawn.

"Over there!" Padmé roared.

All heads shot over to see three droids coming in on their speeders, rushing to meet them in battle. Everyone got ready for a charge, but Padmé raised her pistol and pulled the trigger, putting one blaster round in their chests, killing each one in less than a second. The men turned to the one woman in their presence with eyes as wide as plates. The girl simply blew the small amount of steam glowering off of the barrel of her pistol and walked ahead of them.

Unbelievable. Naruto thought with a dropped jaw.

She led the large group of Jedi through the forest, trying her best to get the quietest path to Theed. Already, she could see Sith and Droid fighters patrolling the skies above the city. They looked like vultures ready to pick at the left over, rotting meat. Smoke rose into the air from various parts of the city making Padmé's chest turn with pain. She glared at the sight and turned back to her group of followers.

"There are too many in the city." She sighed. "We need a bigger army."

"How the hell are we going to get an army?" One of the Jedi guardians asked incredulously.

"Meesa know a place." Jar-Jar spoke, finally letting his presence known.

All heads jumped at the voice.

"Just follow me. Meesa find the place for you!" Jar-Jar ran off ahead of the Jedi force.

Obi-wan gave Qui-Gon a strange look before the two followed after the running Gungan. Naruto and Anakin struggled to move, but after they lost track of the Jedi running off, they finally felt their legs work again. The duo ran through the forest, dashing through trees and the foliage of the forest, crushing twigs, stick and slicing through leaves.

They had lost time and their entire group. If they got caught, things would only get chaotic and the entire operation would be for naught. Suddenly, fifteen droids appeared followed by four Nightbrothers, each wielding a lightsaber. Naruto and Anakin jumped back to back and drew their own blades. The two boys glared at their stupidity and were already shaking nervously. This was a fight they could have avoided. Two shadow clones appeared next to Naruto, both wielding a lightsaber and took positions next to their creator.

"No mercy!" Naruto roared and rushed ahead, dodging lasers and dodging lightsaber strikes from the Nightbrothers.

One of them came close, but Naruto lodged his fist into the man's cheek, bringing him down to the ground below. Naruto without another thought, kicked the Zabrak over onto his back and lodged his lightsaber into the alien's chest, burning the blade through the ground. He spun around with lightning speeds and hurled a handful of cortosis kunai and shuriken, killing the droids on his side of the battle with two of the kunai digging into the chest of the other Zabrak, leaving two more for Anakin to deal with. Naruto tore his lightsaber from the dying Zabrak and rushed in to help his brother.

This fight was easier than they first anticipated. Naruto though, had no idea he was actually channeling the Kyuubi's chakra. The two sped through the forest following after the various footprints left over on the soft soil below. The two weren't accustomed to such strange conditions, having lived on Tatooine their entire life. They were expecting sandstorms and sand grains to sink into their clothing and get into the creases of their sleeves.

They continued to run, following the tracks. No Jedi or Padmé were seen though. They continued their mad dash running into a few droids and patrolling Zabraks. For some reason, the entire forest was completely silent. The two stopped for a moment and Naruto's clones popped away, leaving smoke in their wake. The Skywalkers looked up into the sky and nearly felt a smile grow.

A massive Sith frigate was falling through the sky, in pieces. The two rushed out of the way as the beast of a ship was coming straight for them. A shadow clone came to life and grabbed Anakin. The two jumped high into the air, landing their feet on one of the many branches protruding from the trees above. The clone popped away, leaving smoke in its wake. Naruto and his brother stared at the site of the crash, dead Zabraks and droids littered the area.

"Come on, Ani." Naruto sighed. "We've gotta go, now."

"Where the hell is everyone though?" Anakin asked with an incredulous look.

"We can easily make a mad dash for Theed, you know?"

"Let's try to sense them first." Naruto sighed and fell into a meditation stance.

Everywhere, force signatures began to fill his mind with a map towards each one. But in one large area to the Northeast of where he currently was, almost two-hundred thousand force signatures were built up, each one different than the other, but none of them seemed strong enough to signify any force manipulation.

Naruto and his brother rushed towards the scene as fast as they could, not wanting to miss whatever they were doing. It was quite obvious that it was Padmé and the other Jedi, but other than that, they had no idea what an army was doing in front of them. Last the two remembered, the rest of the Naboo army was imprisoned or sentenced to death camps.

