Chapter 11: The Ultimate Team Attack
The streets were trembling with screaming villagers and the building was crumbling down to the ground. It was not a good sign as the Takigakure Shinobi guards came rushing toward the destruction of the building. But as they came, a few of their men were injured or killed by what caused this. As they came, the commander arrived and approached one of the guards that were able to survive.
"Soldier! What's the status of the situation here?!" The commander shouted with authority.
"S-Sir! It just came out of nowhere! I-It attacked us! This thing can't be stopped! I-I-It's inhuman!" The guard stuttered in fear.
The commander pulled him by the collar and demanded, "What the hell do you mean by that?! Give me an answer!"
But before he could get anything, the commander soon heard a scream from nearby as a gust of wind blasted near them. The impact was crucial as the commander took a look at the smoke in front of him. During that moment, the Shinobi guards assumed position and lift their spears forward to the dust. It was quiet. Nothing seems to be making any noises except the calm breeze blowing in the air.
Suddenly, they heard something rumbling as the crater below the ground moving around. The guards were ready, but a few became nervous as they heard a low growling. As the guards prepare for the worst, they were about to meet Death in the eyes as a pair of red eyes were shown through the dust. The shadow figure looked very big and seems to have something formed from the shoulders.
Out from the dust, it came to show itself and it looks like an unholy demon from Hell. It's body was huge with strenuous muscles and its skin was grayish-purple and emitting black chakra all around its body. The creature had white sharp teeth with fangs and had his eyes covered with a white band with a kanji symbol saying Death. It was shirtless and only wearing black pants which was ripped from the bottom and barefoot.
The guards were trembling at the sight as it made them fearing a Shinigami. But was worse is that upon looking at it, they spotted his hand and see one of the guards lifeless as his face was covered by his massive palm. Unable to tell who it was, the body wasn't even twitching once to try and escape. The guard was dead and they knew they were next.
The commander, however, didn't waste no time to get them to man up. "Men! I don't care what this thing is! It's attacking our home and we need to stop it! If we die, we'll make sure this thing goes down to Hell with us!"
Upon hearing that, the Takigakure Shinobi guards were boosted up by the command as they made a battle cry to know they will risk it all to protect the village and its people. Soon after, they all charged at the creature as they let their spears do the talking.
Hearing the presence of the guards forward, it didn't mean nothing as the creature was growling with rage at them all. As it didn't feel anything, the monster rams right through them and flung them around near walls and windows. Each was standing tall and started to swing at the monster with their spears.
Upon attacking it, the creature stopped and noticed a piece of metal piercing him a little. The guards were shocked to see nothing happening as it stood there with no pain. "W-W-What the-?! I-It didn't even hurt him?!" One of the guards said as he was unable to back away. But what he didn't notice is that his arm was moving back with the same carcass he had with him.
"Watch out!" The second guard said.
It was too late as the guard was flung into the air and hearing the scream made while he was up. The monster held on to the carcass and swings away against the guards with tremendous strength! It took them down hard and a few were hurt as bones shattered from their bodies. It went attacking each one and soon let go of the remaining carcass by throwing it far away. And when two more attacked, they suddenly were greeted by the ground as the monster smashed them below with its fist.
The guard, which was flung in the air, was caught by the creature by its palm. Upon catching him, it crushed his skull and killing him instantly. A few guards surrendered and retreated and the commander stood still and watched the horror witnessed in front of him. The destruction of the guards left him unbalanced and shocked beyond anything he encountered.
"How..H-How can we...T-This is madness! T-T-That thing is...unstoppable! We..." But as the commander was distracted, he heard something nearby.
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" Out came a little boy who was crying hard after being apart from his mother. During the rampage, the crowd was evacuating and hiding the creature's attacks. But while running away, the boy was pulled apart from his mother and left by himself.
Not only it got the commander's attention, it brought the attention of the creature as well. It heard the boy cried and knew that he was a target to its mission. Slowly, the creature went towards the boy and plan on ending his life with one quick move. A low growl was made as it was getting closer to the child.
"KID! MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!" Shouted the commander as it got the boy's attention. He ceased his crying stared into the eyes of death. He was scared and alone as there was no hope for him to survive this. The creature lifted the dead body and leveled it down to the boy as the commander shouted, "NOOOOOOOO!"
When all seems lost...
