OKAY. So I finally have this entire story organized (somewhat) to the end. I got a plan which hopes to solves all questions and if not, there's always the end incase I forgot what happened to some people. Review please! Also, be aware since this story was (unintentionally) rushed, there is still a lack of character development between you know who and another you know who so they will often be together.
The morning had been brutal. Brutal, might have even been an understatement. Ichigo never really had an extreme wake up schedule before. School, of course, always assured him he would wake up at some reasonable time. But this morning had been different. He absolutely did not wish to get up from his slumber. If it had not been for Uryu and Haschwalth banging on the door, and then proceeding to break the door, he most likely would have never even awoke. This had of course also disturbed Bambietta, who was subconsciously blowing things up around the room in hopes of the disturbing sounds would end. Ichigo was not above being forced out, and the moment Uryu threatened him he wouldn't take it.
He enjoyed taking his time getting ready. The two could go to hell for all he would care. A morning hot shower in this desolate ice kingdom was absolute heaven. Steam emitted from the room as he opened the door. Uryu kept a close eye as Ichigo revealed himself with his uniform on. A smirk was on his face as he stared down his human friend.
But his attention suddenly dropped low as he bumped into a small figure. Bambietta was barely awake with half-open eyes. A towel was over her shoulder as she prepared to go in after him. Her mind was simply blank as he looked down with a smile. "I'll see you later, okay?" She gave a weak nod and was in pain when Ichigo gave a tight hug.
"Mmmm." Was all she was able to groan.
"Kurosaki…enough." Ishida stated.
"Shut up! Should have come later if you didn't want to bother us."
The two Sternritter had guided him to a remote location through Silbern and outside Vandenreich city entirely. No other elite Quincy had been awake this early except for Candice who simply stared at the three with a suspicious glance. Ichigo assured her that he was being force out of his will. The "Thunderbolt" would have been willing to go with them but the Grandmaster assured that she would remain in her quarters.
Traveling through the outer areas of Silbern, the teen could only see Soldat doing routines all around the area. He felt bad for them knowing that this was a daily routine in which they would spend all day in this frozen hell. Ichigo even felt more disrespect when Jugram ordered him to do pushups. Such basic exercise was never something which he ever needs to do. However, arguing kept getting him nowhere.
Pushups, sprints, sit-ups, and boxing had been the four routines which the two tested him on. They each took turns in hand-to-hand combat which Ichigo had been able to beat both of them. "You two are way too reliant on distance." If Haschwalth cared enough he would have reprimanded the boy through his own skill. Then again, the teen had beaten him without the use of a weapon.
Ichigo's training was absolutely prioritized. It could be seen as a somewhat disadvantage to waste time during Soul Society's chaos. But Yhwach was realizing this would give his Sternritter more time to train with the Bankai's they had stolen and for them to prepare for a more difficult invasion. The Quincy leader had to quickly think, but he realized that this would be the best option. Ichigo was noted as the strongest special war potential for having the ability to quickly adapt and quickly learn from his surroundings. Yhwach wanted to further expand even this. He wanted Ichigo to learn everything about his multiple heritages, something which only a few knew.
One week.
Three days for your Quincy powers.
Three days to solidify everything else.
One day of rest.
Three days of Quincy training was all the time Ichigo had requested. He gave Yhwach a confident assurance that he could live up to everything if given just this much time. It had been noted that was able to become a full-fledged Shinigami within only three days in the past. This gave him some ground when he proved his case. Of course Yhwach tried to be arrogant, simply saying, 'Quincy powers are nothing like Shinigami ones. They take life times to master.' Ichigo only smirked at his words and answered that the Shinigami had told him the same story when he destroyed their precious Sokyoku spear during their execution ritual.
More time was requested for beyond his Quincy training. Ichigo had somewhat reconnected with his former Zanpakuto spirit but was still not on friendly grounds. This had occurred when Kenpachi fueled his body with Shinigami reiatsu, causing his body to gain a substantial amount of reiryoku. Ichigo simply shrugged and explained to Yhwach, 'When I was fighting Zaraki, he stabbed me in the heart. I...felt his reiatsu pump through me. It awakened something inside of me which I thought had been dead since I fought Aizen. But it is foreign...it is not the same anymore. Something was very different. I can take it all again, I just need time.'
And so Yhwach gave him time.
The last day of rest was not really for Ichigo only. It was dedicated to all the Sternritter and Soldat who fought under the Vandenreich. It was the day of celebration, and anticipation. One last morale boost for those who were ready to fight the Shinigami in another intensive battle. Yhwach announced it was going to be the last invasion and that Silbern would overtake Soul Society. Another illusion designated to trick everyone into believed he truly cared for their well-being instead of most of their eventual demise.
Waking up at around 5 in the morning, his first goal was to improve his speed. In his own right Ichigo was one of the faster warriors of his time. Not the fastest, but certainly someone who could compete. Uryu had been a master in Hirenkyaku, and it was not difficult handling the speed. He already trained for Shunpo, as it was not much different from the Quincy method. Fast movement had been the basis for all of his battles and it only set up an easier future.
Only two hours had been spent on exercise routines, while the next five had been spent on the intense speed training. The problem Ichigo had is that he was unable to use any weapons while being forced to be attacked from two very fast Quincy. The entire session had simply been on trying to figure out how to handle certain situations without being able to counter attack. Haschwalth wielded a large blade, while Uryu shot him with holy arrows. And he was not prone to mercy. Every now and then, Sternritter "B" would be able to gain a small hit. It was never serious, but it showed the faulty in his method of flashing.
Ishida had only gotten one decent shot on him. Ichigo of course complained, saying it was a "cheap shot" since he was normally he would have just cut down the arrow. While the "Anti-thesis" scoffed it off as him trying to say he was still the better fighter. Naturally, the more irrational teen tried proving this by breaking the own rules and trying to fire back. Needless to say, Uryu was far more skilled in using a bow.
Haschwalth could not believe the two ever made progress with their constant bickering.
"What are you planning to do?"
