Over the years, Inusheeko and I trained and honed in our abilities to fight. It was a tough task, but we both knew that we had to do it for the good of the Vampyres. Personally, I would have given whatever it was some of the Vampyres I didn't like, then killed it. However, I was the daughter of Nyx, and as such, I needed to place the needs others before my own. Adonis stood before us proudly, and I felt my smile. Everyone had gathered at the temple of Nyx to watch us leave, and I looked back at my mentor.
"I am so proud of the both of you… You both worked so hard and finally got your training completed. This will be a very hard thing to accomplish, but I have faith in the both of you. I know you two will succeed and bring peace to us once again"
Adonis gave both of us a necklace, kissing our foreheads gently. "Now go, go and release us from this thousand year curse"
We bowed and turned, and I took a deep breath. I had changed a lot over the years, and it felt good. My transformation had completed itself, my hair turned white and my eyes turned emerald. A wind blew through the sky, and it lifted the white tresses into the air. Mother appeared before us, and we bowed again in respect.
"You understand what to do right?" she asked, and I nodded solemnly.
This was war, and I needed to prepare myself physically and mentally.
"Inusheeko are you ready?" I asked, and the man nodded.
We walked through the gates of the house of night and I looked back one more time before the doors closed, and our journey into the darkness began.
Years had passed since then, and Inusheeko and I had been in battle. Turns out, the person who cursed the Vampyre race was Linda, my step mother. She had found out that I was Nyx's daughter, and she cursed the entire race. "She's strong…" Inusheeko said, and I nodded, sighing as I sat on the boulder. It was just the two of us, but she had an entire army. It was hell to battle so many undead Vampyres, and I often found my energy drained. "Are you alright?" Inusheeko asked me worriedly.
"I'll be fine Sheeko… I just want to defeat her and lift this curse… Adonis has informed me that even more of the students are dying… "
"That means more soldiers for Linda doesn't it?"
I nodded, getting up and looking up into the sky. It was day time, and unlike the average Vampyre, the sun didn't hurt me or Inusheeko. He wrapped his arms around me and I sighed contently. "We will defeat her Bunny. I know we will"
"I know but-
There was an explosion nearby, and we prepared ourselves for battle. Linda would often try to sneak up on us, but we were ready for anything… Except this. She came to us alone, with a malicious smirk on her face. There was a bloodied cloth in her hand, and I sank to my knees. It was Maxwell's, my father's. I could smell his blood from here. "BITCH!" I yelled, going to charge towards her. Inusheeko grabbed me and held me back, narrowing his eyes. "What have you done with Maxwell?" he asked.
"Nothing too bad… Bunny, I want you to do something for me, if you don't, Maxwell dies"
Tears welled in my eyes and nodded angrily. I had no choice, he was my father. Linda smiled and threw the cloth to me, and I broke from Inusheeko and grabbed it before it went to the ground. "What do you want?" I asked, clutching father's cloth. "Meet me tonight in forest clearing. Come alone"
"Fine. But if you dare hurt him, I will slit your fucking throat!"
"You have my word… Until tonight" Linda said and disappeared.
