Power Rangers: Mystic Force!

Rootcore!

Jessica sat with Nick on the bench on the balcony of Rootcore with her head resting on his shoulder as they held hands just enjoying each other's company...

"Guys!" Claire's yell broke the quiet atmosphere, "Rangers!" Both Nick and Jessica looked each other before racing into Rootcore and over to Claire who was standing in front of the Fire Heart egg. "Come quickly!" They all surrounded her looking confused. "You've got to see this."

"Uh, I don't..."

"Sh, sh," Claire silenced him before the egg rattled.

The Rangers laughed with joy while Claire let out a squeal of delight as she turned to Xander.

"Did you see it?" Claire the Green Ranger excitedly, "did you see it?"

"Yes, yes, I saw it," Xander answered with a laugh, "it moved."

"Oh, this so great... so great..." Chip repeated, "I'm so excited..." Jessica looked at him as he paused looking confused. "What does it mean?"

His friends laughed and rolled their eyes.

"It means it's gonna hatch!" Vida answered.

"So, does anyone know how to hatch a dragon egg?" Maddie asked.

The Ranges all looked at each other while looking Claire thoughtless.

"Udonna would know," Chip suggested.

"Udonna's not here!" Claire yelled as she grabbed the Yellow Ranger and shock him.

"I know where we can find info," Maddie told them as she walked away from her friends and took a book that she held up to the others. "1001 Things You Want To Know About Dragons. Oh, here we are." Maddie had just turned to chapter 1. "Hatching Dragons. To hatch a dragon egg, you set the egg upright and..." Jessica was the first to notice Maddie frown. "Um... proceed to bludgeon it with a sledgehammer until open."

"Excellent," Vida smiled, "I'll get the hammer."

"Oh no, you don't!" Claire told them as Vida ran off.

Jessica about to go get Vida when the sound of distant knocking from the entrance to Rootcore.

"Do we even have a door?" Nick asked as he walked away.

Outside!

Jessica and Nick walked out of Rootcore to see who was knocking to find the Troblin was the one knocking.

"Oh, it's only Phineas," Nick told Jessica before Phineas groaned, "are you all right?"

"Do I look all right?" Phineas asked, "do I ever come and ever knock on your dragon nose thing. Do I ever wear a rather unflattering bandage around my head? Do I...Do I ever have a throbbing, pulsating, excruciating pain echoing throughout my mouth? Do I ever ask four questions in a row? Five..."

"You have a tooth ache?" Jessica asked.

"Aha!" Phineas laughed as he pointed at her, "bingo. Can someone please help me, before my head explodes?"

"Wait, let me see that..." Nick pointed, "say 'ahh'" Phineas did as he was told to and Jessica had to back up when the smell reached her. "Aren't there dentists in the woods?"

"Ah, yes...no...um, what's a dentist?"

"Someone you go to when your tooth hurts," Jessica answered.

"Well, uh, oh, there's the boulder roller," Phineas told them, "this little gnome, and he ties one end of a vine to your bad tooth, and the other to a 500 tone boulder. Hints boulder roller then, huh, rolls a boulder over a cliff, viola bad tooth removed or you know you go over the cliff with the boulder. Either way the pain is gone." Phineas ended up prodded his cheek with his finger, and groaned in pain once more. "Oh! I did it again."

"We got to get him to a dentists," Jessica told Nick.

Briarwood!

Once Jessica and Nick got the others and told them wants wrong the group of 6 took Phineas into town to get him to a dentists.

"It's all so tell and shiny," Phineas told them as they walked along the sidewalk.

A car horn honked loudly as the Troblin stepped out onto the road in front of it making Maddie and Vida who were on either side of the Troblin pull him back onto the sidewalk.

"You can't just go stepping off the curb, in front of cars," Xander stated, patting Phineas' shoulder, "ok, mate?"

"Thank you," Phineas said as he hugged him, "I didn't know. New in town and all." Just then a truck passed by them. "Wow. A lot of these car things. Oh! Oh! Can you eat them."

Jessica gasped as Phineas went to rush out into the streets, but Maddie and Vida grabbed him and pulled him backwards.

"Someone help me!" a familiar voice shouted as a second later Leelee came into view, "I've gotta find the Power Rangers." They all quickly hid Phineas as she came to a stop in front of them. "Monsters! Beach. Cave!"

