Chapter 11: Schedule in Kyoto pt. 2
Haru was in the lobby fanning Negi as she was still out cold from Nodoka's love confession this afternoon
'This is definitely a problem' he sighed before looking at Negi 'I know for certain that when she wakes up, she'll go crazy'
Haru's thoughts were proven true, Negi sprang up from her sleep and made childish movements about the ordeal with Nodoka
While that happened, few 3-A students watched the scene with worry at seeing the young teacher act that way
"Negi-sensei" Ayaka hummed "something's definitly not right about this..."
"What do you think happened?" Makie questioned "did Negi-chan get into an accident?"
"Probably she did something during the afternoon" Yuna suggested "after all she is foreign here"
Negi then stumbled in front of them to their surprise
"Negi-sensei" Ayaka kneeled down "are you feeling okay?"
"Did something happen this afternoon?" Makie added
"O-oh n-nothing at all!" Negi stammered "no one told me that they love me or anything!"
"NANI!" the students shouted in surprise "loved you?!"
Negi covered her mouth and ran like her life depended on it with Haru following behind calling to her to slow down
"This is unexpected" Yuna hummed "who do you think it was?"
"I don't know" Ayaka trembled "but I'm betting it was our class who confessed her feelings"
"Then this is a job for..." Yuna made a gleam in her eye "her"
Who better to get the information than the number 1 reporter of 3-A Kazumi Asakura
"So you want me to find a student teacher relationship?" Kazumi grinned before writing it down
"That's right" Yuna answered "something indecent happened this afternoon"
"Ooh sounds like a big scoop" Kazumi smirked "so tell me how it happened"
Ayaka explained the situation about Negi's outburst earlier
"How is that indecent?" the young reporter retorted
After a bit of shouting from the girls, Kazumi set out through the halls thinking on who would be a candidate on confessing to Negi
'And there's the girl now' she smiled seeing Nodoka alone in the room "hey Nodoka, I have to ask you something"
"What is it Asakura-san" the shy librarian asked before taking a glass of water
"Is it true that you have thoughts about sleeping with Negi-sensei?" the reporter questioned with her recorder
Nodoka spat out her drink spraying Kazumi in the process
"W-WHERE DID YOU GET THAT IDEA!?" she fidgeted with embarrassement
After a bit more teasing and a promise to not reveal this topic, Kazumi waved Nodoka goodbye
"Well that cocludes today's aspect of my job" Kazumi sighed "not really much a big scoop on this story" she then erased the evidence, after doing so she then saw Negi looking depressed with Haru walking beside her
"Oh what do I do..." the young teacher grumbled "this trip suddenly got turned upside down"
"Don't think like that Negi-chan, if you keep this up then you won't have good memory on this trip" Haru reasoned "besides Nodoka-chan feels the same way about this predicament"
'Even though that this story is closed, I should at least talk to her' Kazumi thought as she tailed them outside
The teachers were breathing the fresh air, but then Negi saw a kitten on the road but a vehicle was behind the animal
'That cat will get run over!' Kazumi's eyes widen further to see Negi jump in to save the animal 'NEGI-SENSEI!'
But then she was struck speechless at seeing the vehicle flip over Negi and landed in front of her 'wh-WHAT WAS THAT JUST NOW?!' her mind screamed with questions at the scene she just saw
"Negi-chan!" Haru ran to his girlfriend "daijobu ka?"
"I'm fine" she nodded "and the cat is also safe"
The two checked on the driver to see the person in shock "what... just happened?"
"You almost hit my girlfriend and you swerved away from her causing your car to spin out of control" Haru answered
As the driver left both of them were relieved to cover the problem
"Geez aneki" Chamo breathed deeply "you almost blew your secret if aniki wasn't here to help you"
'That ermine just spoke!' she the hid behind the plants while shaking with excitement 'I've found it! The scoop of the century!'
After some time of planning, Kazumi Asakura the ace reporter (more like big troublemaker) got to Negi about her magic secret, which led to a disaster when other students saw them together and naked! Causing uproar with the reporter and a fight with the girl receiving the pain
"It's official" the reporter spoke while nursing her head "magic is a pain"
"Not necessarily" Chamo spoke with vigor "I think you and I are going to get along just fine"
Chamo had a sneaky idea the involves both Negi and Haru in this, but he didn't even realize that a grey and red bird saw him and listened to the plan before flying away to tell it's owner of the plan
Back inside the inn, Negi was explaining about her new problem with Asuna and Setsuna
"Say what!" Asuna gaped "someone found you out! And that someone is Asakura!?"
"That's right" Negi sobbed
"This is indeed a problem" Setsuna nodded
But as they talked about this predicament Haru came by after his patrol shift
"Hey there girls" he greeted but noticed Negi's expression "someone in our class found out Negi-chan's secret?" he guessed getting nods from the girls
As Haru was thinking of a plan to convince that reporter to not spread the word, Kazumi Asakura (with Chamo) suddenly came in
"Hey there" she waved
"Asakura-san!" Negi then went behind Haru for protection
"Hold up there sensei" the reporter raised her arms "I'm just here to tell you that I won't be spreading your secret"
"Really!?" Negi jumped in front of her student "you won't do it?"
"That's right" she pulled out her evidence "I'm giving you back the thing's I gathered about your secret"
Negi was celebrating that she could keep her teaching job, with the other students sweatdropping at the scene
"I guess that means Negi can stay after all" Asuna sighed
"Also Negi-sensei can continue without problems now" Setsuna nodded
Niether did anyone realize that Haru was frowning at the sudden change in Asakura's attitude 'something's not right here' he then glanced to the ermine on the girl's shoulder 'and has you involved in this...little rat'
After getting the situation in control, 3-A was now having a blast in there room doing activities that caused a ruckus to the building, resulting in the teachers to jump into the scene
"OKAY THAT'S ENOUGH!" Nitsuta shouted in fury "I understand that you girls are enjoying your trip here, as a guidance I will not tolerate misbehaviour in 3-A!" he berrated the sudden quiet girls "if I catch you girls out of your assigned rooms without reason tonight, then you will be in the lobby sitting in seiza position understood?!"
"Seiza in the lobby!?" they cried in dismay
The teachers left with Shizuna apologizing to them
"This stinks" Makie pouted "I was hoping that I could have some fun with Negi-chan tonight"
"You got that right" Fuka huffed "here I thought we could have fun without worry"
"Sounds like you girls got a warning for tonight's recklessness" Kazumi smirked while leaning on a wall
"Asakura-san!" Ayaka called "where have you been all this time you chicken!?"
