Chapter 11 The Babies Come and Malfoy Manor
Jessica sighed as she shut her diary. That prophecy was haunting her again. Hermione has to stab Hufflepuff's cup, if they ever find it. And she and Josh had to destroy something each as well. Resting her hand on her eight month belly, Jessica looked around as she laid in the bed. The last few months had been the five teens hiding in the Forest of Dean. Luna was missing, as was Dean Thomas, and no one knew if they were dead or alive.
Josh entered the bedroom with a tray of food in his hands.
"Hey, you hungry?" Josh asked.
"Yes," drooled Jessica, placing the diary back in her rucksack. Josh smiled with a laugh and set the tray down on the bed. He placed a kiss to Jessica's large belly.
"How are you feeling?" Josh asked.
"Like a whale," scowled Jessica. "I wish we can do something, it's been months. How's Hermione feeling?"
Hermione seemed to be getting closer to her due date. She slept a lot and was a big larger than Jessica was. Harry was concerned that something could be seriously wrong with Baby James, like an umbilical cord around the neck or him being born breeched. The five were taking every precaution and made the girls stay in bed unless they needed to relieve themselves.
"Harry thinks she could go into labor any minute," said Josh. "Hermione said we're close to Yorkley. There's a health center there that you two could have the babies at." Jessica shook her head negatively in response.
"No, it's not safe to go that far," said Jessica. She could feel her bladder squeezing and she groaned, moving the tray.
"Help me up," said Jessica to Josh, holding out her hands. "Your daughter is using my bladder as a squeeze toy again..."
Josh laughed and helped her up and into the bathroom. When they came out, Harry, Ron, and surprisingly Hermione were sitting at the table in the kitchen area.
"You're up!" said Jessica excitedly to Hermione.
"So are you, I see," said Hermione.
"Had to use the loo," replied Jessica. "How are you feeling?"
"Better," replied Hermione. "I think we need to move on, get somewhere a bit more safer."
"I agree, but you guys are so close to delivering, why risk it? Couldn't we wait until after the babies are born?" asked Ron.
"Ron, I don't think Vol-"
"NO! Don't say it! It's taboo!" replied Ron. "You-Know-Who's name is taboo! They'll find us!"
"What?" replied Jessica. "Why didn't you tell us?"
"I assumed you all knew because you've been saying You-Know-Who," said Ron. If someone says you-know-what, snatchers or death eaters appear to capture and possibly kill you. That's how I narrowly escaped those snatchers."
"We have to move," said Jessica. "Tonight."
"But where do we go?" asked Harry.
"We'll head towards Yorkley," said Jessica. "See if we can find a taxi somewhere. I still have a lot of muggle money left."
"There's a main road not too far away," said Hermione. "Let's pack up and get moving."
The five were walking through the woods a little while later to find the main road and possibly civilization . The two very pregnant women were walking slowly with Harry, Josh and Ron walking alongside them to make sure they were not going to fall or worse, go into labor.
They came to the main road and saw the outskirts of Yorkley just down the road. They started walking down the side of the road, walking through the grass as cars drove past them on the road. They were surprised when someone honked their horn at them and came to a stop. A late middle-aged man, in his sixties somewhere, and his mousy-haired wife peered out the window of their SUV.
"You kids need a lift?" asked the man. "We're heading to Yorkley."
"That would be great, thank you," said Jessica. The others nodded at each other to not mention anything to the two and they climbed into the SUV.
"You dearies look exhausted," said the woman to Hermione and Jessica. "How far along are you two?"
"Eight and a half months each," replied Hermione.
"Oh my, you're due any day now, aren't you?" the man asked as he drove towards town. "You kids aren't from around here, are you."
"Er, no sir, just passing through," replied Josh. "We really can't go into detail about it."
"Ah, understood," said the man. "My wife here and I were like you two once, young and on our own. Our kids are grown up now. We were your age when we had our first. We haven't seen him, his wife or our grandson in seventeen years though."
"How come?" asked Hermione.
"Er, they were part of a political group and had to go into hiding," the man said. "Our grandson would be your age, we'd guess."
"Speaking of kids..." muttered Jessica. "I think my water just broke."
