A/N:Sorry for the long wait now that it is summer I will have more to work on each of my stories and everything inbetween work and everything. Also I decided to continue this story through all the books so this will probably be on of my longest fanfics and everything. But like I said I'm going still combine chapters and everything with my own twists but the events follow the book some what. This chapter also has another confession in it but you will see it when you read it. As always sorry for any misspelled words or missing words. Chapter 9: Paintballing

~Lyssa~

We had just gotten back from the third day of fighting and I was sore. I went against Will and won after I caught him up and tripped him but he still got a few punches in. Tris also won her first fight going against Myra and Chris had won against Al even through we all know he is just giving up. I laid on my bed knowing that tonight was the night that me and Uriah were going to talk and I was going to tell him how I felt. I looked over and saw Tris already asleep it had been two days since her fight with Peter and she was still bruised but at least they were that purple-blueish color so she was healing. Once I saw everyone was asleep I showered and got dressed into one of my new mini skirts and tank top that I got with Shauna. I also put on the heart necklace and ring that matched the necklace and some earnings that Shauna got me. I did my hair and make up and then walked back into the room and laid on my bed waiting for him to text me telling me where to meet him.

I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew someone was yelling "everyone up!" I opened my eyes and saw a flash light behind the person's head seeing earnings and knew it was the dick I mean Eric that had yelled at us. Someone had managed to turn on the lights and I saw that Eric wasn't alone he had some other Dauntless members with him and of course Toby was one of them and so was Zeke. I rolled out of bed knowing that everyone was going to see that I was already dressed in the skirt and tank top I really did shed the Abnegation look fast. I saw Zeke and Toby look at me and smirk as I rolled my eyes Uriah must of told them or must have told Zeke and Zeke told Toby that we were meeting up tonight. Well that looks like its going to be on hold now! I also noticed Eric staring at me and I shivered a little he was creepy as fuck! I looked around seeing the rest of the initiates getting out of bed but something caught my eye and I saw that Toby and Tris were staring at each other. I looked at Zeke and smiled as he looked over at them knowing that there was something between them. But their moment was rudely interrupted by the oh so lovely Eric who said "did you go deaf Stiff?" I watched he roll out of bed and stood next to Christina who just had a T-shirt on and was glaring at Eric. He told us we had five minutes to get dressed because we were going on another field trip. I sighed and got dressed into pants and a sweatshirt pulling my hair into a ponytail and put my phone in my pants pocket just in case Uriah texted me.

~Tris~

I was sound asleep when someone came into the room telling us to get up.I watched as everyone rolled out of bed and heard people saying it was Eric who yelled at us to get up. I noticed that Lyssa was already dressed in a skirt and tank top with jewelry on and she actually did her hair and make up. It looked like she was going out to see someone and I wondered if she was going to meet up with that Dauntless-born boy. I also noticed that Eric was staring at her and saw her shiver a little which made me laugh a little to myself. But who really caught my attention was Four. I saw him looking at me and when our eyes locked onto each other I didn't want to pull away and I felt my stomach do flips as we looked at each other. I heard Eric say "did you go deaf Stiff?". I looked around and saw that I was only one still in bed which meant I had to to break my eye contact with Four and I rolled out of bed and stood next to Christina. Eric told us that we had five minutes to get dressed that were were going on another field trip.

We all got dressed and then ran out of the room and through the Pit. I noticed that we passed some Dauntless members that didn't look too surprised to see us. We got to the tracks and I noticed a big black pile of guns. Christina and Lyssa came up next to me and Christina whispered "are we going to shoot something?" We looked at the box next to the guns seeing that it says Paintballs. I looked at her and shrugged "I guess so." We heard more footsteps and saw that the Dauntless-born initiates were going to join us. Once everyone was there Eric yelled "everyone grab a gun!" Once we all grabbed a gun and some paintballs we stood and waited for the train. I heard Eric as Four for a time estimate on the train and Four tells him any minute and right on cue the train came.

Four started to run next to the train as I ran right behind not waiting for Lyssa,Christina, Will and Al. I watched as he got onto the train first and turn around as I ran next to the train as he put his hand out and I grabbed it as he pulled me in. Damn ever his forearm is tight and I quickly let go as everyone started to get onto the train. I noticed the Dauntless-born boy who helped Lyssa help some of his friends on then saw him pull Lyssa on. I saw them looking at each other and then heard someone yell her name as she looked away and helped Christina and Chris helped Will and Al on. Once everyone was on Four started talking.

