AN: I am going to try to update this every other week to the best that I can. I will be going between this story and my other one publishing them. So next week I am going to be updating Ain't that a kick in the Head.

Chapter 11

"It's a pregnancy test Charlie." Silena answered

"Why would he give you something like... What Sils are you? I mean are we going to? Oh my gods I can't believe that this is happening. I'm gonna be a father. Wow!" Beckendorf started pumping the air in celebration.

"No Charlie no." she said putting a hand on his chest

"Wait what?"

"It's negative. I'm not pregnant, for a second I thought that I was. I mean all the signs where there but I'm not. It's such a relief that it didn't happen. Charlie we have to be more careful next time or I really will get pregnant."

"Sils wouldn't it be amazing to become parent? I mean don't you want to be?" Beckendorf asked him

"Yes of course I want to have children with you, but I just think that it's a bit early for us to start. We haven't even started our jobs yet. We just finished packing a couple of hours ago and have only been engaged for about two days. It's just moving to fast for me, I want to spend a couple of years with it being just me and you before we bring in another human being into the picture. All I want to do is focus on this new part of our lives."

They both knew that this was something that they both needed first, as they knew nothing about life with a child. Sure they spent a year adjusting to life after camp. A year which was suppose to be spent traveling around the country after which they both assumed that they would either survive it and go to school becoming what ever they wanted to be or they would be killed on their travels and have the choice of either rebirth, which neither could see doing or they could go to Elysium.

However none of that happened since they found out it would not only be hard but it would also take a lot of money to do which none of them really had at that time. So they did the one thing that they knew to do and that was work. Silena's dad was more then happy to have her work for him since a lot of the male clientele would buy a lot of chocolates. Almost coming in every day, just because of the way she looked, which he knew was because of who her mother was.

While Beckendorf worked construction for his half brother. He quickly moved up the ranks and was eventually asked to attend college so that they could expand a little more. Even though Beckendorf was happy about the arrangement there where still things that he wanted to do. He had always heard from people he either went to school with or worked with, that always talked about trips that they were taking with their families or trips that they came back from and just how much fun they had. Beckendorf knew that doing something like that with Sils would be hard, but apart of him really wanted to have that type of experience and he wanted it with her.

So when she told him it was a pregnancy test he was over joyed because he could finally have something that everyone else does. But now it wasn't going to happen and he was feeling depressed, even more since she said she wanted to wait before they started their family.

The next couple of days were weird as it was starting to seem to Silena that Beckendorf was avoiding her. He however could not avoid her today, because it was her graduation. It wasn't the grand type of graduation that Beckendorf got, not by a long shot. Students dressed in plain black robes, the ceremony was done on campus and there was then then two hundred students in the graduating class.

Beckendorf was sitting up in the stands with Silena's father when someone came up to them.

"You're just as handsome as the day I met you." She had said to Mr. Beauregard

"Aphrodite, you still look just as beautiful as the day that I met you. But I thought the gods weren't allowed to interact with their offspring."

"We aren't suppose to, but Lord Zeus made an exception for me. Plus there are things that she and I need to discuss." She turned to look at Beckendorf "I don't think my dear daughter would like the fact that her fiancée is gawking at her mother with his mouth wide open."

Beckendorf closed his mouth and Aphrodite sat in between the two men.

The ceremony was done pretty quickly, Silena spotted the two men and made her way over to them. Beckendorf was the first to see her as she jumped into his arms.

"Congratulations Sils." He said giving her a quick little kiss

"Congratulations Sweetheart," Aphrodite said getting Silena's attention "There is something that I need to talk to you about and now is a better time then ever. First off I would like to say how proud I am of you for graduating. Secondly you should know that those stupid tests that this silly little mortals have are in accurate sometime. Thirdly I expect to be invited to the wedding when it happens and lastly the two of you are going to make perfect parents." She said as she hugged her daughter trying to hide her glee.

"Oh and before I go you should know that us gods "especially me" never get this type of thing wrong." At that she turned a corner and was gone

Silena took off to the closet bathroom, while both of the men followed the best they could, eventually waiting outside the restroom.

"Charlie," Silena said scared after she came out from the bathroom "how are we going to do this?"

"Do what?" Her father asked

"Oh daddy, we didn't know for a fact, but when mom said I was, then I knew it was true. Daddy I'm pregnant." She told her father.

He was shocked. He didn't think that something like this would happen for a long time, at least not until after they got married, well after they got married. But now here he was just told by his little girl that he was going to be a grandfather. He didn't know how to take it, let alone what to say.

"Daddy please say something please. You're kind of scaring me right now." Silena layer back into Beckendorf's chest a little more

"Sir I want you to know that I love your daughter very much and I am going to take care of her no matter what happens. I want this baby just as much as she does and I can guarantee you that I will do everything in my power to not only keep them safe, but to also give them everything that they could ever want."

"I know that it's a bit soon for us to be starting a family. That we should have waited until after we were married, but it doesn't change anything. I am going to marry your daughter because I love her. It'll just be that there will be a lot more for her to love know then before." Beckendorf said

Mr. Beauregard walked up to the two of them and took Silena in his arms "I've been waiting for this day for along time. I never thought that it would come this soon, but I am happy for the two of you and I hope you both the best. I love you Silena, I know you'll be a great mother." He whispered to her before he looked at them both.

"What do you say we got out and celebrate not only the wonderful news about my grand baby, but also Silena's graduation?"

Silena and Beckendorf nodded before heading out.