The four other teens looked at Jessica and the puddle at her feet in horror.
"Alright sweetheart, hang on, we'll take you to the medical centre," said the woman. Jessica started to breathe deeply as a contraction hit. Josh and Hermione were holding her hands and Harry and Ron were looking at each other in panic. The man pulled up the Yorkley Health Centre and came to a stop in front of the emergency room. Harry jumped out and found a wheelchair for Jessica as Josh helped her into it.
"I'm so sorry about your backseat," said Jessica, wincing as another contraction hit.
"That's alright dear, it can be replaced," said the man as they followed the group into the hospital.
"Excuse me, my wife is in labor," Josh said to the nurse. He came up with a quick lie to try and buy them some help. "We don't have insurance but we were on our way to our midwife and..."
"No problem dearie, let's get you into a room," said the nurse. An orderly and the nurse led the group to the maternity ward.
"Thank you again," said Harry to the man and woman who had driven them. "By the way, we never got your names."
"Oh, we are Michael and Daisy Farnham," said Michael. "Senior that is." Josh's head snapped up in horror as did the others.
"Did you say Farnham?" he replied, looking like he had seen a ghost.
"Yes, you know that surname?" asked Daisy.
"This is going to be a shock to you, but if you're who I think you are, then you're my paternal grandparents," replied Josh. Daisy gasped as Michael Senior placed a hand on his heart.
"Joshua?" asked Daisy. "You're our grandson?"
"Joshua Michael Farnham, son of Michael and Christina Farnham," replied Josh, coming up to Daisy and Michael Sr. Daisy sobbed and took Josh into a rather large hug.
"It is you! Oh Josh we thought we would never see you again!" sobbed Daisy.
"This is nutters," muttered Ron as he watched the three reunite.
"Granddad, Nana, we're on the run from You-Know-Who," said Josh. "Allow me to introduce you to Harry and Hermione Potter, Ron Weasley, and the love of my life, Jessica Black-Farnham."
"Harry Potter," whispered Michael Sr. as he stared at Harry. "Bless my word. It's an honor, Mr. Potter." He shook Harry's hand.
"So he's back then is he?" asked Daisy. "We left the wizarding world years ago after your parents died and Michael Jr. and Christina went into hiding. We still practice magic though."
Harry nodded.
"And Dumbledore gave us a job to do and we're going to finish him off," added Jessica from her hospital bed as she breathed through a contraction. Just then, a doctor poked her head in.
"Hello, my goodness you have an entourage, don't you?" she asked Jessica. Jessica smiled weakly and the doctor noticed Hermione sitting in the rocking chair.
"Are far along are you, young lady?" the doctor asked Hermione.
"About the same as Jessica, I'm due soon as well," she replied.
"Any back pain at all today?" the doctor asked.
"A little bit," replied Hermione.
"That could be a sign of early labor," replied the doctor. "After I finished examining your friend here, why don't you let me have a look?"
"Okay, I won't argue with that," replied Hermione. The doctor nodded and went to examine Jessica.
"Well Jessica, you're nine centimeters," said the doctor. "I reckon you will be pushing here in a few minutes." She turned to Hermione after she changed her gloves.
"Let's have a look with you, shall we?" She checked Hermione's cervix and smiled at Hermione.
"You're nine centimeters as well," replied the doctor to gasps from everyone. "Looks like you were in labor all day too then. Let's get a bed for you."
"Can she stay in here please?" asked Jessica. "She's my, er, sister-in-law." That was partially both a lie and the truth as they were really cousins by marriage through Harry, but Harry was practically Jessica's brother.
"I think we can arrange that," smiled the doctor.
"Oh I think she's coming," said Jessica. "I need to push!"
"Alright, let's have a look," said the doctor.
"Me as well," said Hermione with a groan.
"Okay, both of you each push when you feel like you need to," said the doctor as she checked Jessica and saw that she was starting to crown.
"Take care of Hermione," Jessica said to the doctor. "I can do this by myself."
As the doctor tended to Hermione, Jessica groaned as she caught her daughter's head. Josh stood next to her awe as he watched his wife give birth to their first, but hopefully not last, child.