"Just making plans on making this night a special game" she then made silly cute look "I call it: lip scramble. Operation get a kiss from sensei"
That caused a shock/glee to the class with red faces
"A kiss from sensei!?" Makie gasped
"This is too good to be true!" Fuka cried in joy
Kazumi then explained the rules, the girls will be in groups of two with pillows as suitable weapons for the prson getting the kiss wil recieve a special prize but those who are caught by the guidance counselor are out of the game
Chamo smiled at the reactions he was watching 'this is good!' his eyes gleamed 'I can now get more goods for those contracts on aneki and aniki'
It was now bedtime most of 3-A are now in their rooms waiting in excitement for this game to start
Asuna and Setsuna are now with their teachers in their private room
"Ahh, it's nice to finally sit down from such a wild day" Negi sighed on her futon
"At least there isn't any trouble for tonight" Haru reasoned
"We even checked around this afternoon Negi" Asuna smiled "nothing weird happened today"
"And there is no sign of the enemy either" Setsuna added
Just then Shizuna came in, prompting the girls to hide while Negi and Haru looked surprised at her sudden visit
"Negi and Haru-sensei" she called "are you asleep yet?"
"Oh shizuna-sensei" Negi stood up "I was just about to get ready"
"Okay then" she nodded "just leave the patrolling to us"
Just as the door closed Shizuna was actually Kazumi in disguise with Chamo popping out of her jacket
"Hurry ane-san!" the ermine whispered "it's almost time to start!"
"Don't have to tell me twice" she grinned "what a good way to make this exciting!"
It was now time to start the plan!
"Welcome everybody to the game that will struggle on who gets the chance to kiss either Haru or Negi-sensei!"
The girls watching this show squealed in delight and excitement to see this
"First we have group 1, the Narutaki twins!"
The twins were in the dark room with the younger twin crying a bit
"Onee-chan!" Fumika called to her sister "please reconsider, I don't want to do sezia in the lobby!"
"Relax Fumika" Fuka smiled "we're sure to win this game!"
"Next we have group 2,Ayaka and Chisame!"
The girls are walking down the halls with pillows that are ready to use in the fight with Ayaka strongly thinking about Negi
"I will not let the others get to Negi-sensei!' she quivered
'Why am I even here?' Chisame gritted her teeth, just then her mind flashed an image of Haru making the girl blush 'curse my desire to have Haru-sensei's lips!'
"Then there's group 3, Ku Fei and Kaede!"
The two fighters were dilly dally in a different area
"Kya!" the chinese girl blushed bashfully "Negi or Haru! Hard choosing!"
Kaede just smiled as her mind played a quick imagination of her kissing the assistant teacher
"Next is group 4, Makie and Yuna"
The sports girls are excited to get a kiss from either of their teachers
"Negi-chan or Haru-kun" the gymnast hummed "who will you choose Yuna-san"
"I'm set to get Haru-sensei" she smiled "he's a great catch, Negi-sensei is really lucky!"
"Now onto group 5, Yue and Nodoka!"
Yue was walking calmly about her plan to get her shy friend the chance she deserved
"Yue-san" Nodoka whispered "are you sure about this?"
The girl just nodded assuring the shy girl that it's okay
"We now have group 6, Ako and Akira"
Ako was bit nervous about getting to kiss Haru and she clutched her pillow tightly but she felt her shoulder being grasped by her friend
"It's okay Ako-san" Akira smiled "I'm here to help you"
"And lastly group 7, Chizuru and Zazie"
Chizuru was smiling that she would get a chance to capture Haru's lips but before thinking she decided to talk to her partner
"Zazie-san" she called "why do you want to kiss Haru-sensei?"
Zazie flinched at having her thoughts read by the motherly student, knowing well that she preffered speaking softly, pulled out a small whiteboard and marker from her sleeves (hey she has after school activity tha skills that would come from the circus)
She wrote down her answer before showing it to Chizuru
I just wanted to give him a thank you kiss
"What for?"
Zazie erased her writing and wrote a new answer
For giving his time to talk to me
"Now let the game begin!" Kazumi cheered with enthusiasm
Back in the private teachers room, Negi and Haru shivered suddenly
"Has the cold wind entered our room?" Negi questioned
"Iye, the window is closed" Haru answered 'something tells me that the little rat has made made his move...'
Negi then started writing down her name on the paper dolls handed to her from Setsuna, she made some mistakes before writing her name correctly
"Even for my knowledge" Negi scratched her head "it's still hard for me to get it right"
After Negi called her little talisman to take her place tonight as she suddenly jumped out of the window to make her patrol
Haru smiled to see his girlfriend try to make her own solutions, but his thoughts were cut when his bird came back
"What did you get Garuda?"
The bird squawked giving the intel to it's master making him clench his hands "So that little rat did it again huh?" he then looked at his bird "arigatou Garuda, you can rest now"
The bird dissappeared leaving the ring which dropped onto his hand
"When I get my hands on you little rat you'd regret on making such decisions"
Back in the commentator's office Chamo shivered a bit getting Kazumi's attention
"Something wrong?"
"It's nothing ane-san" the ermine replied 'at least... I hope it was'
Haru decided to do something about this and went out of the room
(By now the battle for the teachers' lips have been the same so I'll focus this part on Haru)
Haru has been walking through the halls thankfully not seeing the girls who are participating in the wild game yet, he then made it to the lobby seeing Nitsuta disciplining Chisame and Yuna
"Nitsuta-san" he called to the counselor "what is going on here?" he said playing dumb for the moment
"Ah Haru-san" the man blinked "I found these two fooling around and decided to punish them"
Haru looked at the girls who are crying waterfalls in hopes that he save them which dropped when he shook his head no
"There might be more of them" he said making the man irk a bit "but I can't help that some of them would be going after me..."