(SFX: BOOM!)
The creature made a direct hit and thought it was over. But it was wrong as the body was dropped and didn't see the little boy anywhere. The commander was shocked himself as he wondered what happened to him.
But then, he looked over to his side and couldn't believe that a miracle was made as he sees someone holding on to the boy after rescuing him. It was a female ninja and that was none other than Hinata. Back into her previous outfit before, Hinata came in just in time before something else would happen.
"Whew! That was close!" Hinata said as she looks down at the boy. "Are you okay?"
The boy was shocked that she saved her, but he then cried softly after knowing he was missing someone. "M-Momma..."
Hinata shushed the child to calm down and went over to the commander who was still shocked that the former Hyuuga saved him that fast. "Excuse me, sir, but can you take him somewhere safe?"
Upon hearing that, the commander came out of his trance and sees the girl handing him the boy. The man did nothing but nod his head and taking the boy with him for cover. Meanwhile, Hinata was now with the monstrous freak.
'Another one of Orochimaru's experiments! He must be desperate to get Naruto this bad! But still, this has to end or more people would get killed!' Hinata put up her hands and shouted, "BYAKUGAN!" Once activating the Kekkei Genkai, she got into her fighting position to get ready for anything.
[Drowning Pool-Bodies]
The creature roared as it came running towards her with rage. Hinata got ready and went straight at the beast. As they were close, the creature swings with his right fist and Hinata evaded its attack. She leapt over and checked to see if it had any weaknesses. But she landed on her feet, Hinata quickly moves away after the creature turned around to strike her. The blunette was careful to not get hit as she had to know what to attack it at. It became angry as it kept missing the girl with every swing.
As it loses focus, Hinata has the perfect shot to attack directly. "Hakke Rokujuyon Sho (Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms)!" Hinata struck the creature as she kept aiming at its pressure points. But as she tried, the creature soon struck back with force and avoided the attack. She quickly evades the attack and use the technique again. Although she got the creature to go down a bit, it was still getting up and getting frustrated at the blunette.
Lifting its leg, the creature made a tremendous stomp and had the earth shaking from below. The massive stomp led to the ground moving upward like a tidal wave. It shattered windows and made a few buildings crumble from impact. Hinata soon got out of the way, but got caught from the attack and fell down on her backside.
Hinata groaned a little and looked up to see if the creature was still weakening from her Gentle Fist technique. But that failed as the creature was still up and going straight at Hinata. Just then, it leapt up in the air and was about to strike the former Hyuuga down.
Hinata gasped in shocked as she prepared for the massive. Suddenly…
(SFX: CLANG!)
Out of nowhere, the creature was confronted by the Crimson Fang sword as Dante made it to Hinata just in time before she was hurt. Dante deflected its attack and made the creature skids about 10 yards. The creature gritted its teeth as blood seeps out from its mouth. Dante assumed position and pointed his blade in front of it.
"Thanks, Dante!" Hinata smiled as she got up.
Dante looked at Hinata and smiled back. "Anytime, Hinata! I don't want anything to happen to Naruto's friends." Shortly after, Naruto and Fu came as the creature growls to sense more chakra patterns.
"You OK, Hinata?" Naruto asked with concern.
Hinata nodded. "I'm fine, Naruto. This thing is strong! My Gentle Fist attack did little to stun it just once. And I think this one is another one of Orochimaru's experiments!"
Naruto grunted as he looks at the creature. "Figures. He just won't quit, doesn't he?"
"Who's Orochimaru?" Fu asked curiously.
"We'll explain later, Fu! But right now, we have to take that thing down before it levels the entire village!" Naruto said.
"Don't worry! I'll make sure it won't happen!" Dante yelled as he charges straight at the creature. Dante jumped in the air and cuts down the experiment with authority. It didn't do anything as Dante attacks again. His blade started leaving cuts on its arms and trying to put it down. But to no avail, it was proven to be a failure. 'Wow! This guy can take a hit! Maybe I need to turn up the heat!'
"Do you need assistance?" Fu asked.
"Yes, I do! I need a distraction! Think you can do that?" Dante suggested as he sees the creature getting up.
Fu nodded her head and replied, "No problem!" And at that instant, Fu developed her wings again and went up in the air to get a clear shot of the monster. She flew straight at him and delivered a punch to it, causing the thing to stubble a bit. Fu flew closer to the ground and shouted, "Come on, ugly! Come and get me!"
