A/N : Heyo, minna-san! I'm back with a new chapter I thank all of my readers for the wonderful support, the reviews give me so much courage to write *happy tears* Thank you so much! Much thanks to my silent readers, followers and who favorited this story, too. You equally give me the courage to write. However, I have bad news. I will not stop to write this fanfiction, however now that school started again, I won't have much time either, because it will get super difficult to keep up with school and writing. Furthermore, I have some other things going on, so….. I promise to update as much as I can. Thanks for understanding and as an apology a new chapter. BUT, thankfully the summer vacations are just next door and I should be able to update more ;)
Enjoy!
Warning: Cursing, make-out session, brotherly love ,^^, grammar and spelling mistakes (1.I don't have a beta reader, 2. English isn't my first language), OCC-ness
Disclaimer: I don't own the character of KnB, the only things I own is the plot and my many OC's, who truthfully confuse me. I shouldn't have made so many, should I?
~Chapter 11 : Panic and an uneventful evening~
11: 30 pm.
Aimi nervously watched her big brother pacing around the room. Thank god she was a patient human being.
One step, two steps, three steps, halt, turn around, one stop, two steps, three steps, halt-
"FOR FUCK'S HELL! COULD YOU STOP PACING? I'M GETTING A FREAKING HEADACHE FROM JUST WATCHING YOU!"
So much for being patient.
Instantly, Haruko froze in his steps and turned his head to glare at his little sister. "Well, I'm sorry for giving you a headache littler sister. I'm not sure about you, but I AM worried for Tetsuya! Did you see what time it is? He's half an hour late and he's NEVER late since Junior High School. What if something happened to him? Oh my god, what if someone KIDNAPPED him? Aimi, quick call the police! We have to report a missing-"
Aimi, who was used to this, stopped listening and returned her attention to her forgotten magazine. Unlike her brother, she wasn't so worried about her long-time friend since she knew that Akashi would take good care of him. Unfortunately, Haruko didn't know that they met Akashi and Aimi absolutely refused to tell him. Not because she didn't want him know, no, because she loved to tease her brother, it was amusing to say at least. She knew that it was mean and felt A BIT bad, but how many chances did she have to see her brother like this? Everyone knew that Haruko was a calm boy who didn't panic very often. He always thought over things before making a judgement.
Somehow, he was unable to think over things when it came to her childhood/ best friend.
Of course, she understood why. If she hadn't known where Kuroko was, she would be panicking with her brother right now. Thinking of it, she felt worse and worse, so she opened her mouth to tell Haruko about Kuroko's whereabouts, but her attention was captured by the person who entered the lobby of the hotel, she and her brother currently stayed in since 23:00 pm.
Haruko stopped his rant by seeing the person in the room.
"Kagami! Did you find him!?"
Oh, did Aimi mention that Haruko sent the whole boy's team to search for Kuroko and that he would train them personally if they didn't move their asses?
The boy's froze immediately at this statement. They KNEW that Haruko was worse than Riko. For the girl's, it was a very amusing sight to say at least.
The ace of Seirin rubbed his neck, a sign that he was nervous.
"Ahh, no. Sorry. We searched everywhere we could, but we didn't find him unfortunately. Besides, you can't expect from me to actually find him, I'm still not used to his low presence, unlike you two." The last sentence was growled under his breath, as Kagami frowned at the fact of not finding his best friend. Where the hell did he disappear to?
The older Kobayashi sighed sadly. It would have been too good to be true. One thing was for sure, he would punish Tetsuya for making him worry so much!
He smirked at the thought of it. He already had the right punishment in mind and kami help Tetsuya or he wouldn't be able to walk, let alone move a muscle in the next few days. Quickly as the thought came, he shook his head and concentrated on the momentary problem. He wouldn't get to punish the shadow if he didn't even FIND him!
As if unintentionally summoning the boy his thoughts were occupied off, he appeared at the door with an unusual smile on his face.
"Ano, sorry for my tardiness, I got caught up with some serious matters. I deeply apologizes if I made you worry." He then politely bowed to them, but his smile didn't vanish. When he straightened up he raised a baby blue eyebrow. What was wrong with them?
The older of the Kobayashi siblings stared at him as if he was a ghost that just popped up from nowhere, Kagami scowled and muttered something under his breath that he couldn't quit catch. Aimi was openly grinning at him as if she just received the greatest gift in the world.
Honestly, what was up with that smile?
Kuroko knew that she knew that he and Akashi were on good terms now, why else would his best friend since childhood smile like that?
The other two were apparently traumatized by his smile, which he could understand, because honestly, when does he ever smile?
Haruko finally came out of his numbness and stomped angrily towards him.
"Kuroko Tetsuya! Where the hell were you? Do you have ANY IDEA, how WORRIED I was? You could have at least left me a message that you were gonna be late, but NO! You just show up lat-"
"I would be very happy if you could stop yelling at my friend. I don't particularly like seeing him being yelled at for something that wasn't his fault."
Kagami froze. No, everybody expect him! What was he doing in the hotel? He had to leave now or he would get stabbed for real! He just begun to turn around and take his leave.