Urahara Kisuke was filled with stress as he quickly scatters across his candy shop. The man was frantically gathering multiple devices and throwing them into a brown box.
"I will be going to Soul Society. Even if we are not on best terms, I cannot allow everything to be destroyed." The former 12th Division captain had been slowly aware of the events following the Gotei 13 and had immediately taken interest the moment the first captain had perished. This was far more dangerous than he had originally assumed. A Quincy surprise attack was the last thing anyone would have expected.
"From what Neliel and Ulquiorra-san have told me, things are much more dire than what we all could believe."
"I just don't believe it. I refuse to believe it." Yoruichi crossed her arms and repeatedly pressed her foot against the ground, "I still can't believe he left with that...witch!" Absolutely fury fueled the jealous female. For a quick outlet, the women began assaulting Sado as if he was a punching bag. "We saw him leave Kisuke! And you just stood there and did nothing!" The blame had of course was obviously shifted to Urahara for failing to prevent the event.
Even when they had first discovered Bambietta, the two were unaware she was a Quincy. It was rather worry some because of the recent involvement against Xcution. It would be no surprise if they were seeking revenge for their fallen comrades. So when the orange-haired teen had first disappeared, it was highly speculated he was just somewhere in the human world as a prisoner.
"Yoruichi-san... it still hurts."
"It's okay Sado! I'm going to hurt Ichigo a lot more when he's here!" The man groaned and only took it as disturbing the cat would only make it worse. "I mean, how could he leave me!? I understand wanting to get away from his idiot father, but he left you, his closest friends behind!"
Sado continued to remain silent as the words slowly hit Inoue and himself. Ichigo was not really thinking about much when he vanished from the human world. The only thing on his mind had been the fact that the two Shinigami knew things about him that even he had no idea would be true. Of course, the two humans did not know this and were hurt by his decision to simply leave without even informing them. They had no idea Quincy blood was within two of their friends.
"He said Ishida was there as well? The nerve...why is it every time your kid does something bad mine just has to follow!" Ryuken yelled to Isshin who was standing the corner with his arms crossed. The Shinigami was in deep thought as he internally panicked from the news about Ichigo. He knew his son had disappeared, but Isshin had always trusted his judgment and how to handle intense situations. Never did he expect him to actually fight his former friends.
But then again he never expected him to find out he was a Quincy.
"Because...YOUR SON IS A FOLLOWER!" The accusation caused Ryuken to growl in anger, "My son is always the one leading, the handsome one, the stronger one, Uryu just wants to fit in!" Even in these bad situations would the two make everything out as if it was a competition.
"Handsome!? He took after your looks, not Masaki's! And stronger!? What is his power again? Random bursts of energy! No sense of art in his fighting spirit!" The shot back as meant from a laugh from Isshin. "Not to mention orange hair doesn't look good on guys!"
Isshin gasped, "That is a lie! Yoruichi, Inoue, Neliel and you, Ulquiorra! Tell me, does orange-hair look good on Ichigo!?"
Yoruichi lowered her eyes, "It's going to look a lot better when it's mixed with his blood!" The woman was scary. No one was going to try and hold her down. Only Ichigo seems to be the one to end her fanatic mood. Sado once again groaned as her punches became fiercer.
Inoue flinched in her shock, "I...I like orange hair! I have orange hair so that means I like orange hair!" No one really understood how such a use of words could be mixed up. Either way, it seemed convincing enough. The two then eyed the Arrancar who simply stood next to Orihime.
Neliel smiled, "Of course I do! Ichi's hair is so cute!" The women confessed with a blush, "But I don't believe he is fighting for the enemy. It can't be true. It's more likely to believe they are controlling him somehow. Poor Itsygo..." The girl gave her answer which caused Isshin to smirk.
"I have no interest in the appearance of anyone, whatsoever. Why you believe I somehow care for orange, I have no idea." The former Espada kept his eyes lowered as the two steadily observe him. The news was still a surprise for man. It was more convincing for them to tell him that Ichigo had defeated Aizen, rather than saying he turned on his friends.
"That's a no." Ryuken stated.
"2/3 is good enough for me!" Isshin smirked in victory.
"Quiet down all of you. I need to know now, who is going to Soul Society?" The question was intense. Many had mixed feelings on what to do. Normally, they would all venture out to the soul realm. However, since Uryu and Ichigo are both reported to be within the Vandenreich, it would cause a massive problem if they end up facing him. Isshin and Ryuken knew they could not go. They chose for a reason to stay and defend the citizens of Karakura town. And the chances of encountering their own children were much higher than one would realize. They would not take the risk. Whatever Ichigo and Uryu planned on doing, they had to trust them on it.
"You know I'm going." Yoruichi said as she cracked her knuckles. The girl had been itching to get her hands in some Quincy blood.
Neliel sighed, "I'm not sure. All the leading Espada are incapacitated so I have no real duty anywhere. If it means to help Ichigo, I will go." The Arrancar had been sent away from Hueco Mudo in order to gain the assistance from the locals in Karakura Town. After reaching the Kurosaki residence, she encountered Shaz Domino and had been battling him while the Vandenreich invaded Las Noches and Soul Society. After his escape, Nel kept close with the Kurosaki twins until Isshin arrived.
Urahara kept his head down, "That's three of us. Tessai will keep the shop busy...Inoue, Sado?" he asked.
Orihime frowned and avoided eye contact, "I...have to watch of these six..." All eyes looked towards the empty room which had bodies scattered across the floor. Shinji, Zaraki, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Lisa and Hiyori all lay unconscious on the floor. Some were too injured to be recovered while some had fixable injuries. Inoue's power did have her own limits.
"I…do not wish to fight Ichigo."
"It's fine you two. I'll drag Ichigo here along with that bitch's head."
"Ano, Yoruichi-san... she wasn't the only one." The busty teen was not one for revenge. But if Ichigo truly had been simply brainwashed, then it wouldn't be wrong to want some compensation for being so hurt. "Kurosaki-kun was with four of them."