"What do you mean?" Nitsuta questioned
"I'm saying is that the girls might be finding me" he reasoned "so to cause less trouble, I'll look for them and ask why they are doing this"
"That's fair" the counselor nodded "if I find them first then they are punished like these two" he clarified as he pointed to the girls he punished
"Understood" Haru nodded back "I'm off to find them now"
The assistant teacher walked around the area hoping that his feeling earlier got some good results, which paid of by seeing the participants of groups 6 and 7 looking at him
"Haru-sensei" they called
"Oh good" he breathed in relief "I was able to catch you girls"
Haru's words caused them to blink until they realized he knew something so to save themselves the trouble they told him about the situation which caused Haru to intenally curse at Chamo, he took a deep breath for a few seconds before looking back at them
"Now since you've told me about this game formed by the ringmaster" he smiled a bit "I should give you girls a kiss for telling me this"
"D-d-did I just here that right?" Kazumi gaped with the audience feeling the same "what could Haru-sensei possibly be meaning!?"
The girls watching the scene silently screamed in envy that Haru would be so generous
The girls blushed deeply that he would still give them a kiss after the scheme that Kazumi Asakura made
"Oh Haru-sensei" Chizuru giggled with red cheeks "you are so naughty"
"..." Zazie nodded feeling the same way
Ako couldn't single word for her brain was shut down when she heard the word kiss, luckily Akira (who was able to control her blush) was able to hold her in place in case she would fall
"Let's take this moment outside girls" he suggested 'and hopefully those cards would appear between us than in the little rat's paws'
The group made it outside enjoying the night breeze with the moon shining brightly in the dark sky
"Now before I give you your rewards" Haru spoke the utmost seriousness "I can give you this moment in two ways: gentle... or passionate"
Chizuru and Zazie stepped forward signifying that they want to have the latter option while Ako and Akira stayed back prompting to go with the former option
"Okay then" he then went to Chizuru "do you really want this?"
"Hai sensei" she nodded feeling her heart beat really fast "please let me remember this night for a long time"
'You're really asking something big aren't you Chizuru-chan' he chuckled 'then again, who am I to judge that kind of attitude'
He leaned in close touching his lips with hers signifying the contract to be sealed, Haru then held her close making the kiss deep, Chizuru wrapped her arms around his neck feeling her heart flutter in joy at the warmth she just felt
The two parted lips getting the oxygen back into their lungs, Haru looked at the girls reaction and chuckled at what he saw
Ako was a red tomato with her and covering her face in embarrasment to see such a thing, Akira was the same but her eyes couldn't be covered and steam was leaking out of her ears, Zazie remained calm but there was a slight red tint on her cheeks as she tried to calm her heart down
"Haru-sensei" Chizuru gasped after getting her breathe back "you...wonderful"
"I'm glad that you enjoyed it" he then placed something in her hand "keep this with you at all times, for it is the prize that was promised in this game"
Zazie then stepped forward while covering her face with her sleeve "..."
"Wakata Zazie-chan" Haru nodded "I'll make it slow for you to enjoy"
Zazie leaned on his chest hearing his heartbeat calming her a bit, she then looked up to see him smilng down at her (which prompted her to blush again)
"...?" she asked shyly
"Of course Zazie-chan" he patted her head "we can do it now"
She tiptoead her way up while closing her eyes waiting for the special moment, her lips felt warm when Haru did his part, it was a wonderful feeling in her body floating to the sky but then her body was tightened, she opened her eyes seeing Haru wrapping her arms around her making the kiss deep and passionate
The two parted lips feeling hazy in their moment, they looked at each other knowing well that it was a wonderful time they spent together
After getting their bearings, Haru presented the card in front of her
"...?" she pointed to the object in his hand
"Yes Zazie-chan" he placed the item in her hands "it's your prize"
Ako was still red as a tomato, but thanks to the support of Akira, she stepped forward feeling a bit nervous on this kiss thing
"Don't worry Ako-chan" Haru assured his student "you did want this in the first place"
Ako steeled herself and looked at her teacher in the eyes, she can feel something warm in her body before she readied herself for her big moment
Haru chuckled at her actions, he then grasped her shoulders and gently placed his lips on hers
Ako felt happy that she was able to have this, her heart was jumping joy and she wouldn't want anything else other than this
The two ended their kiss with Ako feeling a bit shaken when she had to end her special time
"How do you feel Ako-chan?"
"A little better than expected" she turned away feeling a bit nervous on her selfish action but then she felt a hand on her cheek "Haru-sensei?"
"Always remember this Ako-chan" he smiled as he gave her the card "even after this, I always see you as Ako-chan"
Ako was caught off guard to hear that, but smiled as she held her card to her chest cherishing it closely
Haru then looked to Akira (who was still red-faced) flailing her arms and shaking her head wildly that she would do this, causing him to laugh
"Okay Akira-chan" he smiled "I won't kiss you" he then suddenly got close to her "I'll save your reward for a more private time"
Akira blew steam out of her ears at getting the hidden agenda of his words
Haru and his group got back to see the girls who participated in this game event with Negi and Kazumi (along with Chamo) sitting in the lobby in seiza position by Nitsuta himself
"So these are everyone who caused the trouble?" he asked the counselor
"That's all of them Haru-san" Nitsuta then groaned feeling the diziness on his head come back "oh I don't feel so good"
"Why don't you get some sleep Nitsuta-san" Haru suggested "I'll take care of the disobedient students tonight"
"Very well" the counselor groaned "but I expect no more ruckus when I get to my room"
"Expect no less when I'm through with them" he nodded "you won't be hearing from them anytime tonight"
After the man left the lobby the students plus Negi relaxed but went stiff when Haru coughed
"Okay girls, I know that we had a troubling night" he smiled "so let's save the noise for tomorrow okay"
The students sighed in relief tha Haru would be saving them from losing the feeling in their legs
"However... should I see you girls outside again there will be no breakfast for any of you" he called making the students flinch "Asakura-san, you stay"
After the girls went back to their rooms leaving him, Negi, Asuna Setsuna and Chamo the only ones in the lobby
"So this is the cause of all the trouble" Setsuna sweatdropped at seeing the paper dolls on the floor
"At least the trouble is over" Asuna laughed hoarsely trying to lighten the mood
"Thank you fro trying to make me feel better Asuna-chan, but there is a serious matter to attend to" Haru glared at the supects "like dealing with these two"
Haru crossed his arms looking very dissapointed (if not angry) for putting poor Negi (sitting next to Setsuna and Asuna) in a big dilemma
"Now, what did I tell you about you using Negi-chan for your plans?" He questioned harshly making the ermine sweat a lot
Kazumi shivered at the ermine's fright from her sensei, she inetrnally prayed to not get on her sensei's bad side
"To not do it until until I get either your or aneki's approval" the ermine answered
"And yet you did it anyway" Haru growled making the animal fall on to his back "and that means you have to receive that treatment again..."
