Miroku didn't like how this man was looking at the women. Amy much to his displeasure was blushing at every compliment Lord Tatsuo made to her. It was then he realized that she was seeking attention not that she had experience in the bedroom. Now he was very intrigued by Amy, and he wanted to figure out why she wanted that kind of attention. Perhaps she thought that was the only way to be loved. He couldn't help but to feel sad for Amy never truly knowing what love was other than sex.

Lord Tatsuo stopped every so often during the tour so that they could ask the villagers in the area their questions. He ended the tour at his estate where he invited them in for dinner. He watched the serving girls serve the meal making sure to grab each one's rear as the servant passed him. Lord Tatsuo frowned at him saying, "Such unbecoming behavior for a noble monk."

Miroku grinned sheepishly saying, "It's a family affliction that I am trying to cure." Lord Tatsuo looked over at Kagome asking, "Is everything to your liking my dear." Kagome stopped stuffing her face a moment to say, "It's great."

Lord Tatsuo looked over to Amy who was more playing with her food than eating it saying, "How about you?" Amy looked up at him saying, "It looks nice but I am not used to this kind of food. I don't wish to be a rude guest but do you have any plan chicken and rice?" Lord Tatsuo whispered to the servants, and soon they returned with a simple dish for Amy. She blushed saying, "You didn't have to go through all that trouble just for me."

Lord Tatsuo replied, "It wasn't any trouble my dear now eat before it gets cold. How is your food lady Sango?"She looked over saying, "It was delicious I don't know what Amy's problem with it was." Lord Tatsuo replied, "Perhaps she is from a very poor village, and isn't used to such rich food. She seems to be enjoying a typical peasant's dish."

Sango looked over at Amy who was positively stuffing her mouth as if she hadn't eaten in weeks. Sango rolls her eyes saying, "Obviously too poor to afford chopsticks from the looks of it."

Lord Tatsuo looked at Amy who was failing at using chopsticks but obviously trying to eat as elegantly as she could. He sighed saying, "She appears to be making her best effort." He got up and sat behind Amy putting her hand in his helping her use the chopsticks properly. Amy blushed but allowed his help since she seemed to manage to get more food into her mouth. Once, Amy, had her fill she put the chopsticks down, and meekly said, "Thanks for the help Lord Tatsuo."

Lord Tatsuo nodded saying, "It was no trouble, my dear, I am sure with practice your skill will improve." He brushed her hair back out of her face he couldn't understand why he was so drawn to this woman. Miroku didn't like it one bit he put a hand on her shoulder saying, "We should return to the campsite before the sunsets so that we may leave at dawn tomorrow."

Amy turned her head and looked at Miroku his breath was taken away from what he saw with the blush staining her cheeks she was breath-taking. Amy looked at Lord Tatsuo, and said, "He is right we do need to move on early as we don't wish to attract demons to your village." Lord Tatsuo replied, "My dear I would like you to stay as I have grown fond of you. Would you consider my offer overnight?"

Amy didn't know what to say so she shook her head no although he was a handsome man she had to finish her task in getting rid of Naraku before she could accept. Amy finally got out, "I have a duty to fulfill but once my duty is complete I can accept the offer."

Naraku admired her determination, and honor but he didn't want her to leave to find him perhaps he needed to schedule an attack tomorrow so that they would want to stay help the village recover from the attack. Miroku escorted the women home keeping an eye on Lord Tatsuo the whole way back to the campsite. Once the Lord had returned to the village Miroku scooted close to Amy saying, "I don't think his intentions were honorable." Of course, he couldn't stop himself from groping her behind while he said that statement. Amy moved her hand to grope Miroku's behind asking, "And your intentions are purely honorable monk?"

On impulse Miroku kissed her briefly he caught the sight of a blush tinting her cheeks, and her storming off past the women who were laughing. InuKimi followed after her she knew the humans wouldn't as they had teamed up against Amy saying such mean things about a girl they hardly knew. InuKimi knew from experience that woman who behaved like Amy did were often troubled she wondered what this girl's story was. She found Amy sitting by a river bank looking at the sunset she sat next to her and asked, "Do you think it was wise to come out here alone?"

Amy sighed replying, "Most unlikely as I have a tendency to make bad decisions." InuKimi patted the troubled girl asking, "Would you care to share why you are the way you are?" Amy nodded saying, "Why not it will be interesting to see where you fall after you know."

InuKimi looked at her oddly Amy started out saying, "Well my dad left when I was three months old for whatever reason my Mom let him go not even getting child support from him. My Mother has done drugs and held down three jobs to keep a roof over my head. She met a man who now lives with us I seem to be an inconvenience to them both but her boyfriend likes to beat me, and often tells me what he'd like to do to me in their bed."

InuKimi felt bad for the girl no wonder why she was asking for attention the way she was for the first time in her life InuKimi hugged a human. InuKimi said, "You'll not return to that environment when our quest is done I shall take you on as my ward." Amy looked at the woman saying, "I am not from here I don't even know if I have a choice in the matter."

InuKimi was shocked it explained a lot about the girl's odd behaviors if she wasn't from the time period so she asked, "Where and when are you from should you go back I wish to find you. I will not abandon you to that fate."

Amy was shocked no adult had ever cared that much she replied, "I live in a country called America in the state of Colorado it's September 2008. I hope that will be enough for you to find me as I am not allowed to give out any more information than that. InuKimi nodded replied, "I will find you if I have to hire trackers to do it." She took Amy's hand and led her back to the campsite.