Urahara fell to the ground in despair, "Orihime-chan...Why would you..." The group watched as Yoruichi landed a perfect kick on Sado's muscular chest. The teen was sent flying outside the candy shop and had collapsed from the agony.
"I should have guessed! Kisuke, let's go! I'm done waiting!"
"Y-Yes...Yoruichi-san..."
Ryuken stared at Isshin who was only admiring Yoruichi's perfect form. "You're such an awful parent. You aren't even going to go save your son?"
"Ha! My son knows what he is doing. And what about you? Everyone knows Uryu only went because Ichigo had so many girls with him."
The older Quincy lowered his eyes, "That is of no real concern anyways. My son has self-respect and would only be with someone of class. Not some…bimbo! No offense to you, Inoue-chan."
The girl gasped, "It is fine…I never considered Ishida-san more than friend." She tried being friendly but it only caused Ryuken to hang his head in sorrow. "But I still want both of them back."
The Quincy smiled, "Thank you…Inoue-chan. Uryu should be more appreciative of your kindness."
"Kindness? Who needs that! I bet Ichigo is swimming in girls right now, he doesn't need kindness!"
It was now around 12 o'clock. Mid-day had been an absolute blessing for Ichigo. He was given one hour break to go and do whatever then it was back to the intense physical excursion. Since the boy had not eaten anything in well over 24 hours, his hunger was the only thing on his mind.
It was amazing how much food the hungry-human male could consume all at once. Right now the Quincy was returning from waiting in a painfully long line. Luckily, he was able to eat in the less-crowded Sternritter zone.
"Thanks guys!" Ichigo spoke as two Soldat deliver more plates to the already filled table.
"No problem, Kurosaki-sama."
-sama
It was annoying to hear that. Honorifics were something he rarely used, and when he did they were usually ones deliberately meant to be disrespectful.
Never before has he acted like such an animal. It was as if this meal was going to be his last. He could feel his strength slowly return to him as he consumes the vast amount of energy. Ichigo suddenly looks up and is met with the blank stare from another Quincy. Bambietta held in her hand a small white cup. Slowly, she places the cup to her month and consumes the liquid inside.
The younger teen had only been watching with somewhat interest. He thought it was weird for her to try and act all elegant. The woman was just a case of being very stubborn, emotional, and not willing take much crap from others. She was natural leader, and had always somewhat looked out for those she cared for. Although, it was not very well expressed, she did have a concern for those who looked up to her.
Sound familiar?
The two did have a lot in common. Although she was considered to be a bit more psychotic and demanding, the two could get along well as long as either one did not clash with their massive egos. But the two were both considered emotional bombs. It was only a matter of time before one of them triggers an all-out occurrence against the other.
Her eyes go wide in shock. Ichigo could barely comprehend what had actually happened. It was the last thing he expected to occur. Never before has a wet feeling literally slapped him in the face. It was not her hand, or any sold object. It was rather a very hot liquid which was ejected from her mouth.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?"
The "Explode" angrily regains her composure, "What fuck is this!? It's disgusting!"
"BLACK COFFEE!"
Ichigo grabbed a stack of napkins and rushed them to his face. He was gripping his head in agony as the liquid Bambietta had spat back out her mouth was burning his face.
"Why the hell would bring me that!?"
His eyes drop, "You said to bring you what I got!"
She had assumed Ichigo would get something she would have enjoyed. Obviously, the two had different interest in types of drinks. He had his own reasons for drinking coffee this late in the day.
"I didn't know you had such awful taste!"
"Well I'm here with you! Should have been obvious!"
She gasped, "You're such an asshole!" Bambietta clutched her fists and gave a vicious growl. It would be unwise to start blowing up things in this part of Silbern. In the past she would often do it without thinking, and that ended with a very intense meeting with the King. It took years for her to control herself from just blowing things up whenever she sees fit. That is why when given the chance, anything is fair game.
"OW! Don't fucking kick me!" he yelled. Inflicing as much pain on him right now was just compensation for his hurtful words.
Moments later the yelling had somewhat died down as she graciously threw a nearby small towel. Naturally, it had slapped him in the face and caused only more pain. Later he was able to dry off his face and could see her infamous cold stare. "You need to relax." he suggested. The "Explode" merely crossed her legs and continued to observe him with her frozen, dark-blue eyes. The intensity of the stare was something new to him. Only Yoruichi and to some extent Tatsuki, would ever give him such a stare. But normally they would have tried to hit him by now. Ichigo tried to ignore it and went back to enjoying his heavy meal. Things got even more awkward when he ran out of things to consume. His eyes scatter across the table and soon lock onto another person.
Liltotto Lamperd sat directly across from him and had only watched with confusion as she witnessed the little incident with the coffee. Like Ichigo, she was helping herself in the grand feast and had taken a fair share of her own plates. Her favorite was the turkey sandwich with lots of condiments and extra toppings. She had a frown on her face as she realized that this maybe the last time she'd be able to eat the special meal. Their food was not ever lasting. They had to get it from multiple sources. Either the Liechtreicht, or the human world, it was bound to come to an end. She closed her eyes and opened her mouth.
His speed came in handy
It was absolute horror
Never in her life has she felt so disrespected
He was an animal
Ichigo had basically forced the sandwich down his throat. The boy was hoping no one would notice as he quickly forced himself to look in the other direction. Her hands were still open in the air as if it never had left her grasp. Time was slowed down in her view.
No Sternritter had ever committed such a horrendous, treasonous, shocking, act which screamed of betrayal. Ichigo turned over and only flinched as everyone had kept their eyes wide onto him. The three were not the only ones present. The moment Ichigo was done training, Meninas, Candice, Liltotto, and Giselle had caught up with Bambietta. The "Explode" was annoyed to have their company but Ichigo did not mind.
"Did you...just…really..." The "Glutton" slowly broke the silence.
He looked over, "Huh?" Maturity was not something which had fully developed onto him. That child-side of him was always present when he went around messing with his friends. Liltotto was by far the most rational person he has encountered so far. She was like his regular friends in way, and that he was happy to know. So in his own way, he could treat her like another high school friend.
