A quick note though before I begin- Due to my laptop still being down, my update schedule will be altered greatly. I will only update this story when I finish writing the chapter on my phone, and for those who are reading the "Special" story, I will be putting it on hold until I can get my laptop back.

Without further ado- CHAPTER 11!

Chapter 11

Flashback

Up on the hill outside Magnolia was Natsu, Lisanna, Wendy, and Mystogan, who was sitting off to the side.

"Let's make a house!" Suggested Natsu.

"Why?" Asked Lisanna.

"Um..."

Lisanna smiled teasingly, "Aw, does Natsu wanna play house?"

Wendy jumped at this, "Can we!?" She pleaded.

"Sure!" Answered Lisanna, "As long as it's okay with Natsu,"

Natsu smirked, "I'll make the best base ever!" He exclaimed as he shot his fist into the air.

A few minutes later

"That isn't safe," remarked Mystogan.

"Bah, shut up," said Natsu, "You didn't even help."

In front of the four children was a crudely made rock-house. The second Natsu made a step towards the entrance, it caved in on itself.

"Told you,"

"SHUT UP!"

Lisanna sighed, "Here, let me do it," She put down the egg is her hand and transformed into a giant rabbit. She then got to work in clearing the area and building a new house, this time out of straw.

"Done!" She exclaimed in front if a straw dome-like house.

"Cool!" Exclaimed Natsu and Wendy, both of whom were holding their eggs.

"Well, come on in!" Motioned a human Lisanna as she ran into the straw house.

Natsu and Wendy looked at each other and rushed into the house after Lisanna.

Mystogan let out a sigh and looked in the distance at a spying red head and white haired girl.

They quickly ducked out of his sight.

Mystogan chuckled, "Don't let your rivalry get in the way of their friendship," he remarked.-

In the Straw House

Natsu, Lisanna and Wendy all sat in a circle around each other. Natsu and Wendy were holding their eggs.

"Wow, it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be!" said Natsu.

"Yeah...It is," added Wendy.

Lisanna smiled, "Well, thank you!"

Natsu went back to concentrating on the egg, "I wonder what will hatch from it..."

Wendy spoke up, "Mystogan-Nii said that exceed are cat-like um..."

Lisanna tilted her head, "animals?" She asked, trying to help end the sentence.

"No, it was something else." Responded Wendy, trying fruitlessly to remember the specific word.

"Creatures," came Mystogan's voice from the entrance. He walked in and took a seat next to Wendy.

"Yeah, that was it!" Exclaimed Wendy, who after realizing her outburst, went into the fetal position.

"Is she okay?" Asked Natsu.

Mystogan sighed, "Yeah, I'm sure you've noticed that she's a shy one."

"Yeah," responded Lisanna, "It's okay Wendy, you can come up."

Wendy slowly rose and apologized for her outburst, but it was quickly dismissed when Lisanna revealed that Natsu did it all the time.

The three children were smiling in amusement, while Mystogan, due to the scarf, could not be identified.

"You know, it's kinda like we're one big family!" Exclaimed Lisanna.

"WHAAA!"exclaimed Natsu and Wendy as they fell on their backs.

"Yeah, Mystogan and Wendy are like a brother and sister waiting for their new little brother or sister," explained Lisanna, "And Natsu and I are like...a married couple waiting for our first baby!"

Natsu, who was just getting up again fell over once more, this time with a feint red blush adorned on his cheeks.

Mystogan chuckled, "Don't you think you're rushing it a bit?"

Lisanna gasped, "Your right!"

"Y-yeah," agreed Natsu, who was slowly recovering again, "Don't you think we're a little young to be married."

"Yeah," responded Lisanna sheepishly, "...I know! Natsu, when we get older...can I be your wife?"

Natsu's eyes widened as the blush on his cheeks deepened and he fell back, for a third time, Mystogan mumbling "Poor boy,"

Lisanna had a light blush on her cheeks, but said, "I'm just kidding."

"G-good," said Natsu nervously.

Lisanna laughed, while Natsu hung his head in shame.

"We probably won't want to tell Mira-nee or Erza about that," remarked Lisanna.

"Yeah..." Agreed Natsu.

"...Hey Natsu-san?" Asked Wendy.

"Yeah?"

"Where did you find the egg?"

"Yeah, where did you find that egg?" Added Lisanna.

"Oh, well I was out exploring the woods, and it fell out of a tree." Answered Natsu.

"Can you show us?" Asked Mystogan.

Natsu raised an eyebrow, "Why?"

"Curious..." Was his answer.

Natsu shrugged, seemingly accepting the answer.

Natsu got up and exited the house.

"Come on!" He called.

Mystogan, Wendy, and Lisanna got up and followed him into the woods behind the straw house. They walked through the forest, in a path known only by the leader, Natsu.

"Right here!" Announced Natsu as they stopped in front of a large tree.

"The egg fell from the tree?" Asked Mystogan.

"Yeah," responded Natsu.

Mystogan looked up and said, "I wanna see something."

Mystogan ran at the tree and began to climb it, Natsu, Lisanna, and Wendy cheering him on the whole time. Soon, Mystogan disappeared from sight.

Natsu sat down at the base of the tree. He folded his arms around the back of his head and leaned back.

"Give me that egg." Said a commanding voice.

Lisanna and Wendy jumped back in fear as Natsu jumped up, fists on fire to face the hulking voice...a Vulcan.