Hearing her comment, the creature sensed her chakra network and started to charge straight at her again. Fu flew away as the monster follows. Naruto and Hinata were curious to why she would leave and making that beast follow her.
"Hey, Dante! Any ideas on why she did that?" Naruto asked.
"Because me and Tech have an idea on luring whatever it was somewhere less populated and somewhere far from the village. Fu is right now leading it to the spot that is secured for this right moment!" Dante pulled his sword away and ran to help Fu.
"She might need help with this one! Come on, Hinata!" Naruto shouted.
"Right!" Hinata replied as they follow Dante.
-The Sacred Tree-
Fu lead the beast within the vicinity of a secluded area where the Hero Water was made in years. It was large enough with a vast body of water surrounding the tree itself. She knew it was the perfect place as she can hear the loud footsteps coming towards her.
'There's the freak now! I hope this works!' Fu thought as the creature came out of the forest and into the lake. Fu had to wait until help arrives as she had him right where he's at. "Well, well! At least you got the balls to catch up to me! Didn't your mother tell you to not mess with girls?"
The creature just growled as it cracked its knuckles and breaking its neck. It was about ready to charge and Fu smirked.
"Come on then, you freak!" Fu gestured as she sees it coming towards her. The creature leaps up into the air and pulled his hand out to reach Fu. But then, Fu made the handseals for something familiar to her likings as she then shouted, "Suiton: Suisou[Waater Release: Water Camoflauge]!"
The creature was close, but it was too late as Fu disappears underneath the water below it. It was looking around and seeing where she might gone to, but it went angry and started stomping on the water to force her to come out. It stomped and punched the lake and it drove the beast to go mad. But with full distraction, something attacked it with a punch to the face.
[Bring Me The Horizon-Chelsea Smile]
Another came as two more struck back hard. Out from the forest were ten Naruto clones coming out to strike the monster. "Alright, guys! It's time we show this freak who he's dealing with! Attack!" Naruto commanded.
"Yes, sir!" The clones said as each were taking turns attacking the creature. The first two clones gave it a punch to the jaw as it soon grabbed a hold of the first clone. It used him as a bat and swung the second clone. It started to strike back as the first clone was still struggling from its grip on him. But then, another three clones were able to stop him as one of them gave it a roundhouse kick to the face. The other two went up to give it a double uppercut and making it stunned for a bit. The clone then escaped and joined the three.
"Thanks, guys!" The clone said to the others as they nodded.
Unaware by the gratitude, the creature was able to backhand them with one swift move. They dispelled as the other clones were thinking of something. But they had nothing as the creature took the initiative and struck them down. Each clone took damage as one was left. It was then grabbed by the thing and could feel another presence near.
Out from the water, Fu clapped her hands together and aimed directly at her target. Without anything to say, Fu fires out Suiton: Suikyouren[Water Release: Water Drill] and faced her palms towards the beast. From the water, huge water-like drill appeared and shot straight at the creature and striking it down. It made a direct hit and Fu shouted, "BULLS-EYE!"
But as the water drill struck the creature, it was still standing tall. It left a huge mark on its stomach, but it started to heal up slowly. Fu was shocked and thought the attack could work and Naruto didn't know what to believe.
Suddenly, the beast looked at the clones and quickly took out and threw it at Fu. The green-haired kunoichi was unable to move fast enough as the clone was thrown right at her. The clone dispelled as Fu was close to the ancient tree.
Coming from out of nowhere, Fu was caught and avoided a few damages that was about to be inflicted. Tech came just in time as he has her in his arms. Fu looks up and sees her boyfriend and he caught her in his arms.
"Thanks for the save." Fu said with a smile.
"Isn't this what I always do when it involves you?" Tech grinned.
The creature was done playing around as it went close to the others. Naruto sees this and shouted, "Care to help, Tech?"
"With pleasure!" Tech replied as he gently put down Fu and said, "Stay here."
Both Naruto and Tech went straight at the creature as they both hit him at the same time with a punch to the face. But the force was not strong enough as the monster grabs them by the collar and slams both of them together. Both grunted in pain and were thrown back close to land. Naruto was the first to recover and quickly went back to strike again. He evades the giant's fist and went up close to give it a kick to the chest.. Reaching his pouch, he pulls out a kunai and slashes the creature's face. Knowing that it's not human, it was perfect for an instant kill.