But he had no idea how bad the damage truly was
Before Liltotto could even raise her voice, she felt a sudden touch on her head. As if she was somewhat of a little sister, Ichigo patted her head in hopes of her not overreacting. "There, there." The small girl was only getting more pissed. "No need to get mad, little one."
"I'm older than you!"
For a moment he took the words into consideration, but then he just discarded them as if they meant nothing.
"Mhm," he replied, as if he was talking to a child. Liltotto had actually given him a strong impression of Yuzu, although a bit less innocent. Nonetheless, he saw her just that. "Sorry, I just need anything I can get right now. My reiatsu won't come back for later if I don't eat a lot. I don't know really know, though, that's just what Haschwalth told me."
"I do know! I have the same thing!"
She was just absolutely baffled on how he could have been so selfish. Her own condition always left her in a state of hunger. If anything, she understood him right now more than anybody else. Ichigo started to a feel a bit of guilt as the pleading look in her eyes was demoralizing. "Just calm down...I'll make you some food later."
Make food?
She tilted her eyes in amusement, "You're a chef?" It was almost laughable. Being a chef simply meant just that. That's all you do is make food for others. It isn't exactly highly praised in Vandenreich. It is more of a non-direct, safe job which was meant for people who were unwilling to fight. It didn't match his special war power status. The Sternritter started seeing it as a contradictory description.
He coughed, "Well," Ichigo began, "I worked for this...shop. Sometimes I would do paper work, or I would make food, or even beat up gangs if they paid enough." Unagiya shop was an assortment of odd jobs. Basically, it was anything as long as they paid a reasonable price. "I can also make Oolong tea."
"It better be good." she threatened.
He felt a tug on his left arm, "Meni?"
Her bright green eyes gave it all way. He smiled and nodded to her. Meninas McAllon was by far the most "girlish" Quincy in the Vandenreich and had been interested in Ichigo the moment he arrived. She was never a fanatic for following Yhwach, and had only taken a small interest in the actual war. The "Power" cared about her appearance and social life more than the actual style of being in the military.
Their gaze was not welcome with others.
Ichigo felt another sudden pain reach his shin. Now annoyed, he swiftly reached down and pulled the assailants boot. It wasn't every day the female Sternritter could witness Bambietta get taken down so easily by another person. The girl had been taken off guard. The "Explode" was lying on the ground with her eyes widen in surprise. "Stupid midget!" he suddenly yelled before pinning her to the ground. Ichigo had no issues fighting girls just as long as they knew they could fight back. He would often fight Tastuki on multiple occasions.
She never had an issue being looked at by her comrades, but when the feeling was unplanned it could not be helped. Heat was rising through her body and the sudden color on her face could not be controlled. "Bambi..." he spoke softly. She flinched to his eyes and could only feel a rush of emotions as the look he gave was one of comfort. "You're red." If it wasn't obvious she was now more blistering than before.
His eyes soon go wide as he feels a sudden burst of strength. "You..." her tone was dark. Using Blut Arterie, Bambietta focuses her strength into her two left legs and hastily began to push Ichigo off. The orange haired fruit panicked as his body was suddenly lifted from his over-looking dominate position, to now being pushed on his own back. The Sternritter instinctively quickly pulled a blade and pounded him to the ground.
Her spirit weapon had been placed to his neck and it was just waiting for him to struggle.
"Relax, Bambi, just because you're done with him doesn't mean the rest of us are." Candice stood above the two and only watched with crossed arms. "Aww, I mean look at him, so cute~!" Ichigo felt her hands pinch his cheeks as she revealed her ferocious teeth. "I could get used to you."
She shrugged, "I don't know, maybe I should get rid of him before you're done."
"Mmm, the thought of Bambi-chan and Ichi-chan together..." Giselle's words had caused everyone to freeze, "And then with me...I...huh..." The girl had slid her right hand down in-between her legs.
"I think you are all just being insensitive." Meninas bent down and cuffed his cheek, "Not to mention you would probably kill him just when he is enjoying it the most." Candice cursed while Bambietta lowered her eyes.
"You're all deplorable." The four snapped to Liltotto who was still sitting down by the table. She was eating an assortment of candy while watching the events unfold.
"Ha! He called you a little kid! Flat chested bitch." The "Glutton" merely glanced with annoyance as Candice had her arms crossed with a smirk on her face. "Not like you had a real chance anyways."
"I don't want to be part of your circle of diseases."
"HEY! I'm the cleanest one here."
The situation for him had become completely turned around. Just moments ago, he was the one in control. The other four had simply watched with amusement as a flustered Bambietta was taken by surprise. Now, somehow, she had overpowered with him brute strength and had pinned a blade to his neck. He was a bit scared considering that she still had the same cold-expression in her eyes.
"As I said before, he acts like a child."
The five widen their eyes as they soon feel the presence of new Quincy arrive. It had been Ishida who spoke the words as he scowls Ichigo who only looks with a now nonchalant expression. Haschwalth had kept his eyes very close towards Bambietta, who realized the situation she was in and slowly backed off.
"Damn Bambi, he goes off to save you and this this is how you repay him? Not as graceful as I thought." Askin Nakk Le Vaar gave the girl a disappointing look while she merely scoffed him off.
"Doesn't matter if I'm a kid I'll still kick your ass." Ichigo shot back with a confident smirk.
The threat against the successor was just laughable by many, "This the guy?" a new face asks. Ichigo looks towards the figure and ponders in his strange appearance. The man was fairly dark with only have one eye open. His uniform was a sleeveless styled tank-top with white pants and boots. But the oddest thing about the Quincy was his abnormal weapon. The massive spirit tool was hung over the right side of his body as the barrel extends high in the sky. "Oh yea, now I remember."
"Who are you?" Ichigo asks.
