Petra wanted this next visit to go smoothly as possible. To facilitate that, she packed one of her spiders, extra containers of web fluid that she had stored, and an older suit of hers into a cheap backpack and brought it with her on the visit to the tower. Petra had read through the diary of her creation before the visit to make sure that she knew the basics of her creation. She hoped that it was enough to get through the visit with no huge problems.

Tony was not inclined to go along with the smooth introduction that Petra had planned. He was furious that Bruce had kept such a big secret from hm. He was furious that his daughter wouldn't jump at the chance to get to his money. He was terrified that she was either lying about the connection between them and was just a doppelganger or had heard less than flattering stories about him and didn't want a relationship with him at all.

Tony wasn't the only one angry. Bruce, even as even-tempered as he had trained himself to be, was beyond pissed at the thought that his girlfriend would be taken away. That in turn let the Hulk come closer to the surface in the lapse of Bruce's temper. The Hulk was in turn angry for Bruce, but was equally angry that Hulk didn't get a girlfriend and that Hulk's friend Iron Man was mad at him. He was even a little mad at Spiderman for causing Iron Man not to like Bruce. That just confused Hulk, as Hulk didn't like Banner or Spiderman, he didn't think. Spiderman wasn't his girlfriend- she was Bruce's! Why should Hulk be possessive of someone that he didn't have a claim on? Then again, Hulk and Bruce were the same, Hulk saw what Bruce saw, so shouldn't Hulk get a turn? It was all too complicated, but thinking it through just made everyone even more upset.

Petra had no way to expect what she was walking in on. When she opened the door, Bruce let her in as usual, but from there it all was strange. Tony Stark himself was in the lab, the Iron Man armor was displayed in an easily accessible case in the room, and a few little robot-things were roaming in the lab.

"What's going on?" Petra was nervous. "What's going on?" she asked again, worried about the strange silence and unexplained presences in the room. Why hadn't anyone answered her question yet?

"Is it true that you're my daughter?"

"What is going on? Yes, I was made partially using your genetics, but what is going on?"

"Why didn't you tell me I had a daughter?" Ironman shouted, stepping into his suit, not even trying to direct his question. "Was I that horrid of a choice for a father?"

"The person who made me obviously didn't think so, what with the great lengths he went to in order to acquire yours instead of just using his or some other, lower-profile person's"

"Why wouldn't you tell me the moment that you herd I might have a child? I thought that we were friends, Bruce!" Ironman shouted at his possibly former science friend, more than a little tipsy from trying to deal with the possibilities all day long and irritable from the coffee he had drank to keep him awake for this meeting. "Why don't I show you what the betrayal feels like, and all start with her"

Having given his delirious statement, Ironman aimed his blasters at Bruce with the sole intent of firing. Petra was stunned but she quickly switched out her travel-web for a containment-web. It wasn't fast enough apparently. Bruce was hit, and started shaking. The wound wasn't as bad as she had though, but Bruce was starting to turn- green? Can people even turn green? Apparently, Bruce could. The green was spreading, going up from his neck and covering his hands. He was starting to stretch, expanding to the point his shirt ripped. Oh, she had seen Bruce before. If he had been that green thing, the one that she had seen wrestling those flies, he was definitely strong enough to walk of a repulser blast.
