As the battle went on, it was harder and harder for them to keep up with Leiko. She was coming at them full with full force. Not only that, but she was calling up the same kind of shadows that left the senshi's bodies before. Even Haruka was ALMOST missing The Starlights. Maybe then they could be whipped around like rag dolls while the REAL senshi could take care of business.

It didn't take too long before Sailor Moon realized Tuxedo Kamen was nowhere to be found. Almost as soon as she got distracted and yelling for him, she got knocked to the ground by some massive power.

"Sailor Moon!" Yelled Pluto.

"World Shaking!"

Neptune pulled Sailor Moon to the side and called for Venus, Pluto, and Saturn before returning to battle. Venus picked up Sailor Moon and went behind a building the same building that Mamoru still happened to be behind.

"Tuxedo Kaman?" asked Pluto, "are you ok?"

"Look around," he said weakly, "The Earth is dying at a very fast rate. Sailor Moon!" he was weak, but he still noticed his love still unconscious.

The three senshi just looked at each other. "She's ok, just knocked out. "Venus finally said the looks on Pluto and Saturn's faces meant they knew something was going to happen, and it wouldn't be anything good. "We are here to protect her. We will protect you as well, just rest."

The three senshi gathered around the two weakened comrades to make sure they were protected. Sailor Venus was oblivious to the knowing look that Saturn and Pluto gave each other. They knew, Pluto especially, that they were only postponing the inevitable. They saw all the signs, and as much as the inner senshi hated the outer senshi being secretive; this is something they never would have understood.

The three senshi keeping an eye on the prince and princess watched as the rest fought. Sailor Jupiter was having trouble keeping up, and she was probably the strongest fighter of the inners. They didn't know what she was doing, but the decay of the earth beneath them was very hard to miss. It didn't take long before they could smell the stench as well. That defiantly didn't help on their side, but it seemed that Leiko was immune.

Sailor Mercury was the first to go down. She took to the side to analyze the dirt in her computer. Maybe, just maybe something in the soil would help with finding a way to defeat her. Leiko was fast, she saw the Senshi of Wisdom was distracted and pierced her directly through the chest with her magic. Mercury didn't even know what had hit her before she fell. "Mercury!" Yelled Mars when she saw it happen. She remembered the fire. She didn't want to believe it, but she remembered it.

Uranus and Neptune were doing what they did best, work as a team. They saw Mercury go down, but they knew what was happening just like Pluto and Saturn. They also had the premonitions in Neptune's Talisman. They didn't let that distract them. So many times they were called cold by the other senshi, when in reality they couldn't afford to care. They always saw Sailor Moon's ability to care what happens to everyone more of a weakness than anything. It has it's time and place. When you are trying to prevent a major disaster you don't have that kind of luxury, and they just never understood that. Sometimes it was cute, during a crisis, it was a liability.

Jupiter was the next to go down. Hit by a shadow as she tried to hit Leiko with an attack. Mars, Uranus and Neptune were still left fighting. They didn't know how much longer they could last much longer. By this time the shadows were attacking the ones protecting the prince and princess. Sailor Moon regained consciousness as Mars got hit in the back. She didn't even have time to realize that Tuxedo Kamen was there, by this time too weak to sit up. "Mars!" She ran over to Mars with Venus trying to catch up and going down with the hit that was made for Sailor Moon. "No!" By this time the outers, who were the only other remaining senshi gathered in front of her. "If you want me, take me! Quit hurting my friends!"

"By the time I am finished, you will all be dead and then I will find another planet to have fun!"

"Fun? You did this for fun? That's why my friends are all lying there?"

"Princess," said Neptune panting. "It's time."

Sailor Moon looked at her confused. As she saw Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto bring their talismans together to bring the Silence Glaive for Saturn. "What's going on?"

"The Earth is too far gone, there is no saving it," It was eerie how Saturn spoke. Almost monotone. "Even if we were to defeat Leiko, diseased the soil and it will spread throughout the whole planet."

It was then that Sailor Moon saw Mamoru. She ran over to him and he was so out of it that he was only barely conscious. Deep in her mind, she knew that Saturn was right, but she didn't want to believe it. Based on the timing and everything that she had found out when Chibi Usa first came around. She didn't want to believe it though. She loved her life and being as "normal" as possible. "There has to be something we can do."

Pluto only shook her head and was struck down by Leiko, who hadn't heard any of the conversation and was laughing as she took down her friends one by one. Saturn raised her Glaive as Neptune went down. Uranus saw but the only thing she could do was keep going. She was the last one and she had to keep Saturn and her princess alive until this was finished. Right before the glaive went down, Uranus was struck down right next to Neptune. She almost smiled at the thought of knowing her love was there, wherever she was going. Their place in Crystal Tokyo was still a mystery, but that didn't matter. All that mattered now, was finishing this mission.

As Saturn lowered her glaive, Sailor Moon held Tuxedo Kamen's hand and with her other hand held up the Crystal. She was glad that the crystal did most of the work, all she really ever had to do was call out to it. As the crystal left her hand and went to up in the sky, she fell. She could feel her power leaving her. She had never used so much power without help, although, she knew her friends were all there with her in spirit.

The last thing she heard was Leiko screaming and feeling cold. Very, very cold. The crystal put everything and everyone in a deep freeze until the time to awaken Crystal Tokyo was there.

A/N I know I took some liberties, but I wanted to end at the formation of Crystal Tokyo (or at least the very beginning of it) I know in the manga that the talismans really woke up Saturn, but she was already awake (hence calling her glaive). I also know that she wasn't part of the formation of Crystal Tokyo (In my mind though, it is because the outer Senshi was not there), I just really like the idea of her working with Sailor Moon to do this.