Ron was caught between a look of awe and horror on his face as he witnessed two miracles of life occur, while Michael and Daisy marveled at the birth of their first great-grandchild.
"That's it Hermione, push!" the doctor was saying as Hermione squatted, Harry holding her up. Harry was in awe at how strong and courageous his wife and sister were.
As the shoulders delivered, Jessica lifted her daughter up onto her chest and the newborn baby girl let out a cough and a cry with a shiver.
"Hi sweetie, oh you are beautiful," Jessica said as the baby gave a good cry. She noted the time was 11:57 A.M. Josh started crying a bit and leaned over and kissed his wife and his new daughter.
"There's are blankets in the top drawer behind you Josh," the doctor said. "Okay Hermione, one more good push!" As Josh pulled out a pink and a blue newborn blanket for Jessica and Hermione, another loud wail came from behind him.
"Good girl! Well done! Hello there handsome! My, what a pair of lungs," said the doctor as she clamped baby James' umbilical cord. Hermione sat back in the rocking chair and the doctor placed her son into his mother's waiting arms. Harry's jaw dropped and he leaned down and kissed hermione. James Sirius Potter had been born two minutes after his cousin, Abigail Daisy Farnham, at 11:59 A.M. Josh handed Hermione the blue blanket for James, and then placed the pink blanket over his daughter. The doctor then came over and clamped the baby girl's umbilical cord and handed Josh and Harry a pair of scissors each.
"Right in between the two clamps, you two," said the doctor. The two boys cut their children's umbilical cords and handed the scissors back to the doctor.
"Okay, let me deliver your placentas Jessica and Hermione and then we'll get you cleaned up," said the doctor.
"That was the most incredible thing I have ever witnessed," said a still-in-shock Ron a little while later after the doctor had cleaned the girls up and left.
"It certainly was," agreed Jessica as the boys just stared in awe at the new arrivals.
"What do we do now?" asked Harry.
"We need to modify the memories of the doctor and nurses and get out of here," replied Jessica. "We're putting everyone here in danger."
"If we can do anything to help, let us know kids," said Michael Sr.
"We need to get somewhere safe to hide," replied Ron. "You-Know-Who could have spies all over the country."
"We'll take you to our place," replied Daisy. "It's a small farm, but it's secluded in the forest and has multiple charms around it."
"Hermione, obliviate and make the nurses and the doctor on this floor act like they forgot to do something important," said Jessica as the guys packed up belongings.
"I'll do it," said Daisy, pulling her wand out from her pocket as the four teens removed all of the hospital bracelets.
"I'll keep watch," said Michael as the four teens prepared to sneak out of the hospital. Daisy pointed her wand at the doctor and nurses at the nurse's station.
"Obliviate," whispered Daisy. "Confundo."
Any trace of James and Abby's births, or that the Potters and Farnhams had been there disappeared from both the doctor and nurses' minds and the dry erase board by the nurse's station. They continued about their daily work while the five teens, the elder Farnhams, and the two babies quietly snuck out a back door of the medical center.
"We don't have car seats or anything for them," said Hermione as the nine got to the elder Farnhams' SUV in the parking queue.
"No problem, I'll just transfigure these two books into car seats for now," said Michael, pulling two books from the backseat out. He waved his wand and two car seats magically appeared in place of the two books. He strapped the seats into the car and he showed the girls how to strap the infants in.
A few minutes later, the group was headed back down the road in the direction they originally had come from. An hour or so down the road, Michael pulled up a long dirt road to a small farm. It was a quaint little house with a red barn and several horses out to pasture.
"It's beautiful," gushed Hermione. "I haven't ridden a real horse in years. And the thestrals don't count, Ron."
"Let's get you settled inside and get some food in those bellies," said Daisy.
Josh stood outside his grandparents' home, looking at the horses as he leaned up against the fence.
"You alright Josh?" came his grandfather's voice.
"Yeah Granddad, just doing some thinking," said Josh.
"It's a lot to take in, being a dad, isn't it?" asked Michael.
