Ok ok ok. I realize I haven't updated in like a year (yay go me [no. no yay me.]) so im super sorry and as an apology here are the first 624 crappy words of the latest chapter which I will post probably later this week.

"Tell me how the dinner party went or I will choke you with your own salad." Loki said darkly, eyeing Steve intensely enough to make him shudder in fear.

Steve opened his mouth before Bucky cut him off. "No. It's none of your business." Bucky replied, taking a bite out of his own cafeteria salad. "And I don't think I've asked you to butt in on the subject." He added.

"Bucky—" don't be rude. Was what Steve was going to say when Loki slammed his fist onto the table.

Everyone close enough to hear went quiet as they directed their attention to the dark lithe figure standing up. Loki let out a small growl. "I demand to know." He said intimidatingly. "And you forget, Buchanan Barnes, Mr. Rogers is no longer just your friend. You do not get the right to decide what he wants to disclose."

Bucky's eyes widened and narrowed. "Jeez fine just calm down you're making a scene, crazy." Bucky said cuttingly. Loki let out a flourished sigh that definitely did not match the triumphant grin on his face.

"Guys, can we please talk about this later? Like some other time where everyone isn't listening hmm?" Steve suggested, trying to disappear by hiding behind his home made lunch.

"Great idea Steve." Loki said amiably, patting him on the back with a friendly smile as he sat back down.

"I knew Steve first." Bucky said sulkily, smirking only when Loki glared in his direction.

"Guys, speaking of the dinner which revolves around one prodigious son, where is Tony?" Clint said, looking around the cafeteria to emphasize his point.

"Perhaps he's with Pepper?" Thor suggested, grinning around a mouthful of mashed potatoes.

Steve let out a sound that sounded like a pained pterodactyl.

Loki did a gesture that clearly said cut it out or I'll kick you in the nads.

"Was it something I said?" Thor asked.

"You're dumber than I thought, jeez." Bucky said with a sigh.

"Hey! I'm the only one who gets to insult him like that." Loki exclaimed in a dead serious voice.

"Sure thing drama queen." Bucky continued nonchalantly.

"Getting back on the subject of Tony." Clint said, trying to hide his interest on the topic.

"Sorry to come late to the party ladies" Natasha said as everyone turned to look as she sat down at their table. "I haven't seen Tony lately. Last I heard, his father called him out of class." She added, taking Clint's pizza, ignoring his whining protests.

Steve felt a visceral feeling go through him. "You don't think he's in trouble do you?" He asked Bucky. Bucky pulled back away from the buzzing conversation with a glance at his blonde friend.

"Not unless… there's no way he could know you kissed Tony." Bucky said with a reassuring smile.

The feeling in his gut got worse as he tensed. "That's not what I was going with. I was saying maybe he did something stupid." Steve tugged at the collar of his shirt before Bucky slapped his hand away and grabbed his chin so he could look directly into his eyes.

"Listen to me. He's not in trouble. He'll be fine. You'll be fine. Now let's continue to eat lunch before—"

"Before someone catches you two together?" Clint chimed in before making kissing noises with puckered lips. Bucky rolled his eyes as Natasha put a hand firmly on Clint's shoulder.

"Anyways. Stop worrying about that rich boy and try to enjoy yourself as much as the American school system allows, okay? Okay." Bucky slapped him once on the cheek before turning back to his lunch. Steve stared at him in disbelief. However his friend managed to stay completely and careless was beyond him.
