Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: The tournament semi-finals went well on their way. Rugai won the first bout with realative ease. The same can't be said for Tenchu, as he lost his fight with the very muscular Sanfan. As some of the other fighters were struggling with each other, two of them named T and Scythe made sure that the remaining participants never fought. They then revealed themselves as remnant members of the Black Fist Organization named Tungstonfist and Sapphirefist. Rugai quickly took out Tungstonfist with one attack, then nearly broke Sapphirefist in the ring. Afterwards, Rugai took Sapphirefist far from the people and used his attack from before, completely destroying Sapphirefist. The final fight between him and Ferno was intense, with Rugai being declared the winner.
WIth the title of being the strongest in the world, Rugai and the others headed back to Mt. Paos for furthur training from Master Evelyn. What new adventures will our heroes have? Find out on Dragon Ball NA.
Two days have passed...
Rugai held the belt firmly on his body, Tenchu and Sanfan sat by the waterfall holding hands. Even Ferno decided to follow Rugai to Mt. Paos and learn more about his incredable strength training. "I know its your first time as champion, but why are you so intent on holding that belt tight?" Ferno stood behind him, looked down while his arms were crossed.
Rugai turned his head. "So. Maybe the next time I won't be champion and this was the only chance that I win it." Rugai went back to holding his belt. Meanwhile, Bull started to work on a design for a permanent power source for the space ship.
"What did you guys use as your internal power source?" He sat Whitefist on the table.
"We used an unstable isotope combined with a couple of minerals that only last us roughly a couple hundred years." Whitefist showed the schematics to Bull.
"Looking at it closely, as long as you don't use any energy to attack, you might've lived for roughly twelve hundred years... give or take a few minutes." Whitefist quickly calculated then returned.
"You are right. However, Blackfist wanted to take over the world. He stockpiled all the isotopes in his underground bunker under the Snowvilla." Tenchu, Deena and Rugai all stopped and quickly went over to Whitefist. Rugai held back from unleashing his rage on him.
"There was a bunker... under Snowvilla? And you're just telling us now!" An image of Whitefist's face emerged from the screen and just stared at Rugai.
"Please forgive my lack of trust to you mister Rugai. But if I had told you that the people were protected because they are sitting on top of the stockpile, then your rage wouldn't subside and you would end up destroying not only the Organization, but the entire world as well. The isotopes, if left without a containment unit, would cause a chain reaction that would eventually cause the planet to implode at first, then explode." Rugai was then reminded of how he witnessed his planet being destoyed and then fell to his knees.
"I... I didn't... I didn't know." He dropped his head down furthur. "I'm actually kinda glad you didn't tell me. Thank you Darryn." Whitefist got confused by his new name.
"Why did you call me by that designated name?" Rugai got up, and looked at him.
"Can't call you Whitefist anymore. You don't have a walking body. I've been meaning to ask, why was your Organization use names like 'Ironfist', 'Whitefist' and 'Sapphirefist'?"
"Upon cyberization, they gather whatever was currently available to replace what they thought was damaged parts. An arm, leg, or whatever they thought was deemed necessary for cyber parts. Blackfist used black onyx of the purest quality for himself. When I had my body, I was given White Ivory of also of purest quality." Everyone finally understood, most of them walked away from the newly named Darryn. Rugai and Ferno both took into the air, and flew above the valley near Evelyn's place and started sparing.
By the plantet of Saturn...
Jeena and Kanashimi took a brief break from their long travel, and went to the planet below. "This planet really sucks. I mean, the people live underground because they're afraid of other lifeforms. I really hate cowards." Kanashimi kept dragging Jeena around the bazaar, and sampling the wares there.
"We really shouldn'tve stopped here. We would've made it to Terra already if you hadn't made us stop at random places." Jeena tried to head back to the ship, but Kanashimi used her leash to reel her back in. "I hate it when you do that."
Kanashimi chuckled then grabbed her side. "You are my healer, princess. So until I don't need you anymore, you belong to me. Why did you hang around that weakling Rugai so much? He's weaker than you and was always a crybaby. I wouldn't be surprised that he stayed on Planet Vegeta and died with its destruction." Kanashimi started laughing, while Jeena lowered her head and got depressed.
"I hope he's still alive. He has the kindest heart out of everyone." Kanashimi dissmissed what Jeena said and kept sampling the wares.
After a few hours, Jeena was stuck carrying the large sack of goods Kanashimi bought. Before they got to the space ship, they were stopped by a few very large thugs with various blunt weaponry. "Looks like the welcome wagon doesn't want us leaving with any of the goods." One of the thugs, nearly 8 feet tall, muscles five times bigger than the large muscled body builder, holding what looked like a nail bat.
"Little girls shouldn't bought anything from our stalls. Even girls 'pretending' to be Saiyans." The other brutes, same size and build, started laughing.
"Pretending to be Saiyans?" Kanashimi's eyes filled with rage, then moved her tail a bit before teleporting behind the thugs and tore their heads off...literally. "I AM a Saiyan!" Kanashimi then grabbed Jeena's arm and pulled her onto the spaceship. Not long afterwards, they took off and resumed their way to Earth.
Back on Mt. Paos...
Both Rugai and Ferno nearly passed out from exhaustion after their intense sparring action. Deena sat next to Rugai and tended to his wounds. "Why are you trying to kill each other? You don't have to put your life on the line everytime you fight." Rugai, still catching his breath, looked at her.