~Lyssa~

Once we all got dressed we ran to the tracks and once we got there I noticed a pile of guns and right next to them a box that had Paintballs written on it. I was standing next to Tris when Christina came up next to us and whispered "are we going to shoot something?" I watched as Tris looked from the guns to the box and then back at us as she shrugged "I guess so." We nodded as we heard more footsteps join us and saw that it was the Dauntless-born initiates. I saw Uriah standing with his friends but saw that he didn't look too happy about this field trip. We both knew that we nodded to talk but it looked like it wasn't going to happen tonight.

We heard Eric yell "everyone grab a gun!" We ran over to the pile of guns and grabbed a gun and some paintballs and then stood in groups waiting for the train. I heard Eric ask Toby for a time estimate on the train as Toby said any minute. And right on cue we saw the train come towards us. I watched as Toby started to run next to the train as Tris took off after him. I watched as he got onto the train first and then helped Tris on. I was running with Christina,Will and Al behind some of the Dauntless-borns as Christina said "I can't believe she took off without us."I just shrugged as we watched the Dauntless-borns jump onto the train. I started to jump onto the train when I felt someone pull me on and came face to face with Uriah. We looked at each other as he kept his hand on my arm as we just looked at each other. We were broken apart when I heard Christina yell my name and I reached out as she grabbed my hand and I pulled her onto the helped Will and Al on as we all stood and wondered we where going.

Once everyone was on the train Toby started to talk. "We'll be dividing into two teams to play capture the flag. Each team will have an even mix of members,Dauntless-born initiates and transfers. One team will get off first and find a place to hide their flag. Then the second time will get off and do the same." The train swayed and I watched him grab the side of the door to keep his balance as he kept talking "this is a Dauntless tradition, so I suggest you take it seriously." Someone asked what we get if we won and he said "sounds like the kind of question someone not from Dauntless would ask. You get to win, of course." Then Eric spoke up "Four and I will be your team captains. Let's divide up the transfers first shall we?" I stood next to Tris as Toby told Eric to pick first.

~Four~

Me and Zeke were walking back from the control room when Eric stopped us and told me we were going to take the initiates paintballing. We nodded as Zeke pushed me gently as he looked at me "Uriah is going to be pissed tonight is the the night he and Lyssa were suppose to talk." I looked at him "they both are going to be pissed." He laughed as we headed towards the transfers' dorms. Once we got to the dorm Eric yelled for everyone to get up. We watched as some of the transfers rolled out of bed and me and Zeke had saw Lyssa roll out of bed as well. We smirked at her seeing that she looked dressed for a date as she just rolled her eyes at us. I had to admit I wanted to go into the protective older brother mode seeing her dressed the way she was especially when I noticed Eric looking at her and saw her shiver when she noticed him looking at her as well. I couldn't believe that my little sister from Abnegation shredded the look so fast. I kept looking around when my attention was drawn to a bed and my eyes locked on the person who was sitting up in the bed Tris. She must have noticed me looked at her cause our eyes locked onto each other. She really did take my breath away and her eyes were beautiful. Our moment was stolen when Eric said "did you go deaf Stiff?" That's when she noticed that she was the only one still in bed as she broke our look and rolled out of bed and stood next to Christina. Eric told them they had five minutes to get dressed.

Once they were dressed we ran through the Pit pass the rest of the Dauntless members. Once we got to the tracks I watched as they looked at the piles of guns and the box that held the paintballs. Once the Dauntless-born initiates got to the tracks Eric yelled at everyone to grab a gun. I watched as they grabbed guns and paintballs as Eric asked me fr a time estimate for the train. I rolled my eyes a little and told him that the train would be coming any minute and right on cue it did. I started to run next to the train and jumped on I looked out the door to see Tris running next to it as I reached my hand out and she grabbed it. I pulled her up and we locked eyes for minute until let go and I watched as the Dauntless-borns got on and watched as Uriah helped Lyssa on. I noticed how they looked at each other like me and Tris looked at each other I couldn't see their eyes but knew that they showed longing. They were broken apart when someone called her name as she reached her hand out and helped Christina onto the train.