"Yeah, even Jessica and Hermione's pregnancies were a shock. We only had found out on Christmas Day," said Josh. "They could have gone all term without knowing they were pregnant. We're just lucky that Bathilda Bagshot made mention when we were in Godric's Hallow."
"You were there? You saw Bathilda?" asked Michael. Josh nodded.
"She told us about the Deathly Hallows, are you aware of them?" asked Josh. Michael nodded.
"I've heard the stories yes," said Michael. "So they do exist?"
"Yes, Harry owns one," said Josh. "The Cloak. Dumbledore is buried with the Elder Wand and the stone is missing. We think it might be hidden in Harry's golden snitch but we can't open it."
"Your grandmother and I were discussing this with Hermione and Harry, and if it's all right with you and Jessica, we want to temporarily take care of Abby and James while you five fight You-Know-Who," said Michael. "A war is no place for a baby."
"I had a feeling you would say that," said Josh. "What did Harry and Hermione say?"
"I wish they would have said 'Yes", but they declined, saying that James would be safer with them," said Michael.
"Then my answer is no as well," said Josh. "Granddad, Jess would be too heartbroken if Abby stayed here. She was only just born and I think Jess would emotionally derive from that."
Michael nodded and put a hand on his grandson's shoulder.
"I'm very proud of you Josh," Michael said. "You've been through a lot, and you have a lot of courage."
"Boys!" came Daisy's voice from the porch. "Dinner!"
"Ooh, I hope she cooked steak," drooled Josh as the two hurried back to the house.
"You lot sure about this?" asked Daisy as the five teens loaded up their belongings a few days later. Hermione and Jessica were strapping James and Abby into the soft infant carriers on their chests that Daisy had gone into town and purchased.
"Yes Ma'am," said Harry. "We have to leave."
"You can always change your minds about the babies," replied Michael.
"The babies are too young to be left here," replied Jessica, "not to mention we've been breastfeeding them. It would confuse them if they switched to bottles and formula."
"Well here, take this then, just in case," said Michael, holding his hand out to Josh.
"What is it?" asked Josh.
"It's a two-way mirror," replied Michael. "It was your father's when he lived here. He, James Potter and Sirius Black used them at Hogwarts."
"They never mentioned that!" said Harry with a bit of surprise on his face. "You mean they knew each other at Hogwarts too?"
"Yes, they were all friends before you were born," said Michael. "And then they all went into hiding at Godric's Hallow but that was the last that we had seen them all."
"Blimey," said Ron. "Where are the other ones then?"
"I would reckon Arabella has Sirius' still," said Michael. "As for James' mirror, it's probably long gone."
"Actually, I had my dad's mirror, but it shattered," said Harry, holding the shard up that he had procured from his sock.
"Thanks again for everything," said Jessica.
"We'll be in touch," said Daisy with a wave. The five teens took a hold of each other, Hermione and Jessica using one hand to support their children, and the five were gone with a "POP!"
"I do hope they'll be alright," murmured Daisy. Michael put his arm around her and rested his head on hers.
"They'll be alright, I know they will," said Michael. "Give him hell, Kids."
The five teens appeared in another remote forest. After checking to make sure the babies hadn't been splinched(which they hadn't), the five were about to start setting up camp when Jessica froze in horror. In front of the five teens and two infants stood a group of men, brandishing their wands.
"Well well," said one of the men, whom Harry assumed was the leader of the group. "What do we have here?" Jessica and Hermione froze in horror, clutching the babies to their chests in fear.
"Search them, take their wands," said the leader. The group of snatchers obliged.
"Don't hurt the women or babies," growled Ron as one of the snatchers took his wand.
"No worries," said the leader. Ron recognized him finally as Scabior. He'd seen him in the pub. The leader got a good look at Harry.
"Hold on, we're not taking this lot to the ministry," said Scabior. He gently pushed Harry's bangs back to reveal the scar.
The snatchers led the five teens and two babies up a dark pathway to a large gated mansion. Jessica recognized it as Malfoy Manor. Standing at the gate to greet the snatchers and their group of hostages was Bellatrix Lestrange.