Chamo scurried back against the wall trying to escape from his punishment
Bind...please
Chains appeared and wrapped itself around Chamo tightly, the ermine was now crying a waterfall for his upcoming punishment
Haru looked sterny at him "there's no escape" grabbed one of his paws and placed the ring and moved it to his belt
Scare...please
Chamo moved like a maniac silently screaming when the spell activated, after a few seconds he passed out with foam coming out of his mouth
The students stared at the ermine's state and couldn't help to either feel sorry for him or scared by what Haru did to him
"Whoa" Asuna spoke "now why didn't he do that when you got tricked by him earlier"
"Haru-kun told me that Chamo got that punishment when he was in England with me" Negi reasoned "and he also said that he would do that if the trouble is very serious"
Setsuna stayed quiet, but internally her mind was playing on her childhood, ever since the incident of nearly losing her friend's life, she had devoted her work to getting stronger which led her to be distant from her childhood friend ever since
Kazumi gulped hard at seeing Chamo being treated as such, now she really wished that the punishment wouldn't be harsh
"Kazumi Asakura" she went stiff as Haru called her "I know that you've got some skills on your dream to being a real reporter, but you have to realize that your choices can ruin lives" she looked away for fear to being a burden on this trip "so I'll have to confiscate your reporting equipment"
Kazumi's eyes went wide "my what will be WHAT!?" she panicked but as her eyes met his she went quiet again regretting on her sudden outburst "wakata sensei" she gave her stuff on his waiting hand "anything else?"
"No" he replied "you can go back to your room"
He then turned back to the rest of his friends
"Let's get some sleep now girls"
Daylight came and the 3-A gathered on the winning group, presenting their prizes to everyone
"So that's the prize Asakura has been talking about" Yuna grinned "I can't help but be jealous of it"
The winners each had a card with a picture of themselves on it:
Nodoka's card depicted her with a levitating book and a row the same item behind her
For Chizuru's card, she was wearing her apron and was holding a broomstick in her left hand and frying pan in her right hand
Zazie's card showed her wearing her circus outfit holding onto a trapeze while carrying a small bag
Finally Ako's card depicted her in a nurse outfit wearing a pair of gloves and carried a small medic bag
"You three are really lucky" Konoka cried waterfall tears, still feeling envious that she couldn't get one for herself "I really want one of those cards..."
After some more rambling, Nodoka decided to walk away to think on her gift that she got by kissing Negi
'Negi-sensei' she looked at her card 'I can't believe that I got this by kissing her' she giggled merrily before spotting her teacher with Haru, Asuna and Kazumi
"So what are we going to do about this?" Asuna presented the botched cards of Negi's clones in one hand with the contract cards from Nodoka, Ako, Chizuru and Zazie on the other
"Don't worry about it Asuna-chan" Haru smiled as he took his cards from her hand "the girls doesn't know about it" he then took a glance to see Nodoka looking at him "besides it's their prize, let them keep it"
"She's right ane-san" Chamo spoke "what they don't know won't get them involved"
"Besides" Kazumi grinned "it's not like they would find out right?"
"SHUT IT YOU TWO!" Asuna shouted making them quiet before she turned to Haru "are you sure about them Haru?"
"I'm positive" he smiled "they won't know until they got curious"
"Okay that's enough" Chamo called as he presented a copy card of Asuna "let's get you ready for later ane-san"
"Why do I need this anyway?" Asuna grumbled as she took the card
Chamo then explained that the artifact can be called by the partner should the mage be busy with their spells
"All right" Asuna nodded "how do I do that?"
"Just say adeat" the ermine nodded "and to change it back, say abeat"
After doing what the ermine said, Asuna was able to produce her harisen in hand
"Suge na!" she cheered "it feels like i'm a mage too!"
As the students and Negi were talking about this ability, Nodoka looked at her card with curiosity
'Th-this is more than just a card?' she thought about the conversation earlier "a-adeat" her card glowed transforming into a book "a book?" she then opened it to see empty pages "it's blank..."
Just then the page showed a picture of her kissing Negi with words below it saying
Today I kissed my sensei on the lips but accidentally
Ahh...someday that I hope to have a truly romantic kiss
The girls face went bright red at reading it, but got surprised when the picture was redrawn showing Haru waving at her with words written below
Hi Nodoka-chan, if you're reading this then you have stumbled onto something dangerous
She eeped when danger was in her mind but kept on reading
Anyway...what you have is a powerful artifact
Also I want to congratulate you for being such a brave girl, and as such you at least deserve to know what is going on...
Nodoka gulped at the serious words that Haru spoke of before the page changed again with a drawing of Haru thinking with the words below it
First of all, Negi-chan and I are wizards and on a mission to deliver a letter to Kyoto's Kansai magic association and secondly this magic stuff is to be kept secret from everyone else at all costs understand?
Nodoka took a deep breathe trying to swallow the information that she just read and continued reading
If word gets out that Negi-chan and I can do magic then bad things will happen to us, I would rather have you out of this situation but I trust your decision if you decide to get involved in this... good luck Nodoka-chan
Nodoka closed her book, she was a little out of it but shook her head 'Haru-sensei trusts me on this' she thought 'I'll help Negi-sensei on her mission'
But then she was kicked out of her thoughts (literally) by Haruna as she shouted to her to get ready for the free activity today
Negi and Haru sneaked away from their students and headed out to meet Asuna and Setsuna but got surprised to see group 5 with them
"Asuna-san!" Negi whispered "why are they with you!?"
"Gomene Negi" She apologized "they followed me here"
"Well let's not fret around here any longer" Haru interrupted them "let's go around and have some fun shall we?"
Group 5 cheered and went to a random place to have fun, Haruna teased that Asuna was having a date with their teachers which caused her to hit her head on a statue and correct the girl that she was just helping Haru keep Negi out of trouble
"That was a sneaky trick Haruna-chan" Haru smirked at her student "you can be a force to be reckoned with"
"Why thank you Haru-sensei" Haruna's eyes glamed a bit "but please call me Paru"
Everyone was having fun with their activities while the girls were busy having fun Asuna, Negi and Haru went to an alleyway
"Okay" Haru spoke "you still have the letter Negi-chan?"