Once everyone was on I looked at them and started to talk "we'll be dividing up into two teams to play capture the flag. I heard someone ask what they got if they won. I looked at them "sounds like the kind of question someone not from Dauntless would ask. You get to win, of course." I looked at them at Eric spoke up. "Four and I will be your team's captains. Let's divide up the transfers first shall we?" I looked at him and nodded and told him he got to choose first. He nodded and picked Eric figures he would pick the stronger ones as I looked and said "I want the Stiff." Eric laughed "which Stiff do you want Four?" I looked between Tris and Lyssa and said Tris as Eric laughed "got sometime to prove? Or are you just picking the weak ones so that if you lose,you'll have someone to blame it on?" I smirked and said "something like that" and told him to keep picking." Once we were done with the transfers we did the Dauntless-born initiates and members. Once everyone was chosen my team had Tris,Lyssa,Christina,Will,Drew,Uriah and Marlene with other Dauntless-borns and members. The girls might not the strongest but I knew my team was the fastest.

~Tris~

Once the teams were picked I had noticed that Four didn't pick the strongest out of the girls I couldn't speak for the guys but our body types were kind of the same. I remembered the other day Four had said I was fast and then realized he picked everyone that was fast. Eric had told him that we could get off second as he told him "don't do me any favors. You know I don't need them to win." Eric looked at him and said "no I know that you'll lose no matter when you get off. Take your scrawny team and get off first then." Four looked at us as we stood up and waited for the train to dip before we could jump off. Once it dipped I watched everyone start to jump off and as I was getting ready to jump I felt someone shoulder causing me to almost fall out. I knew it was either Molly or Peter that had done it and before they could do it again I jumped and was proud that I didn't fall on my face that I kept my balance. Once I stayed balanced I had ran and caught up with the others. I stood with Lyssa,Christina and Will and watched a Dauntless-born touch Four's shoulder and ask "when your team won,where did you put the flag?" He looked at the girl "telling you wouldn't really be in the spirit of the exercise,Marlene." I looked over at Lyssa and saw that she was watching them.

The girl named Marlene looked at Four and smiled as she basically whined "come on Four." She gave him a flirty smile and touched his shoulder again as he brushed her hand off and I found myself smiling. I looked over and saw Lyssa smirk at me as I rolled my eyes. I heard someone say "Navy Pier." I looked over to see who it was that said it and noticed that it was the Dauntless-born that was always helping and looking at Lyssa. I finally saw what he looked like up close and saw that he was tall,with brown eyes and dark skin and was really handsome and found out that his name was Uriah thanks to Four picking him. I can see why Lyssa liked him. As everyone looked at him as he went o to explain "my brother was on the winning team. The kept the flag at the carousel." Will looked at everyone ad said "let's go there then" which no one objected too. We all started to head to the carousel.I watched as he walked by Lyssa well technically brush past Lyssa and saw them both smile at each other and watched as he caught up to Marlene. I also saw Four watching them and could have sworn I saw him smirk. We walked a few more minutes til we reached the carousel and stopped at it as we went over strategy.

~Lyssa~

Once the teams were made I noticed that Eric's team was made most out of the strongest initiates and Toby's team was made out of the smallest girls the only big people on the team were the guys.I also noticed that he choose Uriah and Marlene to be on our team too. I looked at him as he picked Uriah and saw him smirk at me. Jackass! Once him and Eric got over their egos it was decided that we were going to be getting out first. Once we were all off the train I watched as Marlene was trying to find out were his team hid the flag last year. When he wouldn't tell her she got all flirty but he just brushed her off I noticed Tris smile when he brushed Marlene off and said to myself "you so like my brother." I heard Uriah's voice as he said that he knew where the flag was hidden last year and that was the Navy Pier and then on to explain how he knew because his brother was on the winning team last year. Will suggested that we go there and no one objected too it. As we started to walk towards the carousel I felt Uriah brush against me as went in front of us as and we both smiled. I saw Tris look at us as Toby smirked at us as I just rolled my eyes and kept walking.