"Well well, what do we have here?" asked Bellatrix with an evil grin. "Looks like the mudblood and blood traitor have been busy girls." Her eyes trailed to the sleeping infants in the soft carriers. "Bring them all inside."
The group was led inside and into the Malfoy's sitting room, where Draco, Narcissa and Lucius stood with Pettigrew. Narcissa's and Draco's eyes widened at the sight of the group and two new additions.
"We found them with this," said one of the snatchers, holding up the sword that he had found while digging through Hermione's beaded bag.
"Put the boys and babies in the cellar," snapped Bellatrix. "The ladies and I need to have a little chat."
"Aunt Cissy, please," pleaded Jessica as she met Narcissa's eyes in fear.
"Bella, no," replied Narcissa. "Not this time."
"You have sympathy for a blood traitor?" sneered Bellatrix. "Don't tell me you do too, Draco. Lucius, your wife and son are traitor lovers."
"They're only four days old," pleaded Jessica as Josh and Harry took the babies from the girls.
"Put them in the cellar," repeated Bellatrix. Pettigrew led the three boys and the infants down to the cellar below and shoved them in, locking the gate behind them.
"Harry? Ron? Josh? Is that you?" came a male voice. Ron used the deluminator and lit up a light.
"Dean!" cried Harry! "Is that you?"
"Yeah mate," said Dean as he, Ollivander, Griphook and Luna came into view as well.
"Luna," breathed Ron with a sigh of relief. He rushed to his girlfriend and kissed the life out of her. "Are you alright, did they hurt you?"
"No, I'm fine," replied Luna.
"Babies?" Dean asked as he saw the now awake infants in Josh and Harry's arms. "Hermione and Jess had babies?"
"Yeah, they're four days old," replied Josh. "This is Abigail Daisy Farnham and that is James Sirius Potter."
"Bloody hell," replied Dean. They heard two loud screams come from upstairs.
"No, no!" cried Harry. James started to cry at the sudden outburst. "Sorry buddy, shhh. Daddy's got you."
"We need to get the girls and get out of here," said Ron.
"There's no way out," said Ollivander. "The cellar is escape proof."
"TELL ME WHERE YOU GOT THE SWORD?" yelled Bellatrix's voice from up above.
"We found it," stated Hermione's voice. "We found it—PLEASE!"
"She states the truth!' cried Jessica's voice.
"You're lying, you filthy blood traitor, and I know it!" came Bellatrix's voice. "You've been in my vault at Gringotts! Tell the truth, tell the truth!"
Another terrible scream from Jessica–
"JESS!"
"What else did you take? What else have you got? Tell me the truth or I swear, I shall run you through with this knife!"
Hermione was screaming again. The sound went through Harry like physical pain. Barely conscious of the prickling of his scar, he too, started to walk briskly around the cellar, James in his arms crying at his mother's and aunt's screams. Abby was crying as well.
Harry pulled the mirror shard of back out and saw Dumbledore's eye in it.
"Help us! We had the babies and we're trapped in the cellar of Malfoy Manor! Help us!"
The eye blinked and was gone. Upstairs, Jessica and Hermione were screaming again and the babies let out another wail in their fathers' arms.
"Draco! Go shut up those noisy wailing brats and bring me the goblin! He can tell us if this sword is real."
"Griphook, you must tell them the sword is fake," Harry whispered in the goblin's pointed ear. "They mustn't know it's real. Griphook please."
He could hear someone scuttling down the cellar steps; next moment, Draco's shaking voice spoke.
"Harry, Ron, Josh," whispered Draco, "don't worry, Mother and I will help you. We were Imperioed last year. It only just wore off when you lot arrived. Aunt Bellatrix's torturing the girls, and we're going to stop her. Griphook, come on, I won't hurt you."
There was a click of the door and it opened.
"How do I believe you?" Harry asked Draco as he came in and led Griphook out.
"Because I won't hurt my family," said Draco. "You guys are my family and my friends." Harry nodded and as they disappeared, there was a "POP!"
"Harry Potter!" cried Dobby in a whisper as the elf stood in front of the group.
"Dobby!" whispered Harry. "You can apparate in and out of here?"