Tech came from behind and delivers a few jabs to the gut and leaps up to kick it to the face. Still in the air, Tech did multiple kicks and kept on hitting the creature with everything he got. It was becoming weaker and Tech stood back to make sure he gets it at the right spot. Naruto came from the side and delivers a blow to the ribcage. With perfect timing, Naruto summoned his clones and one grabbed him by the wrist and had him kick again. The clones gang up on the creature and send it going down to its knees.
This was too much as the creature had enough. Its roar was heard and its body was surging with dark chakra energy. Naruto and Tech stopped what they are doing as they can see it charging up for something big. Hinata notices this and could tell it was a bad sign.
'What is this weird chakra?! It's almost as if...' Hinata's eyes were widened as she shouted, "Naruto, Tech! Get out of the way!"
The boys turn to face the group as they fail to realize that something was surging inside the creature's mouth. It channeled an electrical surge that was powerful to stop anyone at their tracks. The creature growled and released that energy straight at the guys. It was like the same laser that Jugo had, but was black with red electrical currents flowing through.
As they looked back, Naruto and Tech got out of the way and it approached the others. The blast was wide and took about 150 yards of the forest with it. The attack was unstoppable and was surprised that anyone couldn't have survived it.
Luckily, Hinata and Dante were saved thanks to Fu flying them away. The blast was close enough to them as they were about to be struck down. Thanks to Fu's ability and superhuman strength, she was able to lift her friends away from danger.
Hinata sighs deeply as she looks her friend. "Thanks, Fu."
"You're welcome, Hinata!" Fu said. But then, she sees a glimpse of a small light that was coming from within the monster's stomach. A tiny rip was getting her attention as it seems to be getting brighter. "Hinata, can you check that light right there?"
Hinata looks to where Fu was pointing at as she checks it out with her Byakugan. She gasped and said, "It's leaking! Maybe from Naruto and Tech striking the creature there. And I think Dante and you must've pierce right through it with your attacks!"
Fu said, "So, if we can use an attack strong enough…"
"We can take it down!" Hinata stated. "Naruto! Tech! Attack the stomach! It has a weak point!"
Both the teens regain consciousness and heard what Hinata said. Right in front of them, the creature was about to fall down. Naruto sees this and looks at Tech. "Think we can end this?"
Tech nodded. "We need a distraction. I was not supposed to use it, but I guess I have no other choice!"
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked confusingly.
"You'll see!" Tech smirked as he turns to see Dante. "Dante! It's time!"
Dante understood and released his grip from Fu. Dante safely lands on the lake and made a few handseals as he shouted, "Katon: Daburu Jigoku Supia [Fire Release: Double Hell Spear]!" Out from his hands, two spears appeared with flames on the chains. It pierced right at the creature's shoulders and sews to the wrists as it was getting wrapped around. "Hinata, attack the legs!"
"Got it! Fu, throw me!" Hinata ordered.
"You got it!" Fu replied as she slung Hinata straight at the creature like a missile. Thinking quickly, Hinata landed and leaps off it with her feet. Doing a backflip, Hinata strikes at the legs and targets the pressure points. At that moment, the creature was going down on his knees and growled. Dante and Fu look at each other and nodded as Naruto got his clone to prepare his finishing move.
The sky was becoming dark as the clouds were forming into dark one as strong winds emerged. Dante and Fu made their different handseals to create their elemental releases.
Fu: "Fuuton: Tatsumaki Turappu [Wind Release: Tornado Trap]!"
Dante: "Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu [Fire Release: Powerful Fireball Technique]!"
A huge tornado came down onto the creature and surrounds it with force. As for Dante, he spits out huge flames from his mouth, while containing the creature, and let the flames fuse with the tornado. While getting trapped inside, the creature was struggling to break free. Dante knew he couldn't contain it as it was time for Naruto and Tech to end it.
Tech raised his hand and it started to surge electrical energy that was similar to one of Naruto's comrades. As he summons up enough chakra in his arm, black lightning strikes the arm and Tech had jutsu ready in full power! Naruto got his Rasengan ready and both were facing the eyes of the monster in front of them.
"Ready?!" Naruto said.
