"Well." Cammy forced her way out of one of Rose's cupboards. "Chun-Li is in for quite a day!" She received a giggle in reply.

"Indeed. I'm surprised you were able to stay silent for all that time!" Rose hopped up to her feet.

"Well, I did want to know if she was genuine." Cammy smiled, tight-lipped. "I still don't completely trust her..."

"Aw..." The taller woman advanced towards Cammy and met her in a comforting embrace. The taller rested her head on Cammy's while the brit rested her head sideways upon Rose's bust. "Look...I know it's hard for you...it is strange to think Bison has been defeated...you must have all sorts of crazy feelings drifting around in your head..." A sigh sounded from Rose. "I...I...I guess that you half wish you'd done the job yourself...but also glad that Juri did it...you're also happy about all the lives saved, but that ointmet's fly is your mistrust of Juri. You're also worried about Chun-Li...of course, there's also the fact your goal has been stolen from you by Seth killing Bison...how do you cope?" Suddenly, Rose felt shaking in her arms. "C...Cammy? What's wrong?" Wrapped in her arms, Rose could only tighten her hold on Cammy.

"Rose...I'm...it's...weird!" Cammy wiped her eyes on Rose's clothing but more immediately took their place. "Bison is dead...but what's my purpose now? What do I do...?"Her partner stared for a moment before laughing.

"Why, that's simple!"

"Huh?" Cammy eyed Rose's wide smile, sniffling. Rose leaned down and ghosted her lips over Cammy's cheek.

"Enjoy life...stay..." Just once, Rose squeezed Cammy's shoulder. "With me..." Finally, two pairs of lips met in a deep and passionate kiss. As Cammy relaxed into it more and let Rose's skilled tongue do the work, her pain faded. 'That sounds like a delightful plan!'

"Hello?"

"Chunny!"

"Hi...Juri." It was a quiet reply. Chun-Li had taken a couple of days to think. Juri seemed trustworthy. In fact, Chun-Li almost trusted her enough to have her in her house. Almost.

"Listen..." A pause. 'What the hell do I say?' Juri wondered. '"Hey Chunny, let me see you in a bikini?' Yeah, that'll work!' "Hey Chunny, let me-"

"Juri, let me speak first." Chun-Li interupted.

"O...ok..." Juri was shaken. The officer was actually taking control for once!

"I think that if you want to earn my trust then we should do some activities together. Have...have you got any ideas?"

"Um...I can think of one or two!" Juri lowered her voice suggestively. 'Could this have worked out any better?'

"Such as?" The enquiry was open. However, Juri, as sly and cunning as she was would not be so obvious in her quest to go swimming with Chun-Li. So, she opened up with less obvious ideas.

"Well, we could go rock climbing...I love roller-skating!" Juri froze for just a moment. 'That's even better! I can hold onto her as she trips and falls over! I can definitely...' Juri giggled for a moment. 'Cop a feel!'

"What's so funny?" The phone crackled a little; the signal must have been weak. Juri thought quickly.

"Uh...nothing! Just excited at the idea of going roller-skating with you! Oh please, please!" She put on a little baby voice for extra effect. "Pwease, miss Chun-We? Pwease may we go woller-skwating?"

"Sure!" Chun-Li smiled before reminding herself that Juri couldn't see her. At least she didn't think Juri couldn't see her in her office. Suddenly paranoid, Chun-Li glanced around to make sure. 'I wouldn't put that past her...'

"R-really? Woah."

"Why wouldn't I agree to that?" A light laugh from the officer made Juri smile softly and shake her head. "No reason. I'd have thought you'd have been selective with your activities is all."

"Ha! Nah, I'm pretty easygoing!" Another smile that Chun-Li corrected afterwards. "When shall we do it?"

"How about this weekend? I know a great little place for it!"

"Great! See you then!"

"Sweet! Bye!"

"Bye bye." Chun-Li put her mobile down and turned back to her forms. She reflected on the conversation. It actually felt...natural. Surprisingly, after the evening bowling Chun-Li was actually looking forward to more time with "the gals." As she finished her work and prepared to leave, the last thought that echoed in her mind was:

'I can't wait for the weekend!'

Juri tapped her foot impatiently. It was just like Chun-Li to be late! They had agreed for Saturday in the end. In the town there was a skate park. It was a fantastic one too. There were steps, ramps, half pipes, the works. One, however, would question the safety. It was made out of stone, the entire lot and the nearest medical care was an ambulance. Ever popular though, it was packed as Juri stood off to the side, waiting. She stared at the teens doing little jumps and tailwhips with their scooters. There was a group of girls stood off to one side wolf-whistling every time the boys did something daring. There was a surrounding area of grass and trees for shade. Hot sun drove many couples to lie down under the trees. A nearby corner shop had a steady stream of kids coming out with bottles of coke and various other fizzies. The actual skate park was quite large. There were at least fifty kids and no one had to even move out of another's way. A couple of boys stared at Juri, entranced by her. Hair up in her stylish horns, Juri did draw attention. The tight, bright blue top did not help either. Whenever Juri noticed a kid staring at her she would simply pretend to look away and then quickly snap her wide-eyed gaze to the punk. The result was always the same: a hasty retreat.

