Chapter Eleven: Rise Of The Fabler (Part 1)
It was just under an hour later that Jack, Reece, Dawn and Rose landed in North's workshop. They saw that Sandy and Pitch were awaiting them, North and Bunny were both asleep and Tooth was busy ordering fairies around to try and keep everything flowing.
'Are you four ready?' Sandy asked them and they nodded, each still wearing their royal outfits, with that Sandy created five whips of dream sand and connected them all and then they felt it, a tug and they closed their eyes and in an instant were within the Dream world of Jamie Bennett.
"Always thought it would take more work than that!" Reece smiled as he opened his eyes, looking around,
They seemed to be in Burgess around Winter, Frost covered each of the Windows, leaves and the ground was covered in a layer of snow,
They all started to walk, and soon found a trail of foot-prints,
"We need to find the Dream-world Jamie… it's a sure fire bet that he's going to be Targeted by the Trickster" Jack told them, they all nodded and followed the footprints and found themselves outside a building Jack knew well, Jamie's house.
"This must be where Jamie's hiding!" Reece smiled, the other four nodded and smiled,
They opened the door to Jamie's house and then Sandy grabbed Reece's arm,
'Only Jack should go In'
With that they all nodded, Jack walking deeper into the house while the other waited outside,
Jack guessed that Jamie would be in hiding in his room, Jack walked up the stairs and opened the door to see Jamie standing awaiting him,
"I knew you'd come" Dream-Jamie said, "And I've waiting for you"
Jack almost frowned at the tone of Jamie's voice, it didn't sound its usual self, it sounded a lot more confident, and in a way, seductive.
"We need to keep you safe" Jack told him,
"But the safest Place, is definatly right here" Dream-Jamie said, pulling himself into Jack's arm's,
"O-o-ok" Jack breathed, this was a side of Jamie that Jack had never seen before, but was starting to like,
"Hmm, so safe… Jack…. You know I always lo…." Dream-Jamie began as he started to close the gap between their lips,
"JACK, HE'S NEARLY HERE!" Reece called,
Jack cursed loudly, before looking at Jamie,
"Listen Jamie, when we get back to the real world, we'll finish this alright?" Jack told him and Jamie nodded, "In the meantime, stay here, we need to keep you alive and safe"
With that Jack rushed down stairs,
"You couldn't have waited one more minute?" Jack scowled at Reece, who was completely unaware of what had transpired upstairs,
"Sorry Jack…" Reece shrugged, before they all heard it, snow being compressed, they kept their backs to it, holding their weapons at the ready.
"Well, well, well, this is a surprise!" a voice called, "I should have killed that Child last night"
The five of them turned to face the Trickster, he stood in the form of a Giant wolf, but swiftly transformed into his usual form,
"So this is intriguing, the Seasonal Rulers, dragged away from conflict to save the life of one mere child!" The Trickster frowned, "My Question is why?"
"because he saved us all, and defeated you, that makes him special" Reece smirked, "and plus, the look on your face, is truly outstanding!"
"Bah!" The Trickster growled, "You shall all learn that in this world, I am by far the more powerful than your mere Balance circle!"
"Actually, I think you find, your in Sandy's world now, where he is absolute ruler of all things" Jack smirked, stepping aside to reveal Sandy standing there, whips in hand.
"I think that my warriors can handle him!" The Trickster smiled as Daemons appeared on every side, "Kill the boy"
The Daemons all tried to run inside the house, but were sent flying back by either the wind of a blast from one of the Rulers.
"Oh for all the lost souls!" The Trickster cursed, "Destroy them!"
With that the Daemons all rushed at the Rulers and Sandy, weapons drawn.
"Ready for that new trick we practiced?" Dawn whispered and the Rulers all nodded, withdrawing four identical blades and thrusting them down into the ground,
"With the Power of the four seasons, its rulers use their powers combined, creating!" They all said as one, withdrawing the swords, which seemed to be emitting a pure white glow,
"THE SWORDS OF NATURE!" They all called as the blades light dimmed to show four gold swords, each bore three gems within it, Ruby for Summer, Emerald for Spring, Topaz for Autumn and Sapphire for Winter, each sword was easily to determine who it belonged to, they bore the gems of the other Rulers (Jack would have, Summer, Spring and Autumn).
They rushed forward and swung their blades around, destroying all the Daemons that rushed towards them,
"Enough!" The Trickster roared, "You shall fear me, I can become anyone, anything"
The Trickster then began to transform once more, this time, he was wearing pearly white armour, and seemed to be emitting a white glow,
"Even The-Man-In-The-Moon's form is not beyond me, nor his Powers" The Trickster smiled "Moonbeam!"
With that a blast of light went flying towards the five of them,
"Summer Strength!"
"Winters Wrath!"
"Spring Strike!"
"Autumn Attack!"
The four ultimate Nature attacks clashed with the Moonblast and they all faded,
"Very clever" the Trickster smiled, "But I still have my tricks"
In an instant, the Trickster faded and reappeared, this time, there were two of him, again and again he copied himself, until he had ten clones, who all started to become a new spirit,
Manny, Anny, Natura, Father Time, Galactica, The Four Sheppard's and Pitch Black now stood before them,
"It seems that you are now outnumbered, outpowered and outskilled, surrender now, and I will let you leave this dream alive" The Trickster impersonating Wynter told them,
The five of them looked at one another,
"For Jamie" Jack smiled, as they shared a Glance, knowing in an instant, what they were going to do….
And Cliffy!
Its been ages since I left something off in a cliffy…
