Ending
The Manikins howled as Jason's bullet pierce thriught them. However, more stepped across their fallen comrades, toward the heroes, who stood back to back. Lightning's sword speed through the wave of beasts, and finally impaled the Rift. The manikins roared, as more sped out of the rift, which began to shatter, and collapse. There was a soft gasp, and Tifa fell over, unmoving, covered in wounds. One by one, Laguna, Terry, Titus, Total, Atrocitus, Shiki, Vaan, Calculator, Purring Pete, Kain, John, Riku, Yuna, Supergirl and Namine collapsed as well. Lightning, Jason and Henry fell to their knees, as the manikins drew closer. Then, they too, fell over, as their breathing ceased.
Warrior of Light leaned back, dodging the manikins claws, and brought his knee up, slashing it throat. Superman and Captain Carrot grabbing it, they threw it into the horde with a yell, knocking down more manikins. Then they and the Warrior of Light fell to a knee, breathing heavily. They staggered back to their feet, and charged forward, but exhaustion had taken its toll, and they fell. Sensing weakness, the manikins ran forward. Cosmos stood up suddenly, and walked off her throne, walking through the air, standing before Warrior of Light, Superman and Captain Carrot She place both hands across her chest, as she bgan to glow with a light, while the manikins drew nearer.
"NO! COSMOS!" They shouted, as Cosmos exhaled, and the glow of light erupted off of her, striking the manikins, which exploded into fragments like crystals. Leaving the area deserted. Cosmos sighed softly, as her body began to dissolve into golden orbs. The water vanished from Sanctuary, so it looked like a Graveyard. Suddenly, the bodies of her Warrior's, Superheroes and animals appeared including Cloud, Doctor Fate, Dex-Starr, Terra, Wonder Woman, Jumpa, Tidus, Shazam and Streaky. There was a soft roar, and the clouds parted, as Shinryu emeged. The dragon gave another soft growl as it began to circle around them.
At once, the warriors, superheroes and animals began to dissolve into golden orbs. One by one, Shinryu opened its mouth, swallowed the orbs. Warrior of Light, Superman and Captain Carrot looked up as their own bodies began to dissolve.
Laguna, Terry, Titus, Total, Atrocitus, Shiki, Vaan, Calculator, Purring Pete, Kain, John, Riku, Yuna, Supergirl, Lightning, Jason and Henry floated before them, their bodies dissolving into dust. Only Lightning, Jason and Henry was left. Jason took off the mask on his head and revealed his own face to them. They stared into their eyes, then smiled, before they too faded away.
Warrior of Light, Superman and Captain Carrot give one final sigh, as their bodies turned into a golden orb, which Shinryu devoured. Then the dragon soared back into the sky, leaving a golden trail behind it, and the clouds closed.
The stability of this world is ensured by the goddess of harmony. Her divine power flows outwards in an endless stream-a soothing current to suppress the violent and destructive energy of the god of discord.
But in this battle, the long-standing rules were shattered. In defiance of fate, the goddess of harmony chose to divert her power from its eternal task. She sought to protect the lives of her chosen heroes, and invited her own demise.
As a result of this act, the energies of chaos were set free to rage, unrestrained. The very fabric of the world was irrevocably unspun.
Barely a fragment of this reality emerged from the destruction. But still the dragon performed its purifying ritual, setting the stage for the conflict to begin anew.
With even the memories of their fallen companions scoured away, the warriors are restored to life alongside the goddess of harmony.
Once again, the heroes of Cosmos step forth, and fight to seize victory
