Here it is, last chapter.
Thank you for all your reviews - honestly I never thought I'd get that many if any at all!
I hope it was worth it!
Eric's POV
"She returns. The girl in the white dress." I murmur, in awe of her beauty. It may have been five years but it may as well have been only five minutes since I last saw her. She is as beautiful as she once was, perhaps more so.
"Eric," she was breathless. Her face was a mix of confusion and wonder, I marvelled at her. "Wh-what are you doing here? I mean how-Eric how did you find me?" Her forehead scrunched up in a manner I had become familiar with. She would always challenge everything that presented itself to her, in curiosity or defiance. I loved her for the latter.
"This is all you have to say to me, Sookie? The first time in, five years,...and all you wish is to know why?"
"Don't I have a right?" She asked, her feelings betraying her, the floodgates of our irrevocable bond opening, stampeding my body with all left unsaid, the lingering tension and emotion.
"You look...delightful." I took her in, committing this vision to memory.
"Shut up. But...thank you." Her eyes dart away from me and down to her feet. "Now tell me what are you doing here?" She asked with urgency in her voice. I felt unwelcome in a strange way, as if it caused her pain and pleasure to see me.
"You appear troubled. The last time we exchanged words I had mistreated you, I should have never left you without due explanation or reason."
"But you did."
Sookie stopped short of going any further.
"That why you're here? To explain why you left me five years ago? Eric I'm...not getting any younger. I'm thirty two. I'm not just going to magically 'less troubled' because you want to fix something that happened years ago. There's other things that I need to get on with, you just turning up like this? What's that even achieve?" She shook her pretty little blonde head and looked imploringly at me. "He told you, didn't he." Her face fell.
"Whom?"
"Bill. He told you...where to find me?"
This was an interesting development indeed. He had not told me so. He had refused knowledge of Sookie's whereabouts, and had even resisted countless numbers of Pam's ministrations of methods to get him to talk. I had truly believed he had nothing to do with Sookie's disappearance.
"No, he did not." I said simply, looking to her face for answers she didn't appear willing to give. She sighed.
"Wow. I didn't believe he'd actually keep quiet...something wanted me to believe he would, but I knew he'd find something to find more important. But he really...didn't?"
"It would appear on this one occasion, Bill Compton can be trusted." I stand with my hands clasped in front of me at my waist still, my voice composed however much Sookie Stackhouse could put my very existence on edge.
"Oh." She tucked her flyaway strands of blonde behind her ear while they continued to float sideways in the breeze. She leant over the rail of the balcony and leant backward against it, eyeing her sideways. A glance to me and she glanced away. Her next words were the most interesting.
"He helped me disappear, I guess that's the best way of describing it. Whatever differences we had, I was in a lot of trouble, and I mean a LOT. I didn't think I could really trust him but I was desperate. People were after me in a real bad way,...I didn't know what to do. He wanted to make amends and sure I doubted his motives but he managed to organise it so it'd look like I'd been killed or something. He took the wrap. I disappeared. It was like I'd never existed. I haven't ever forgiven him for what he's done to me, but in my eyes he's made it right. Whatever he owes me for, the debts been paid." She paused, looking to me again and away to the scenery below.
"Is that so."
"I thought maybe he'd let on he knew something to someone. I knew it'd only be a matter of time. I guess I was wrong about him."
"I see." I breathed, turning my body to the side so I was leaning over hers. She blinked up at me.
"I was wrong about a lot of things, Eric." Her voice was soft, almost seductive, although perhaps that was how it appeared to me the same way her body did. Inviting, delicious, beautifully perfect.
"An example?"
"I thought once I'd moved away, started living under an alias I could actually start living, for real. No vampires, no witches, no werewolves, no supernatural shit wanting my blood or my power."
"And it appears to have done the trick. You've made quite the life here." I gestured around the rooftop balcony we stood on, the dark skyline glimmering in the distance.
"It's not a life. Eric I just-" her body started shivering and shaking and so I pulled her into me.
"Sookie," I looked at her face, dilated pupils and pleading face. I wanted her to carry on, but not at her expense.
"I've made a lot of mistakes. Disappearing wasn't one of them. I needed to get away after...everything happened. It feels like I haven't stopped running away. But I thought as much as I could start new somewhere else," her voice wavered, her eyes dashing forth from my left to my right. "I thought that I could forget, but I couldn't, Eric. I couldn't forget just how much I-" I couldn't see her hurt for one second more. My lips came crashing down to hers, enveloping them with mine and her hands clawed my shirt. I picked up her up in a smooth motion and soon had her legs locked against my waist securing them safely behind my back with her ankles. Her hands linked up my back inside my jacket and pulled on the hair they found, eliciting a growl from my throat. She pulled her mouth away to breathe, sucking in a large quantity of air. Her eyes were wide and her small warm hands slid down to take both sides of my face.
"Eric." Sookie's voice said everything I needed to know. I supported her with one hand as I held her head close to mine, kissing her shoulder, neck and behind her ears as she moved herself against my body in a highly erotic fashion.
