To recap on what happened on the last chapter, Don fought master Splinter and Splinter revealed something to him.
This chapter is when its Don's birthday, so he gets the necklace. Please, no flames.
Btw, I'm making it so that each turtle's birthday is on a different day. Meaning Leo and Raph already had their birthdays. Also I don't know how old they are or when their actual birthday is so I'm guessing they were 16. So without further ado, here is chapter 11 of 'I Can't See'.

2 months later; November 3rd
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY 17th DONNIE!" Don's three brothers yelled. It was finally their birthdays, but more importantly is was their brainiac, purple banded brother's birthday.
"MAKE A WISH DONNIE!" Mikey yelled holding up half a strawberry cake that he had baked before Leo's birthday. He made it a big enough so that everybody had four slices, one on each day. (Meaning it was in 16 pieces)
'I wish I will be able to find a way to fully cope with this blindness' Donnie wished and blew out the few candles. Once he did, Mikey handed a piece of cake to each of them and handed a vanilla cupcake to Master Splinter; since he liked being original.
After they all enjoyed their piece of cake, it was time for some fun and games like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, ninja hide-and-seek (Leo won naturally), and a whole lot more games, they decided to take a break before the other guests came and opening presents in an hour.
That was when Master Splinter asked to see Donatello.
"Master Splinter, you said you wanted to see me?" Don asked.
"Yes, my son. Do you remember how two months ago how I had that discussion with you and I said I had something for you?" Master Splinter asked is third youngest son, hoping that he remembered since a lot had happened from then to now.
"Hai sensei, I do. I never stopped thinking about it." Don replied.
"Good, but you must remember to always wear it; if you don't then bad things will happen to you. But you got to also remember this important rule, do not let it control you, you must control it. That is why I chose you my son. Your level head will let you control it. Raphael is to rash, Michelangelo is too young, and Leonardo is sometimes easily convinced, making you the best choice. Do you understand my son?" Master Splinter asked, hoping his son knew the importance of keeping the necklace on.
"Hai sensei. But I do have a question, what did you mean that I shouldn't let it control me? Isn't it just an heirloom?" Don questioned what had bothered him when he first heard that part.
"No my son, it isn't just an heirloom. This necklace can be quite dangerous. It will bond with you, becoming a part of you. It will try to influence you to do things, and sometimes these things will be bad, but it can also be good. It can suggest things to do if you are in trouble, it will analyze any situation, and if you are injured, it will heal you and many more. But at no cost can you take it off. But that's not the only things this heirloom necklace does my son. In the necklaces tear drop crystal at the bottom, there are tiny flecks of colours. Those specks will make the crystal change colour according to your mood. So here." Master Splinter revealed to Donatello while giving him the Don was handed the necklace, he started to feel it , trying to memorize every feature of the necklace.
"It has a silver chain with a golden thread running through it. On a hook, there was a long teal-ish hexagonal gem that was slowly turning purple, your favourite colour I presume, my son. Around that gem, there is a blue coloured snake that is slowly turning green curled around the gem, leading to the tail that had the tear drop crystal on it that I mentioned." Master Splinter said when he saw his intellectual son start to feel the necklace. Might as well tell him what he's wearing.
Once he studied it, Don looked at Master Splinters direction, to which put at hand on his shoulder, signalling for him to put it on. He did and felt a small pinch at the back of his neck, but it slowly went down 'til he felt nothing. He studied it for a bit longer, but it was then that they heard their guests arriving, so Master Splinter and Don left to greet their guests.
"That was fun guys, thanks for inviting us to all of your parties. We'll be back again tomorrow for Mikey's party. Oh, and Don, I am slowly gaining more knowledge of the ooze, but there is so many options of why its yellow and how it works, so I'll try to update you as often as I can if I learn of anything new." April stated to Donnie hoping he understands.
"I understand, and like I said, I'll wait a long period of time if you can figure this out. BTW, thanks for electronics, some of them felt like I could use parts for some of my other projects." Donnie said.
"You're welcome, well see you guys tomorrow." April said leaving, leaving the four brothers and their Master alone to spend the rest of Donnie's party together as a family.
Well here is the eleventh chapter of 'I Can't See', hoped you enjoyed it and I will start working on the twelfth chapter and hopefully get it uploaded by the end of the month. If not, review saying that I need to hurry. I won't hold it against you.
P.S – it has been four months and eight days since Don has been blind just so you know if anybody out there got confused.