"We weren't fighting with our lives on the line." He turned to Ferno. "The heat of our sparring just got the better of us. Besides, I can feel that we are all getting stronger." Ferno closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down.
"Speak for youself Saiyan boy. I just found out the moment I came here. Never imagine that you were an alien." It was that moment, that Tenchu and Sanfan got closer to Rugai. Then Sanfan grabbed his tail and accidently pulled it off of him.
"OUCH! WHY DID YOU PULL OFF MY TAIL?" Rugai then felt weak and quit moving his body. "It's like my strength just left my entire body all at once."
"I...I''m so sorry Rugai. I didn't mean to pull your tail off. Please don't hate me." Sanfan started to cry. Rugai managed to turn to her.
"I'm not mad. Accidents does happen. Guess I'll have to train harder to regain what I lost." Rugai managed a half hearted smile, then Deena leaned in and kissed him on the forehead. "What was that for?"
She just smiled at him. "No reason. Just felt like it." At that moment, everyone except Bull and Sanfan sensed something. "What was...?" Before she could finish, Rugai stumbled to his feet.
"We better get 100% better, It feels like something evil is heading our way." Ferno then stumbled to his feet, then both of them headed to the waterfall, but was stopped by Evelyn.
"Better sleep it off you two, leave the meet and greet to Tenchu and Deena." Rugai was slightly confused.
"I thought that Deena focused on the healing?" Deena smacked Rugai in the back of the head. "What was that for?" Rugai rubbed the area where Deena smacked.
"Just because I focused on healing, doesn't mean that I can't fight. I've been training just has hard as you to get at least half the strength you possess. Besides, I've only managed to survive 75x gravity. You always training at 500x is madness." She then hugged his arm tightly.
"My vow to not let anyone else die has been my drive. You're at the top of my list that I want to have lived longer." Rugai gave her a smile, then a quick kiss on the forehead. Then both Rugai and Ferno entered Evelyn's house and slept on the floor, by the table.
Sunrise, next day...
Rugai and the others woken up to Evelyn's cooking. As everyone sat around the table, Ferno headed out the door. "Please sit, stay with us." Tenchu said as Sanfan grabbed his body from behind, and held him tightly in her arms.
"As tempting as that is, I like to be alone for a few hours every daybreak. Special routine of mine." As Ferno exited, Rugai wolfed down his food and left. Everyone was shocked that he didn't eat a ton of food. But then remembered that they haven't got much time to fully prepare the possible threat heading towards Earth.
"Master, have you heard any stories about the Saiyans?" Sanfan asked, still clinging onto Tenchu. Evelyn set her utensil down, closed her eyes and tried to remember any information she might've heard.
"Nothing's coming to mind. But Rugai hasn't said much about his race to anyone." Tenchu and Deena looked at each, then back at Evelyn. "You kids want to tell me something?" Deena looked down, while Tenchu sat there with a blank stare.
"Rugai didn't say much to us. Other than that, he's just trying to live a normal, quiet life." Deena then got up, and left the house.
Outside, Rugai was meditating on a boulder he sat before leaving for the tournament. "Hey Ru, could you teach me how to fly?" Rugai woken from his trance, and slid off it.
"Sure." Rugai gently grabbed her hand, and went into the clearing a couple hundred yards away. "In order to fly, you need to find the sleeping energy residing in you." Rugai sat on the ground, then Deena followed suit. "Now put your hands just a bit away from your stomache, like this." Deena watched intently. "Then feel the energy within you and push it out gently." The moment Rugai finished his sentence, a small golden-like ball of energy emerged between his hands. "And that's how you find it." Deena looked up.
"Does everyone have it?" Rugai smiled then put his energy away.
"Of course. All living plants, animals and creatures have energy within them. It takes exceptional people to understand and fully use the energy within. You started using it when you also sensed them. Deena put her hands away a bit from her stomache, and concentrated hard and produced nothing. "Relax your body Deena, you're too tense." Deena gave Rugai the stare of death, which shut him up. She then relaxed her body and stared at her hands, soon the small ball of energy emerged into her hands. Deena's eyes went wide, then looked at Rugai with sparkling eyes. The ball went back in her, then hugged him very tightly.
"Oh Rugai! Now I'll be able to fly!" Rugai rubbed her back a bit before speaking.
"Not quite yet, now you'll have to learn to use that evergy inside you for practical use." Deena broke away from the hug, then resumed her death stare at him. "Please don't look at me like that. It feels weird and you want to kill me." She kept death staring at him.
"Then teach me to fly, or I'll really kill you." Rugai got up and helped her up.
"Ok, ok. You do the same concentrating method but insead of pushing it out, push it upwards. Think of it as changing your center of gravity so light, that it feels your dust in the wind." With a very clear explination, Deena redid her condentration, found it then gently pushed it upwards. Seconds later, she floated a few inches off the ground. Rugai was pleased. "Wow, thats impressive! I'm Proud of you Dee." Deena once again, gave him the death stare.
"Quiet you! I'm concentrating here!" Deena fell on her feet then smacked Rugai's chest. "See what you made me did!" Rugai smiled at bit.
"You're doing great Dee. Just practice that technique and you'll be flying in no time. Getting used to the wind, comes a bit later." Deena nodded, then resumed her flying training, while Rugai went into the air and trained himself.
WIth Jeena and Kanashimi getting closer to Earth, Rugai and the others are preparing themselves for the possible threat. Wil they be friends or foes when they meet? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA.
