CHAPTER 7! Kyaa! at last I updated and that really took me months before updating this chapter. I really hope that you will like it...and just to remind you all that chapter 7 "mai" part 2 is really the continuation of part 1 since i originally cut it into 2 parts.
I want to thank everyone who follow and made my story their favorite and of course All the reader who will be reading my story...I'm really sorry if there are some typos and grammatical errors...

Chapter VII: "Mai"(part 1)
Naru's P.O.V.
I still can't believe that mai is now sitting in front of me. She became so beautiful and her hair is now long but her eyes is still the same as the eyes that I love the most. The only problem is, currently okuda is in front of her caressing her legs and that alone already pisses me off. Then he just gave mai a piece of paper that looks like a charm.
"here…don't be upset that you can't see them…" he said to mai.
"what is it?" asked mai
"it's a charm that I made a while ago when your cleansing…now...I want you to close your eyes" He ordered mai to close her eyes that mai did followed. He then whisper something while getting close to mai's face. A little while later he is now so much near mai's eyes and then he kiss it while still chanting something. HE KISS THE EYES OF MY BELOVED MAI! Argh! I wanted to shove him off right now but I want to know what he is doing first.
"that chant…where did I heard that again?...hmnnn…" said bou-san
"you've heard that chant before bou-san?" I asked
"well….yeah but I can't remember where and what it do….hmnnn….OW!" he suddenly receive a hit on his head from his wife
"you're really an idiot!" said ayako after hitting her husband in its head
"what's that for?! I didn't do anything … I just said that I heard that chant somewhere" said bou-san rubbing his head wherein ayako hit him
"That chant is use to some charm for someone who is being tainted by an evil spirit-…"said ayako but was cut off by okuda
"there…you can now open your eyes but do it slowly" said okuda to mai. Mai then open her eyes slowly, there I can see that her eyes were back to its original sight, I can assume that she can see now.
"that chant can give the blind a sight once more…" said ayako. Then that means that ma can see now.
"yes, your right…mai can see you now right? Mari?"
"yeah…thanks charles! Naru…it's been a while same also with everyone else…." Said mai while smiling
"Mai! Can you really see us?" asked yuu-san
'yes, yuu-nii-san…I'm sorry for making you worried"
"No…that's fine…at least now you can see…" said yuu-san while crying
"HUH! I bet you're just pretending to be blind so that all this people will pity you…huh! No wander you're a bitch!" said misaki-san
"Say anything you want misaki…but I'm not pretending and I'm not a bitch" answered mai
"YOU'RE A BITCH WHO TOOK MY BOYFRIEND FROM ME!" she shouted
"I didn't steal or took him away from you…I am just accompanying him while you are busy flirting with so many different man…don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about cause you can ask him yourself and he will answer all of your question and maybe present some evidence" said mai calmly
"YOU! YOU'RE A LIAR! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS FLIRTING! YOU ALREADY HAVE A FIANCE BUT YOU CAN STILL FLIRT INTO OTHER MAN! LIKE OKUDA-SAN! "
" no, I'm not…Charles here isn't my man…he is helping me in many other ways and as a payment I'm allowing him to do anything he wants…"
"no way mari…don't say those embarrassing things…you're making me blush" said okuda that kinda irritate me.
"BAKA! What the hell are you thinking huh? "
"well…hehehe….the time that we shared bed once? Hehehe" now this really made me mad that lin was able to notice it. That is why he was holding my shoulders as if he is saying that I need to calm down.
"see? You already shared beds! So don't deny that you are not a BITCH!"
"*sigh* do whatever or say whatever you want misaki but what you have been calling me is more suitable for you…and to my stupid fiancé…right misaki?" said mai
"wh-what are you talking about?" asked nervously by misaki while mai and okuda were looking at her so seriously
"*sigh* never mind…anyway Charles how long will this charm be effective?" asked mai now facing okuda
"well…I'm not quite sure but it will only just be for a while"
"then let me tell you this…I want everyone to have the same charm as Charles gave me…it will be a great help for your safety and all and I will advise that some of you must stay in the main house before night comes because at exactly 6pm you will no longer be able to go out of this house" said mai
"no longer be able to go out of this house? What do you mean ma?" asked ayako
"exactly as it means….not until everything is solve no one will be able to get out of here, only those who came here for the first time like you haruto-nii-san and misaki…you can still get out of here…"
"then…mai…ah!" said bou-san as we all witness mai's eyes turn back to how it is before okuda gave her the charm.
"MAI! Yo-you're eyes…." Said mother in horror
"I think, time's up…are you alright mari?" said okuda
"Charles…my fe-feet…m-my eyes…I can't see again…but my feet feels numb…." Said mai while trembling. Ayako approach her immediately and look at her feet.
"mai…does it hurt?" she asked as she checks on mai's feet
"ay-ayako…I can't feel anything….it's nu-numb…"
"no way…MARI! What did you dream of a while ago" asked okuda while now holder mai in her both arms and from my seat I can see mai trembling that made me worry. Everyone else are worried but mai won't speak.
"i-i-I can't remember…this is the first time…I can't….CHARLES! My FEET! Its numb! I can't move it! I can't feel anything! CHARLES! *sob*sob* I CAN'T REMEMBER MY DREAM! HELP ME!" said mai while crying in that man's arm.
