Hi all! I apologise profusely for not updating this story in years! A lot has happened in my life, two of my beautiful cousins passed away, I got engaged and now I am getting married. I hope that I can finish this story and give it the finale it deserves – I'm still a huge MH fan

Margaret stared at herself in the mirror, her dark ivory dress suiting her to perfection. She analysed her makeup, hair, shoes and even her bouquet. When she was finally happy with the way she looked, she turned around and smiled at Peg Hunnicutt and Mildred Potter. Since Margaret left the Army, she had found a job as a Head Nurse at Portland Hospital and become incredibly close to Peg, after all, they were now neighbours. The reception was at a beautiful country hotel 15 minutes away from the Pierce house. Margaret and Hawkeye took that time to walk there on their own; they wanted some time to themselves.

"Hawkeye, I can't believe it. We're married!"

Hawkeye smiled at his new wife, "It took us a while to get to this point, but you know something? It was worth everything just to marry you. I'm never letting you go again."

"Trust me, I'm not going anywhere."

As they reached the reception venue, they stood outside for a moment to compose themselves. After all, there were 100 people in there waiting to hug them and kiss them congratulations. At that moment, they held hands and walked in…

I might continue this story, depending on if people still read it. Thanks for reading this!