I saw Marlene turn on a flash light and heard Uriah say "scared of the dark Mar?" I knew he was teasing her and wondered if one day we would be able to do that. I heard her saw if he wanted to step in glass he could but then turned off her flash light. We walked passed a Ferris wheel as Will said "think about it. People used to ride that thing. For fun." Tris looked at it and then at us "they must have been Dauntless." Christina laughed "yeah,but a lame version of Dauntless. A Dauntless Ferris wheel wouldn't have cars. You would just hang on tight with your hands and good luck to you." We all looked at her and laughed as I looked at them. I wasn't expecting to make friends besides Tris but I was glad that I had Chris,Will,Al,Zeke,Shauna and Uriah even if the others didn't know about my Dauntless friends yet. As we walked down the side of the pier we came across a marsh as Christina looked at Will and said "dare you to jump into the marsh." He looked at her "you first" Tris and I looked at each other as we rolled our eyes knowing we both were saying "hook up already damn."

When we got to the carousel Toby took the flag out of his pocket and looked at us. "In ten minutes, the other team will pick their location. I suggest you take this time to formulate a strategy. We may not be Erudite, but mental preparedness is one aspect of your Dauntless training. Arguably,it is the most important aspect." We all nodded knowing he was right as Will took the flag and told us some should stay and guard the flag and some should go and find where Eric's team and flag where. Marlene took the flag from him asking who put him in charge as Will said no one did. Christina suggested something and then Uriah suggested something as well as all hell broke loose with everyone arguing and suggesting some ideas. I shook my head and leaned against a horse on the carousel watching everyone. I noticed Tris break away from the group and start walking away from everyone. I was going to follow her when I saw Toby walk after her and smiled to myself as heard someone come and stand next to me seeing that it was Uriah. He smiled at me "lets go talk, everyone is still fighting and but the looks of it me,you,Four and Tris will probably find the flag. I laughed "you noticed them leave too huh?' He nodded and took my head as we walked in the same direction as Tris and Toby.

~Tris~

I stood next to Christina listening to everyone fight over strategies and everything and looked around at everyone. I saw Lyssa leaning against a horse on the carousel but the one person who caught my eye was was sitting on the edge of the carousel leaning against one of the horse's feet as he looks up at the sky and noticed how relaxed he looked. I shook my head and looked away I don't get how he can distract me so easily. I looked over to Lyssa and then to Four again and noticed they had some similarities and wondered how come I never noticed them before but he couldn't her brother she would have told me already. It probably was she looked more Dauntless then I did after she changed her appearance. I heard everyone still arguing as I shook my head and looked at the Ferris wheel and got the idea to walk over to it knowing that no one would noticed I was missing. And plus if I climbed it I could see where Eric's team was and tell everyone so we could come up with a plan.

I got to the Ferris wheel and grabbed a rung and noticed that it was rusty and probably would crumble in my hand. I put my foot on the lowest rung and put all of my weight on it and jumped up and down on it to make sure it would hold me. Of course the jumping made me wince in pain as a reminder that my ribs weren't fully healed yet thanks to Peter. "Tris" I heard the familiar low voice behind me and it doesn't scared me it was to smooth too. I turned around to see Four looking at me as I smiled at him and said "yes?" He asked me what I was doing and I told him I was going to climb the wheel to see where Eric's team and flag were. I could see him smile and says that it was a good idea and that he was coming with me. I told him I would be fine and he says he know I will be as I start to climb and I hear him start to climb as well as he catches up with me.

As we climb he asks me what the purpose of the exercise was and I went t say that it was because Eric was a prick but I knew better then to say that. I say it had to do with something with strategy or maybe teamwork. He laughed at the mention of teamwork and I figured that was wrong as he said that teamwork didn't seem like a priority for the Dauntless then adds on that it used to be. I realize I wasn't listening I was focusing on how high we were and my hands were killing me from holding onto the rungs to keep me from falling and I realized my legs were shaking too but couldn't figure out why. Then I realize its not from the height its because of Four. He makes me weak at the knees and makes my insides melt I try push that feeling away as my hand almost misses the next rung but I grabbed onto it and hoped that he didn't notice.