"Leelee," Nick said as he moved towards, "we don't know where the Power Rangers are. Why don't you look on the other side of town and we'll look here?"

"You can never find those costume-freaks when you need them," Leelee complained as she pushed back the Rangers.

Jessica's mouth dropped open as she watched Leelee leave.

"Who she calling a costume-freak?" Vida asked as she pound her fist in.

"I take offense to that," Jessica told them making the others all nod.

"Sounds like there trouble at the beach cave," Chip stated, "wonder why the crystal ball didn't pick up."

"Hi, over here," Phineas broke in, "remember me? Yeah, the one with the tooth?"

"Oh yeah, someone should stay behind and take him to the dentist," Maddie agreed, "any volunteers?"

"Don't all jump at once," Phineas said, lowering his head, "I'm sure I'll be fine."

"Aw, Phineas," Vida cooed.

"C'mon, one of us has to stay," Xander told them making everyone to look at him.

"Hey guys!" they all heard Toby call out to them.

"Then again maybe not," Xander informed them as he turned around, "hey."

Outside the Cave!

"There it is!" Nick yelled as he points out the Cave when they drew closer already morphed, however, near the entrance stood a few Hidiacs.

"It's only a few Hidiacs," Xander said in disappointment.

"Hardly what I call a global alert," Chip said.

"Let's get them!" Nick told them as the Hidiacs charged in to attack. The Rangers all took on a few Hidiacs before flooring them. "Good job Rangers. Now let's check out that cave."

"Yeah," Vida agreed as they all ran into the cave.

Inside the Cave!

"Every body stop!" Nick ordered as he came to a holt only to have the others run into him, "I can't see where I'm going."

"Well, this help?" Chip asked as he pulled out his magi staff, "Magi Staff!"

The top of Chip's staff light up and the Rangers where able to see in front of them.

"Chip, you are a..." Maddie started, but cut off as she spied a frog on her gloved hand, "frog? Get off me! Get it off me! Get it off me!"

Maddie spun madly around before the Blue Ranger tripped over a stone on the floor and tumbled backwards into the cavern taking Nick and Xander with her. Jessica and Vida laughed as the other three Rangers rushed over to them just to make sure that they where ok.

"You can't be afraid of a little frog," Nick told her as Jessica pulled him back to his feet.

"I'm not afraid," Maddie cowered, "I'm petrified. Creep, ugly, slimy frogs..."

"Speaking of ugly," Vida said as the others looked over to see what she was looking. Jessica hide behind Nick when she caught sight of the mummy making the Red Ranger to raise an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"It looks like a Mummy," Xander answered.

"Hey!" Nick yelled, "over here!" Nick ran over to where he points at something while taking Jessica with him. "There's something else."

"What is it?" Maddie asked as they all ran over.

"It's a lamp with the Mystic Force crest on it," the Red Ranger answered, "a lost treasure and now it's ours." Nick dugged it out of the sand, but the moment he touched it, the ground rumbled and a bright light shone brilliantly making the Rangers all to stumbled. "Everybody hang on!"

"Not another Earthquake," Maddie said in slight fear.

Jessica stumbled backwards to only trip over a rock, but before she hit the ground Nick had quickly caught her which made the Black Ranger blush under her helmet.

"Thanks Nick," she thanked him.

"No problem." The Rangers stumbled around a bit before the shaking completely stopped which surprised.

"The shaking stopped."

"Yeah," Jessica agreed as she looked around.

"And what that large bang?"

"I know the answer to her question," they heard Necrolai's voice say from behind them making them all to turn around to face her. "That was you destroying the force field that kept me out of here. Now give me what I came for!"

"No!" Nick yelled as he shook his head while clutching the lamp, "you're not getting this lamp!"

"I'm not?" Necrolai asked before rushing forward and throwing 6 unexpected rangers aside. "You can keep your lamp!" Necrolai tossed Nick aside. "It's this I want!"

Jessica watched with a raise eyebrow as Necrolai picked up the mummy and disappeared.

"Where is she?" Jessica asked.

"She's gone!"

"And she took the mummy!"

"I got a bad feeling we'll see that thing again," Vida told them.

"Yeah, maybe," Nick kinda agreed, "at least she didn't get the lamp."

Rootcore!