Ishida sighs, "This guy will be helping you. Now c'mon Kurosaki, we don't have much time!" Uryu had become much of an annoyance ever since he arrived at the Vandenreich. He was always bossing Ichigo around as if he held some sort of authority. The teen did not like it. He had been named his rival ever since the two had first met and the challenge had continued even to this day.
Lille Barro was his name.
He was given the schrift, X, for the "X-Axis".
He had told Ichigo the two had somewhat similar powers and he was chosen to train him for that specific reason.
The man was the second oldest warrior in the Vandenreich. Only Robert Accutrne barely came third. But Lille was the first Sternritter, as he was given the first schrift. The teen had been curious of his upbringing. The Schuzstaffel leader had no issues explaining his past just as long as Ichigo promised not to disappoint as they fought.
Lille had a very interesting type of spirit weapon. His sniper, which he called, "Diagramm", had an interesting power. Ichigo could not figure it out at first as part of his training was always to be observant and to figure out what his opponent could do without them explaining it.
Many would think fighting someone with a massive sniper at point-blank range would give them a somewhat advantage. But the man had superb reaction speed. Every time Ichigo would try and get the upper hand Lille would easily be able to outmaneuver his sword strikes.
Using a bow would only end in failure. The man and his sniper were far more superior to Ichigo wielding a ranged weapon. The thousands of years the Sternritter had been alive had given him a considerable edge.
'I can't believe I can barely keep up.' Ichigo said to himself as he prepares to strike from above. The man simply stood and watched with lowered eyes as a burst of energy was charged from Ichigo's sword. The attack had not been massive, as the teen had barely any reiryoku within his body. He only tried charging it with reishi, which did not resonate as well as he had hoped. Lille simply extended his arm outwards and slashed the attack as if it was nothing.
"You're pretty fond of that technique." the "X-Axis" commented, "Would you consider it a signature move?"
Ichigo tilted his head, "Hmm... I guess. It was something I learned from my Zanpakuto and I just sort of have been using it for any type of weapon. Even if I didn't have it." his words confused Lille, "There's nothing really special about it. It's just a swipe of energy." It had been an odd feature. Getsuga Tenshou was an ability that was not sole to Zangetsu. Ichigo proved this when he used the technique with his fullbring...before it was stolen.
"That's because it is a Quincy technique."
The teen's expression dropped in disbelief, "Whaaat? No it's not. Stop with that, you know I had Shinigami powers!" Yhwach and other Sternritter were always trying to make these absurd connections that most of his powers had been inspired by his Quincy ones. Ichigo knew his Zanpakuto spirit, Zangestu, had been lying to him, but that does not mean the techniques he learned didn't come from his "Hollow." The boy sighed, "I know it is not because I can clearly remember using it in my bankai-form. Even when my body was taken over." He could clearly remember his inner being taking over his body when he nearly died fighting Byakuya. The visions of him launching a black Getsuga Tenshou.
"I ain't saying it's solely part of being a Quincy. Even non-Quincy beings can learn Quincy powers."
"Blah blah blah, my dad has the same ability so don't say that." Ichigo merely scoffed the man trying to teach him. When it came to training, he was often very arrogant and persistent towards those who tried helping him. In the case against the Visored, the teen had basically barged it and demanded they help him without even offering anything.
This was no surprise to Lille. Judging from daten, the intel on Ichigo had been 100% accurate. "I've read your entire profile. And when I meant that, I wasn't referring to your "Getsuga Tenshou." Ichigo widened his eyes in shock. Of course he had expressed his signature move in almost every fight, but he had never encountered a member from Vandenreich before.
His eyes slowly lower.
"How much do you guys...really know about me?"
"Let's see here. Kurosaki Ichigo...there we go." Lille Barro held in his hand some sort of notebook. This "notebook" seemed to be a hybrid between some tablet which was coated in Quincy reiatsu. The daten was a type of device which had intel on every Shinigami that was a notable threat. This of course being the Captains, ex-Captains, people not even in the Gotei 13, and even humans. Every Sternritter was required to thoroughly read threw it in order to gain a grasp of future enemies. Of course the word "required" was not reached through majority of the Sternritter. People only cared about the name of the Special war power unit, as they would be the ones which Yhwach would be most pleased with.
"Race: Human with former Shinigami powers. Grew up without realizing his true heritage of being a Quincy."
'All right, nothing too bad.'
"Notable Powers: Latent ability, has a mixed heritage, and is quick to adapt to anything thrown at him. Also noted to be the number one threat to the Vandenreich."
'Yea...'
"Appearance: Tall, orange-hair, fit body and aged to be 17."
'Not bad.'
"Marital Status: Currently in a relationship."
'Wait, what? Who wrote this?'
"Relations: Has fought Soul Society, however, seems to have been manipulated by the friendliness and taken as an underling rather than a comrade."
'Tch, I know that well.'
"Strengths: Immense durability, immense reiatsu, decent keen intellect, and master swordsmen. Has been known to fight Soul Society's strongest captains."
'Well I am that great.'
"Historical significance: Under the training of Urahara Kisuke, the fifth special war potential, had invaded and successfully accomplished his task in Soul Society. He was able to defeat the second war power, Zaraki Kenpachi, without a Bankai. Later on, during the Winter War, Kurosaki Ichigo defeated Aizen Sosuke after the man took down every Captain including the General-Commander in a non-spectated battle."
Ichigo felt some pride from hearing about it. He never really bragged on his accomplishments in fighting, but the fact that it made him a notable figure was interesting to know. However, the teens eyes soon dread low in sorrow as Lille prepares the final columns of the daten.
"Weaknesses." He took it slowly, as if wondering if Ichigo really wanted him to gone.
The younger Quincy scowled, "Oh c'mon, I barely have any downsides. I mean, look where I have gotten?"
The "X-Axis" merely stared blankly.
"Weak reiatsu control. Has been known to constantly leak it around him."
'Well, that's just...who cares anyways?'
"Open-mindedness."
'How is that a weakness?'
"Is known to trust and even at times, heal enemies in which he had defeated. No matter how much of a potential threat they come in the future. In one instant, it was reported he saved the life of an enemy who almost killed one of his closest Shinigami friends."