Thankfully he didn't and asks me "what do you think learning strategy has to do with bravery?" I kept climbing as I answered him "it prepares you to act. You learn strategy so you can use it." I hear him breathing loud and fast behind me as I asked him "are you all right, Four?" I hear him ask "are you human,Tris? Being up this high it doesn't scare you at all?" It was then I realized he was scared of heights. I looked over my shoulder and saw the ground knowing if I feel I was dead. A gust of wind presses against my left side,throwing my weight to the right I grabbed the next rung to keep my balance. I felt Four grab me and I feel his hand on my bare skin under my shirt as he helped me get my balance back again as he asked if I was alright and I told him I was fine.

I kept climbing as we reached the platform and saw that the railing was gone as I sat on the platform and moved over to give Four some room as I put my legs over the side. But he doesn't sit he crouches and presses his back against a metal bar. I looked at him "you're afraid of heights. How do you survive in the Dauntless compound?" He looked at me "I ignore my fear. When I make decisions, I pretend it doesn't exist." I looked at him and I know that I'm staring at and he notices too and asks me what. I shook my head and tell him nothing as I looked away from him and towards the city and noticed that building was blocking the way and looked back at him "we're not high enough. I'm going to climb." I get up and he says "for God's sake, Stiff." I looked at him "you don't have to follow me" as I started to climb and hear him say "yes I do" and climbs behind me.

~Four~

She wants to kill me! No only does she have me following her up a damn Ferris wheel, she almost gave me a heart attack when she almost fell when she lost her balance and now she wants to go higher. She told me I didn't need to go but I tell her I do knowing that I had to protect her and keep her safe. I watched as she started to climb as I climbed after her as I grabbed the bars tight and tried not to look down to the ground. I see she had finally stopped and was looking at something and asks if I saw it too. I looked over her shoulder and yes I noticed how close we were and saw a small light on the ground as I said yes. I smiles a little "its coming from the park at the end of the pier. Figures. It's surrounded by open space but the trees provide some camouflage. Obviously not enough." She looks at me and I think she finally noticed how close we were and I caught her staring at me again.

She nodded and we should start to climb down as I nodded and started to climb down before her. I stayed focused on the rungs as I went down praying that I didn't slip and fall to my death. Then I hear her say "Four" and looked up seeing her dangling. I had heard something but figured it was the rungs just creaking but I guess I was wrong, one of them had broken off and she couldn't reach the next one without falling to her death. I looked up at her and yelled "hold on! Just hold on. I have an idea." I climbed down faster and headed to the control box for the Ferris wheel.I can see her watching me and heard her yell my name as I reached the box and prayed that the Ferris wheel still worked. I felt my heart beating fast as I pushed the button and saw it start to light up and move and watched as she came down. She jumped off before touching the ground and I ran over to her to help her. I saw that her hands were covering her eyes as I took them away and held her hands as I looked at her "you alright?" She nods and says she is fine as I laughed a little and heard her laugh too. She looked at me "you could have told me that the Ferris wheel still worked. We wouldn't have had to climb in the first place." I looked at her and laughed "I would have if I had known. Couldn't just let you hang there, so I took a risk. Come on, time to get their flag." She nodded as I helped her up.

I looked at her and put my hand around her arm gently to help her walk when we heard footsteps come towards us as I used my free arm and pulled my paintball gun to the front ready to shot. When the footsteps came into the light of the Ferris wheel I saw it was Lyssa and Uriah. Lyssa looked at us "you guys alright? We saw the lights and come over to see what was going on." I saw Uriah nod as I looked at them knowing that there was more to the story as Tris nodded saying we were fine. I looked at them "we know where the flag is. We should head back to the rest of the team." The nodded and I helped Tris walk as Lyssa and Uriah walked in front of us and noticed how they walked with a few spaces between them and smirked to my self knowing that they came up with that when they found us. I watched as Tris limped besides me as we reached the carousel.

~Uriah~

Once we go to the carousel all hell broke loose with people coming up with ideas on how to get Eric's flag. I noticed an transfer break away and saw it was the Stiff well technically one of them but Zeke and Four would kick my ass if I called Lyssa that but anyway I believed the transfers name was Tris. I saw Lyssa watch her and start to walk after her and then stopped when she saw Four go after her. I figured now would be the best time to talk to her and tell her how I really felt about her. I walked over to her and stood next to her and smiled "lets go talk they are still fighting and but the looks of it me,you,Four and Tris will probably find the flag." She laughed "you noticed them leave too huh." I nodded as I took her hand as we walked into the same direction as Four and Tris.

