Not a sound was heard within the storage room as Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie stared wide eyed at Jeremy and Foxy. The night guard panted while handing the paper he held onto over to Freddy, "h...here, it's a note...s...says he wants Bonnie...i...in parts and service before 3...ho man I am so out of shape." Freddy looked over the note before sighing and shaking his head, this was the last thing any of them needed and it was clearly evidenced when Bonnie emitted a scream of rage, stomped over to Foxy, lifted the vulpine pirate from his feet and glared at him with black soul less eyes, "you...promised...to...watch out for him...and this is what happens?!"
Foxy flinched and growled some at Bonnie while fighting to get out of the rabbit's grasp, "oh don be blamin this kidnappin on me now, twas not my fault ye got upset oer a musical instrument!" Bonnie screeched again before rearing back, ready to slam a fist into the pirate's muzzle only to blink when a strong paw grasped his arm, the purple rabbit glancing back and wincing under the stern glare from Freddy.
"That's enough from the two of you, yer both actin like children! Besides, we got a real crisis on our hands! Bon's missin...a fire was started today...and Chic said she met with Golden...now as much as I'd like to write these off as mere coincidences...this note...this here note you found...I know Golden's penwork any day of the week...I've seen it before...Foxy, I apologize fer not believin ya...Bonnie, it's an obvious trap and I suggest not goin." Freddy barely moved when Bonnie stared at him with the same wide blackened eyes before growling some at the animatronic bear.
"Are you telling me that I should abandon my brother to...whatever that golden son of a bitch is going to do him?! Are you seriously telling me that Fred?! If you are, then your processor is more rusted and worn down then we originally thought! Like hell am I just going to sit here and let some unknown animatronic do what he wants to my brother!" Bonnie growled before starting to march out of the room, only to pause when Jeremy cleared his throat, "um...I...actually met someone...someone I think who can help..."
Freddy and the various animatronics stared at Jeremy, the night guard adjusting his collar some before turning his tablet on and setting the camera to the backstage camera, only to blink at the empty spot where Springy had sat, "huh...he was there before...but in the backstage area, I found a section with a bunch of newspaper clippings detailing most of the history you guys had...along with another animatronic...Springy the hare...he was Golden's partner when they were active...he might know what we can do to help Bon, but he needs serious repairs and we need to find him first."
"Jeremy...are you sure we can trust him? If he does exist and what you say is true...what's to say he wouldn't be out to help Golden bring the pizzeria down around our ears?" Freddy blinked when Jeremy looked up at him with a sorrowful look, "because for 20 some years...Springy had to live in isolation with knowledge of killing someone...if he wanted to do something, he'd of done it years ago." Freddy frowned and took the moment to pull his hat off and run a paw over his head before sighing and putting the famous top hat back on and nodding.
"Then what are we waiting fer? If we can find Springy, we'll be able to get Bon and maybe put Golden's plans to an end!" With that everyone with the exception of Chic let out a cheer and began to head out of the room in a hurry, the mangled chicken raising one of her torn up wings only to frown when all but Jeremy had left. The night guard stared at Chic and shook his head before approaching her and kneeling down to the mangled animatronic, "I can't forgive you for what you and Fred tried to do to me and Bon...I have nightmare almost every single when I manage to sleep...you hurt me, you hurt Bon, you hurt Mangle, you even helped hurt Marion...but I will give you a chance to start making things right...and who knows, maybe we'll become friends...sound fair?" Chic felt some tears of oil drip down her face, this man, this person whom she tried to kill was giving her a chance at redemption and like hell she was going to say no. Nodding quickly, Chic felt a burden lift from her shoulders as the young man held the door open for her, the mangled chicken crawling through the doorway, intent on not squandering this chance.
-Elsewhere: 1:45 AM-
The man narrowed his eyes as various numbers and letters popped up on the computer screen in front of him, the AI they had implemented into Fredbear was complex beyond rational thought and it took the man several hours just to lock it down after it nearly revealed everything to the broken down scrap pile known as Springy. "Nearly everything ruined because of a dumb rabbit! I think a power play is in order...especially with Goldy dropping the 1987 shit...I still have him under my control, but I can't make a wager on how much longer that will stay...yes, I think I need to make a visit to a dear friend of mine...someone whom I know very well..." The man smiled almost evilly as he glanced up at a newspaper clipping showing him shaking hands with a much younger Freddrick Fazworth.
"Oh boss...I think it's time we meet up again...as I've always been here...watching...waiting...I almost had you when you decided to reopen that death trap...so I decided to get a lil pay back for the trauma you caused...unfortunately, my shot missed, but it still had an effect...I could see the doubt on people's faces and the fear in those dumb robots' eyes...and like a domino effect...things are falling apart around you..." The man grinned as he got up, adjusting his purple jacket and dress pants before grabbing a similarly colored hat and setting it on his head.