Naruto and Anakin managed to arrive at the rally point and gaped at the sight of two-hundred thousand Gungans looking at the Jedi, then back at the two Skywalkers. No one said a word, neither side knowing what to make of the situation. Naruto had a large leaf stuck to his scalp like a hat and Anakin had a few twigs stuck in his Padawan clothes. The two boys simply hobbled over to the Jedi and Padmé.

After a few awkward coughs and a few awkward stares, the talks continued with relative ease. Most of it of course was Padmé sucking up to the Gungans trying to get them to their side. Padmé groveled and begged and the Jedi fell to their knees asking the Gungans for their help. Naboo pilots and loyalists did the same, everyone bowed the Gungans.

Boss Nass burst into laughter, questioning if Padmé was being truthful. After a while, he wobbled his lips, showering the ground below with saliva. Gungans cheered in surprise and quickly grabbed various Naboo for back crushing hugs. They were finally allied. This was going to be one hell of a fight coming.

Qui-Gon and the Jedi forces moved through the streets of Theed, tearing through small groups of patrolling droids. The strange thing was that they hadn't encountered any Sith along the way. Naruto was standing right behind him while Anakin stayed with Captain Panaka. They split for many reasons. Anakin was an exceptional pilot and was needed in space to help the Red Cloud fleet and Naruto was to come with the Jedi to confront Maul since he was the only one to have landed a successful hit on the Sith.

The streets were empty, at least the backstreets. Alleyways were their friends and the shadows acted as shields. It may be daylight, but droids were stupid and easy to trick. Green Team, the group of Jedi, moved swiftly, avoiding the overly defended areas. It didn't take long. They were finally at the front of the Palace, just resting their backs against the front entrance.

A flash of red and a flash of blue were noticed coming in from the far side of the courtyard. Padmé held her blinker ready and flashed the green light. Land speeders hovered in with their blaster turrets. Naruto took a deep breath, watching carefully. The turrets turned and aimed at the first tank they caught in their radar.

Naruto was shot into the wall by the sheer power of the shockwave. Droids turned in all directions, signaling their attack. The blond jumped to his feet, activating his lightsaber. He charged forward, deflecting blaster bolts, sending them back to their owners. A droid suddenly rushed in towards him and Naruto did the only thing that came to mind.

He hurled his lightsaber at the droid like he would a kunai. The sword dug through the droid, killing it immediately, but it didn't stop there. The lightsaber continued forward thanks to the force and melted through at least five other droids. Naruto smirked and pulled his sword back towards him, following after the Jedi into the palace. He was close. He could sense his mother within the palace.

Droids were building up in front of the Gungan army. Their shields were up and there were about two hundred Jedi standing with them at the vanguard. It seems that the Sith and the Federation had the same idea. Almost double the amount of Sith were built up at the head of the Droid army. The only advantage that the Jedi could possibly hope to have is that they had more experience.

Many of the Sith warriors looked like they had never held a lightsaber in their lives. Some though, held lightsabers and axes; some with lightsabers and blasters. They were all over the place and it was obvious where their strengths were and where they weren't. But that didn't matter if they went on a rampage and simply stomped through them using nothing but heavy strikes and the force. Gungans didn't have guns and were rather…primitive. The Jedi didn't know if they could win the fight.

The droids were advancing at a slow pace and the Sith were as well. Their lightsabers wobbled against their legs. They were on their way to plow through them. It didn't matter though. The Gungans and the Jedi knew why they were even there in the first place; to distract the main force and draw the Droids and the Sith away from Theed.

Aayla took a deep breath and drew out her lightsaber. She was glad that she managed to slip through the Sith blockade and land not too far away. She and her small amount of men and women filed behind her and activated their lightsabers as well. Blue and green were drawn ready to clash with that of the Sith's abhorrent red. Zabraks and Nightsisters drew lightsabers and their bowstrings. They suddenly picked up speed, even with the Tanks behind giving off a heavy barrage of heavy bolts.

Aayla narrowed her eyes at the first Zabrak coming in through the shield. He was easily twice her size with a heavy breastplate of cortosis on his chest and wrapped around his torso completely. In his hands was a double bladed lightsaber, much like Darth Maul's own. The Zabrak's head horns were easily half a foot high, protruding from his bald scalp like a demon amongst men. Behind him the rest of the Zabraks rushed through the shield.

Aayla screamed out the first command that came to mind and took off ahead. Her lightsaber rushed forward, but was quickly blocked by the man's red blade. He spun back around and swung down onto her head, but Aayla managed to bring the saber back around and cut off one of his head protrusions. She built the force into the sole of her foot and sent him flying back into a group of Zabraks behind him.

