A/N: MUST READ!
Hey guys I know it's been a while just so many things have happened and a lot is still happening. Now before we continue with this story there is a couple things you all need to know… After reviewing Chapter 11 I came to the conclusion that it really didn't flow with the story; making it hard to continue. So I re - wrote it and now it flows nicely. Although it's shorter, you're just gunna have to deal with it.
Walking back from the training hall with the children in tow, Natsu and Lucy made their way to the bar and ordered their afternoon snacks. Arashi ordering a strawberry milk shake like his mother and Ayame a chocolate one. Natsu and Lucy were deeply conversing about their plans to take a job together since it has been years after all. They were in such a deep discussion they didn't notice the guild doors open.
"Welcome back Laxus, you're home early" Mira said with a smile effectively stopping Natsu and Lucy's conversation.
"Yeah, we decided to call it off, while I came to talk to Lucy" he replied. Lucy nodded in reply.
"I wanted to talk to you anyways" She said with a shrug getting up to follow him to his office. "Ayame, Arashi stay at the bar with Mira and Natsu until I come back okay?" The children nodded in reply.
Natsu watch Lucy's retreating form, with worry etched on him face. Something didn't feel right, but he couldn't figure out what.
"Don't worry Natsu we all will know soon enough." Mira said with a smile.
"But Mira something's off, like something big is going to happen and I don't know what." He replied with a frown on his face crossing his arms over his chest going into thought.
Thinking back over the years since Lucy had gone missing. He searched everywhere for her and every time he got close to finding her, she would always disappear, then he was back at square one. Then she just miraculously shows back up with kids no less. He could tell that the girl wasn't actually hers' just by her smell, but the boy was hers' no doubt. Not only does he look like her but smells almost exactly like her. Though the kid's scent has being throwing him off, he smelled like cinnamon and oddly enough a campfire or something similar. God this was too much thinking, that was Lucy's job.
Back on the topic of Lucy, man she has gotten more beautiful over the years. Just the thought of her bring with another man pisses him off to no end. "If that fucker did anything to hurt my Lucy, I'll hunt him down and make him wish he was never born" Natsu thought. He was pretty sure he made his feelings known that night, especially he and Lucy did that, apparently not since Lucy left a few months after. He sighs once again, man he was doing that a lot lately. Looking at the two children seated to his left, who were talking amongst themselves. Lucy what are you up to?
Ahem so, do you guys like it? Is it better? Love it? Hate it? Let me know. On to another subject, my laptop is getting fixed yay! My teachers are no longer on strike, so I'll be in actual classes again and won't be wasting my time. So the next chapter should be out towards the end of March maybe sooner.