The man then turned and looked into a mirror, noting the brown hair that stuck out from under the brim of his hat and piercing blue eyes that seemed to have seen too many terrible things happen. "Night time security guard wanted...hours of 12 am to 6 am...$120 per week...and don't worry bout the killer animatronics, they're only going to stuff you in a metal suit, nothing bad can happen though, just make sure you ration your power and keep them out of your office...damn them...damn them all to the hell they crawled out of...luckily for me, that Schmidt guy showed up at the right moment and...well...accidents do happen" The man chuckled before looking up at another newspaper clipping and frowning at the title, "Bite of 87...Father furious with Foxy...no, that's over...Mr. Fazworth, time to talk." With that, the man grinned as he grabbed a 45 caliber revolver and stuck it in a holster tucked under jacket, him then heading out of the room and locking the door.
"Remember Fazworth...those who do not learn from the past...are doomed to repeat it"
-the Pizzeria, outside the Parts and Service room: 2:00 am-
Springy growled as he dragged himself across the floor, whomever had taken Goldy and that younger bunny had set Springy's processor into over drive, "aH w...w...WIll FI...Fi...FIND y...OU, Ya HEaR m...m...mE?! Ah...WhO am A...A...Ah kiDdING...Ah bARelY fUNctION..." Springy sighed as he continued to drag himself across the floor of the pizzeria before finally just laying still, his joints were rusted and sore, his servos were dead set on locking up, and his processor was running low on power. Ah'm sorry Goldy...Ah just can't do it, not in my condition...Ah can almost feel my body shutting down...and not temporarily either...that poor youngun...ah really wanted to help him, but what can a rusty ol scrap pile like mahself do? Yer outdated Springy...yer servos are locking up, yer gears are worn and rusted, there's holes in yer suit...face it, yer just a worn out piece of metal with a name attached to it...guess ah'll just lay here and wait...no point in tryin ta get back ta my spot
Springy sighed and felt his one good ear wilt a bit, the hare desperately wanted to save his friend and the young blue bunny he had seen, but he was just too worn and too out of date. Deciding to wait for his power to finally give out, Springy relaxed and closed his eyes, waiting for the moment when his servos would finally and completely freeze. What happened next was something the hare did not expect...voices and the sound of feet rushing towards his direction.
"Jeremy, do you know how to repair him?! Ah think his processor is giving out!"
"Ah the poor matey...left all those years in that dark place by his lonesome an we never knew...hang on there lad, don be goin ta Davey Jones locker jus yet!"
"Here this section here Jerm-jerm, open it up and you should be able to find his main servos...cmon on man, stay with us now!"
"Bonnie, he's fading, Jeremy you must act quickly..."
Springy felt his back panel being opened up and someone adjusting some parts in him along with giving him some fresh oil on his joints and servos, eventually new life stirred in the old hare's body as he opened his eyes and blinked before turning to look at the ones that had just pulled him back from complete shutdown, the hare then focusing on Freddy and blinking again, "a...aRe...aRe you A f...f...fRiEnd of GoLDy?"
Freddy smiled softly and shook his head before extending his paw to the withered and worn animatronic, "that depends...he's taken a member of our family and we intend on getting him back...and we're hoping that you'd help...seeing as you've known Golden a lot longer then any one of us..."
The hare blinked and stared at the various animatronics and the one human, they had brought him back because they needed his help...he was needed...for the first time in well over a decade, Springy was needed, "a...a...ah'Ll hElP in AnY w...w...WAy aH can...bUt...GoLDy's NoT t...t...the BaDgUY h...h...heRE ...hE's a vICtIm himSelf...aH KnoW GolDY all TOo weLL...hE's a PrISoneR iN hIS own B...B...Body...aND HE sAiD it's FR...FRom 19...19...1987...dUnnO whAt thAT meaNS thoUGh."
For a second, time froze for the animatronics, Freddy blinking and shaking his head some before turning back to Springy, "sir, I'm gonna need you to come with us...maybe you can help both Golden and our family member..." it can't be him...no...I'm certain he was killed...there is no possible way he could be alive...no...it's just gotta be someone else pretending to be him
-Fazworth Residence: 2:28 am-
Freddrick Fazworth groaned as his doorbell rang, he was in the middle of doing some late night budget work for the pizzeria, the incident with the fire had cost him dearly and he needed to make some serious expenditures, "never a moments peace...even when I'm working...yeah yeah I'm coming...now who is it at this ho...oh my god..." As soon as Freddrick Fazworth opened his front door, he was met with a gun pointed to his face and a figure that he knew all too well, "it...it can't be..."
Pulling back on the hammer of the gun, the man holding the gun smiled and tilted his head a bit, "yeah boss...it's me"