Two took his place, both with saber-pikes. The first lunged at her while she tried to keep her stance steady. The woman ducked shortly afterwards as the second swung for her head. She weaved in between the first pike and lodged her lightsaber into his neck, grabbing the pike from his dead hands. She twirled the pike and did the same unto the second Zabrak.

The force gathered and she pulled her lightsaber back into her hands. Her Jedi warriors and knights stood their ground as best as they could. With a wave of her lightsaber, the Gungans began their artillery barrage of the droid army coming up behind the Sith. A hailstorm of Plasma balls rushed through the air, crushing the droids in their wake. Explosions and electricity went in all directions, destroying entire platoons for some of the droids. Aayla smiled at the sight; the Gungans were doing their job, making hers a whole lot easier.

She gave a few more commands, shouting back towards the Gungans and shouting to her own troops, they cheered and roared out with a new vigor ready and burning within. Adrenaline pumped into their bloodstream as they rushed ahead, cutting through the Sith and the thousands of droids marching right into them. This was going to be one hell of a fight.

Kisame pushed the stick forward, ducking the fighter down. Five vulture droids and Sith fighters sped past him, firing their laser bolts overhead. Turning the stick over, he barrel-rolled, dodging another fighter wing of vulture droids. Sweat pooled against his neck. Why is it taking so damn long to get to the hanger?! Kisame thought as he pushed the acceleration down.

The Red Cloud fighter craft shot forward with a great blast of fire coming from its engines. Kisame burst into laughter though as Samehada wrapped around the fighter giving him an extra edge. He rammed the craft through the first Sith small frigate and dug through the starboard side and exited through the port side, digging one of the largest holes he'd ever managed to make.

Samehada retracted giving Kisame a good look at his handiwork. With a small frown falling onto his blue face, he decided to give it another go and this time ram the bridge, along with all of the Zabrak commanders and captains. Samehada wrapped around the ship once again and the ship rushed forward, blaster bolts reflecting off of Samehada and the shields of the craft.

He could see small glimpses of the Zabrak commanders fleeing the bridge, but Kisame wasn't about to have any of that. He turned the joystick once more, this time aiming for the elevator that would lead down to the escape pods. His radar could see at least fifty Zabraks building up in that area trying to get to the elevators. The craft punched through the ship and tore through the Zabraks as they were pulled into the suffocating outer space. Blood sprayed against the sharp scales of Samehada.

Kisame continued and this time channeled double the amount of chakra and smashed through the rest of the ship. He turned around to see his slaughter. The ship was starting to split into thirds. He wanted to watch the Zabraks die out slowly, but of course Deidara had to come up with his own plans. Three damned dragons made of clay shot out of Deidara's craft and rammed the Sith ship with a head on broadside, ripping the ship apart.

The ship split completely, raining Zabraks and escape pods in all directions. Kisame sighed and felt that he had to deal with just hearing their screams than watching them. He rushed forward with Samehada spreading out forming wings made of the sharp shaving blades. Kisame piloted his craft with perfection slicing through the floating Zabraks and Nightsisters, leaving their blood to float in the gravity-less conditions of space.

The craft rushed ahead after killing as many survivors as he can, heading back into the main battle as fast as he can. The plan was simple; defeat as many of the Sith ships and Federation ships until the Republic fleet arrives to relieve them. The Red Clouds were then to descend onto Naboo and help the Jedi and Loyalists take back Theed and then the planet.

Kisame turned his attention to the first Federation starship he laid his eyes upon. Samehada could be heard shivering with delight. Both of them were expecting this to be one hell of a challenge. He launched forward plowing through the Federation defenses, but some of them did scratch and punch a few holes into his craft, but Kisame continued, digging through a few of the walls and in the end, smashing through the federation control sphere of the starship.

He continued flying through hoping to find the main power source of the ship and drove right for it, tearing holes through the walls and through the floors and into the rooms, killing Federation soldiers and droids. Walls were painted with blood of Neimoidians and the floors were littered with the various body parts of the droids that were dumb enough to try and shoot at him. After a few minutes of punching through their walls and floors and anything that made the ship structurally sound, Kisame pulled into a hard stop as the ships power core came into view.

"Let's do this!" Kisame roared into a half-manic laughter.