Jessica stood behind Nick inbetween Xander and Vida as they all looked at the lamp.

"Yep," Maddie confirmed as they all stood around the lamp, "it's definitely the Mystic Force symbol."

"Maybe there's more writing," Nick suggested before he started to clean the lamp.

He blew off the dust before the lamp rattled against the wooden desk, as a burst of air shot from the top, and a giant cat appeared behind the Rangers.

"I'm the great Genie Jenji," the cat jiggled, "I grant you one wish"

"A Genie?" Xander asked

"Got a problem with that?" Jenji asked while holding up is paws in a fist form.

"No," Xander answered as he mimicked Jenji.

"Good," Jenji replied, "I hate violence." Jessica blinked as she looked at the cat. "Now, here's the rules. You're the master. I'm the genie. You get one wish, can't hurt anyone with it blah, blah, blah, blah, blah..."

"A real live genie," Chip said with grin, "always wanted one of those."

"One wish," Jenji reminded them, "don't take all day. Got a lot of other things to do, like sit in a cave for another 19 years."

"You blaming us?" Vida asked.

"Oh, so now it's blame the big cat!" Jenji responded.

"So, 1 wish, right?" Xander asked.

Jessica watched Jenji as he walked a bit away from them while listing anything from A-Z of what the Rangers could wish for.

"A to Z," Jenji told them, "anything your heart desires."

"I know just one wish," Chip said as he walked up to them with a smile, "I wish for 10 wishes for each of us."

Jessica face palmed having a good idea where it was going as the others smiled.

"Granted," Jenji told them making them all cheer, "like nobody ever wished for that before."

Jessica watched from the background with a sweat drop as Xander walked up to the genie having an idea on what he'll wish for.

"I wish for 100 diamonds," Xander informed Jenji as he held out his hand.

"You haven't washed your hands lately have you?" Jenji asked.

"Nothing happened."

"Of course not," Jenji told him, "you only had one wish." Jenji walked by them while Nick and Xander shared a look. "Carrot top wished for 10 wishes for each of you." Jenji turned to the others. "I granted that, thereby and henceforth nullifying any further wishes. Hey, it's in the genie contract." Jessica giggled quietly as the others complained while Claire walked in carrying the dragon egg. "Did I not show that to you?" Jenji spun around when he noticed Claire and the egg. "Ooh! Is that a dragon's egg? 'Cause I'm hungry."

Claire turned to look at them with a smile as Jessica walked over to her.

"Yes, it is," Claire answered him.

"Can someone say omelet?"

"Does you-know-who know that you brought home a stray cat?" Claire as she looked Jenji.

"Don't worry," Nick answered her as the others walked up, "I don't think we're going to keep it."

"It about to hatch," Jenji said as he walked a bit forward, "someone sit on it. It's uncomfortable, but it's the only way."

Claire looked down at the egg while the others looked at Jenji with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh boy."

Jessica covered her mouth to keep from laughing loudly when Claire actually sat on the egg.

"Good, good," Jenji told her, "now, the important thing is you can't get off the egg until it hatches."

"How long well that take?" Claire asked.

"A few minutes...a couple of days...sometimes a month...anything up to 30 to 40 years," Jenji answered making the rangers laugh, "kidding." Jessica shock her head with a smile just before it was replaced with a frown when the crystal rung. "Oh, more eggs."

"Evil doesn't sleep," Nick stated as they watched as Darkness appeared in the city, "we have to go."

"Ok, well, have fun," Jenji told them as they ran for the door, "play safe, I'll be gone by the time you get back."

"No way," Nick told him as he walked over and picked up the lamp, "you owe us wishes."

"What about the contract?" Jenji asked confused.

"Back in the lamp," Nick ordered as he held up the lamp to Jenji, "you're coming with us."

"Fine," Jenji sighed, "but, you should know that when it comes to fighting..." Nick didn't let him finished as he took the top off which sucked Jenji back inside. "I'm just a kitten." Jessica rolled her eyes. "Actually I think I forgot my keys." Poor Nick ended being jerked and pulled around as Jenji tried to escape. "Someone should keep an eye...do you want me to sit on the egg."

It took the Rangers awhile to get Jenji outside and head towards where they saw the darkness.

Briarwood!

The five Mystic Ranger meet up with the Silver Ranger as the ran to the center of town with Nick still trying to pull Jenji along.

