Act V: New Earthbound Myth
Chapter 3: The Fall of Ccarayhua
The group except Number 39: Utopia fights the Earthbound Immortal. While Gigo and One-eyed Skill Gainer attack it around the head; Excalibur, Gagaga Cowboy, Gauntlet Launcher, and Zubaba General attack the dark, giant lizard's legs.
"Man, the creature's legs have more layers of darkness than onions!" Zubaba General complained.
"We're like insects to this thing!" Excalibur said as he slash another part of the Earthbound's legs causing a little damage, "I bet even Gigo's and Skill Gainer's attacks are not nothing but a big joke up there!"
Then out of no where, Gigo and Skill Gainer crash to the ground at a hard rate. Both of them got up and went next to their teammates.
"What happen to the two of you?" Gauntlet Launcher asked.
"The thing got tired of us and decide to throw us down." Gigo replied, "We can't even get the creature's eyes because the eye movement was to quick!"
"We can't beat this, then what will?" Skill Gainer said as the group of six stare at possible defeat.
Excalibur look at his blade and thought of Jake(Utopia)'s sacrifice a couple days before. It's time for my end of the deal. Excalibur thought as he handle his sword with both of his hands. "Oh Sword of Excalibur," Excalibur chanted, "unleash your heroic soul and strength to not just help me but my friends as well. Behold, Heroic Heart!"
Excalibur's sword glowed with a blue aura. The aura soon covers Excalibur as well turning his armor dark red to blue. The sword's color of silver turn to a color of bright yellow.
"Excalibur, what is this?" Gigo asked in awe as the group watches the whole procedure.
"My hidden strength." Excalibur explained, "Now lets finish this fight!"
"I agree!" said a voice the group knows. Utopia appears in front of his friends. He turns and sees Excalibur's power. "Nice armor."
"Thanks, nice wound." Excalibur replied as he mentions the wound Utopia got from Dark Mist.
"I'll be fine." Utopia said as he morphs to his Number C39:Utopia Ray form. He grabs both of his evolved swords with two mechanical arms grab the bigger sword at his back.
"So take two, pals?" Gagaga Cowboy asked.
"Take two." Utopia Ray said as the group launches themselves for the attack. Utopia Ray and Excalibur combine their sword strikes at Ccarayhua's right leg. Most of the darkness is destroyed by the strike but Ccarayhua is still barely standing.
"Not for long!" Gauntlet Launcher said as he and Gagaga Cowboy fire their respective projectiles at the remaining darkness that connects the Earthbound Immortal's right leg and the main body. The creature roared as its leg is blasted and falls to the the ground. The dark lizard used its hands to stop its fall. As it did, Gigo and Skill Gainer jump to the creature's face. Gigo manage to punch the Earthbound's right eye while Skill Gainer slashes the left eye with two of his samurai swords. Blood of darkness comes from Ccarayhua's eyes from the inflicted wounds. The creature roared as it covers its eyes and completes it's fall. Zubaba General, laughing, charges toward the fallen Earthbound Immortal. As he did, the Z emblem on his sword flare up with lightning which covers his whole sword.
"Take this you gigantic bastard!" yelled Zubaba General as he slashes his sword toward his enemy. A energy slash comes from the sword and hits Ccarayhua. The attack manages to cause major damage and explosions to the Earthbound Immortal. The group regrouped near Kisara, Winged Kuriboh, and Flip's hiding place.
"We did it!" Zubaba General said as he and Gigo fist bumped. Utopia Ray is glad that his group are now victorious and happy. But it is short-lived.
A roar ruins the celebration as the team turns to see the Earthbound Immortal regenerating what it had lost. The right leg reconnects with the main body while the eyes recover.
"Its regenerating!" Gauntlet Launcher said in shock, "Thats not fair!"
Excalibur, armor still blue, looks at the process in shock. "How do we stop an enemy that regenerates? It might take a army to take this thing down." Excalibur said.
"Not an army." Gagaga Cowboy added, "But a whole nation of warriors, fellows. You know about the Earthbound's reputation!"
"Don't remind me." Excalibur said.
Utopia Ray watches and thinks for another strategy. Everything is not perfect, Utopia Ray thought, This thing is not perfect too. It must have a weakness. Then Utopia Ray thought of the process that the Earthbound Immortal took to gain form. Heart of Stone to…...Wait!, The Chaos Number Warrior finally thought, Its heart! Thats its weakness! Luckily, I got the perfect weapon to penetrate to it. All I need to do is turn my dream into reality.
Utopia Ray concentrates and gather his energy into his right hand. His right hand is covered in a yellow aura which he points to the sky. The energy is shot to the sky as it is formed into a strange X symbol. From the X symbol, a card flew from the X to Utopia Ray. He grabbed the card and smile on his handiwork.