He shot forward, the craft ramming through the upper core, bringing the upper and the lower together. Kisame sped away, avoiding the blaster fire and bolts of lasers chasing after him. He barrel-rolled and evaded every attack sent his way. Finding that the holes he'd punched through the ship were uneven and didn't make a straight way out of the ship. Oh well. Kisame turned upwards and sped forward, tearing the metal, bending the floors and the walls. He smashed through anyone and anything that got in his way, killing more and more in his path.

Soon enough, the darkness of space greeted him, just before the Federation starship went up in flames as a great explosion shook the cockpit of his craft. There were now only three Federation ships remaining out of the original five. Sith ships were smashed and battered beyond belief, but the Red Clouds and the Jedi were down to only eight ships to keep on fighting with. This wasn't a good situation to be in for them.

"They're here, un!" Deidara cheered through the connection.

To the far side of the Sith's fleet, thirty Republic frigates jumped out of hyperspace, releasing a storm of fighters and bombers. The ships let loose the largest continuous barrage of laser bolts and rockets that Kisame had ever seen in his life. Three Sith ships were destroyed almost immediately and the rest tried their best to return fire, despite still having the advantage of numbers.

"They did it!" Kisame cheered and pressed hard on the joystick. "They finally arrived to the palace!"

From the surface of Naboo, five hundred Naboo fighter craft rose into the battle, attacking the Federation and Sith fleets from the rear flank, catching them off guard. The Naboo fighters were sleek, fast and hard to catch, especially with more than half of their fighters already engaging the Republic fleet, the Jedi fleet and the Red Clouds. Things weren't going to get any better for them, especially if the Zabraks sensed it correctly.

Anakin Skywalker was there with them.

"Naruto." Qui-Gon said with a worried tone. "Go with Padmé and take the Throne Room. Obi-wan and I will handle this."

"No, Master Qui-Gon, I can help!" Naruto pleaded.

"Just give me the boy and his brother, and we'll leave Naboo immediately." Darth Maul smirked.

All around him, there were about twelve massive Zabrak Nightbrothers. They stood almost seven feet and had a lightsaber pike in their hands, each blaring with a blood-red blade. They all had the same sickening look on their face that spelled the dying urge to murder and slaughter. Their eyes were corrupted by the Dark Side of the force, glowing with a yellow-red tint.

"Naruto, just listen to me." Qui-Gon pleaded. "There are too many of them-"

"Then let's even the odds!" Naruto roared and threw his hands together into a cross hand seal. "TAJUU KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU!"

One hundred shadow clones appeared after the cloud of smoke disappeared. Each one reached over their waists and drew out their blue lightsabers. Qui-Gon's jaw dropped and Obi-wan nearly fainted. The Zabrak Nightbrothers nearly backed away and Darth Maul felt his heart race. This wasn't supposed to happen. This wasn't supposed to be the way it was to go. It mattered not. This was simply a little setback that won't affect them in any way whatsoever.

"Kill the Jedi, take the boy." Darth Maul ordered. "I'll be waiting…with his mother!"

"YOU ASSHOLE!" Naruto roared and rushed ahead of the two season Jedi knights and clashed his lightsabers against those of the twelve Nightbrothers with Darth Maul.

They all believed that the lightsabers were fake and just images, but they ended up being as real as can be. They ducked as the swords came rushing in like a storm of blades. Naruto turned to Qui-Gon and Obi-wan motioning for them to chase after Darth Maul. Padmé had her mission, Aayla had her mission, the Red Clouds had their mission and they had their mission; free Theed; fight the Droids in the Grassy Plains; fight the fleets in space; save Shmi Skywalker.

Each one was important, but to Naruto, only one mattered. His mother was in danger and she was just meters away. He needed to see her; he needed to save her. The largest of the Zabrak Nightbrothers swung down on two of his clones, popping them away, leaving him open for an attack. Naruto rushed forward and dug his lightsaber into the throat of the Zabrak, bringing him to the ground. The boy was in a near blood rage and smashed his fist against the face of the Nightbrother, forcing him into a wall behind.

Naruto jumped back and let his clones swarm the Nightbrothers so he can follow after Obi-wan and Qui-Gon. The blond rushed forward, chakra burning in his legs. Suddenly, two droids appeared from behind two large reactors. Naruto threw the lightsaber forward, removing their heads from their bodies. The blond looked around, blood pumping and heart racing, he channeled chakra to his feet and shot up into the air, landing on a catwalk, easily two hundred feet into the air and arrived with a perfect landing.