"Of course, I'm an elf!" replied Dobby. "Dobby has come to rescue Harry Potter, his Grangy and friends!"
"Take Luna, Dean, Ollivander and the babies," started Harry as he and Josh each handed a baby and their carrier to Luna and Dean. "Take them to—take them to..."
"Bill and Fleur's. Shell Cottage, on the outskirts of Tinsworth," finished Ron.
The elf nodded.
"And then come back," said Harry. "Can you do that?"
"Ready when you are Sir," replied Luna, as she cradled Abby in one arm and held her other arm out to Dobby.
"Sir? Oh I like her," said Dobby. "Meet me at the top of the stairs in thirty seconds."
"We'll see you at Bill and Fleur's," Dean said as he and Ollivander took Dobby's hands. James was balanced in the carrier. There was a loud "CRACK" and Lucius Malfoy's voice could be heard.
"What was that? Pettigrew! Go check!' Footsteps crossed the room overhead and then there was silence. Harry knew that the people in the sitting room were listening for more noises in the cellar. They heard the footsteps of Wormtail descending down the cellar stairs. Ron drew the light back into his deluminator and the three boys hid against the wall next to the cellar door. They heard the door unlock and squeak open and then a "POP!" and an "Ow" from Wormtail, before he fell face forward with a soft thud. The three boys took the wands that Wormtail had on him and looked up to see Dobby at the top of the stairs.
"Come on, let's go save the girls," said Josh. The three quietly snuck up the stairs and crouched down at the sight in front of them. Hermione and Jessica laid unconscious on the floor, and Griphook sat in front of Bellatrix. Draco and Narcissa were kneeling next to Hermione and Jessica. Draco turned his head to the right and his eyes met Harry's. The two shared a knowing glance and Draco pulled his wand out of his pocket.
"STUPEFY!" Draco stunned his father and the other three boys charged up the steps as Narcissa dragged Hermione safely out of the way.
"Drop your wands or the girl gets it!" Bellatrix cried as she held a knife to Jessica's throat. Lucius was still unconscious but Bellatrix was outnumbered five to one.
"You would turn your back on your own flesh and blood Cissy?" Bellatrix sneered as Narcissa and Draco pointed their wands at Bellatrix's face.
"We're done with you Bella," replied Draco. "Let her go or else."
"Or else?" replied Bellatrix as she started to push the knife in. Beads of blood started to appear on Jessica's neck. Before Bella could go further, the group heard a squeaking of a screw being turned and they looked up to see Dobby unfastening the chandelier. As it started to fall, Bellatrix dropped Jessica to run away and Draco grabbed Jessica and pulled her and Griphook away from the falling chandelier. Bellatrix screamed and Narcissa and Draco rushed over with Jessica and Griphook to join the three boys and Dobby. Ron held the sword in his hands, along with the beaded bags.
"Dobby?!" cried Bellatrix. "HOW DARE YOU! You almost killed me you stupid elf!"
"Dobby never meant to kill anyone, only seriously injure or maim," replied Dobby.
"You dirty little monkey!" bawled Bellatrix. "How dare you defy your master!"
"Dobby's master and mistress are The Potters!" replied Dobby. "The Potters take good care of Dobby! Dobby has come to rescue the Potters and his friends!"
Draco, Narcissa, Griphook, Jessica and Hermione, who had both regained consciousness, and the three boys clasped onto Dobby and disapparated into thin air. Harry saw Lucius and Bellatrix's faces of horror as they realized that Narcissa and Draco were turning back to the light side and Harry could just make out the silver tip of Bellatrix's knife aiming right for them and everything was black for a moment.
The group landed with a thud on a sandy beach.
"Hermione? Hermione love, are you alright?" asked Harry as he rushed over to his wife. Hermione nodded, unable to speak. Luna and Dean were behind them with babies in their arms, and Josh was fussing over Jessica, who was bawling repeatedly.
"Harry Potter," came the voice of Dobby. The group turned to see Dobby. They gasped and saw Dobby standing there, the silver knife sticking in his side.
"No! Dobby!" cried Harry, rushing over to him. "Ron, quick, the dittany!" Harry pulled the knife out of Dobby's side and placed pressure over the wound. Ron rushed over with the dittany and placed several drops onto the wound. The wound began to heal and Harry breathed a sigh of relief.