"Got it Haru-kun" Negi nodded as she took out the letter
"And I'll be there to help Negi if trouble comes by" Asuna assured
"Okay the plan is set" Haru nodded "but just in case" he placed his right hand on his belt

Another Haru appeared "my clone will go with you two as back up should the enemy be strong"
They split up and started to get the mission underway not realizing (well the girls anyway) that Nodoka was quietly following them
Negi, Asuna and Haru are running into their destination
"This is it" Negi spoke as they see a giant set of shrine gates "the path to the Kansai Magic Association"
But before they could move a small ball of light appeared before taking the form of a chibi version of Setsuna, she then explained that the real her is doing fine and her chibi self will guide them to their destination
After entering the pathway, the group has been running for a while which led to the three to pant and fall to their knees
"Is it always like this?" Asuna grasped for the air to get back in her lungs "We've been running for minutes now"
"Something's not right here" Haru checked the area to see anything out of the ordinary
"I agree Haru-sensei" chibi-Setsuna nodded "something is definitely not right here"
He took out three rings and placed them over his buckle
Garuda/Unicorn/Kraken...please
Three of his little friends appeared inn front of him "I want you three to split up and see if anything is out of the ordinary"
As they went on the move, they suddenly appeared back in front of the group
"I knew it" Haru growled "we've been forced inside a cage!"
"Hai Haru-sensei" chibi-Setsuna nodded "we are in an endless loop of the path"
As the group discussed about how to escape, Asuna started to fidget
'Oh no' she realized 'I have to go to the bathroom!'
"Asuna-san" Negi called "are you all right?" she fell back when he student suddenly stood up and ran
"Asuna-san/chan!" Negi and Haru called to the girl as they tried to catch up
After some running they found a pit stop to relax for a while, Chamo then discussed about the contract between Negi and Asuna while chibi-Setsuna compared it with her training with the difference that for a lone person took years to control their energy while Chamo said that as long as the caster can supply the power, then the partner can use it too
"That was a good lesson there... Chamo" Haru clapped at the display of power Asuna just did "but it still doesn't help on how to get out of here"
And just then a giant demonic spider appeared with a boy on top of it
"Hey I know you!" Asuna called pointing to young lad "you're that kid we saw earlier"
"That's right" he nodded "the name's Kotaro Inugami" he then pointed to Haru "and I've been curious about you"
The battle then started with Negi activating the contract, Asuna leaped forward and toppled the insect and used her harisen to dispel it
"Impressive there nee-san" Kotaro smiled "but I'm going after him now"
He leaped forward dodging Asuna's strikes pushed Negi aside and aimed a kick to Haru
"Haru/-kun/sensei/aniki!" the girls and Chamo shouted to him
He dodged the kick and grabbed his leg making a quick spin and let go sending the boy a distance away
"Heh" Kotaro smiled "not bad, even though you're not using spells right now I can tell that you have trained yourself before using magic"
"I know very well that relying on my rings alone can't help me all the time" Haru nodded "but I'd rather not fight you"
Kotaro felt insulted at being denied of his battle which led him to ball his hands "are you saying that I'm weak?"
"Yes" Haru nodded smirking that the boy was falling into his trap
Kotaro growled as he dashed into a blur making the girls gape at his speed before he reappeared in front of Haru delivering a left straight
The punch was blocked sending a burst of air around the two causing the boy to gape at his attack being stopped so easily
"Like I said" Haru spoke calmly "weak" he then tightened the hold causing Kotaro to flinch before sending him away via kick to the chest
Asuna had her jaw dropped along with Chamo at Haru's power "wow, just wow" was all they could say
"C'mon you guys" he gestured to everyone let's go hide for a while and think on how to get out of here
"Oh no you don't!" Kotaro came back looking a bit feral "you're not getting away from me!"
He then got a kick on the chin which sent him upward to the sky before suddenly appearing again on the ground a bit winded from the last attack
Haru looked down "had enough?"
Kotaro struggled to stay awake "not...yet" he said before passing out
Haru looked back to everyone "Well" he called "let's move"
"H-hai!" chibi-Setsuna nodded making everyone move
Meanwhile Nodoka was somewhere in the area reading her book about their adventure "suge" she smiled "Haru-sensei is a really strong person" but then she remembered Haru's "Negi-sensei" she then heard something
"Wait till I get my hands on that guy" Kotaro growled scratching the floor a bit with his claws "I'm going to make him pay for underestimating me!" he then jumped to the shrine frame and moved away
'Kotaro Inugami' she remembered the boy from her book, she checked on it again to see Haru, Negi and Asuna looking panicked "I'll help you out!"
With everyone trapped inside this loop, there could be no possible way out for them
"GAAAH!" Chamo screamed "how are we going to get out of here!?" he only got a hit on the head by Asuna
"Whining about won't get us anywhere" she huffed before looking at her teachers "Any ideas you two?"
"I can't think of anything Asuna-san" Negi looked down "I'm sorry"
"If only Nodoka-chan was here" Haru hummed "she would help"
As if Haru's wish was granted the girl appeared above them "Negi-sensei! Haru-sensei!" she waved "I'm here now"
"Honya-chan!" Asuna gaped at seeing her classmate "What ae you doing here!?"
"Glad that you could make it Nodoka-chan" Haru smiled "we really need your help"
"Haru-kun" Negi blinked "how did you know she's here?"
"That's simple Negi-chan" he replied "I told her our secret"
A moment of silence and then...
"YOU WHAAAAT!?" Asuna and Chamo panicked while Negi fainted "how could you tell her that?!"
"Easy, I saw Nodoka-chan spy on us"
The two stared at Nodoka who repeatedly bowed for her rash decision, after some explanation of the girl's artifact which can read minds, meaning that there is a way to get out of the loop and back on the mission
"Okay so it's agreed" Haru noted "I take care of that wild dog with Asuna-chan, while Negi-chan will be my support while keep Nodoka-chan safe to get the information"
"Hai" Nodoka nodded gripping her book "I'll get it from Kotaro-san"
The group went back to the road waiting for him to come at them
"He's above us!" Chibi-Setsuna called pointing the sky seeing a small black dot coming in
"I got you now!" Kotaro raored ready to deliver his attack
Defend...please
He was bounced back when the barrier making him skid back on the floor
"Not really a reasonable fighter are you?" Haru asked mockingly "you, a lone being, facing a group of mages"
"I'm not a weak person" Kotaro's shadow spread wide summoning a pack of shadow beasts "I'm the master of wolves!"
