Okay so this chapter is super sad and depressing, but we will get through this together like the Beacon Hills Gang does. Jeff Davis is a genius and meanie.
Chapter 11
I just kept driving and looking everywhere I went. I looked and searched just waiting. I was scared of the thought that maybe I'd drive and find her body on the road or in a ditch. Suddenly I realised that I had driven to the site where my mom's car was when we crashed. I got out of the truck and walked over to the car there in the dirt. I just started crying. I was an emotional wreck. I've lost my mom, my little sister, my dad's been avoiding me, my sisters in an insane asylum, and now Lydia has been taken from me as well. I sat down and leaned against what was left of the car. I hugged my knees and let the tears out. I was alone again. It was like when I told everyone what happened with Malia and nobody believed me, how I miraculously recovered from all the scratches and damage from the crash, how nobody wanted to be near me including my father because I was labeled a freak. I was alone. After spending a few more minutes wallowing in self pity I got up and went back into the truck. It was practically morning already. I drove home almost sort of hoping that I'd get into another car accident and this time not heal, but no I got home safe and found my dad there on the couch watching TV.
"Where have you been?" he asked. I didn't answer or even look at him. I just kept walking right past him and went to my room. I closed the door and laid on my bed, stomach down, and just rested my head on my arms. The door opened and in came my dad, but I didn't look at him, "I asked you a question."
"Yeah. I've asked you questions too, but you were too drunk or angry to answer so you'd hit me. Remember then! How does it feel to have someone not answer you, huh?!" I yelled at him through my tears now sitting up on my bed.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Oh, now you'd like to know wouldn't you? You were never there for me, so why all of a sudden am I so important? I should've been killed in that crash!" I yelled at him. He came close to me and tried to hug me, but I just laid back down on my bed. He sat next to me.
"Don't say that." he told me rather calmly and not angrily.
"Why shouldn't I? You've told me that before, I'm just finally realizing how right you were for once!" I yelled.
"I told you that?" he asked himself.
"Yup, but you were too drunk to remember." I told him and continued sobbing.
"I didn't mean it." he told me.
"You don't have to mean it for it to be right. I should have died in that wreck! Why did I live?!" I yelled.
"You lived for a reason. If you didn't survive why… I don't know what I'd done. You were all that was left. I guess… I guess I pushed you away because I felt that if I got close to you that you'd be taken from me too." he told me. I faced him.
"Well, you certainly were good at pushing me away." I told him as I sniffled and wiped away some of my tears.
"I'm sorry for that. I've been a horrible father. Will you tell me what happened?" he asked.
"That girl I like, that I love… she was taken." I answered him.
"Oh I'm sorry, but I have another question." he told me.
"What is it?" I asked.
"What are you doing in here when you could be looking for her?" he asked. I sat up in bed.
"I… I don't know." I told him.
"Don't be like me Wyatt, don't stop looking." he told me. I hugged him.
"Thanks dad." I told him even though it was muffled into his shirt.
"You're welcome," we broke apart, "Now, do you want me to come with you?" he asked.
"No, could you call the sheriffs department or something. I just need a little space right now." I told him as I got up. He followed me to the kitchen where I grabbed the keys and headed towards the door.
"Sure and ah," he paused right before I walked out. I stopped and looked at him, "I… I love you, son." he told me. I smiled.
"I love you too dad." I told him. The next moment I was out and looking for her. I pulled over and took out my phone that was vibrating. It was Kira. She said "The girl from Eichen house, Meredith, is here in Coach's class. I think she can help us find Lydia." I stuck my phone back in my pocket and floored it towards the school.
I arrived right as Scott and Stiles were walking in, but Scott noticed me. He came up to me and looked sad.
"I'm sorry Wyatt, you told me to watch her and I didn't-"
"Scott," I grabbed him by the shoulders, "I'm not mad, but right now we need to find her." I told him. He nodded and we ran inside. Coach had these guys from Eichen House, each one bigger than the next, around him obviously looking for Meredith, which I guess Coach had. He opened the door to his office, but no one was there. The leader turned around.
"Find her!" he yelled at his other Eichen House workers.
"Scott," he turned to me and so did Stiles, "we need to find her first."
"Yeah, sounds like a plan." Stiles told me as he shoved his hands in his pockets. He looked ill and cold.