'Well that...that's just Grimmjow. And no one even died!'
"Failure to think far ahead. During the Winter War, he requested the assistance to assault the Arrancar-controlled fortress known as "Las Noches". Soul Society refused, but had only refused in hopes he would go off on his own. Once the area was known to be clear and safe, only then were reinforcements supplied. And that was after the Kurosaki group had been exhausted from long-battles."
'That did piss me off. But they came at a good time so it doesn't matter."
"Lastly... it is his overall human nature."
Ichigo raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Two years after his loss in powers, a creative assignment was sent in play by his Majesty. A mission designed to bring Kurosaki Ichigo into the Vandenreich."
'Nothing I didn't already know.'
"It worked flawlessly. Sternritter "E" had been chosen to compensate her own bad habits. It was from her report than the younger fighter was no different than an average human when it came to basic interaction. However, if one note could be given it is the simple fact that he becomes "too wrapped with me. And that he wished to see me again despite my own suspicious surrounding my background. It was if he lacked something, and that I somehow filled that something."
'She wishes.'
Lille saw Ichigo's expression, he was getting pissed. "Keep going. I know there is more." his tone now low. The teen looked over to his side and can see far off in the distance the very person who had recruited him into the Vandenreich simply staring with a blank expression.
"Last of the report says this," Lille said as he scrolls down, "His biggest weakness was the he simply too human. Too trusting, too caring, and worst of all, too loving. He was willing to drop his life to join me. I was the one who told him about his true heritage and about his mother. The shock of betrayal on the faces of his friends was hard for them. But I feel even if I had not told him, he still would have left with me."
"...I was not sure if he is an idiot, or just someone who wished to simply die. Either way, we have him."
ouch
Before Lille could speak, Ichigo stared up, "Who can read this daten thing?"
"...Every Quincy in the Vandenreich."
It was like a hammer had smashed into his chest.
The Schuzstaffel member sighed before placing his hand on Ichigos shoulder, "Look," he spoke, "We all got our weakness. Well, not me since I'm really a God. But don't take it personally. We didn't know who you really were till you got it. Most of us are glad you joined." The man handed Ichigo a heavy white canteen, "Rest for a bit and we'll come back. I'll bring someone in for a more intense training. I know you'll want to get it out of your system." Ichigo watched as the "X-Axis" vanished before his eyes.
It was a bit hypocritical.
For them to try and show him how evil Soul Society was. How they used them, and then dropped him.
'Isn't that what you're doing right now, Yhwach?'
'No doubt about it.' The Emperor spoke. 'But am I lying to you? Have I ever said a false song of hope to you?'
'I guess not...but-'
'But nothing. The truth is you're still trying to reason through this. And if you could do that, how would explain to that to your little affectionate companion?'
Ichigo flinched in surprise, 'What are you talking about?'
Yhwach merely smirked 'I am aware of you and Sternritter "E" having a... "relationship". While unprofessional, I do approve.'
God damn it.
When would he finally be done being taken advantage of?
Soul Society
It was beautiful.
The people, the architecture, the order, and most of all, the weather.
The bright blue sky was a source of inspiration of hope in the Gotei 13. That no matter how dark the days have come, the light will always be shining in this beautiful world. It was amazing to see how this place had evolved over the years. How much more it had expanded from being simply the Seireitei, to this massive land of Shinigami. This land had brought self-proclaimed "peace" throughout the world. The role was to guide humans and souls throughout the human world to safely make it through death.
This society was ancient. Its modern birth however derived from an actual brutal war. This war was started by a race of excelled humans known as "Quincy". These beings often had powers which disrupted the flow of souls throughout the world. If they had continued, it would have been likely that the world would have collapsed due to the uncontrollable and instability of souls.
The war had been... just that.
A brutal, blood-shedding, destructive war which ended in one side committing near-genocide.
After these events, the original leaders of the Gotei 13 decided to make a change in there doings. The war had influenced all of them in a way that they reformed the entire organization. They changed from being a military-ruling class, bent on using force for their wished into more subtle classes which had rules and laws keeping it together. This gave them a much more admirable reputation among the souls which dwelled outside of Soul Society.
It was the only way they could come back from there horrid past. But not was all mad. This had given birth to new Shinigami who followed there morals and always did the right thing before anything else. Just as long as it was in line with the law.
Things have changed from the original Gotei 13 being a bunch of murders, to now being a more reasonable, likeable bunch of fighters.
One of these more notable Captains had been a genuine person.
He grew up in Soul Society. Born to a noble household, his life been easy from early on. Growing up he had spent a great deal socializing with others rather than focusing on his own study. It was if he knew his own destiny when he was able to impress all of his elders through his natural talent.
Ukitake Jushiro, the Captain of the 13th Division stood idle as his eyes traced the clouds above. He had a hopeful smile on his face as he could recollect in past memories.
But he was not healthy.
The man had a secret.
'It is time.' the man said to himself before looking to the ground. He only watched with a frown, 'You gave me the life I have, and the only thing I have to offer you to is to pay you back for it. So, why am I so sad?' Next to him stood a shadow, but not his ordinary shadow. This shadow had a circular design with an eye painted in the base. It was gaining the reiatsu from Ukitake and growing at an alarming rate. '"It" is calling for you. Thank you, Mimihagi-sama."
'NO!'
He watched with shock as the shadow began to disappear, it's remaining remnants flashing back into Jushiro as if it was attached.
The right hand of the Soul King became its own God. It does not follow the will of the Soul King, it does not follow anything. It is a fallen God which was separated from its original host. It was the Shinigami which had cut of the left and the right hands. They also ripped out his heart and kept the King incased within a barrier meant for his own good.
The story of the Soul King was not a happy one.
"Need some assistance, young one?"