'A ninja like Kaede-chan' he smirked 'this could be interesting'
The pack then leaped forward tackling Asuna to the ground
"AHH! Stop!" she laughed thanks to being licked by the animals "don't lick me like that!"
Kotaro then made seven clones and jumped for his target opponent "You're mine now!"
Negi fired her magic arrows which prompted the clones to deflect them, which was enough time for them to be struck by a different set of projectiles instead, the clones dissappeared leaving the real one with a grazed soldier
"Silver bullets!" he grunted "not an ordinary western wizard are you?" he grinned
"I'm more of a special case" Haru nodded "so don't think that you can beat me"
"Sounds like a challenge" Kotaro started to change his appearance to something beastly "and I can't help but get excited!"
Kotaro then lunged to Haru who remained calm as he dodged his claws while making counters by tangling his limbs a bit and kicked him away
"You're too stubborn to admit defeat" he said while dodging another claw strike "which leaves you open to my counters"
"I'm not admitting anything to you!" Kotaro growled getting annoyed as he continues to miss "fight back damn it!"
"I don't feel like fighting much" he delivered another kick to the boy's head "besides, I have to help Negi-chan with her mission" he then placed his right hand on his buckle
Bind...please
Chains appeared from every direction trapping Kotaro in place as he struggle to break free
"That's taken cared off" Haru turned to Negi and Nodoka "Nodoka-chan if you please..."
Nodoka walked forward with her book ready "um Kotaro-san, can you tell us how to get out of here?"
After getting the intel the group cheered after finally getting out of the loop they were trapped in
"We're finally out!" Asuna smiled
Chibi-Setsuna then remade the seal so that Kotaro was the only one trapped inside
"Now I'm trapped..." Kotaro sighed as the chains dissappeared but he smiled "Haru Narumi, you just made me more eager to fight you!"
(Sorry for not including the fight in this scene, I was saving the battle in the next one)
Back with Setsuna, she was running with Konoka in hand with Haru, Yue and Haruna following behind, then her reflexes went active making her catch a handful of needles
'This is bad!' she frowned 'the enemy is attacking in broad daylight, I must get ojou-sama to safety!' she then saw that Cinema Village is in front of her 'perfect place to hide for a while' she carried Konoka in her arms and jumped a good distance leaving Haruna and Yue gaping at her
"What do you think she's going to do?" Yue sweatdropped
Haruna on the other hand smirked with thoughts that would make other step back which resulted a smack from Haru "itai" she rubbed her head
"Don't go jumping to things that you can't prove" he said sternly "but since we're here, let's split up and have some fun okay?"
On a distance not far from the group, Tsukuyomi sighed at seeing her target entering Cinema Village
"Oh senpai" she smiled "you picked such an interesting place for us to do battle" she giggled 'which means I can have fun playing with you for a while'
Konoka and Setsuna changed clothes to fit them in the era of th village, which led them to other people taking pictures of the two, also it made Setsuna smile that she was able to have some fun together just like their childhood
Niether did they realize that Haruna and Yue were watching them from afar
"Those two are definitely more than friends" Haruna purred at the thoughts she was having about them
"Definitely something is suspicious with those two" Kazumi joined with a few others surprising the two
Before any more of the conversation cold escalate something grabbed there attention
A carriage appeared before Setsuna and Konoka with the former looking surprised at who was riding it
"YOU!" the swordswoman shouted
"Yes it's me" Tsukuyomi smiled as she was wearing western clothes to disguise herself as an actress "I'm the noble lady from the mansion of the east" she then looked at Konoka "and I've come to collect the princess to settle your debt"
The crowd gathered around getting interested at seeing this, but then everything stopped when everyone felt a presence of someone approaching, they followed their feeling and turned to see a cloaked figure walking by stopping between Setsuna and Tsukuyomi
"I'm afraid I can't let you take that chance" he spoke in a protective manner
"And to whom am I speaking to?" Tsukuyomi asked kindly, she got her answer when the man lifted his left hand showing a green gem ring on his middle finger "ah, it's been a while since I met you... yubiwa no mahotsukai"
Konoka felt curious at the name as she decided to talk to the cloaked figure "um, do I think it's you under that cloak?"
The man turned around and lifted his cowl a bit showing his face which resulted in Konoka hugging him in joy
"Haru-kun!" she smiled "I'm glad to see you again!"
"Haru-sensei can act?" Natsumi asked now feeling curious of her sensei "did he used to do plays before?"
"Who knows Natsumi-san" Ayaka called "Haru-sensei can surprise us"
"Shh!" Haruna shushed "this is getting good!"
"Now tell me" Tsukuyomi giggled in amusement "why are you defending her?"
"That's because..." Haru clasped his hands with Konoka's "hime-chan and I are engaged"
Now that unexpected turn caused the audience to cheer wildly that the man who arrived was protecting his bride while 3-A madly blushed at Haru declaring such a thing
"First Setsuna having a special relationship with Konoka, now Haru-sensei declares that he is engaged to her!?" Haruna flailed crazily "just what is going on here!"
"Very well" Tsukuyomi removed her glove "I'll fight for the princess instead" she threw her glove which Setsuna caught "I'll be waiting for you at the bridge next to the main gate in thirty minutes" she went to her carraige "I'm sorry that it was inconvinent of me to do this, but I wanted to have about with you now"
After she moved away Setsuna and Haru were suddenly jumped by 3-A students at their interaction just now. While that happened Konoka just looked at the distance feeling uneasy at Tsukuyomi's presence
"Oh Haru-sensei" Ayaka's eyes welled up a bit "for you to declare an engagment on being Konoka-san's husband to protect her has moved me to tears"
"Yeah you really surprised us sensei!" Haruna grinned "I didn't know you have a talent for acting"
"I can't really let Konoka-chan feel scared" Haru reasoned 'though I get the feeling that Konoe-san might just do that...'
Back in Mahora, the Headmaster sneezed suddenly after his checking on the reports "now why do I suddenly feel good and make a document about my granddaughter's engagement with Haru-kun?"
The group who now will help Haru and Setsuna on the duel as they walked to the destination meeting chibi-Negi and Chamo appearing before Setsuna and Haru
"Negi-sensei/Chamo!" they whispered at seeing her again "what are you doing here?"
"We followed your trail Setsuna-san" she replied "what's happening with you?"