"Look at that," Vida breathed in surprise, "I've never seen anything like it."

"Ok...well this was fun," Jenji said once he stopped struggling and peeked out of the lamp, "what's say we run home, grab a pillow, get under the covers, and hide?"

"At least," a voice sounded making Jenji return to the lamp, "the Power Rangers." Jessica gagged once she saw the Mummy only he wasn't so Mummified anymore. "Allow me to introduce myself? I am the destroyer of your world. I'm Imperious, the Dark Wizard of the Underworld."

"Don't call yourself a wizard!" Nick yelled as he stepped forward while the others all fell into a defensive stance, "Wizard's use their magic to help people."

"Your witch, Udonna, has misled you, Red Wizard," Imperious started, "magic is for filling you own desires. Come to my world and learn what real power is?"

"Thanks for the invite, but not a chance!" Nick yelled at him making Imperious wave his fan slightly before they Rangers were all hit with some kind of blast. "I just remembered that we've got a Genie here who owes us some wishes." Jessica stood up with the help of the Silver Ranger while they watched Nick, but kept an eye on Imperious. "I'll rub it and get Jenji to help us."

'This isn't going to end well,' Jessica thought as she watched Nick rub the lamp.

"Sorry, I just granted my own wish," Jenji apologized, "to leave!" The Rangers all watched as Jenji took off and hide.

"Some Genie, you are!" Nick yelled out at him, "fine I'll do it myself." Jessica watched as Nick pulled out his staff. "Magi Staff!" Nick then ran forward to fight Imperious only the villain to vanish just as the Red Ranger was about to bring his sword down. "Where did he go?"

Nick started to look around.

"A better question is..." Imperious started as he pointed his glowing finger at Nick, "where are you going?"

"NICK!" Jessica yelled as Imperious sent the Red Ranger flying before she ran over to Nick.

"Now you have to deal with Xander," the Green Ranger said as he grabbed his staff, "Magi Staff! Vine Power!" Vines shot out and wrapped themselves around Imperious who pretended to cry out for help. "Got ya."

The Silver and Black Ranger pulled out their own staff just as Imperious broke free from Xander's vines.

"You should be doing your magic at children's party," Imperious told Xander as he wrapped the Green Ranger in vines this time before he casted a spell that sent Xander to the ground. "Next?"

"Let's see how you handle Tornado Power," Vida stated as she lifted up her staff and then turned into a tornado, "I'm going to blew you away."

"I don't think so..." Imperious mumbled before he cast another spell and started to spin in place before hitting Vida, sending her flying and to the ground.

"You better cool it!" Maddie growled as she unleashed a water blast at Imperious.

"Entoa!" Imperious cast which sent the water blast back at Maddie and into the air.

"Try and stop this," Chip told him as lighting striked down on Imperious only for him to catch it on the fan he held. "But, how?"

"I have stronger magic that's how," Imperious answered as he brought the fan in front as lighting ran through it. "Ulafow!"

"Chip!" Jessica yelled as Imperious sent the lighting back at Chip and the Yellow Ranger ended up on the ground. "I've had it with you." The Black Ranger held up her staff that the tip glowed black. "Dark Hole!"

The winds started to pick up when out of nowhere a black vortex appeared in the sky above Imperious.

"Please," Imperious sighed in annoyance, "for one who controls the Darkness as well, your still weak."

Jessica let out a gasp when the Mummy looking man override her Dark Hole with his own magic and made it disappear before he blasted the Black Ranger to the ground.

"Well, how about you try taking me on?" the Silver Ranger asked, "Light Blast!"

Imperious let out a yawn as he just sent the blast right back at the Silver Ranger making her land on the ground next to Jessica.

"Jessica, Silver Ranger!" Nick called as he and the others all ran over to them, "that's it." The Red Ranger turned to Imperious. "Power of the Phoenix!"

However, Nick was unable to hit him because Imperious stopped the Red Ranger with his fan mid-flight and then sent him back to the ground.

"NO!" Chip yelled when Nick hit the ground.

"Hold on," Xander breathed.

"I would really like to help, but it's this huge fear thing that's stopping me," Jenji told them from where he was.

"I was misled into thinking that you be a more powerful adversary," Imperious said as he looked away for a bit before looking back at them, "Udonna has not chosen wisely." A purple magic circle appeared under him as he spun around. "But, now I'll show you real power! Vilatow!"