He turned his attention to the two seasoned Jedi fighting against four different Nightbrothers that were seemingly successfully beating the Jedi into submission. There were too many for just two men to fight against. Naruto could see Darth Maul already jumping higher and higher, watching with interest of the two Jedi knights and their skill to fight against large numbers. The blond shook his head and rushed to join the fight, slicing to his right, removing the leg from one of the Nightbrothers, bringing him to fall over off the platform and to his death below.

Naruto channeled his chakra to his palm and exploded forward, ramming the ball of chakra into the face of the Zabrak, sending him down as well, with a ball of volatile chakra, ripping his face apart. The last two Zabraks took off running but Naruto wasn't going to have any of that. He hurled his lightsaber towards one running away to his right and hurled a cortosis kunai towards the other on his left. Both died immediately, leaving Naruto to use the force to pull both weapons back to him.

"I told you that I can fight, Master Qui-Gon." Naruto nodded.

"I will only say this one more time; go back and stay back, Naruto." Qui-Gon sighed before jumping up to join his ever excited Padawan, Obi-wan. Zabrak's were filing through some of the rooms and onto the catwalks above, trying their best to defeat the two Jedi, but to no avail. Naruto could sense Zabrak's dying left and right, but he could also sense Darth Maul simply waiting in a room on the far side of the catwalk. Naruto channeled as much chakra as he could and jumped up into the air, chakra radiating off of his legs.

He was cutting it close. He could sense his mother just down the catwalk. He can sense it.

Itachi followed closely behind Padmé; making sure that no harm would come to the Queen. His sharingan watched with a weary look; corners, walls and even the ceiling was checked. They were trying their best to avoid any heavy battles and action. Itachi drew out a handful of shuriken and kunai, curving them in mid-air, sending them at lightning fast speeds.

Zabraks fell dead with multiple projectiles lodged into their bodies. He smirked and charged ahead sending a few fireballs down the hall, incinerating the battle droids watching out for them. Some of the pillars exploded thanks to some of the exploding phoenix fire flowers. Two Zabraks rushed in from the sides with their lightsabers drawn and swung left and right trying to catch Itachi, but thanks to the Sharingan, Itachi disarmed the Zabraks.

Within a few seconds, the two lightsabers were in his hands. A sudden cyclone of nothing but red light, Itachi diced the two Zabraks, leaving their body parts to collapse onto the tiled floor below. Another two arrived and Itachi hurled the two swords like kunai, digging the blades through the Zabraks. He turned towards the first window he saw and hurled a kunai laced with an explosive tag. The glass of course shattered, and with a great beautiful blast of fire and smoke, the way was made.

Padmé rushed towards the window with a small group of palace guards and loyalists right behind her, leaving Itachi and a few Red Clouds to follow after him. Itachi could easily remember that there was a hanger nearby. It was a clearly good idea to head back up to space with his comrades. The remaining forces rushed forward, their boots clacking against the polished marble tiles. Itachi slammed his back against the first wall he laid eyes upon and used the force to pull a blaster to his hands.

Watching the corners for incoming enemies, Itachi eyed a lone Zabrak brute charging in, completely disoriented. Itachi rushed forward and put a bolt in between the Zabraks eyes, killing him instantly. Itachi hurled the blaster into a droids face, breaking the robots balance. He took full advantage of the immobility and drew his lightsaber once again and sliced the damned robot in half, sending their two parts in different directions. Itachi made a quick movement of his hands and they all took off towards the hanger bay.

Two Zabraks rounded the corner wearing battle armor and both held blaster rifles. Itachi reacted faster than anyone had ever seen him do. He pulled a blaster pistol and put six bolts in each Zabrak before they hobbled over and died. Itachi continued forward after pistol whipping another Zabrak. With the Zabrak on the ground, crawling away, the Uchiha put a bolt through the back of his neck, killing the Zabrak.

With the force building up in his hands, he reached out and sent almost ten Zabraks towards the wall, crushing them under the sheer pressure. Itachi hurled their dead bodies out of the hanger's exit. Their bodies turned smaller and smaller as the seconds passed. Itachi made a quick movement of his hands and the Red Clouds rushed to the first ships they laid their eyes upon.

The pilots sped out as fast as possible to join Anakin and the rest of the Naboo Royal fighter corps. Itachi scrambled for a fighter and sped through the controls like he already had it memorized. The ships engines ignited bringing his craft to float. Carefully brining the craft forward, the fighter hovered forward and quickly turned towards the exit and sped out.