She got her answer when Tsukuyomi was waiting for her on the bridge
"Konoka-sama, Setsuna-sempai" she smiled "you both will be mine"
Konoka went behind Haru and Setsuna "Se-chan, Haru-kun" she whimpered "I'm scared"
"It's okay ojou-sama/hime-chan" they smiled warmly "we will protect you always"
The assurance of the two made Konoka ease up which caused the crowd cheer loudly and 3-A to get fired up to help
"What do we have here?" Tsukuyomi smiled at the set of people "some friends of yours?"
"No Tsukuyomi" Setsuna "They're-!"
"I'm well aware of them sempai" Tsukuyomi pulled out aribbon of talismans from her sleeve "my pets will take care of them"
The talismans changed into creatures surprising the crowd, and then they ran through the girls flipping up their robes making them embarrassed and occupied leaving Tsukuyomi and Setsuna to clash without interruption
"Now let's have some fun Setsuna-sempai" Tsukuyomi drew her blade "I want to have our blades sing now"
Setsuna needed to act fast, she used a bit of her chi to transform Negi into full size causing a quick puff of smoke which the young redheaded teacher appear in ninja clothes
"Negi-sensei get ojou-sama to a safe place from here!" she commanded
"Right" Negi nodded as she grabbed Konoka's hand "let's get you to a safe place Konoka-san"
Haru was watching the scene from a distance smiling at his student's determination to protect Konoka 'oh Se-chan' he chuckled but his thoughts were cut when Chisame and Zazie are with him
"...?" Zazie questioned
"Oh I'm waiting for my time to come up" he answered
"I think your time is already here" Chisame pointed to the little demons coming at her "CAUSE HERE THEY ARE!"
Haru quickly pushed the girls away grabbing one of the demons and slammed to the ground before using it as a support to deliver a barrage of kicks to the others making the crowd clap in awe at his moves
"Phew" Haru stood up from his attack before checking on his students "are you two okay there?"
"We're fine sensei" Chisame groaned with Zazie nodding while helping her classmate up
"Okay" Haru nodded as he looked back to the bridge seeing the clash of swordplay 'time to enforce Se-chan's duty'
He placed the driver on ring on his right middle finger and placed it on his buckle
Driver on...please
The belt became bulky and Haru looked at the crowd watching him "stand back people" he gestured to his ring on his left hand "because this part will blow you away"
He flipped the levers making his hand buckle shift to the left
Shabadoobie touch henshin!
The audience gulped as he then raised his left hand "henshin" before placing it on his belt
Hurricane...please
The crowd was lucky to heed Haru's warning as he was now changing his appearance with the wind gathering around him
Fu...Fu! Fu-Fu-Fu-Fu!
He was now in his armor and the people who saw it was awed at his look thinking that such an outfit is completely handmade
The little demons looked at Haru instantly leaving the girls alone and dove in right at him
"Haru-sensei!" they cried in worry for their teacher
Haru looked at the group coming after him without any fear 'I guess this is good to use my other weapon' he replaced a new ring on his right finger before moving the levers shifting the hand buckle to the right
Lupachi magic touch go!
He jumped over the demons before placing his right hand on his belt
Connect...please
Haru pulled out a black flute with a bladed tip "time to end your ruckus" he placed his instrument close to his helmet and surprised his students and the crowd when music started playing
'How does Haru-sensei do that?' they thought seeing it with their eyes
The creatures froze in place and in one move Haru waved his instrument causing them to change back into talismans
"Did you see that?" one person in the crowd pointed out "he just made them disappear easily"
He walked to the fallen class rep with the other students gathering around him "Ayaka-chan is really out cold" he then looked at the girls around "arigatou for helping Se-chan fight but the main event is about to start" he gave the girl to Chizuru "and I'd be in relief to know that you girls are safe from harm"
"Haru-sensei really cares for us" Natsumi spoke in awe "Negi-sensei is very lucky to be by his side"
"She really is" most of the students agreed
Setsuna and Tsukuyomi are in a stalemate with former scowling that they are evenly matched
'I can't budge from my battle to protect ojou-sama' she parried another strike 'if only I was stronger'
But then the battle was stopped when Tsukuyomi was clashing with Haru instead of Setsuna
"Haru-sensei..." Setsuna spoke in surprise when he jumped into her battle
"Se-chan, now's your chance to go" he grunted "Konoka-chan needs you now"
"But sensei" Setsuna tried reason her teacher
"Didn't you promise to get stronger so that you could protect her?" he interjected "how can you do that if you're here fighting rather than being beside her!"
Setsuna didn't need to speak on how true those words are, she placed her blade back into the sheathe and dashed away to find Negi and Konoka
"Aw, no fair" Tsukuyomi pouted "I was just about to feel good too" she then looked to Haru "well, since you're here in your new look, why don't you reintroduce yourself to me"
"Ore ga..." he started while making a stance with his one hand weapon "kibo no mahotsukai, wizado!"
"Let's play wizard-han" she grinned while crossing her blades and jumped forward ready to attack
The audience watched the battle raged on and can't help but cheer on for Haru as he moved swiftly against Tsukuyomi's nitoryu swordsmanship
He blocked another blow of her two blades but quickly moved in using his free hand to grab her wrist holding the tanto and made a slash ripping her dress a bit causing her to jump back
"Now I see why he is interested in you" Tsukuyomi smiled before looking at the roof "but it seems Chigusa-san hasn't stopped herself from rubbing it in"
'Oh no!' he placed a new ring on his right hand before moving the levers to reset the hand for his spell 'I have to move fast'

A duplicate of Haru appeared next to him with the two nodding to each other, Haru changed rings again and reset his action
Speed...please
He left in a blur leaving a dust cloud and his other self with Tsukuyomi
"Now since we are reaching the climax of our fight" Haru called dropping his weapon (which dissappeared) "I'll finish you off in one move"
On the rooftop Chigusa, Fate and some demons having Negi and Konoka cornered with the lady smirking at their situation
"It seems that you have nowhere else to run" she boasted "now just hand over ojou-sama and I'll let you live" her demon minion raised his bow and aimed at the two "refuse and you will be shot"
Konoka looked frightened while Negi held her hand in assurance that there is nothing to worry about, unfortunately a gust of wind forced them to move making the demon fire his arrow
"You idiot!" Chigusa screamed "why did you fire?!"
"Because they moved" the demon replied bluntly "isn't that what you said in your warning?"