"calm down mari…something about that dream must have made your feet numb" he answered
"NO! HOW CAN I CALM DOWN IF- huh?" mai suddenly became quiet
"Mari?
"Mai…what's wrong?" this time I'm the one who ask and the one In front of her
"naru…" she only said my name before passing out and fall into my arms.
"MARI!"
"MAI!" shouted everyone.
"mai…what's wrong…mai wake up…mai! Mai!" I said
"let me…" said ayako rushing into mai to check on her.
"how is she?" asked yuu-san
"mai…if you can hear me grip my hand…" she said as we all waited for mai to grip ayako's hand but no respond. Ayako decided to lie her down to know what really happen to her.
"ayako…what's wrong with mai?" asked bou-san
"can I ask you yuu-san…did mai faint like this before after she woke up from a long comatose state?" she asked yuu-san
"no…this is the first time…right okuda-san, seniichi?"
"yes, this the first time…so what is her condition?" asked seniichi-san
"I can't be sure right now since I don't have the equipment but mai…mai…is in another comatose state…and I think something is making her be in this condition" said ayako as she goes to bou-san and hug him
"no…way…it can't be…mari isn't comatose…this can't be…you must have observe wrong…mari can't be in a comatose state…she-she just finish her purification bath a while ago and was able to absorb the charm…that is why…this can't be-" said okuda
"I'M NOT MISTAKING ANYTHING HERE! I'm A PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR THAT'S WHY!" said ayako crying
"ayako-san…isn't there any way to make her wake up? Asked mother who is now crying in the arms of my father.
"I'm afraid there isn't…since like a normal comatose state…we must wait until she wakes up...I'm sorry…" said ayako
"no…you don't have to…I'll place mai into her room…can you guide me?" said haruto-san who is now carrying mai.
"brother…"
"yuu, mai is important to me…more than a sister…you know that yuu…I can't afford to see her like this…satou! You can guide misaki back into the main house…tell brother that I'm not going back and I'll just contact him later…I just want to be with mai right now…" he said as he and okuda goes out of the living room while carrying mai. I'm beginning to feel something around haruto-san and kinda bother unto what he just said.
"wait…what did he mean when he said that he can't afford to lose mai" asked keichi facing yuu-san
"well…you see…if mai wasn't re-adopted by uncle then she will be the wife of haruto-nii but uncle and aunty started to like her that is why they decided to re-adopt her. But haruto-nii loves her already…that's why when my father decided that mai is no longer part of our family, he immediately ask father to let him marry mai…"
"eeehh! Di-did your father agreed?" asked yasuhara
"well…he did…but…misaki here did a lot of awful things to mai until she had gone too far…"
"what do you mean too far?" asked bou-san
"misaki…she push mai…it was a rainy day and she was just about to cross the street but since she has to wait until the light turn into green for walk…brother was currently waiting at the other side of the street…then…during that time…misaki was there…she pu-push mai that cause her into an accident…she was hit by a car…haruto-nii saw everything…that is why as soon as the light turn into green, he immediately run into her but…she was losing a lot of blood…good thing is that someone already called an ambulance that is why she was rush to the hospital as soon as possible… brother was just quiet until we all came…then the doctor informed us that mai's condition is worse than expected since she lost a lot of blood…that is when haruto-nii burst out… he suddenly scolded misaki even after seeing her crying already…but…father just wanted misaki to be at peace that is why he decided to call off their engagement until uncle offered that they will re-adopt mai and took care of her…they transfer her into their family hospital in London and just live there until she recovers…nii-san was very sad that time but when he heard that mai already recovered…he just doesn't want to see mai suffer and can't afford to lose her for good." Said yuu-san as he finish telling us everything. Misaki-san as I can see is feeling guilty.
"mai-san…experience something like that…" said john
"that is already in the past brother…so why tell them something like that huh? Is it to make me feel guilty again?" said misaki, I myself wanted to be angry of what she did to my mai but I just can't be careless of my actions.
"no misaki, I just answered their question and if you are now feeling guilty at least try to understand mai since her current condition also too much for her…now she is in her second comatose state and we just don't know what will happen next" said yuu-san. We all notice that okuda now return to the living room.
"okuda-san…how is she?" asked seniichi-san.
"she's fine now…I add a nother layer of my barrier and put some charms in her room and near her…"he said
"is-is nii-san with her?" asked misaki-san
"yes, he said that he will stay beside her until she regains consciousness…even though he know that it may takes days or weeks if we don't hurry to solve this case…mari's life might be put in danger…oliver…I know she is important to you…I can see it in your eyes…and the way you desperately search for her shows that you care for her more than your fiancé over there"
He said. He notice my feelings and my affection for mai, did I make an obvious face for him to notice those.
"what are you talking about okuda-kun…my son prioritize his fiancé, we all know that he cares for her more than anyone else that is why what you are saying is not true" said father
"if that is what you believe mr. davis, but I know mari well and I also know oliver well…the way mai say your name is different when she calls ours and the way the two of you look at each other shows that you care for each other" he said
"we will do all the necessary things to be done…and okuda…mai is just another important member of my team that is why I need her back that I searched for her" I said as I hand over a folder to lin. I know that what I said is a lie but I just can't be careless of my words especially in front of my parents.
