Blaine flopped down backwards onto his bed rubbing a hand over his face. That 'talk' that Kurt had wanted to have had descended in a screaming and yelling match between the pair of them. It had ended when Blaine had stormed out of the Hummel-Hudson house tears streaming angrily down his face. He was pretty sure that the pair had broken up, he just wasn't sure who had broken up with who. He thought that Kurt had broken up with him. But he couldn't be sure. There was just so much yelling.

Kurt had screamed, once again, about how Blaine just didn't understand. And Blaine agreed. He didn't exactly understand what he was supposed to not understand. Blaine had screamed back about how Blaine did understand and it was Kurt that was upset and taking his frustrations out on Blaine. Kurt had shouted that Blaine didn't understand and that he was perfect. Blaine had at that point stared at Kurt confused. Kurt thought that Blaine was perfect? Surely over the past year of their relationship Kurt had noticed Blaine's bucket full of flaws?

Blaine fired off a quick text to Wes, to inform him of his recent break up knowing that he was with Santana:

Me and Kurt broke up, I'm fine though, Promise - Blaine

Blaine knew that Wes would freak out upon reading the text and share it with Santana. The pair would then go into crazy protective mode (he wasn't really sure how the two dating could be beneficial to Blaine at this point) and then one of them would let Sebastian know (and then the rest of the world). Blaine sincerly hoped that they didn't freak out too much. He knew how to handle Santana. He knew how to handle Wes. But handling them both when they are in full out freak out mode was not something that Blaine had ever tried before. Add into that situation would be Sebastian and Blaine was truly dreading his reaction to the news.

Blaine's phone buzzed but he didn't bother to check it. This was obviously the start of the freak out. Instead Blaine strained his hearing so that he could hear the front door opening. Blaine frowned and stood up slowly. He carefully made his way out of his room and out onto the landing. He crept slowly to the top of the long sweeping staircase and froze at what he saw.

"Mom? Dad?"

The two figures spun around to meet the gaze of their youngest son. Rosalina and Matthew Anderson were in their mid-forties but you would never have guessed it from looking at them.

Matthew was tall and of slim build. He was dressed in his usual crisp black suit and a pair of dark sunglasses covering his eyes. Matthew loved both of his sons and it had come as a great shock to him when Blaine had told him he was gay. Matthew was not proud of the actions he taken after he had found out. Forcing Blaine to help him re-build a car was not exactly his best idea (especially as he really didn't have a clue what he was doing). However, when he had discovered that Blaine had been injured and required eye surgery he had flown in to be with his son, while Rosalina had stayed in Italy. The pair had talked. A lot. About the fallout of there actions.

Matthew had admitted that he was scared that Blaine would get hurt and then when he had, it was almost too much for him to bare. Not that that excused his actions. The pair had agreed that they would try to work and re-build their relationship. And Blaine had to admit he and his father were getting along better than he had ever expected.

Rosalina was short and slim, Blaine had been told countless times how he looked like his mother but had his fathers eyes. However, Rosalina had never grown to accept Blaine's sexuality and had made no attempts to try to build on her relationship with her youngest son. Rosalina was a lot like Cooper, they were both driven by money, whereas Blaine was like his father. They both followed their hearts but had tempers and short fuses. It had surprised Blaine (even at the young age of 10) how Rosalina had decided to preserve the small coffee shop in Westerville. However, Blaine had discovered (he had been told by his father during his visit about his eye) that the coffee shop had actually been left to Blaine but was in Rosalina's control until he turned 21.

"Blaine...I wasn't expecting you to be home..." Rosalina said in sickly sweet voice.

Blaine descended the steps slowly his eyes drifting between his parents, "Er...yeah...I wasn't expecting you home til next week..."

Matthew stepped forward, "We are going to an event in New York this weekend...and then we will be back for most of the summer...it's good to see you..."

Blaine smiled at his father, "It's good to see you too..."

Matthew smiled at Blaine, "I was thinking...that maybe...later on the summer...when we get back from New York...that we could maybe...go play a round of golf...or something..."

Blaine smiled at the attempt his father was making. Before Blaine had told his parents he was gay, he and his father were very close. It felt nice to be able to try and re-build their relationship.

"I'd like that..."

Rosalina stepped forward, "We need to unpack...and I need to inform Marie that we will be here for dinner..."

Rosalina continued through the house. Matthew smiled at his son and followed. Blaine reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone reading through the messages he had received. Blaine opened one from Sebastian and rolled his eyes fondly;

Pick you up at 10 tomorrow. Pack a spare pair of clothes - Seb

It looked like he now had plans.