"Harry Potter saved Dobby's life," stated Dobby. "Dobby is eternally grateful."
"You're our friend, Dobby, we owed you one for saving ours," said Ron as he picked up Dobby to help him walk over to the cottage. Hermione and Jessica took their children into their arms, holding on to them for dear life, as Harry and Josh helped them up to the cottage. Dean was helping Ollivander and Luna was helping Griphook. Draco and Narcissa followed behind. Fleur and Bill came out and gasped as they saw the group.
"Sacre Bleu!" shouted Fleur. "You're alive!"
"Ollivander, Griphook, Dobby and the girls need medical treatment," said Harry as the group entered the house.
"Oh my word, you guys had babies?!" cried Bill as he saw Hermione and Jessica carrying James and Abby.
"This is James Sirius Potter and Abigail Daisy Farnham," said Josh.
"Draco and Narcissa Malfoy?!" cried Bill when he saw them behind the group.
"Relax Bill," said Ron as Bill reached for his wand. "They saved our lives. They've been verbally and physically abused by Lucius Malfoy for years."
"We were forced to return to Lucius under the Imperius," said Narcissa, earning a gasp from Fleur.
"Oh my," said Fleur. "You are welcome to stay here in protection."
Griphook, Ollivander, and Dobby were placed into three spare rooms. The teens, Narcissa, and Draco gathered in the living room and Fleur ushered the two new mothers into two rocking chairs.
"Ze babies, zey must be wet and starving!" said Fleur.
"Wanna learn how to change a nappie, Draco?" grinned Jessica evilly as she checked Abby's diaper. Draco looked at his cousin in horror as Narcissa tried to hide a laugh.
"Er, no thanks, I'll pass," said Draco. Everyone laughed as Hermione and Jessica waved their wands and disposed of the dirty diapers.
"Wait, that's all I had to do?!" cried Draco as Hermione and Jessica placed new diapers on the babies.
"What, you thought you had to do it the muggle way?" laughed Jessica as she placed a blanket over her shoulder and began to feed Abby. The group laughed again as Hermione also started to breastfeed James.
"You guys look so natural doing that," replied Dean, a bit embarrassed that his two friends were practically exposing themselves in front of all of these people.
"That's life," replied Jessica. "And she has her father's appetite."
"Have you heard from Tonks and Lupin?" Harry asked Bill. "How about Arabella?"
"They are all fine," said Bill. "I sent my patronus to them to inform them that you are here. Ron told you Tonks is pregnant right?"
"Yeah, did she have the baby?" asked Hermione.
"Yes she did," came a voice from behind them. "A boy!"
"Remus!" cried the group and Remus and Arabella entered the room.
"Mum!" cried Jessica.
"Jessie darling! Oh my word, I'm a grandmother?" cried Arabella as she ran over and hugged her daughter, who was now finished feeding Abby.
"Mum, meet your granddaughter, Abigail Daisy Farnham," replied Jessica. She passed the content infant to Arabella.
"Oh she's beautiful!' gushed Arabella. "And oh, Hermione! Oh he is a handsome boy!"
"This is James Sirius Potter," smiled Hermione. Arabella grinned and tears fell from her eyes. She handed Abby back to Jessica and engulfed Harry in a hug.
"Sirius would have been so honored," replied Lupin with a smile.
"What did you name your son?" Narcissa asked.
"Ted, after Dora's father," replied Lupin. "Theodore Remus Lupin."
"What are you two doing here anyways?" Arabella asked Narcissa.
"We were taken prisoner by snatchers and taken to Malfoy Manor," replied Dean. "Draco and Narcissa saved our lives."
"We're done with Lucius and his abuse," replied Narcissa. "Draco and I are seeking asylum."
"He used Imperio on them," replied Jessica and Arabella gasped.
"I knew it!' replied Arabella.
"The babies are ready for a nap," commented Jessica. "I think we could all use one."
"I'll transfigure a crib for them and put you four in our room," replied Bill. "Come on. You lot deserve some rest."