"Well, let's split up and look. If one of us finds her you text the others. We don't want Eichen house getting her." I told them. We all started running. I ran down halls looking in every classroom which were all filled with kids, but not Meredith. I rounded a corner and accidently bumped into an Eichen House guard.
"Watch it kid." he told me. That just ticked me off and I was in no mood for that.
"What's that?" I pointed to his shoe.
"What?" he looked down. I grabbed his head and smashed it against the wall. He fell to the ground unconscious.
"Oh, nothing," I told him as I jumped over his body and started going down the hall. More guards were coming so I kept running, but the guards stopped me at the corner. Oh god! "Please, you gotta help! Some crazy girl just attacked that guy!" I told them and pointed at the guard down the hall. They ran over to him and I followed.
"Wha-what happened?" one of them asked as he looked at the body with the other one. I grabbed both of their heads and banged them together. They collapsed to the floor.
"That happened," I told them with a laugh, "I can't believe that worked."
"Wyatt!" I turned around and found Scott standing there with Stiles, Isaac, and Meredith, "what did you do?"
"No time for that," I told him as I ran down the hall to them, "let's go."
I followed Stiles to this old scary place called Oak Creek. Allison and Kira arrived when we did. We all got out of our cars and huddled.
"We've done this before guys. A couple weeks ago we were standing around just like this and we saved Malia, remember," it was hard to forget, "That was a total stranger," I looked at Scott, "was a total stranger. This is Lydia." he finished.
"I'm here to save my best friend." Allison chimed.
"I came to save mine." Scott added.
"Me too." I told them.
"I just didn't feel like doin' any homework." Isaac told us nonchalantly. We all walked in through the gate, but were stopped by Kira's mom and the Oni. Allison pulled back on her bow ready to fire, but she didn't.
"Go home Kira."
"No, I'm don't trust you anymore." Kira told her.
"Trust me on this." Kira's mom replied. Suddenly, it looked like she got hit in the gut by something. She held out her hand and this smoke came out.
"What's that? Is that suppose to mean something?" I asked.
"It means," we all were startled by the voice that came from behind us. There stood evil Stiles with the Oni now behind him, "there's been a change in ownership. Now they belong to me." I know this was a serious moment, but I thought he said Oni-ship and I almost laughed, but I held it back. The Oni took out their swords and started walking towards us. In the next moment we all ran at them. I had no more fear of losing control. I was wielding my claws better than ever. I kicked an Oni back and punched another, but it had no effect. They came back and swung at me, but I ducked under their sword, came up, and clawed at their mask. Nothing happened. They weren't even phased by it. Allison was shooting them, but the arrows just popped off of them like nothing. I kicked one in the gut, grabbed his sword, and just barely blocked the other Oni from slicing my head off. Isaac was getting beaten so I ran over, jumped off of his back, and landed on top of an Oni. I grabbed his head and slammed it against the ground. The mask shattered, but before I could get up I felt a sting across my back. I fell over to find an Oni charging at me, but Isaac tackled him. The Oni targeted Isaac and started landing more hits on him. I got up right as an arrow went into one of the Oni coming at me. A bright yellow sort of light shined from where the arrow hit it. The Oni exploded into this black smoke and Allison's arrow fell to the floor. I turned and smiled at Allison. The next moment an Oni stabbed Allison with it's sword and stuck it through her. I screamed. No I roared. I fell to my knees right as Scott ran out and caught Allison.
"Allison!" Scott held Allison close in his arms.
"Did- did you find her? Lydia?" Allison asked.
"She's okay, yeah," Scott answered as he grabbed Allison's bloody hand that she was holding over her wound, "I can't… I can't take your pain." Scott told her. I felt my eyes tear.
"That's because it doesn't hurt." Scott looked at her in disbelief.
"No." he told her.
"It's okay." she told him in a whisper.
"No, Allison." Scott argued.
"It's okay, it's okay," she was crying now and so was Scott. He tried to hold it back, but the tears kept flowing, "It's okay. It's perfect. I'm in the arms of my first love. The first person I've ever loved. The person I'll always love… I love you Sc-... Scott McCall."
"Allison, please don't-" Scott told her as a tear fell from his cheek down to Allison, "Allison, don't please."
"You- you gotta tell my dad. You have to-tell my dad. Tell him." she uttered. Her breathing quickened and then stopped altogether. Her eyes fluttered close and her hand fell to the floor limp. Scott let out a gasp and pulled her close to his chest. He let his tears flow. He shoved his face to Allison's. He loves her, he always will.
