"Sorry I yelled Alfie. Have you seen Jerome anywhere." Alfie looked at the two girls unsure of what to do. "Alfie I have something for you." Kenzie said giveing him a bag of of candy. "Thanks Kenzie your amazing." "Your welcome now have you seen Jerome." "He's in the closet." Alfie said thought a mouthful of candy. "Jerome we need a word with you up stars." Jerome could here two pairs of footsteps coming towards the door of the wardrobe neither belonging to his roommate. This was it Mara had saw him following them and he was most likely about to come face to face with the very man who haunted his every nightmare. But if Mara and kenzie thought he would just let that happen they was so wrong he would fight every second up till he was in the grasp of that demented criminal. The door opened Mara on the left and kenzie on the right a small gap in between them. If he could just get to the next room Eddie and Mick could help him. Then they could work together and take down the girls, and then refuse to let them go till they found out where there friends are. It was the perfect plan. He made a run for the gap but the girls caught him this was the end of the line. "Thanks again alfie." Mackenzie smiled. "Now what do you say we go for a little walk up to my room. There's someone waiting for you." This was it. Rufus had come here and was waiting for him in maras room. He made one last desprit attempt to get to Mick and Eddie only to be restrained once again. "Don't worry Jerome we'll take you to Eddie. Then it hit him Eddie was looking for the tape if Rufus was up stairs then that ment he had Eddie. The only one left would be Mick all the hope of finding him and the others rested on the meatheads shoulders. As he reached the top of the stairs he saw Mick, Amber, Joy, and Trudy. He was safe Rufus was not here but then why would Mara be so mad. He looked in the room and it was a total wreck that is why Mara was yelling she hadn't seen him after all and now he knew where the others were being kept. " Well are you going to say something Clarke or just stare at my room." Joy yelled tapping her foot on the ground impatiently. "What did you want me to say." Jerome resorted. Mara was getting angrier and angrier by the second but tried to sound calm in her answer. "An apology for destroying our room. What were you two looking for anyway." Two so she didn't know that mick was involved. And this was the perfect time to prove to the house that they were guilty and Eddie thought so to. "You wouldn't want us to tell you trust me." Eddie stated. "Oh, I think they would deary." Trudy sounded disappointed. "It has to do with Nina and Fabian and Patricia and Victor. What do you think Mackenzie Mara any guesses." Eddie taunted. Mara's eyes widened in realization as she whispered in kenzie's ear hers did as well they had to stop them. "No harm done Trudy just boys being boys know you there better get to your rooms and fast its past ten o'clock and tomorrow's a school night." Mara said as she pushed Jerome to the stairs. "Stay out of this its non of your business Jerome, I don't want to have to hurt you. But I will if you don't drop it." She whispered to him before heading to her room. Jerome Eddie and Mick gathered at the bottom. "Where did you go Clarke?" Eddie sounded annoyed and he had every right to be. He hadn't been in Patricia's room since she was taken and now all the painful memories all came bake at once. "I know you miss Patricia dude but we'll find her." Mick adversed him. "I hope you're right I just can't live without my yacker." "I know he is Eddie I followed the girls and..." "And what do you know where they are!" Eddie raised his voice in excitement. "Eddie keep your voice down someone could be listening." There was a creak at the top of the stairs where kenzie stood in the shadows unseen by the boys. "Yes," Jerome continued. "And I have a plan to get them back you just have to wait one more night." The boys went to bed and kenzie went to Joy and Mara's room. "Hey joy want to sleep in my room tonight?" Mackenzie asked. "Sure thanks." She shut the door behind joy and turned to Mara. "Mara we have a problem, and it involves your boyfriend." "What has he done to disappoint Rufus." Outside Joy was about to enter her room to grab her stuff bunny, Bunsy Bun, when she heard his name and started to listen in on maras conversation. "He was the one who followed us Mara." Mara looked worried but not surprised. "You knew?!" Mackenzie was getting angry Mara had to chose her next move carefully. "I had my suspicion but I couldn't be sure. That's why I didn't tell you I didn't want him involved because of his past with him." "I told you he is as involved as you and me and so are those pathetic friends. I mean we left him Alfie and Amber didn't we." "You mean for now when the time comes we'll need her as well. And we'll need Jerome why don't we just take them now." "Because we must wait till the time arrives." "Yes I know but why wait for them and not the others." "Mara don't you get it he enjoys watching your boy friends suffering. And Amber annoys him." "Why do we need Jerome he's not even a part of the ceremony." "Rufus wants him there when his friends unleash the worst evil onto this world that those little detectives have ever witnessed." Joy couldn't listen any longer she opened the door. "Joy, how long have you been standing there." Mackenzie asked her voice was angry and dangerous. "Oh, I just came for my bunny." Joy facked an inicent look as she moved towards her bed and searched for the toy. "Under the dresser joy." Mara said seeing the ear sticking out. "Thanks Mara I'll be on my way." Joy then hurried to get out. The girls sat in silence and waited for ambers door to close then continued their earlier conversation. "No one gets hurt right?" "No one but the sacrafrice." Mackenzie assured her placing a hand on her shoulder. "And you can make sure that it's Patricia Williamson." "I can praticaly garinty it will be her." "And no one will remember her or the fact that we work for Rufus." "No one we don't want to remember." "So only Nina and he'll take care of her personally." "Yes that's right and even then he won't hurt her and you'll all get to see her when ever she asks it." "OK, then I'm sorry I yelled." "Don't worry about it after all with the choose day being so close we all have our worries about the plan I'm glad that we had this chance to talk things through." " I only have one more concern." " What would that be Mara?" "If Rufus has a past with Jerome how do I know he won't hurt him." " Mara you have my word your boyfriend will be safe as long as he doesn't get in the way too much." " You're right we should get some sleep Kenzie goodnight." " Good night Mara and don't worry the plan will go as accordingly." Mackenzie turned off the light and got into Joy's bed. " That's what I'm worried about." Mara whispered to herself as she closed her eyes.
In amber's room joy was telling amber what she had over heard and amber's eyes were wide with surprise.