Negi moved fast and used her arm to take the hit but it went through her limb causing her to panic 'Konoka-san!'
Konoka stood still looking at the projectile coming at her, then suddenly Setsuna stepped between her and the arrow bracing for the hit but it never came
After regaining their senses, Setsuna saw the arrow being held by Haru
"Haru-kun!" Negi and Konoka smiled seeing him in the area
"Phew, that was close" Haru snapped the object before looking at Chigusa "still being the stupid lady like our meeting aren't you?"
Chigusa growled but she was stopped by Fate as he stepped in between her and Haru
"What are you doing Fate?" she asked only to get a stare making her quiet
"After seeing you fail in your last plan" he spoke "I decided to step in this time to see his power for myself" he conjured a stone blade in his left "please show me your strength wizard-san"
Haru and Fate clashed weapons sending a shockwave making the roof tiles move under their feet
"Negi-chan, Sechan" he called "keep hime-chan safe until I finish this fight"
Tsukuyomi held her swords in a guarding position feeling a bit edgy on hearing her defeat being declared
Lupachi magic touch go!
Haru smirked as he looked at his opponent's position "make sure that your guard is strong Tsukuyomi" he placed a ring on his right finger and placed it over his belt
Choine, kick strike! SAIKO~!
Wind gathered around his feet, before making a quick run then he did a cartwheel, jumped to the air making a kick towards his target making an explosion forcing the watchers to cover their eyes
The smoke cleared revealing Tsukuyomi on the ground panting with feet markings in front of her suggesting that the impact left her to press against the wood during the attack
Everyone cheered but stopped when Haru raised his arms
"Don't celebrate yet everyone" he called before pointing to the other battle "there is still the fate of hime-chan up there" he finished before dissapearing signifying that he was the copy of the two
Haru panted as he dodged another slash "sorry if I was disappointing you Fate" he said gaining a raised eyebrow "I know that you feel offended when we fought for only a short time"
"I am a bit dissapointed" Fate replied "but considering that you are still new to that power, it is to be expected" he made another strike making Haru lose his weapon/instrument "and I apologize for doing this"
Fate dropped his sword and raised his arm calling a giant pillar of stone and moved it toward his target
Haru moved quickly moved the levers on his belt shifting his hand buckle to the right before moving his right hand over the buckle
Defend...please
A wind barrier appeared blocking the pillar which started to crumble as it continued to move to the target before it was all dust
"Impressive ringed wizard" Fate praised "in your last bit of strength, you protected them from danger"
"It was all I could do" Haru smiled as he fell on his knees feeling the energy drop down
"Haru-kun/sensei!" the girls cried in worry
"It was good effort" Fate lifted Haru up "but I have to get the girl for my client so I apologize" he then threw him off the tower
"HARU-SENSEI!" 3-A shouted at seeing him fall
Haru didn't have the energy to move to get himself out of the mess he was in. He then remembered the words from the white wizard that used the same power
'Have hope young one' his words echoed in Haru's mind 'for it is your strength to continue fighting'
'That's right' he struggled to reach his rings 'I have to keep going, I can't lose Konoka-chan and have Negi-chan fail!' he took out a ring similar to the hurricane element
Fate looked at the girls while Setsuna pulled out her sword ready to fight
"It's pointless to fight me" he held out his left hand "just give me the princess and I won't harm you"
Before a retort could be made a familiar sound echoed
Hurricane...dragon Byu...Byu! Byu! Byu! Byu! Byu!
A green light was seen before by everyone before the voice echoed again
Choine, special! SAIKO~!
A figure swooped back to the roof with the girls happy to see who it is
"Haru-sensei/kun!" they cheered at seeing him again
Haru's new look showed him with less padding but he now wore a green trenchcoat with shoulder pads, a dragon imprint on his chest with his helmet gaining a pair of horns but the thing that stood out the most was the pair of wings on his back
"So you do have the power to go further" Fate spoke
"Only for emergencies" Haru pointed out "I can only handle one form at a time right now"
'You do have potential after all...' he then walked back to Chigusa's side "Let's go, we can't do anything now"
"What are you talking about?" the lady snorted "we still have power to fight him!"
Oh how wrong she was...
Haru moved the levers, placed a ring on his right hand and moved it on his belt
Choine, thunder! SAIKO~!
Haru placed his hand forward unleashing a barrage of thunder striking the demon minions out of the area
"You were saying something about facing me?"
Chigusa growled at the humiliation she got last time and now she went through it again
"You will pay for this" she then left the scene with Fate and Tsukuyomi following behind
Now with the battle finally over, the audience cheered that they get to see the action firsthand
Haru landed on the ground, changing back to his normal before falling on his hands and knees
"Haru-sensei!" he saw 3-A running toward him with worry etched on their faces "daijobu ka?"
"I'll be fine" he panted "I just need some rest, the act really got me"
While that happened Negi dissapeared after being assured that everything was okay, Konoka and Setsuna were left alone by now
"Se-chan" Konoka called "what is happening?"
"There is no time ojou-sama" Setsuna grabbed her hand and moved "we need to get you back home soon"
The two of them went for the dressing room to change back to their regular clothes to report in about this incident soon
Back with Haru, he was placed on resting spot being given a drink by Kazumi while Haruna and Yue are beside him while the rest of the girls decided to spend time on their own for the rest of the day
"So Haru-sensei" the reporter smirked "mind telling us why Negi-sensei isn't with you?"
"Not telling" he said bluntly causing the girls to pout "as it is not my place to say"
"Can we follow you instead?" Yue added
"Even if I told you not to follow me, you'd do it anyway" he sighed 'gomen Negi-chan, Asuna-chan, Se-chan there will be stowaways with me'
After getting his rest from the fight earlier, Haru walked off with the girls behind knowing full well of Asuna's reaction upon having stowaways

Hi again everyone... sorry for the delay on my update. I have been forced to attend summer school, stupid requirement...
Anyway I hope that you enjoy my chapters today
Now for some questions:
First, yes Haru can access his dragon forms of his elements but like he said only one dragon form of the same element he was using until he trains again
Second, his fighting style is mixed. But since he uses rings for his magic relies more on grapples and kicks for hand to hand combat
Lastly, Haru having the Hamel cane is because the white wizard is the creator of ring magic meaning his items are now passed on to the successor
Oh and also I'm already working on the final part of the Kyoto saga so don't worry okay
