Three days later:

I sprinted across a dirt road, two demons hot at my heels. Two days ago I had fallen out of the cupboard and the stupid thing stopped working. Fortunately, I had ended up relatively close to the bunker, actually I should say, at least I'm in the US, not necessarily close to the bunker per say.

I'd wandered around the woods where the cupboard had left me for while, until I accidentally ran into a couple demons, and, in case you didn't know, I'm not especially popular with that crowd at the moment.

I stumbled on a tree root and fell down a steep hill at the side of the road. I scrambled to my feet, adrenalin forcing me forward, into a metal door.

I fell back down, clutching my head; I had run right into the back door of a bar.

I pulled the door open, ignoring the small trail of blood dripping from my nose, and ran in. The demons were not ten feet behind me.

The bar was bustling and full, a band was playing a song about a reaper on a stage to my left, but they stopped when I burst in, along with everyone else. Everyone stared at me in surprise as I pushed through the tables toward the opposite door, but I only got about five feet before a funny looking guy in a cowboy hat stopped me.

"uh, hey," he said, "are you okay?"

I thought he might be a demon so I jerked back and shook my head.

The guy looked kind of familiar, like someone you see across a crowded room, but never actually talk to.

Then I remembered I was running for my life and spun around, if they were going to get me I was going to go out fighting.

The men walked toward me through the door, but just inside they jerked to a stop, as if some invisible bubble had trapped them.

Their eyes flicked black and they both looked up. I looked to see what had stopped them and saw a red pentagram with squiggles inside drawn on the ceiling. I instantly knew what it was and how to make one.

"sorry," the guy behind me said, "but demons aren't allowed."

I remembered something Sam had said about some bars being hunter friendly, and apparently I had stumbled into one.

I sighed in relief, my first bit of good luck.

A couple of guys got up and walked toward the demons.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to look at the funny guy behind me.

"Mind if I ask how you got two demons on your tail?" he asked.

"Well," I said, "that's a long story, and-" I stopped, remembering that there was something even more important I needed to do.

"I-I, um, I need a phone," I stammered, hurriedly trying to think of the best way to contact Sam and Dean.

"Uh, why?" the guy asked.

"I need to call my friends and make sure they're okay," I said impatiently, holding out my hand.

"What's the magic word?" he asked cheekily.

I felt frustration bubble up inside me, "Sam and Dean could be dead for all I know!" I burst out, covering my face with my hands. All the anger from the past month (I don't really know how long) erupted in one explosion of fury and sadness. I let out a half-scream, half-sob of hate; I hated this world and everything in it.

I suddenly heard a crash and looked up, everyone, accept the demons, were pinned to the wall and anything not tied down floated in the air. The crash had come from a beer bottle that had fallen and smashed on the floor.

In my surprise I let go, of what I've no idea, but as soon as I did everything fell back down and the people on the walls were released.

I cried out again as beer bottles hit the floor and shattered, soon my bare feet were scratched and bloody.

For a few minutes nothing happened, I just stood there, staring at my hands in shock and fear.

What had I done? And how had I done it?

"I'm sorry!" I cried and ran for the door.

I must have blacked out or something, because the next thing I knew I was standing in the middle of a dark convenience store, the only light came from the street lights outside, which also illuminated a sign that stated I was in Rexford, Idaho.

"who are you?" a deep voice asked.

I spun around and saw another guy looking at me with a cute confused look on his face.

For a few seconds I just stared at him, my mind blank.

"I…" darkness blurred my vision and felt my knees buckle underneath me and was unconscious before I hit the ground.

I should probably explain Lucy's weird mood swings, but just to be annoying I'm going to keep it a secret for a while.

Anyway, just a few more things and then I'll let you go and continue with the next chapter.

Firstly, a huge THANK YOU! to everyone who Favorited and Followed, you guys are the best!

And secondly, a very a happy New Year! (2014, can you believe it?!)

And last, but not least, I just want to know if anyone can guess who the two mystery guys are?

If you guess right, well, I don't have any prizes, but I'll follow you if you want. :)