Somebody, please spare his life!
"Stay where you are Taiga!" God, that goddamn threatening voice!
Was that scissors he could hear?
His back went instantly rigid. Sweat was erupting under his hands and the hairs on his neck stood up.
While Kagami bid farewell to his life, Aimi was laughing her ass off at the ace's reaction. She shouldn't find it funny, but it was hilarious how Kagami panicked around the newcomer.
Haruko just stared a bit surprised and stopped his ranting.
"Akashi-kun, please do not threaten Kagami-kun. As you see, it's not really good for his health." Deadpanned Kuroko and stared at his not-quit boyfriend with a slight frown on his beautiful pale face.
Akashi's smirk that he threw at the panicked ace vanished as soon as he heard his beloved voice. His eyes softened immensely at the sight of his Kuroko. "Of course, I apologize Tetsuya." Everybody noticed the fact that Akashi didn't apologize to Kagami, the person he really should have apologized to.
But then again, Kuroko is the only one who can get the strangest and unusual reactions out of the captain.
"I..I think I should go. YES, I probably should call the others that Kuroko has bee found, save and unharmed. Haha." With a nervous laugh, Kagami dashed out of the lobby and to his room. Every place was better than lobby where the devil's son was currently standing in.
"So, Akashi-kun. What are you doing here?" Kuroko and Akashi could hear the fake innocence in Aimi's voice. Haruko ,on the other end. was either ignorant not to notice his sister's voice or he really didn't catch it.
"Yes, Akashi mind explaining?" He wasn't really angry that the captain was there. On the contrary, he was quit happy, because that meant that Akashi and Kuroko could finally make up. It was easier than he though it would be!
Akashi's voice brought him out of his mind.
"I'm surprised that you do not know, Haruko-san. Aimi should have told you, should she not? After all, I both met them in the city. I was with Tetsuya the whole time and I did not want him to go home by himself, so I accompanied him here. I am sorry if I was disturbing something."
"Oh, no no. Don't worry about it. I'm actually glad that he was with you and not alone. My dear sister however," He paused to glare at his not-so innocent sister, who just smiled smugly. "never mentioned that Tetsuya was in your company. She just burst into the room declaring that she forgot to do a task and left Tetsuya alone, so he could inspect the city. So, he was in your company the whole time Akashi?"
At Akashi's small nod, Haruko walked calmly to his sister, grasped her forearm and yanked her up off the chair she was sitting on. "Well, Tetsuya, Akashi, if you would excuse me. I have to teach my dear little sister a lesson, WHY she shouldn't lie to her BROTHER. Good night Akashi."
Haruko started to walk towards the stairs that led to their rooms. Aimi was mildly panicking, but not very much since she knew that something like this would happen.
Well, shit. She was sure that she was in for a nasty punishment.
"Oh, and Tetsuya?"
Three pairs of eyes turned to the coach, who stooped in the middle of the stairs and was looking at Kuroko dead in the eyes. His arm still clutching his sister's forearm.
"WE two are having a nice, long chat after I'm finished with Aimi."
With that, the older Kobayashi went up the rest of the stairs, leaving two unimpressed boys in tow.
"Well, Akashi-kun? Do you want to come in for a bit? I mean to my room. I'm sure that Haru-nii will take Aimi to his own room, so we should be alone for a while."
Akashi furrowed his brows until it dawned on him.
"Tetsuya, do you share a room with AIMI?"
Not even the mighty Akashi could hide the jealousy out of his voice.
Kuroko blinked, not knowing what the problem was. "Ano, is that a problem Akashi-kun?"
God, Kuroko looked to cute at that moment, so Akashi decided not to voice out his thoughts.
But, he had to talk to Aimi really badly.
With a sigh, the taller of the two responded. "No Tetsuya, there isn't a problem, but..."
He stopped to glare at his love, who looked at him, despite his glare, unimpressed.
Heh, typical Kuroko.
"Why are you calling me 'Akashi-kun'?. I think I told you to call me Sei."
"Sei-kun" Replied Kuroko bluntly.
There. He said it. Akashi should be happy now, shouldn't he?
Akashi just let out a sigh, made his way to Kuroko, took his hand and gracefully went up the stairs. They were on top of them and-
Oh wait!
"Tetsuya, where is your room?"
"Oh, we have to turn right. I tell you were to stop."
Akashi walked again, tightening his hold on Kuroko's hand.
The hallway was spacious. A red carpet was laid on the floor and creamy walls ,with beautiful pictures adorning them, were shown. Of course, the heir of Akashi corporations, didn't expect anything else from a 5-star hotel.
While they walked down the hallway, a thought occurred to Akashi.
'Hm. Time for that nice, long chat, huh?'
A/N : I know, I know. This story is going extremely slow, but I won't rush things. It just will destroy the story otherwise. You may already noticed that this story is going to be extremely long, heck the drama didn't even star and then there is all the good stuff, like fluff and lemons,and...ah wait, speaking of drama. I think it should start in two or three chapters, so you people can look forward to it ^^
Until next time!