We walked in silence for a few minutes as we still held hands which I smiled to myself knowing that we didn't want to let go of each other. I looked at her and smiled as I told her to stop that we should be able to talk without being seen and she nodded. I bit my lip and looked at her "I guess I'll first." I started to play with her hands as I took a deep breath "alright here it goes. When Four told me and Zeke about having a little sister that he left behind we couldn't believe it, but as he told us more and more about you the more I couldn't wait to meet I knew I probably wouldn't meet you til our Choosing Ceremony because he said that your father probably wouldn't let you come on visiting day but you did. And when you spent the day with us I started to fall for you and I know that that sounds impossible because we were only 14 then but I did. After you left Four told me and Zeke about the promise you guys made and I couldn't wait to the Choosing Ceremony. Every time I saw you at school I just wanted to talk to you but knew I couldn't. Then at the Choosing Ceremony came and when I heard your name and watched as you picked Dauntless I was so happy. I wanted to make sure you made it in one piece that's why I helped you onto the train and on the roof and I wouldn't be able to deal with anything if you didn't make it. You were always beautiful and you still are even if you changed your looks to impress me."

I looked at her and saw she was about to say something but stopped her "before you say something let me finish. I know its my own death warrant but I'm going to ask anyway and I know if anything happens your brother hell even my brother will kill me. But anyway will you do me the honor f being my girlfriend please?" I looked at her and knew I took her by surprise by just the look on her face. She looked at me "will you hurt me?" I shook my head "I will never hurt you Lyssa." She nodded "what about you and Marlene?' I played with her fingers "we are just friends we were raised together and plus she wants us together cause she sees the way I look at you." She smiled and looked at me "before I say anything I need to tell you something and Four will kill me for telling you this but I'm Divergent." I looked at her "I am too so its our little secret." She smiled and nodded "well then seeing that you gave me a speech I should give you one too." I laughed and nodded "alright go ahead."

I listened to her as she told how she felt about me and once she was done I looked at her "does that mean you will be my girlfriend then?" She smiled and nodded "yes I will be your girlfriend Uriah." I smiled and leaned in kissing her and felt her kiss me back. I pulled back and smirked "see told you you would be seeing how it felt to be kissed. And are you wearing make up Lys?" She laughed and playfully hit my arm "jerk and maybe." I smiled and was about to kiss her again when we saw the Ferris wheel go on as she looked at me "we should see what that is about." I nodded as we headed towards the Ferris wheel with our guns ready just in case we got caught. She looked at me "I don't want Four to know just yet so what should we do?" I smiled "what we have been doing just smile at each other when we see each other in the Pit and then meet at night and you can tell him when you're ready." She smiled as we reached the Ferris wheel and saw Four and Tris. Lyssa told them that we saw the Ferris wheel on so that's why we came over to see what was going on and asked them if they were ok. They nodded as Four told us they knew where Eric's flag was as we both nodded and started to head back towards the carousel with me and Lyssa in the front walking with a few spaces in between us with Tris and Four behind us as he helped Tris.

~Lyssa~

Holy Fuck! I can't believe what he just told me and asked me when we stopped walking to talk. To say I was shocked was an understatement but I was happy as hell. I looked at him "will you hurt me?" He shook his head and said "I will never hurt you Lyssa." I smiled at that and asked him about him and Marlene as he told that they were only friends and how Marlene wanted to see us together. I smiled and looked at him "before I saw anything I need to tell you something and Four will kill me for telling you this but I'm Divergent." He looked at me and smiled as he told me he was Divergent too and that it would be our little secret. I smiled and nodded as I looked at him "well then seeing that you gave me a speech I should you one too." He laughed and looked at me "alright go ahead."

I took a deep breath as I looked at him "alright well here it is. You might have heard about my and Four's promise but you are another reason for me coming to Dauntless. Which I can't believe I just finally admitted to you and myself but any way they day I met you and Zeke I felt a connection between the two of us. You were funny,kinda and really really cute. And after that day when I saw you at school I wanted too talk to you as well. The day of the Choosing Ceremony when my name was called I noticed you watching me and saw the smile you had when I picked Dauntless and I have to admit that made my heart skip a beat. Then when you helped me onto the train and on the roof that made me fall for you even more. Yes I admit that I was jealous of you and Marlene but Four told me that you two were just friends. And yes I changed my appearance so you would notice me. But hearing what you just said to me made me melt. So yes I will be your friend Uriah."

