"Well Rachel it look's like you are-"
Now:
"Well Rachel it look's like you are pregnant."
"What? Really?"
"Yes really, it seems like you are six weeks along. Now is the baby's father going to be in the picture?"
"Yes he will, if I know him like I think I do then yes he will stay in the picture."
"Alright, now I want you to go to this pharmacy to get these vitamins, alright?"
"Yes ma'am."
Rachel grabbed the slip of paper that the clinician, Dr. Mitchell, held out to her.
"Thank you Dr. Mitchell."
"Your welcome Rachel, now I am want you to set up an appointment with a pediatrician ASAP, understood?"
"Yes ma'am."
Rachel stood up and walked out of the exam room, when she walked back into the wait room she saw that all her friends were still there waiting, looking like they hadn't moved since she went back. She walked over to her friends as they stood up seeing her come over. Quinn stepped forward and looked at her friend.
"Rachel?"
With that all the emotions that Rachel had been hiding burst through and she collapsed into the blonde's arms and cried. Quinn caught the brunnette and held her while she cried, before leading her to a near by chair. When both were sitting, the others crowded around them, Quinn rubbed Rachel's back trying to calm her. After she stopped crying she sat up and looked at her friends worried faces.
"I'm pregnant."
"What?"
"I'm pregnant, San."
"Alright let's not panic."
"Cedes how can I not panic? I have to go get these vitamins, can we get them in Akron or something, just not Lima."
"Sure."
They left the clinic and headed to the next town of Colombus to get the vitamins. After they had done that they headed back to Lima. When they reached town limits they decided to go to Quinn's house to talk and see what they were going to do. When they reached Quinn's house they walked up the stairs and into Quinn's room. They sat around her room for about five minutes before Kurt decided to break the silence.
"Rachel, what will Matt say? Blaine? The other boys?"
"I don't know Kurt, I know Matt will be shocked, Blaine will be pissed, and the others I have no clue."
"When are you going to tell them Rachie?"
"I don't know Britt, I really don't."
"Oh god, I just thought of something Rach."
"What Quinn?"
"Coach Sue."
"Crap, she is going to kill me, and you know that Tammy Briggs is going to have a field day with this, as well as Ben Israel."
"Don't worry about those two Berry, we'll take care of them, but first you must tell the others, then on Monday tell Schue and Coach."
"I know and I will, come on let's go and do it now."
They all stood up and headed outside to their cars, when they were all strapped in they headed off to the Rutherford residence. On the way there Rachel thought of a few more people she would have to tell, her fathers, the Rutherfords, Principle Figgins, among others. When they reached the house Rachel was nervous, Rachel collected her bags and headed inside with the others to see the boys still playing video games. Rachel walked upstairs to her room and put her bags down and away then headed back downstairs. She saw that the boys had paused their game and were now chatting to the girls.
"Hey Matt, can I talk to you about something?"
"Yeah sure babe, wanna go to your room?"
"Yeah."
The pair walked upstairs and when they entered the room they both sat down on the bed. Rachel mulling over how to tell him and Matt wondering what was wrong.
"When we were shopping I became a little dizzy, so I sat down. Quinn and the others came over and I discovered something. We went to the clinic and got some work done and figured out what was wrong with me."
"Are you ok? Is it something life threatening?"
"I'm fine and no it isn't life threatening. Though it may cause you to be mad at me."
"What would cause me to be mad at you?"
"Matt, I'm pregnant."
"Seriously?"
"Yes."
Rachel whispered her answer as she was scared of his response. She was staring at the comforter and didn't dare look up at him for fear of what his reaction would be. He put two fingers under her chin and lifted her head up so that she would look up into his eyes, she could see worry and love in them. He smiled at her and kissed her on the forehead, when he looked her in the eyes he asked the question that had been on his mind since he found out.
"What are we going to do?"
"I don't know Matt. I honestly don't, but for now I think that we should tell the others. I was thinking of telling the boys today, your parents tomorrow alongs with my fathers, then Mr. Schue, Coach Sylvester and the others on Monday."
"That's perfect. Come on, I think that we have kept the boys in the dark long enough. Oh by the way, you are going to be standing in between me and Blaine."
Rachel laughed for the first time since hearing the news.
"What are you afraid of my brother?"
"YES!"
Rachel laughed even more as they headed downstairs and into the living room where she finally stopped laughing. She looked out at her friends and saw that the girls, plus Kurt, were smiling glad that she was happy now, while the boys looked confused as to what was going on. Making sure she was in between her boyfriend and brother, she turned to face the boys.
"We have something to tell you."
"What is it Rach?"
"Well Noah, what it is, is the fact that you are all going to be uncles! Congrats!"
Rachel watched as confusion, realization, understanding, and finally shock settled on their faces. It was Artie who spoke.
"Rachel are you serious?"
"Yep, I'm pregnant."
At that statement chaos happened. Blaine and Noah stood up and started to run at Matt. Rachel stood inbetween them to try and not have her brother and best friend kill her boyfriend, while Quinn and Kurt came over and got the boys to sit down again. Meanwhile Tina was trying to get Mike to come out of his shock, same with Brittany and Artie, and Mercedes and Sam, while Finn just stormed out. After about five minutes after the boys had come around, they turned to the couple and all the boys glared at Matt. Rachel was fed up with it, so she snapped.
"Would you quit glaring at my boyfriend! You know it takes two to make a baby."
The girls and Kurt started to laugh at the boys expressions. Finally Mike asked a question.
"Rachel, when are you going to tell Mr. Schue and Coach Sylvester?"
"Monday."
"When are you going to tell everyone at school?"
"I don't know on that one."
"Alright."
Everyone sat down on the couches and they began to talk about what would happen on Monday. They spent the rest of the afternoon talking and by the time everyone went home they were all thinking that everything would be okay.