"If you're quite done terrorising the neighbourhood kids, we could do some roller-skating." A voice sounded from behind Juri.

"You're late." She span on her heel to face Chun-Li. She met the gaze of the gently smiling woman.

"Well, not really. Only by a few minutes." Chun-Li's clothing consisted of a modest white shirt and a pair of somewhat baggy sports trousers. She knelt down and adjusted her skates slightly. Juri span on her own skates in a confident circle.

"Whatever. You might feel a bit put out when you watch me, but don't worry. I'll teach you the tricks of the trade in time." The horns bounced as Juri gave an over-the-top wink to Chun-Li. The Chinese woman placed her hands on her hips indignantly.

"Oh really? Well then, oh mistress of roller-skating, because I am but a lowly noob in the ways of skating..." Chun-Li huffed. "Show me how it's done."

"Gladly!" Juri took off, quickly gathering speed.

"Hey Johnny!" A large, blonde-haired lad pointed at some woman in a blue top. "She looks lame. Why is an adult at our skate park? So lame."

"I know, right?" The smaller kid laughed. "Fiver says that she breaks a leg!"

"You're on!"

Juri kept on speeding up, going faster and faster. She reached an empty half-pipe and went straight up. She adjusted her skates and grinded along the top to drop safely onto some concrete. She carried on and leaped onto a rail...going up to the top. Smiling slightly, she did a quick one-eighty and jumped clear of all the steps. A spin and a clap later and she was next to a mildly impressed Chun-Li.

"Not bad." Chun-Li nodded in approval.

"Heh." Juri scratched her nose a couple of times. "Need me to hold you up and teach you how to skate?"

"Let's see how I do on my own first." Juri stared as Chun-Li zoomed off with clear confidence.

"Oh damn." Johnny gawked as Juri landed gracefully next to her female companion. He stared as the other woman began to do her own tricks.

The other lad's eyes were wide. He could not believe his eyes! He remained tight-lipped for a moment before cheering.

"Woo! Hot damn! I want to be taught by her!"

Chun-Li was performing her own tricks. A slick handspring off a wall kick drew stares from all around. Wheels made a rolling sound on concrete. She hunched down and prepared to show off her ace move. Up the half-pipe, and down. As she went up the opposite side, Chun-Li curved her back and did a graceful back flip. She casually skated up next to Juri and giggled.

"I want to be taught by her!" Johnny pointed. "That was some mad skills!"

"Well, Juri. I think I really do need help…I can't seem to not show you up!" The reply came in the form of a wry grin.

"Oh, you think you showed me up?" Juri interrupted herself with a short laugh, though her eyes showed a definite interest in the challenge. "Aha! There's only one way you could show me up, Chunny." She quickly skated off and called over her shoulder at Chun-Li. "Sprout some wings!"

"Oh, it is on!" The crowd slowly melted together as the two women showed off their incredible acrobatics. For each flip one did, the other would match it. Juri did a flamboyant grind and skated backwards up a ramp only to land on her hands while grinning at Chun-Li. The response was rather taciturn and not very lady-like.

"Ooh, that's a bit dry for you, Chunny! I'd prefer you did something else with those two fingers of yours!" A giggle followed a blushing Chun-Li. Unexpectedly, her next move was very ambitious. She sped right up a ramp and actually leaped out of the skate park. In a split second, Chun-Li had kicked back off a nearby tree and landed back on the ramp. A slow saunter up to Juri led to a slight staring match between the two.

"So how're we gonna settle this, hmm Chunny?"

"Good question..."

"Yo, Johnny! You gonna let dem wenches show ya up man?"

"For fuck's sake, Billy! Why do you always pressure me into beating other people at stuff?"

"Because your tricks are awesome! Now show dem wenches who's baws!"

"Grr...FINE!"

"Hey! You girls!" Both Juri and Chun-Li looked around and spotted a brown-haired lad walk out from the crowd. "I will settle this! I'm far more skilled than you two!" Before anybody could react he had started to power his way towards the steepest ramp in the park. He had done this a million times, sure. But his nerves tingled. His very essence shivered with the thought of the huge crowd watching him. In spite of the niggling worry in his head he stubbornly carried onwards. However, just as he was about to leap off the ramp he changed his mind. He decided to do the front flip into a back flip in one jump. Because of his sudden indecision he faltered. His body froze as he was perfectly upside-down. Thirty feet away, the crowd gasped. In comparison, his mere ten feet of distance from the floor and the start of his descent led to one word being echoed in his mind.

'Death.'

"No..." The delicate gasp came from Chun-Li. The instant she took a step forward a flash of purple blasted up the ramp at an inhuman speed and caught the young lad before he hit his head on solid concrete. A stunned crowd watched as Juri landed and gently lowered the lad to his feet. A tired smile appeared on her face when he began to shake.

"Leave the crazy stuff to us kiddo..." Chun-Li smiled with pure warmth.

Almost immediately her face distorted into a panicked frown when Juri clutched her head and fell to the floor. Chun-Li rushed over and latched onto Juri's shoulders.

"Juri! Juri! What's wrong?" A strong concern worried at Chun-Li's nerves as Juri writhed on the floor, foaming at the mouth.

"My...eye..."

Juri began to black out. The last thing she heard was Chun-Li calling for an ambulance.

'It's too late for me...'
