Chapter 11

Normal P.O.V.

"I hate riddles…." Natsu grumbled, crossing his arms and sitting down. They stood in front of a field of shacks, old Fiore flags torn and waving weakly in the small breeze. They were surrounded by trees, no means of escape if there were an attack. No one was around for miles.

"We're never going to find her!" Wendy wailed, throwing her hands in the air. It seemed true to everybody. They couldn't figure out the riddle, arguing the whole trip.

"That's it! I'm just going to smash the walls in on every shed!" Natsu said, standing up, and storming to the nearest shack. Erza grabbed him by his scarf.

"The sheds are magicked. You can't smash them in. You've already tried four times. Enough already!" She said, throwing him to the ground.

"Now, sit. And help us figure out the riddle before we find Lucy dead." She growled. "We are going to go through this piece by piece. Now, let's see. Who makes it, has no need for it. Who buys it, has no use for it. And who uses it, can see nor feel it."

"An invisible box for a mime?" Gray asked. Erza smacked the back of his head.

"Why in the world would you think that?" She said, looking at him like he was an idiot.

"Juvia agrees with Gray-sama!" Juvia cried, casting an outraged look at Erza. Erza cast her glare upon Juvia.

"An invisible box for a mime. Let's see, first the mime makes it. You can't buy it. And a mime would pretend to see or feel it. You would have to be dead to not be able to see or feel anything." Erza scoffed. Natsu shot a surprised look at Erza.

"That's it! The third person is dead, which is why they can't see or feel it!" He said, half standing up before sitting back down at Erza's glare.

"What does a dead person use that no one else does?" Carla asked, crossing her paws and waving her tail in annoyance.

"A coffin?" Wendy asked. Suddenly, a door to one of the shacks sprung open. They all looked at it in surprise, before running towards it. Natsu ran ahead, freezing in the door way.

"What is it, Natsu? Go on!" Gray said, exasperated.

"It's a coffin." Natsu whispered.