He smiled and leaned in kissing as I kissed him back and felt him pull back and saw him smirking as he looked at me "see told you you would be feeling how it felt to be kissed and are you wearing make up Lys?' I smiled and playfully hit his arm and looked at him "jerk and maybe." He leaned in to kiss me again when we saw the Ferris wheel go on and I suggested that we go check it out. As we walked I looked at him I didn't want Toby to find out about us yet and asked him what we should do. He told me we should keep acting like we have been and then meet up at night and that when I was ready I could tell Toby about us. When we got to the Ferris wheel we saw Toby and Tris and I asked if they were alright. They nodded and told us they knew where the flag was. We nodded and headed back towards the carousel as me and Uriah walked in front of them with a few spaces in between us with Toby and Tris behind us as he helped her walk.

Once we back to the carousel we noticed some of the team wasn't there. Of course they started to complain about the wheel being on but Toby told them that the wheel didn't matter that we knew where the flag was as Christina looked at the four of us "we?" I shook my head "Four and Tris." Christina looked clueless as Toby explained what Tris did as we looked at Tris and someone asked her "so what do we do?"

~Tris~

I saw everyone looking at me as I took a deep breath and looked at them "split in half. Half of us go to the right side of the pier, three to the left. The other team is in the park at the end of the pier, so the group of four will charge as the group of three sneaks behind the other team to get the flag." I saw Christina and Lyssa look at me a little surprised that I came up with that plan. Once we spitted up I was on the team of three with Christina and Uriah while Four was with Lyssa and two others as Will stayed back to guard the flag with some of the others.

We got to the end of the pier and looked for the blinking light and pointed as they nodded and I led the way. We hear people yelling and see paintballs flying as Uriah,Christina and myself as Four's team runs to meets us as we see that the flag is almost unguarded. Uriah shoots the girl who is guarding it and she drops her gun and stomps away. I ran to catch up with Christina as we reach for the tree branch that the flag was hanging from. She looked at me "come on,Tris. You're already the hero of the day. And you know you can't reach it anyway" as she reaches up and grabs the flag a without looking at me and whoops in victory. I hear Uriah join in and then hear yells in the distance. Uriah touches my should and then runs over to the others as they lift up Christina. I stand to the side and smiled as I felt a hand touch my shoulder and see that it was Four as he says "well done."

Once we were back on the train Will said he wished that he was on one of the teams that got the flag and Al said he wished that he could have been on our team. I looked over at Molly and Peter and saw them covered in paint and could hold back the smile. I looked back over at Lyssa,Will,Christina and Al seeing them talking and laughing. I saw Uriah and Marlene come over to me as she asks if I really climbed the Ferris wheel. I nodded as she formally introduces her self and I introduced my self as she said she knew already with me being the first jumper.

I sat next to Uriah and watched him play with a paintball as the train jumped he squeezed it making him crush the ball as some splashed on my face and Marlene started laughing. I wiped some off and put some on his cheek as he yelled. He smirked and squeezed the ball again to get me again but he was holding it the wrong way and it went into his mouth. I broke down laughing with Marlene as he gagged and tried to get it out of his mouth. I looked over and saw Lyssa and Four watching us and saw that Lyssa was laughing at Uriah. He gave her the help me face then wiped it off when he saw me looking at them. What is going on with them?

~Lyssa~

I watched Uriah squeeze the paintball and saw it go into his mouth after Tris wiped some of the paint that was on her face on to his cheek. I laughed seeing him gag and try to get the paint out of his mouth as he gave me the help me look as I shook my head and he pouted. I saw Tris watching us as he looked away from me knowing she would suspect something. I was glad that my boyfriend wow I gotta get use to that any way that my boy friend and best friend were becoming friends. I looked over at Toby and saw him watching Tris and Uriah as he caught my eyes and I knew he wanted Tris. When we got back to the compound we went back to the dorms and went to bed. As I laid down and fell asleep thinking about everything that had happened today and was happy that Uriah was my boyfriend. Now all I got figure out is how to get Tris and Toby together and knew I was going to ask Zeke for help.
