New chapter and i finally got my new laptop so i will be writing all the time now and have fast updates for you guys. (i wrote the last few chapters on my phone so it did take me a while. ENJOY the second half of the pathetic short chapter i posted a little while ago.

Once Thea was safely resting in the back room Oliver and Roy sat in waiting for Felicity to get to the club.

"Laurel?" Oliver asked picking up the phone.

Oliver could tell Laurel was crying by the way her breath sounded choked in her throat.

"Oliver." she cried. "You have to help me, my father. i don't know whats happened to him."

"Where are you? whats happening?" Oliver asked pulling on his jacket.

Roy came out of the back room where he'd gone to check on Thea, his eye brows pushed together as he walked over to Oliver.

"I came home and i found him, found him laying in blood. Oli this is too much blood to have lost without dying and, i looked all around him but there doesn't seem to be any cuts on him." Laurel was talking fast but Oliver caught every word.

Lance was affected by the blast and was going to die along with his sister.

"Oliver we're here." Felicity announced as her and Sarah moved briskly down the stairs towards him.

"Laurel i'm on my way." Oliver said hanging up the phone.

"Detective Lance is showing signs of being infected, i need to get to him and i'm going to bring him back here." Oliver said directing the group "You 3 stay here watch over Thea, i'll be back within the hour." With that he ran off.

"Thea," Roy muttered her name softly, dabbing a cool cloth on her forehead.

Thea's temperature had spiked way to high, she was sweating like her body was pouring out buckets every few seconds, no one wanted to say it but they all thought it. Thea's wasn't going to be around for much longer.

"I'm so sorry for everything. I love you so much, please just wake up." Thea was the last person Roy had, She was everything to him. she was family. "Wake up."

Thea let out a slight moan and her forehead scrunched in pain but that was the only reaction Roy would be getting.

"Roy? Oliver is back. we need your help."

"How's Thea." Oliver grunted lifting Lance up onto the steel table.

When no one responded with words just looks , Oliver nodded "It seems like there is no way to stop this, but maybe we can slow it down."

Felicity looked up from her computer station where she'd been desperately trying find anything and everything that could possibly help.

"This seems to be a long drawn out process, Thea's basically in a self induced coma now. Her body is trying to protect it's self but i don't think it can, there isn't any evidence or signs that i can stop this and slowing it down is just going to put them in more pain for that much longer."

"But there has so be something." Roy said, mostly to himself but the rest of the team heard him.

"I have a monitor on Thea now and her heart rate and vittles are showing serious signs of elevation, Her body is boiling and its going up more each hour. We've tried to help with cold cloths and ice packs but nothing seems to help it." Felicity said pulling up charts on her computer so the others could see what she was talking about.

"So she's going to over heat?" Sarah asked leaning closer.

"That's what its looking like."

"We can't just let them die Oli." Laurel sighed, holding her fathers hand in hers.

"How much longer do you think Thea has until she... Burns out?" Oliver asked.

"From what i can tell, maybe another day, two tops." Felicity's voice was grim.

"What does that mean for dad?" Sarah asked.

"Five days at most."

"i'm not going to sit her and watch Thea die." Roy said enraged, he started marching his way up the steps to the club."

"ROY STOP." Oliver yelled walking his way. "What are you possibly going to do?"

"I'm going to find Slade and i'm gonna kill him!"

Oliver tried to find Roy to catch up to him but, by the time Oliver got to the street he was gone.

"You guys stay here with Thea and Lance, call Digle back here and tell him to be quick getting back here. Roy's pissed off and with the mirakuru pumping like blood threw his system, he's going to be hard to stop. He was nothing to loss now that Thea's- dying, he's doing the only thing he thinks he can which is kill the other thing that is trying to kill the person he loves."

"What are you going to do, you cant stop him." Sarah exclaimed.

"I don't plan on stopping him, i plan on helping him. It's going to be Slade or us this time."