The 13th Captain turned around and widened his eyes at a familiar presence. Before him stood the commanding Shinigami of the Royal Guard. Ichibei Hyosube had a frown on his face as he notices Ukitake's struggle. "You grew up quite fast. I remember when you youngsters would wonder around Genryusai's chambers. Oh have the times have changed." Ichibei had once been part of the Gotei 13 long ago. He served with the 1st Commander while Soul Society was still an unstable mess. The two had parted ways once Ichibei was chosen to be the Soul King's new lead bodyguard. Yamamato simply vowed to defend him from below.
Jushiro frowned, "Right Ichibe-sama, I only wish he was here to lead us. For once in my life, I am unsure of what to do." his tone had become low, "I never would have imagined the Quincy could come back and bring this destruction." Ichibei merely observed the man as he sits on the floor. His body had become so weak that he could not even manage to stand without feeling the effects of his life-long sickness.
The monk sighed, "This land... had always been built on sacrifice. Shinigami over years and years of war, have all committed themselves to sacrifice. It is what has led the Gotei 13 to prosper and for the Soul King to keep his position in guiding the world." The man stared at the sky, "...And is it because of that, which will allow us to rise from this. We will win this war." Ukitake smiled at his words. The speech was one in which his former master had taught him many times.
"I suppose I can only do what Genryusai-sense would want. But I've been trying to release it before. As if it was rejecting my choice."
The Monk widened his eyes, "I see...so you wish to do your duty, even in the end. Young child, you are what makes me smile. Shigekuni would be proud." The great Monk made a few steps head and rolled up his sleeve. Flexing his immense right arm, Ukitake watched with confusion as blood veins being popping up to the surface. "This is the true Oken, child. Now, come and fulfill your destiny." Jushiro stood up and approached the man who then softly placed the edged of his first towards the ground.
A bright light soon coated the floor. Multiple Kanjis revealing the names of the current royal guard members surrounded the pool of light.
"Farewell, Ukitake Jushiro." The Monk said. "Yamamato is smiling from his resting place."
"Bammmmbbbiiii-chaaaaaan." Sternritter "E" looked over her shoulder to see the infatuated Giselle Gewelle. The girl was hovering around her with a happy expression on her face. "Whatcha' thinkin' about?" she asked. The "Zombie" jumped over the railing which separated the two and leaped next to her. "I thought I'd come down to see you since you were lookin' a bit lonely." The rest of the female Sternritters were also watching but were a bit farther a above in the back seating.
The de facto leader lowered her eyes, "Says you. I know you "play" with those zombies of yours." Her friend simply giggled in delight.
"You're smart, Bambi-chan!" The girl tried hugging her beloved friend but was only met with a fist which kept her head down. "Also strong! And cute, oh so very cute..." Bambietta never minded Giselle's constant attempt to try and gain her affection. She has tried for years, and the two had even experimented at one point. But the older Sternritter had grown away from those times.
If anything, it would be weird if she stopped trying to annoy her.
"So...I guess you're pretty happy, huh?" The goofy Sternritter had turned down her child-like attitude and tone. She was now staring ahead at Ichigo who was still standing idle withe Lille Barro. "You know, I was scared you were going to just kill him and that his Majesty would kill you." her voice had become soft and sad, "I wouldn't really want to live without you. We would all be lonely."
"Gigi...shut up...for once."
Bambietta did not wish to talk about past events. The situation surrounding that particular mission certainly had changed.
"I just...the thought of you not being with us hurt a lot." Bambietta cringed at the sight of her tears. Iit was something so trivial to get worked up about. "His Majesty was really upset with you and I think he was preparing to find a replacement. You and I are like lovers so...I..."
"We're not lovers, Gigi! Now go away."
The girl stood up and sighed, "I know Bambi-chan, I just wanted to tell you how I felt." For a brief moment, Bambietta had believed that her abnormal friend had decided to walk way. That is, until she took a swift action and had leaped in front of her. The female leader was not paying much attention, but soon felt a soft sensation on her lips before widening her eyes. Giselle tried to make the moment last by allowing her tongue to freely roam, but the girl knew she couldn't remain for long.
Taking a lewd and malicious act against her most beloved friend was nothing new.
And neither were the consequences which followed.
Lowering her eyes, the "Explode" was barely able to grab Giselle just before she tried vanishing away. Slamming the sharp heel end of her boot down onto the "Zombie's" foot, she was able to successfully keep her immobile. Feeling anger rush through her body, Bambietta launched her fist into Giselle's stomach, causing the girl to squirm and spit out blood. The pain was always something Giselle enjoyed, but it was the look in the eyes of the person she loved the most which made it all seem pointless. The two both had dark-blue eyes, but Bambietta had a cold, desolate, and furious gaze.
Gripping her neck with her free hand, the "Explode" slammed her "friend" into the ground. She placed her foot on top of her stomach just in case she would try anything again.
"Bambietta."
A low, male voice surprised the two. Ichigo stood with a blank expression. He wasn't as happy as he seemed before, but the two couldn't see it yet. Bambietta placed her foot off of Giselle and merely ran her hands through her hair. She internally cursed at the sight of some of Giselle's blood getting on her clothes but merely had no other choice than to deal with it.
"Hey." she spoke with crossed arms. Ichigo stood back with a stare which rivaled her own. He seemed pissed from the intense aura which emitted from his body. The Sternritter watched with confusion as he simply brushed right past her. He didn't intend to walk into her, rather it was she who had placed herself in his direction in hopes of something more...welcoming.
Ichigo now stood to her right, and had knelt down to a seemingly unconscious Giselle. "Gigi...what happened to you?" The boy noticed blood coming from her mouth along with the severe bruising on her hand, face, and neck. The "Zombie" had been lying on the floor in hopes of Bambietta trying to pull more action. However, the girl was cunning and lucrative. Taking advantage of his concern, she assumed he is somehow at odds with Bambietta.
"Oh I...*cough* Bambi-chan and I...we were just playing is all." He knew damn well that they weren't "playing". Ichigo had yet to realize that this was just normal thing to happen between the Quincy. It was not something which he never had encountered before. Sure the Shinigami would discipline their subordinates, but Bambietta had nearly beaten Giselle to death for probably nothing. Why would she hurt her subordinate so badly? And even if it was something serious, the "Zombie" was a friend. Who would intentionally hurt their friend so badly over nothing?