The light was coming brightly, but his craft shook, bringing his face to the blast glass. Itachi groaned in pain and rubbed his face. He watched the controls with a look of disgust. A Federation tank had blasted one of his engines. He watched as the rest of his forces ascended through the atmosphere of Naboo towards the battle that he was intending to join with every ounce of his soul. He didn't want to be on the surface anymore.

But with his engine already giving up on him, Itachi knew that he wouldn't be able to make it through the stratosphere without losing half of his fighter. He decided to ram it into the droid army on the Grassy Plains. He pushed forward on the stick, using the last of the energy that his fighter had left, and hurried towards the Grassy Plains

Smoke poured from his right engine. He struggled to keep the ship steady. He tried to keep the stick steady, but it kept shaking against his will. He fought back against the resistance, but the joystick slipped from his bare hands. At least the battle of the Grassy Plains was coming into view. It seemed that the Droids and the Sith managed to overwhelm the Jedi and the Gungans. Itachi did the only thing he could think to do and let the joystick point down, bringing the craft down onto the center of the Droid army.

He pulled on the escape lever, launching him high into the air while his fighter rammed into the ground, tearing through the dirt and the droids and their tanks. Fire covered the battlefield and the screams of dying Zabraks filled Itachi's booming ears. He landed on the back of a droid and channeled his chakra before punching the head from the droids body.

He quickly turned, getting into the famous stance of the Uchiha Clan's intercepting fist. A droid pointed its gun at him, but he quickly grabbed the barrel of the gun and pulled the weapon from the droids hand, pointing the barrel at its previous owner. Itachi smirked and pulled the trigger, blasting a hole into the droids tiny head. Itachi spun around, chakra burning from the tip of his kunai, elongating the knife to a full blown energy sword

He finished off the droids that decided to attack him. He turned as fast as he could though. Aayla was in trouble. The only damage she managed to cause to the Zabrak brute she was fighting was removing one of his arms. Now she was handling three Zabrak brutes along with her original target as the fourth. Itachi spun and hurled his kunai towards one of the Zabrak brutes, removing his head immediately, thanks to the chakra burning off of the blade.

Itachi sped through hand seals and focused his sharingan on one of the brutes and kawarimi'd with the brute, giving Aayla some breathing room. Her blue face turned a small hint of red as she watched Itachi dispose of the remaining Zabrak brutes while the original target fled from the scene. She was backing away to help join in on the fight, but she slipped.

Itachi shot forward and wrapped his arms around her, catching her fall. Her blue eyes locked with his dark, blood-red sharingan irides. Itachi felt something beat within his heart and he could feel her heart race at their proximity.

"Erm…" Aayla stammered.

"You're welcome."

Naruto could sense that the droid control ship was down. It also helped that the droids pouring their blaster bolts down onto him had fallen down from their high catwalk, without any life in their limp bodies. The blond sighed in relief and activated his lightsaber again and jumped as high as he could to join Qui-Gon and Obi-wan on their fight with the Sith Lord. Naruto had to hurry. As far as he could tell, there was a long hall made from ray shields that was separating Obi-wan from joining Qui-Gon in his fight against Darth Maul.

Naruto froze though. On the far side of the wall, Shmi was hanging by rope over what seemed to be a long pit. The blond rushed ahead to reach the scene. He needed to reach his mother in time. He could already hear the midichlorians within him whispering. If he remembered correctly, midichlorians could be heard the loudest at the birth of a force sensitive and at the…death of one. And they were being exceptionally loud at this moment.

Naruto rushed ahead but stopped immediately at the first ray shield. He could see Obi-wan watching with fear of what was to come. Qui-Gon kept his stance against the double-blade wielding Sith Lord. Qui-Gon ducked and kicked Maul in his knee, forcing him back. Maul swung for Qui-Gon's neck, but the Jedi ducked again and stayed down as the other blade launched around ready for another strike. Darth Maul suddenly pulled Qui-Gon in with a force pull and dug his lightsaber into Qui-Gon's chest.

NO! Naruto could faintly hear Obi-wan's cry of despair. The Padawan was giving off a dangerous aura of evil. Darth Maul simply smiled at the Padawan and kept his lightsaber ready. Soon enough the shields were shut off. Obi-wan jumped into action, swinging wildly, blinded by anger. Sure he managed to land at least fifteen good hits against his sabers, Obi-wan was cutting it close to death and it was starting to scare him.