"Hell yeah!" Tech replied.
Both charged at the same time and the creature was released from the chains. But it was too late as the teens struck the stomach and delivering the final blow to the creature.
Naruto: "Wind Release: Rasengan!"
Tech: "Darkness Release: Karasu's Fury!"
With one last hit, the creature growled and soon exploded into a massive explosive! The blast radius was 50 miles as it can be seen throughout any countries or villages. After the fight was over, Hinata and the others opened their eyes and see the teens alive and survived the explosion. Fu sighed in relief as Dante was smiling to see the creature no more.
But for Naruto and Tech, they were still and looking down to the ground with emotionless features. They were unable to respond as it worries their friends. "Naruto? Are you okay?"
It was ten seconds of silence as the boys were moving their lips. Naruto and Tech only had one thing to say: "That...was...AWESOME!"
"Huh?!" The group said in confusion.
"Oh, my goodness! The way you went all taijutsu with that thing?! That was amazing! And with that midair kick?" Naruto exclaimed.
"Me?! You and your clones did a number on it with a perfect execution! By the way: What was that move with the sphere?" Tech asked with curiosity.
"That was the ultimate jutsu called Rasengan! They say that it took years to master it and I pulled it off in one week!" Naruto answered proudly.
"One week?! Same goes for my ultimate attack: Karasu's Fury! It was named originally after my dad's Dragon Barrage! Naruto, you rock!" Tech said as he gave him a high-five.
"Hehe, thanks! But don't thank me; tell that to our friends! They helped a lot." Naruto stated.
"Oh, yeah! Man, my girl did so much damage when she made that tornado and pierced that sucker with the water drill!" Tech said as Fu blushed from her boyfriend's compliment.
"But let's not forget Hinata with those killer Gentle Fist attacks that stopped him right at his tracks! Hinata, you are the best friend and strongest kunoichi I know in the world!" Naruto said with a huge smile.
Hinata giggled and blushed red on her cheeks. "Thank you, Naruto! That's very sweet!"
"And for Dante...," Tech replied, "...he's a true swordsman to save Hinata and Fu. Thanks, friend!"
"You were awesome, Dante!" Naruto said as he gave him a thumbs-up.
Before Dante would say anything, Hinata and Fu gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, Dante!"
"I-I-I-It's no problem, g-g-guys." Dante sheepishly replied with a shy smile and a huge blush.
The group laughed at Dante's bashfulness and couldn't tell if he might explode at any minute now. Just then, they heard footsteps as they turn to see the Takigakure leader Shibuki and two Shinobi guards.
"Shibuki! Long time, no see!" Naruto grinned.
"Naruto Uzumaki!" Shibuki replied with a smile to see his friend after helping him with some bandits. "It's been awhile since I've last seen you."
"I know, right?" Naruto replied. "So, Shibuki, what brings you here?"
"We heard of what happened and what went down in the village. I saw the guards and spotted this huge explosion!" Shibuki stated.
"Yeah, that would be us!" Naruto answered back as he shows Shibuki his friends.
"I see," said the Takigakure leader. "I'm surprised that you actually brought the Anarchist there to help you out."
"Hey, I needed to help and beat this freak down. Besides, this is my home and I plan to save it no matter what." Tech said as Shibuki was speechless to what he said.
"Huh! I never you to be like this! Maybe Fu might have had some ways to persuade you to be a better man." Shibuki smirked.
Tech blushed as Fu giggled. "Oh, I wouldn't say that. It took a lot of water bullets to change that."
"Bully..." Tech grumbled softly.
"What was that, Tech?" Fu said with a sweet smile and a sadistic tone.
Tech was startled by her tone as he shook his head. "N-N-Nothing, Fu! I-It w-was nothing at all!"
"I hope not." Fu replied.
"So, Naruto, care to explain what happened and what brings you here?" Shibuki asked nicely.
"Well, it's getting late and I'm still tired from the fight. You mind if we talk about this tomorrow morning?" Naruto said as he looks beat.
"Well...okay! Right now, I think you need to relax in one of the hotsprings. I'll make it private only for the five of you heroes." Shibuki offered.
Hinata nodded. "That sounds great! Can we do that, Naruto?"
"Hehe! You know you don't need my permission, Hinata. I'm planning on doing that myself." Naruto said happily.