Their personalities may have been close, but there interactions with comrades certainly did not meet eye to eye.
Bambietta watched with absolute shock and confusion. Ichigo had placed one hand behind Giselle's head and the other under her legs. Giselle internally grinned as the situation had entirely titled in her favor. She snuggled her smaller body into his chest and only kept a left eye open to see the intense glare her friend was giving. Giselle had thrived on annoying and teasing her friend. This was just the best thing that could happen. It was always fun and games with the "Zombie".
Standing tall, Ichigo turned his head with lowered eyes. "Was she being an idiot, Bambietta?"
The "Explode" clinched her fists, "What is wrong with you?" she asks as if it wasn't obvious.
"Me!? Who nearly beat there friend to near death?"
"What did she even do? I don't see any marks on you!"
She sighed and could only wonder why the hell he is overreacting.
"Oh I'm sorry, am I being too human for you!?" Her eyes widen from his detailed worlds. They almost sound like...
"I'll ask again, was she just being an idiot!?"
"Or did she simply want to die!?"
The two had discussed this issue on that night. Where Ichigo was saddened to hear that the only reason they had met, was simply because of a mission given by Yhwach. She belittled this claim by saying she is still on the mission. After his obvious reaction, Bambietta had only said she was just "being a bitch" and that it happens from time to time. Ichigo had naturally become attached as he normally does to someone he knows for some time. She never made it too painful to be around and so the two had blossomed from strangers to friends. Of course in reality, it had become something much more.
Ichigo pulled the notebook from his jacket and threw it on the ground. Before Bambietta could get a good view, the three were interrupted.
"The hell is going on?" Liltotto asked. The small Sternritter observed the situation and could accurately predict what had occurred. Giselle of course, was being carried by Ichigo bridal style. Naturally, Bambietta was pissed off because she wanted to be attended to that degree. Even if wouldn't admit seeing Ichigo send affection to someone else was irritating.
"Bambi-chan hurt me." Giselle confessed softly.
Candice looked over, "So? She always does that."
"She hurt me real badly." The "Zombie" was giving her friend a notable wink which was seen by everyone except for the person carrying her. The "Thunderbolt" was slow to react from considering that Ichigo was still staring down Bambietta she could guess what had occurred.
Grinning, Candice decided to play along. "Bambi! How could you!? You're such an evil bitch!"
"Fuck you!"
Meninas was in total confusion. She didn't know what the hell was going on. It wasn't uncommon to see everyone arguing, but it was notable for her to see how Ichigo was carrying Giselle despite her injuries being very minor. The "Power" merely narrowed her eyes at the cunning smaller Sternritter who was merely gazing back. Giselle tried getting the attention of the busty Quincy, but she seemed to be in a locked state of confusion.
"C'mon Ichigo. We don't need this, bitch. We'll make you our new leader since you care about us." Candice Catnipp had struck a deep nerve from the de factoleader. Never has her authority had been challenged in the past. As they all know what happens when they disrespect the "Explode". The only difference now is that since Ichigo is involved, they have developed immunity from her attacks as any hostile act towards the special war potential would be an attack on Yhwach himself.
The absolute nerve.
It always hurt to see him walk away with her friends. She would just stand there and watch as they all had happy moments together while she remained alone in the dust. It no doubt hurt inside. But it had not been her fault. Giselle enjoyed being hurt! If only Ichigo had known the situation.
The nerve!
In the furthest areas from Silbern, there was a pit.
This "pit" was a large area which comprised of many different Arrancar.
The Hollows had been placed here due to their disobedience and refusal to work with the Quincy.
Their swords were confiscated, along with seals being placed all over their bodies.
Nnoitra Gilga had been the most notable of these figures as he coats his frozen wounds. The man had endured torture by the Vandenreich, but refused to break. His natural body defense gave him an edge when he taunted his captors. Unfortunately for his weaker comrades, they were forced to suffer.
But everyone felt the chilling pain from the frozen land. They all shivered together in this "pit" while skeletons surround them. Many were slowly breaking, but those tried to endure. Frozen bread had been the only consumption as they all lived on.
Haschwalth had forgotten about these tools because of recent events. He had placed the entire operation in Quilge Opie's command.
But the man had died.
And most had forgotten that Arrancar were around.
The Hollows were never going to bend the will to the Quincy. Not after being thrashed from Las Noches and taken as mere trash. Only two Quincy had even thought about them from time to time. Sternritter "V" creeps up the edge of the pit with a massive smirk on his face. To his side, stood Llyod Loyd who only lowered his eyes at the sight of such disgusting beings.
"Yo." Gremmy spoke.
The Arrancar all looked up with furious gazes. Only two deaths suited everyone in this situation. Slow malnutrition, or very slow hypothermia. It was this child who the one was even keeping them alive in the first place. Hollows were seen as mere wasted opportunity in the eyes of Gremmy, who was only most interested in funny things happen to everyone.
"W-What the hell is it, stupid kid!" Loly spat as she tightly grips her sister by the arm.
The two Sternritter gave each other nods.
"We're here to get you out."
I finally figured out how the story will play out!
So before the Arrancar had a big role, and I kept them alive for a reason. But I forgot about the original reason so I made up a new one.
There needs to be some more development between Ichigo and Bambietta to be called a relationship (officially) so soon. Also, this was a harem so next chapter will feature more of Meninas/Candice/Giselle as they interact with Ichigo.
But don't worry about the main pairing :D
I know many of you enjoyed Yandere Yoruichi back when I first wrote her so I haven't forgotten. I will make more time for all of them to get together and have just a fantastic time.
I decided to finish this mainly because it was my most popular, and how sad I was on how rushed (although it wasn't the original intention) it was. I really wish I could go back and have Bambietta live in the human world before Ichigo simply ran off with her. Would have made things much more better.
Welp, leave a review, it helps alot!