The need was pulling at me, feed, fuck, possess. The only thing I was going to do right now was to possess her body with mine, and I had every bit of her consent to do so by the feel of her ever increasing heartbeat. Her hands stopped their pawing at my head and gripped the back of my neck tightly. "What the fuck," she panted, digging her nails into my skin and gulping, clinging onto me and panting at the scene below.
"Relax, lover we're flying." I smiled into her mouth.
"Where are you taking me?" Her arms loosened around my neck and her eyes blinked rapidly at the sights surrounding us.
"Wherever you want to go. Whatever you want to see. Whatever you want do. But we'll have to make a pit stop first so I can have passionate and primal sex with you under these stars." The corners of her mouth turned up.
"Eric!" She exclaimed.
"You found me once and gave me back what I'd lost once, twice even. You saved me from the witches' curse and from the brink of death. It appears this debt is paid, and you and I will never separate, as long as that is what you desire."
"I can't exactly refuse you," she whispered, a smile forming at her lips. "But I can't be what you want, I'm not getting -"
"Younger. I do not care. You may be eighty years old and I would still care for you lover."
"You wouldn't. Look me in the eyes and tell me you'd love me when I was old and weak and ugly," she clung to my neck with better tears in her eyes while we floated over the skyline. A breeze picked up loose strands of her hair and blew them across her face. Sweeping them aside I held her face in my hands.
"You would never look ugly to me, Miss Stackhouse. We'd find a way to make it work. I would love you when you were eighty, ninety or even a hundred. What kind of hypocrite would I be, at a thousand years old to turn my nose up at such beauty?"
"Don't, you'll make me cry and I'm afraid to let go of you," She laughed through a sniff. "You won't want to touch me when I'm that old. I'll age and you won't."
"Who is to say what I'll like? I find the idea of touching you, kissing you, having passionate sex with you,..." I trailed off, leaning down to kiss her neck delicately, blowing gently on her soft warm skin. "...very, very appealing, no matter how old you may be." Which each 'very' there was a gentle tickle of my breath on my throat, which made her tighten her legs around my waist, rubbing against my groin. I wouldn't be able to hold out too long before I laid her down an de made her scream my name for the rest of the world to hear. "There is a first for everything, dear one. I have never made love to an eighty year old woman, but with you, I think I would rather enjoy it."
Sookie's POV
"Eric you kinky bastard!" I couldn't help but smile as he kissed me wherever and whenever we ended up landing. I couldn't help but smile as divested me of my dress, sliding his long fingers up my thigh with deliciously satisfying results. My nails dug into his back once the buttons went flying off in every direction, the scraps of his shirt scattered on the floor beside us. As we collapsed down, his large body spanned mine, knelt between my legs, his hips pinning me down as he inhaled the length of my throat and laid his lips over every inch of skin they found. He tore my panties off and kissed the insides of my legs, the backs of my knees, sliding his hands up my body to take my face in his large hands, securing it below his as he possessed my mouth with his lips, tongue, soul. His physique and stamina had never let me down before, and this would be the first time he and I would be together this way, the two of us experiencing the other in a way we had never before.
He was in no hurry to skip on laying his hands, mouth or tongue anywhere on my body and I the same. I clawed and pawed at him until I was practically begging him to take me, claim me, make me his.
"You only have to say it, lover." He breathed into my ear as his growing erection pressed into me and nipped the skin at my collarbones and shoulder.
"Oh Eric won't you PLEASE come in?" I moaned into his shoulder, and he took me then with one strong motion, cradling my head while I lay flat on my back with one very handsome, horny vampire between my thighs.
"Oh that is one phrase that'll never hold the same value," he spoke in a tantalisingly sexy voice. If I was still wearing my panties it'd be a panty dropper for sure. I wouldn't want to exaggerate and say we spent hours wrapped up in each other's bodies while the other touched and kissed and licked the other, but that was exactly what happened.
When I finally woke up it was in a large bed, red satin sheets next to a naked vampire who ogled me intently.
"And just what am I doin' here Eric Northman?" I asked propping my head up with a smile.
"You were moaning, what's a vampire to do?" His eyes narrowed into a sexy stare that made the butterflies in my stomach rise and flutter with abundance.
"I've had just enough of your filthy talk there mister," I said with a smile as I climbed over to straddle his lap. His bare torso was a treat to have laid out in front of me, and even more so was the hardness that I felt underneath me. A filthy grin spread across his face as his slender fingers caressed my skin, slipping up and over chest and shoulder and settled themselves back down at my hips as he grinded me into him. I sighed at the sheer heat he was making me feel for him under his steaming erotic gaze.
"You may sass me Miss Stackhouse, but that's Mr Northman to you."
I threw my head back as he showed me just how much he'd like to sass me, grinding into my hips sending sparks throughout my entire body as he made love to me for the rest of my days, it seemed like.
I had found my Mr Northman, and I'd never be losing him again.