"As long as Tech don't look at me naked again, I'm fine!" Fu huffed.
"I said I was sorry! Geez, let it go!" Tech groaned as he heads back to the village along with Fu. Naruto, Hinata, and Dante laughed at the two and followed Shibuki to the hot springs for relaxation.
-Konohagakure; Training Grounds-
Looking at the fireflies, Shino was observing what it can be to know more rare insects out there. He was working on his technique and was getting better at it to become like his father. But while he was training, he was being watched by a former Kamizuru member as she was surprised to see how well he trained. She was very curious to why Shino stood up for her a few days back after hearing about her situation.
She wanted to talk to him about it, but she was a little nervous to speaking with someone who made her failed her mission. But for a while, Suzumebachi gained a little confidence and was able to try and talk to him.
Coming out from the trees, Suzumebachi walks closer to the boy and greeted herself instead of not having him attack. "Um...excuse me?"
Shino stops his daydreaming and heard a familiar voice. "Suzumebachi. I didn't see you there."
"Well, I couldn't sleep and decided to take a little walk to clear my head." Suzumebachi answered while not being suspicious. "What are you doing out here?"
"Just looking at this specimen right here." Shino shows out a firefly that was on his finger. "I was amazed to see how this thing can glow with a bright light from behind. I was interested in this."
Suzumebachi couldn't help but smile at Shino's observation. "Say, do you mind if I sit down?" She asked.
"Of course. I don't mind the company." Shino replied as Suzumebachi sat beside him. While sitting down, a few fireflies came and flew around them. "I was happy to hear that you are improving your skills with the bees. I must say that your stay here is making you stronger every day."
Suzumebachi sighs deeply and replied, "Man, training was tough as hell! That Sakura girl can sure punch like a giant and the dude with the robe was so fast that no one can touch him! My teammates may like to play around, but they sure can be serious."
"Same here for my team. Kiba and Sasame are getting along quite well and working together. We're getting along great and I know that we would be ready for anything." Shino stated.
Suzumebachi was surprised to hear this from him as it was nothing compared to how well new Team 7 is getting along. Although her brothers are gone, she knew that they would be proud of her. "Say, Shino, is it?"
"Yes?" Shino answered calmly.
"Um...Why did you defend me back there? I could have said the truth about it." She asked profoundly.
Shino looks at the sky and said nothing. The former Kamizuru girl was waiting on an answer and thought that he was just tired of her. Before she would be mad and leave, Shino answered, "Because...it was better to not tell them without you feeling bad about yourself. I saw the bruise mark on your left shoulder and I knew you were in pain back then."
Suzumebachi starts to rub her shoulder and looks away. "You noticed, huh?"
"Yes," nodded Shino. "But don't worry about it. I'll keep it a secret from the others."
"Um...thanks." Suzumebachi replied as she blushed a little. Suddenly, she sees him getting up and walking away. "H-Hey! W-Where are you going?"
Shino stopped to turn around and said, "I'm returning home. My team is going somewhere tomorrow and I need to get ready."
"Oh." Suzumebachi replied. "Say, um...when will you and your team come back?"
"In about three days. Why so curious?" Shino raised his eyebrow to why she said that.
"Well...I was...j-just wondering...i-if we can...talk again soon." Suzumebachi was looking away as if she cursed herself for being nervous to someone she barely know.
Shino nodded in approval. "Okay, Suzumebachi. I would like to know much about you in the near future. Take care of yourself." Shino disappeared from his insects and was gone from sight.
After he left, the girl couldn't help but feel...happy. Although they were former enemies, Suzumebachi was having the chance to finally meet someone she can get along with. Before she would leave, a firefly was attached to her shoulder and stood there.
She giggled and decided to bring it home with her to keep as something to remember the night by. 'Hmm, maybe living here might not be such a bad idea.'
-Takigakure-
It was morning as the group was ready to make their leave in search of the missing Whirlpool Village. Naruto and Hinata were with Shibuki and explaining to him the situation that occurred last night. Shibuki was shocked to hear that the creature only wanted to capture Naruto and take him away to Lord Orochimaru. He heard that name well as he had Sound Ninjas trying to invade the village. Naruto even explained to why he was in Takigakure was because he told Shibuki that he was exiled by the Konoha Council members.
