Okay, so I don't really like this chapter, but I really wanted to post something for you guys.

ANNOUNCEMENT: This story will be on hiatus for a while because I want to get an advance on my writing. What I mean by this is that, by the wonderful insight of Lilypad009, I want to be writing ahead of what I'm posting, so I have more time for editing and I can post more quickly.

Shoutout to ZJeM, who has helped me in editing all of my stories! She is awesome, so go check her out!

"Reyna?" called a soft voice. Reyna ignored it, lying helplessly on her couch, tears staining her face. Piper looked through the door, smiling sadly at the distressed teen. "You okay?" Reyna shook her head slightly, and Piper walked over, sitting next to her on the couch and rubbing her back. Reyna pushed herself into an upright position, shaking slightly.

"What happened?" she asked, handing her a box of tissues. Reyna took them, dabbing her cheeks and blowing her nose. She tried to talk, but was overcome with a fresh round of tears.

"I- he just left!" she sobbed quietly. "He's gone."

"I know," Piper said, rubbing her back. "It's okay."

"I'm really sorry," she told Piper. "Will you tell him that? That I'm really sorry?" Piper nodded.

"Of course," she said.

"I love him. I was just trying to tell him that I love him. That's all. And then he got mad, and he left and now he's gone," Reyna rambled.

"He loves you, too," Piper assured. "And he says he's sorry."

"You talked to him?" Reyna asked. Piper nodded.

"He told me that he loves you and that he already misses you. And he wants to apologize, but he thinks that you're still mad at him." Reyna shook her head.

"I'm not mad at him at all. I'm only mad at myself for being so stupid." Her eyes widened. "Is he mad at me?" Piper sighed.

"I really don't know. Leo is so unpredictable. But I'm sure that if he is mad, he doesn't want to be and he'll get over it quickly and realize how sorry he is." Reyna nodded, staring at her hands. Piper looked at her.

"Can you tell me what happened?" she asked quietly. Reyna's lip quivered. "You don't have to if you don't want to!" Piper rushed. Reyna shook her head.

"No, no, it's alright." She took a shaky breath. "After you left, I told him how I felt when he had gone behind my back, and how I wasn't in a place where I could trust him. He accepted it, and I was so happy. I just felt so overwhelmed with emotion, that I told him that I loved him. And then, everything went wrong. Leo was angry because he said I was "playing with his emotions". I was angry because he was angry. We argued, and then he left." A tear slid down her cheek. "And he was gone." Piper pulled Reyna into a hug.

"I'm sorry," she said. Reyna sighed, shaking her head.

"I'm a demigod and I'm pregnant. At 17. With someone I've only known a few months." She chuckled darkly. "I'm screwed."

"Don't think about it like that," Piper chastised. "Think about it like this: you're a demigod who gets to start her family a few years earlier than everyone else, and you get to start it with someone you love."

"My life sucks right now. It's absolutely awful being pregnant. People say that it's a great experience, but it just makes you so uncomfortable. I mean, have you ever tried to sleep with an extra 20 pounds pressing down on you? Do you know what it's like to be elated one moment and depressed the next? And the worst part is, I don't even have someone who can support me, now that Leo's gone." She gasped, apparently having a sudden realization. "Tomorrow's my next appointment," she whispered. "What if Leo doesn't come? We decided we were going to find out the sex this time."

"I'm sure that Leo will come to the ultrasound. He loves you and the baby, and he wouldn't miss a chance to see it," she said. Reyna didn't say anything, continuing to stare at her shoes. "It's all going to be okay," Piper assured, resting a hand on Reyna's and giving it a reassuring squeeze. Reyna looked at her, smiling slightly.

"Thank you," she said. "For being here." She chuckled slightly. "I know I'm not easy to deal with right now."

"It's okay," Piper said. "And I'll always be here if you want to talk."

"Could you-" Reyna started. "Could you ask Leo if he's coming tomorrow?" Piper smiled.

"Of course," she said. Reyna grinned at her. In all of her resentment to the daughter of Aphrodite, she hadn't thought to actually look past the fact that she was with Jason and really try to see who she was. She was starting to realize that that was a mistake.

"Thank you," she said. "Again."

"Not a problem," Piper told her. The two girls looked at each other for a moment, an unspoken bond being formed.

"Do you mind if I go get some rest?" Reyna asked after a brief pause. Piper shook her head.

"Not at all," she said, standing up along with the pregnant teen. They stood in silence for a moment, before Reyna suddenly moved forward and hugged Piper. Piper was surprised for a moment, but quickly returned the gesture, tightening her arms around her.

"You have no idea how much I needed this," Reyna whispered, her voice cracking.

"I know," Piper told her. Reyna pulled away from her, wiping a tear off her cheek.

"Thank you," she whispered.

"You are always welcome," Piper returned. "And I want you to know that Leo really does love you." Reyna smiled.

"I love him, too," she said. "Will you tell him that?"

"Of course," Piper told her, smiling. "I'll go tell him that right now."

"Thank you, again, for everything," Reyna said as she walked Piper to the door of her villa.

"You are absolutely welcome," Piper said as she closed the door, looking behind her shoulder and waving. Reyna waved back, smiling to herself. Maybe she had made a mistake in judging Piper so quickly.

Okay, not really satisfied with the ending of this, but whatever.

Please review! I swear, it makes my day, and it really doesn't take a lot of effort to type a sentence or two and then click a button.