Excalibur and Gigo, who are bewildered like the others who say the feat, looked at each other and walk to see what Utopia Ray is holding. Thier eyes went wide open when they see the card.
"Thats a….." Gigo said.
"Yes." Utopia Ray answered as he knew his friend's question.
"But cards haven't been seen in this world since the Supreme King's reign." Excalibur said.
"This card may be our only shot against this thing." Utopia Ray said as he held up the card. As he does the card glow in bright yellow light. "Now I summon Zexal Weapon- Unicorn Spear!" Utopia Ray said as the card disappears. Then a armored unicorn appeared out of thin air. The unicorn is white and gold with a spear like horn.
Utopia Ray remembered when the Zexal Weapon appeared to him. Thanks to it, he manages to defeat and conquer the fear of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon in the other world. Now he will use the weapon's power here to defeat the Earthbound Immortal.
"Now equip yourself to me!" Utopia Ray commanded. Unicorn Spear turn into energy and covers Utopia Ray's giant sword. The sword turns into a sword/spear hybrid with a circle-like space in the middle. Utopia Ray turns to his team, "We must work together in order to make this work." Utopia Ray says, "Are you with me?"
"Yes, sir" Gigo replied.
"With Honor, young warrior."Skill Gainer added.
"I'm in it to the end." Excalibur said.
"There will be fire in the shootout tonight." Gagaga Cowboy said as he cocks each of his guns.
"Oh hell yeah!" Zubaba General triumphant yelled.
"Um...yes. Please take note note that I help you guys take this thing out." Gauntlet Launcher said as loads his Gauntleted hands.
Utopia Ray smiles and turns to his opponent, 'Now like my owner and summoner would say, Let's feel the flow!"
Gigo and Skill Gainer charged first. Skill Gainer jumped toward the Earthbound Immortal and slash a X mark on its chest. Gigo jumps at the X and starts punching on it at a fast and hard rate in order to make the wound more weaker and create more pain for the Earthbound. Ccarayhua tries to stop the punching attack but the Earthbound Immortal's arm gets attack by Skill Gainer. It tries to get the one-eyed samurai but with no avail due to the Skill Gainer's speed.
While all that is happening, Excalibur and Zubaba General charged their swords. Utopia Ray prepares to launch his sword spear towards the Earthbound Immortal with Gagaga Cowboy and Gauntlet Launcher behind him preparing to shoot their projectiles. Utopia Ray launches his weapon and Gauntlet Launcher and Gagaga Cowboy shoot their projectiles at the weapon to create more speed and energy for the sword spear. Excalibur and Zubaba General swipe their swords together to create an energy swipe that looks like an X. The sword spear and the energy X combine into a ball of energy before taking form of an energy arrow. Gigo and Skill Gainer sees the arrow and got out of the way. The arrow hit the X mark at Ccarayhua's chest and penetrates it. A blast comes from the back of the Earthbound Immortal and reveals the Earthbound Immortal's heart impaled by Utopia Ray"s sword spear.
The Earthbound Immortal coughed up blood of darkness before reduce to a puddle of liquid. The liquid then disappears with the outlinings of a lizard in its place.
The team look at each other with pride and happiness. Then they cheered at their true victory. A victory achieved by their teamwork.
Nearby, the cloaked figure, who watched the whole battle from Dark Flattop, was disappointed and surprised. He expected the Earthbound Immortal to tear them up. But it prove to be much of a failure. No matter, The cloak figure thought as Dark Flattop begins to fly away, There are more still to come. He looks at Utopia Ray and thinks, And you shall face me personally, you meddling little warrior. Dark Flattop retreated up to the skies to be seen another day.
At the sunset, the group look at the orange sunset. Utopia Ray(Jake) and Excalibur returned to their original forms. Jake holds the Blue-Eyes Chick in his arms while Winged Kuriboh floats next to him. His wound has been treated and covered up.
"So what now?" Excalibur asked with Flip the Baby Tiragon on his shoulder.
"Have that map of Kazuma's brighten up yet?" Gagaga Cowboy said, "If it hadn't from all we been through then it is reduced for fuel for our fire."
Jake gives Kisara to Gigo and pulled out the piece of paper. Jake couldn't believe his eyes. The paper turn to map with the outlinings of a lizard as a starting point and it ends with some machine with a portal swirling around.
"It finally shown us the way?" Zubaba General said as he saw the map, "Oh hell yeah, finally!"
"Our journey to solve the world's crisis will continue by map but don't forget one thing." Skill Gainer said.
"What is that?" Jake asked.
"Our lives are our own journey."Skill Gainer replied.
"And thats the reason our lives are exciting not boring." Excalibur said as the group start moving.
The group then decide to forward and follow the map. They are now one step closer to solve a mystery and save multiple worlds from a disaster. And also save Mana, wherever you are. Jake thought as he travel with his united team.