From down the hall of Ray shields, he could easily see Naruto making his way towards them, his lightsaber drawn and two clones on either side of him. Their lightsabers glowed with a malicious tint. Naruto ran as fast as he could, even with chakra flowing into his veins, but for some strange reason, the hall was ridiculous in size and seemed to extend forever. By the time Naruto arrived at the battlefield, the ray shield went on once again. His two clones stood too close to the ray shields path, dispelling the both of them immediately.

Naruto watched as Obi-wan held his own against the Sith Lord. Obi-wan though, was suddenly punched across the face and sent flying into a wall on the far side. Obi-wan struggled to stay awake. He was fine, Naruto could sense it, but he was definitely going to be in pain later on. The Sith Lord turned to Naruto with a malicious smirk and pointed his lightsaber at the Ray shield, blocking Naruto from saving his mother.

Shmi could be seen shaking and shivering in fear. She pulled at the ropes and the binds to no avail. She gave Naruto a look that said to run away, but Naruto wasn't intending to leave without her. He jumped back and forth on the balls of his heels ready to fight the man who kidnapped his mother to use as a bargaining chip.

"You know…" Darth Maul began. "I was never intending to keep my promise."

"What?!" Naruto roared, fearing for his mother's life. "Hey! What the hell are you doing?! Stop that!"

Darth Maul sliced the binds holding Shmi and used the force to bring her towards him. He turned to Naruto and activated only one blade on his lightsaber.

"Please!" Naruto fell to his knees. "Why are you doing this?!"

"Join the Dark Side, Naruto Skywalker!" Darth Maul cried it out like a ritual.

He swung towards his left, bisecting the woman, sending her lower half down into the pit, while Darth Maul brought her torso over and removed her head.

N-No…M-Mother… Naruto's eyes were as wide as plates. Mother…

Kill them… Naruto felt the urge from within. Kill those who took away what was precious. Kill him.

Suddenly, blood-red chakra shot from Naruto's body, crushing through the ray shields and crashing through the walls, revealing a blood-red eyed Naruto with slitted pupils. Naruto shot ahead at a speed that Darth Maul had never seen or experienced in his life. Naruto rammed his head into Maul's chest, forcing him into the wall behind them and began to punch his face.

Soon enough, Naruto had the Sith Lord where he wanted him to be. The boy channeled chakra into his fist and rammed his knuckles into Darth Maul's cheek, launching all of his teeth from their sockets and onto the steel floor under him. Naruto then raised his hands to Darth Maul's face and dug his thumb nails into Maul's eyes.

He screamed and wailed at the sudden pain. Naruto wrapped his fingers around Maul's temples and began to squeeze. Maul shot his hands around, but two tails shot out from behind Naruto made up of a bubbly, blood-red chakra and held Maul's hands down against the floor.

"YOU KILLED MY BROTHER! YOU KILLED MY MASTER! YOU MURDERED MY MOTHER!" Naruto roared at the top of his lungs.

He continued to dig his thumbs into Maul's eye sockets, drawing blood all over his face, forming a small puddle beneath the Zabrak's head. Naruto continued to squeeze. Blood was clearly coming from Maul's ears.

"YOU'RE NOTHING BUT AN INSECT." Naruto said in a very nostalgic way. "SO I SHALL SQUASH YOU LIKE ONE!"

Naruto channeled all of the chakra he had left and clasped the Zabrak's head. He could already feel the skull crack beneath his grip. Maul continued to scream, but soon enough, Darth Maul's head exploded, showing Naruto with his Zabrak blood and soaking the walls and floor with brain matter. Naruto, in a rage, picked the dead Sith Lord and tossed his corpse over into the pit.

He collapsed onto his knees, covered in the blood of his enemy and released a powerful howl. Suddenly, the tails came to his face and formed three little fingers with long fingernails. Naruto didn't fight back and let the tails do what they want.

He gritted his teeth as he fought back his screams. The fingernails felt like blades digging into his face. Each one making permanent marks on his cheeks. There were three marks on each side of his face, deeply resembling a fox by the end. Blood poured down his cheeks as the Kyuubi's chakra finally disappeared. The boy struggled to keep awake.

But then he saw her. She was beautiful and was the most perfect brunette he'd ever seen in his life. He could see her running towards him with a worried look on her face.

Padmé…