And what made the leader sad was that Hinata, the girl Naruto introduced, was abused and tortured by her father as she was exiled from her Hyuuga clan. Shibuki felt bad for the two as he wanted to do something for them. But Naruto told him it was okay and was glad because he needed to find a certain village that was in ruins. Shibuki was happy that Naruto had a clan out there and wished him and Hinata good luck.
After the meeting, Tech and Dante wait for them as they were ready to explore more of the village before they leave on their journey.
"So, Hinata, are you still up for that tour? We still have time to kill." Naruto suggested.
"I don't mind, Naruto." Hinata smiled.
"Great! While we are here, we can get some food and supplies needed for our journey." Dante stated.
"Trust me: The four of us are going to make it happen." Tech said with a grin. Just then, his hand was enclosed with someone else as he turns to see who it was.
Fu smiled and added. "I think you mean the five of us. I'm joining you guys on your quest. And Tech, don't ever think you are going to leave me again."
Tech was surprised to hear this from his girlfriend, but he chuckled a bit. He moved his hand towards her cheek and caressed it. Fu was smiling still and blushed pink. "Are you kidding? I don't mind one bit! I actually wanted to ask if you want to come along."
"Of course! I can't let you have too much fun without you! Plus: I owe you a date for helping me out." Tech said sincerely.
Fu giggled and replied, "That's sounds great, Tech!"
Shibuki never thought to see the 'Takigakure Anarchist' have a much softer side to him as he is showing public affection to Fu. Naruto and Hinata were smiling happily to see this and wonder if that can ever happen to them one day.
'Soon, I'll be able to confess to Naruto about how I feel about him.' Hinata thought with a soft blush.
'Look at those two. In a strange way, that might be me and Hinata someday.' Naruto looks at Hinata and said. "Ready to go?"
Hinata looks back and nodded her head. "Lead the way, Naruto."
Naruto held on to Hinata's hand and leads her to their first destination as Tech and Fu go somewhere for their date. Dante felt happy for his friends, but he soon frowned at the thought of why everyone wanted to attack Naruto. 'Hmm, this doesn't make any sense. Why would this Orochimaru person want to kill or capture Naruto? I just hope this was the last of those monsters.'
-Unknown Location-
Deep within the caverns, a young man was walking down to the secret chambers to meet with his master. Kabuto Yakushi was upset to hear the news from a scout ninja that the ambush unit was captured and failed their mission. It was also another report that their escaped experiment was destroyed by a group of kids!
"Orochimaru is not going to like this very well," said Kabuto as he enters the chamber.
In front of him was someone wrapped in bandages by the face and arms. His eyes were snake-like iris and his figure was like a statue. It was the infamous Snake Sannin Lord Orochimaru as he narrows his gaze at his apprentice.
Kabuto bowed to him and said, "Orochimaru...there has been a problem when obtaining Naruto and the Bijuu inside him."
"Go on." His raspy breathing was hard to pronounce, but Kabuto understood it completely.
"Our Sound Ambush units were able to infiltrate the Leaf Village, but they failed. Apparently, three Genins took them out and each captured them." Kabuto paused as he looks at his master's expression. However, he continues on. "Also: one of your experiments escaped and seems to have been killed."
Orochimaru growls underneath the bandages and knew that his plans failed. But soon, his growl became laughter as Kabuto was curious to why he was laughing. "Oh, well. It seems that they were going to fail anywhere. I should've never had them go against the Leaf ninjas."
"What now, sir?" Kabuto asked.
"We wait, Kabuto." Orochimaru smirked under the bandages. "The Akatsuki had us making us getting the hard work done for them. Right now, we have only one person with us and I need him so I can obtain what will be mine! Let the Akatsuki settle this their way and we must continue on with what we need to do."
"And what about our informant?" Kabuto asked.
Orochimaru just laughed and sneered. "He is of no use to us now. He was useful with getting my men to sneak inside the Leaf Village, but he failed to realize that when I fail, they suffer. I guess he will have to learn that the hard way. Dismiss."
"Yes, sir." Kabuto bowed and left his master's chambers.
Orochimaru moved his hand and rubbed his chin with curiosity. 'Sasuke is my only priority and I leave it at that. You have failed me too many times and I cannot let those Akatsuki bastards make me do their dirty work and interrupt my research! Hehehe! It looks like my spy is about have what's coming for him. Very soon...'
