Okay so here it is! Again I'm so sorry that I've been away for so long. I wonder who's here from the beginning? Anyways R&R let me know what you think. Have any suggestions on where the story should go? Feel free to comment.
Re-cap:
Fang POV
Sighing loudly I walk back to my car. To myself I think… Yup I still love her.
Max POV
"Oh." Holy F. Did that just happened?! Oh my god. Why do I feel tingly?
As soon as we pulled apart I'm sure I had the most ridiculous look on my face. Fang had automatically looked down. Is he blushing? No he can't be…HE IS! Who are we kidding I'm probably red as a tomato. Who am I to judge? I quickly composed myself.
"Fang." I said because I wanted him to look at me. I wonder what he's thinking. When Fang finally did look up I was slightly smiling at him he probably regretted it anyway. "Hey it was an accident. Right?" I had to make sure that it was. I swear something changed in Fang's expression but we all know that he's the master of composure so he quickly changed it.
"Err yeah." he finally responded.
He looked uncomfortable to my disappointment. We said goodnight and when I got inside I couldn't help but touch my lips. My lips and his lips touched. And it wasn't disgusting. On the contrary it was really nice…woah
I think I like Fang...this is bad.
That kiss was an accident. But I can't stop thinking about it. What should I do I'm still with Dylan. I haven't talked with him in a while though. What should I do?
My mind was reeling. I'm was surprised I sounded so collected when I was saying bye to Fang looking back to like 5 minutes ago.
"Hey Max what are you doing on the floor?"
I look up, it's Nudge. I hadn't realized that I had sunk down to the floor, my back against the door. I hastily got back to my feet to respond. "Oh hey there Nudge. I was just thinking about ya know…life. Hehe" I laughed weakly.
"Deep." She laughs. "Sooo I was about to put in a movie wanna join?"
"Depends on what you're watching."
"I don't know i was thinking The Notebook."
"No thanks." I say a little too quickly. I'm not sure I can handle anything sappy right now. I'll start thinking about the kiss again.
Nudge shrugs and plops down on the couch. I head over to Gazzy's room, I need something else to think about. I knock on his door.
"Coming!" I hear from the other side of the door. The door opens and I see Gazzy dressed in a wrinkled t-shirt and some sweats.
"What's up Max?"
"Oh nothing just checking up on you." I enter his room, it's a mess but what can I expect from a 14 year-old boy, and sit on his bed. "So whats new?"
Gazzy just sits on his bean bag chair. I throw a bouncy ball, that I found on his bed, at him. He catches it. "Oh nothing much, you know my friend Craig?" I nod. "Yeah we hung out today at his house, but then his girlfriend came over. I felt like a third wheel so I left early, when I him told him i was leaving he said that he wanted to set me up with his girlfriend's best friend, he said she was pretty so I just said I'll think about it. What do you think I should do?" He throws that ball at me. Me and Gazzy are really close so I'm not surprised that he's asking me for advice.
"I say go for it, what's the worst that can happen?"
"Well she could be a bitch...and if I reject her Craig's girlfriend going to be mad at me..."
"True." We both smile at each other. "Well you'll never know what will happen if you don't do something." Shit that applies to me too doesn't it...
"I guess you're right." Gazzy sighs. "Alright I'll go out with her."
"Good, you never know she might be your soul mate."
"Pshh. Whatever Max." He smiles at me while I get up and leave his room. Great now I'm alone. Not wanting to be alone I go into Angel's room.
"Hey sweetie how's it going?"
"Hey Max!" Angel replies looking back from a book she was reading.
"I was just reading. Max what's wrong you look like you have something on your mind."
I freeze. Darn it I swear she's a mind reader.
"Gah okay soo..." I plop down on the bed beside her. "I think I have feelings for my friend." See when I didn't have anyone else after and during the orphanage period I became closer to my siblings more than ever before. I feel as if I can talk to them about anything.
"Alright start from the beginning" Angel gets right to business. I tell her all about Fang. How I had to gain his trust back, how he helped me, I told her about the kiss. I also told her about Dylan, how he's such a great guy. I vented about everything that I've been worrying about to my little sister.
"Oh Max I'm sorry you have to go through this." She consoles me. "I'm happy you got your friend back. I remember Fang you guys were best friends. And Dylan does sound like a nice guy. It looks like you have to choose between them." That's what I was afraid of…