"Now that's just not fair," Jenji stated as Imperious grew in size.

The six Rangers stood up as the looked up at the huge Imperious.

"Oh, yeah?" Nick asked, "well, we got a few tricks to." The Red Ranger then pulled out his morpher. "Ready?"

"Ready!" the other 5 yelled as they pulled out their Morphers.

"Galwit Mysto Prifior," the 6 of them chanted before they grew to Zord height.

Once the 6 Rangers where in the Titan forms the where quick to form the MegaZord, however, Imperious was bigger then they where much to Jessica's shock. Imperious walked up to the MegaZord and kicked it to the ground.

"Come on," Nick told them as the MegaZord got back up while pulling out the sabre.

The MegaZord held up the sabre and the mystic symbol appeared over them in the sky before wings appeared from the MegaZord's back and it started to fly up.

"Oh look, a flea," Imperious said before he knocked the MegaZord to the ground making the Rangers cry out. "I am growing bored with this annoyance." The Silver Ranger has her hands folded together in front of her as Imperious held up his fan. "Mutra Vento!"

The MegaZord was blasted at once again by the spell.

"We're not done yet!" Nick yelled making the others nod.

"TITAN MEGAZORD! FULL POWER!"

The Rangers stood the MegaZord back up and then took to the air.

"Time to end this," Imperious growled as he went to attack again, but his and the Rangers shock Jenji appeared at the same height as Imperious.

"Who's the big cat now?"

"Jenji?" Nick asked in surprise.

"What's this?" Imperious asked in a growl.

"Alright," Jenji said, "who's your Daddy now Mummy?" The Silver Ranger cackled as Jenji did some hand movements. "Look at this! Look at that! What's in my hand?"

"Foolish Cat," Imperious growled as he went to attack.

"Nope," Jenji told him as he opened his hand, "it's the Power Rangers!" The Rangers were then finally able to get a hit on Imperious thanks to Jenji. "Being big is good."

"You were lucky," Imperious growled as went to hold out his fan, "take this!"

However, instead of a spell hitting Jenji and the Rangers, Imperious had lighting running up his arm which made him cry out in pain.

"Take what?" Jenji asked titling his head to the side.

"My magic is still weak from my time in the cave," Imperious mumbled to himself, "I need to recharge." Jenji once again titled his head to the side. "My apologizes for not destroying you as promised, but I well." Imperious turned as the dark magic circle appeared under him. "Luthar!"

"Yeah, well, your a bigger Luther," Jenji said as he held the MegaZord in his hand, "peace out Mummy."

The 6 Rangers all laughed as they returned to size and demorphed while Jenji returned to his lamp. The 6 Rangers grabbed the lamp headed back to Rootcore unaware that they were being watched.

Rootcore!

"Can't you just tell me the surprise?" Udonna asked as Vida and Chip lead out of Rootcore.

"No," Vida answered, "now keep your eyes closed until we say you can open them." The others stood behind them with Jenji laughing quietly.

"Alright...we hope you like pets...because we have a new cat," Maddie told her with a smile, "open them."

"It's me," Jenji said as Udonna uncovered her eyes, "I'm the cat."

"Jenji!" Udonna called as she went to hug the Genie.

Jessica raised eyebrow before looking over at Vida who was still smiling.

"Udonna, you haven't aged a day," Jenji told her with a smile.

"I think we can keep him," Xander told them making Vida nod her head.

"I've missed you so much," Udonna told the cat as she released him from the hug, "were have you been?"

"Well, let me tell..."

"Daggeron?" Udonna asked as she lost her smile, "Bowen?" Jessica looked even more confused now. "Do you know where Bowen is?"

"No...you see..."

"Some body help me!" Claire's cries for help cut Jenji off and the 6 Rangers along with Udonna ran inside. "It's going haaaatch!"

Claire was thrown off the egg, but was caught by Chip as the egg stood off right.

"What's going on?" Jenji asked as he appeared, "what's happening?" They all looked by at the egg as a little dragon's head poked out from the top before the dragon shook the rest of the egg shell off. "Waste of a perfectly good omelet."

"Mama," the Fireheart said as he looked at Claire making everyone laugh as the blonde looked confused.