Natsu's eyes widened as he realized who it was, he was also we aware that Vulcans loved eggs.

"S-stay away!" He yelled.

The Vulcan smiled deviously, "Oh and look, two cute girls too! This must be my lucky day. Two big eggs and two girls!"

"I-I said get away!" Yelled Natsu fearfully.

The Vulcan raised its hand up, "Get out of my way!" It ordered as its hand came down and connected wit Natsu's body, sending him flying into a tree, "Now come here little girls..."

The Vulcan was about to grab them, when Natsu came bouncing back "Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon!" He yelled as a flaming fist made contact with the Vulcan...and did absolutely nothing.

The Vulcan laughed, "Hahaha do you call that an attack!" It than kicked Natsu and sent him hurling at a tree.

Natsu never hit it though.

"Are you okay Natsu?" Came a feminine voice.

"Erza?" Questioned Natsu as he looked up to see his red haired, childishly armored sister.

"Yeah," she responded.

Natsu looked behind her and saw Mirajane, and she looked pissed.

"Now, how about we teach this monkey a lesson?" Suggested Mirajane.

Erza cracked her knuckles, "Gladly,"

The Vulcan laughed, "Do you really think you can beat me!?"

Erza's body became engulfed in a gold light as her childish armor was switched out with her basic battle armor-The Heart Kreuz Armor. It was a simple armor, that covered her chest, stomach and arms. Over the left chest plate was the Heart Kreuz symbol. In her hand was also a sword.

A dark purple seal appeared underneath Mirajane as her features changed. Her hands, up to her elbow became reptilian, she grew a tail and a set of wings. Her clothes also changed to a more provocative set. Over all, she resembled a demon.

Both Mirajane and Erza smiled evilly at the Vulcan, and charged at the beast. Wendy gasped.

Mirajane and Erza were...COMPLETELY OWNING THE BATTLE. The Vulcan stood no chance against the two girls. Each time Erza missed a slice, Mirajane would be right behind her with a hit of her own. If Mira missed, Erza hit! The Vulcan was at a huge disadvantage, and decided it would be best to just run away, but as it ran, Erza used Blumenblatt and fired multiple swords at the Vulcan, and Mira used Soul Extinction and fired a beam of darkness about half her size. Both attacks fused, and hit the Vulcan head on.

A small explosion formed in the vicinity. When the smoke cleared, the Vulcan laid in a charred mess.

Mirajane and Erza simply looked at the Vulcan with anger.

The two girls were knocked out of their rage, as a thud erupted from next to Lisanna and Wendy. The two elder sisters, turned to see the masked boy standing by them.

"Thank you," he said.

"Why didn't you help them?" Asked Mira.

"I knew you two were in the area." He said.

"Don't count on us always being there to save your ass!" Said Mirajane, "Now come on Lisanna, we're going back to the Guild."

There was no complaining on Lisanna's part, as everyone else was going there as well.

The Guild

Laxus laughed, "'Couldn't even beat a Vulcan?" Mocked Laxus to Natsu.

Natsu growled, "Hey, they're harder then they look!"

"Maybe if you didn't carry that egg around with you everywhere he wouldn't have jumped you." Lectured Laxus.

Natsu folded his arms, "Well sorry, I want to be there when it hatches!"

Laxus face palmed, "Dude, it's not going to hatch any time soon."

Just as Laxus was saying this, Lisanna ran towards them.

"NATSU! NATSU! Come quick it's hatching!" Announced Lisanna.

"Really!?" Yelled Natsu excitedly.

"Yeah, come on!" She grabbed his hand and took him to the center of the Guild, where Wendy's egg was hatching.

"What about mine?" Asked Natsu.

"Not yet, but isn't this exciting!?"

Natsu, who was looking upset that the egg was not his, decided that it was okay, and turned excited like all the other children.

The egg began to gain more and more cracks, until finally a small, white cat broke free!

..."Um Gramps?"called Laxus, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't cats give live birth?"

Makarov scratched his head, "Yeah, they do."

"It isn't a cat," called Mystogan as the feline jumped out of it's egg and towards Wendy, "It's an Exceed." Just as the cat was going to hit the floor, it sprouted wings and flew the rest of the way!

Everyone was awestruck.

"I-it can fly?" Asked Mira.

"Yeah," responded Mystogan.

"...COOL!" Yelled Natsu excitedly as Wendy hugged her cat, "Now I can't wait for my egg to hatch!"

"I'm gonna name you Carla!" Announced Wendy happily.

The cat didn't seem too enthused, although that may be due to the fact that Wendy was strangling her.

"Ease up Wendy," instructed Mystogan.

Wendy looked down and saw that she was indeed suffocating the poor cat. She released it with a "SORRY!"

Carla then flew up to a table and sat on it, observing everyone.

Flashback end- Lisanna Strauss

"And that was how Wendy's exceed was born," I finished.

"What about Happy?" Asked Lucy.

"He was born a week later," explained Natsu, "Mystogan and Wendy were gone at the time."

"Okay, was there anything bog that happened in-between?" Asked Lucy.

"No, not really," I answered.

"Alright, well thanks for telling me the-" Lucy was cut off by the ring of the lacrima-phone.

Master Makarov moved forward and answered it, "Fairy Tail, Master Makarov speaking."

"Makarov," said an ominous voice.

Makarov's eyes widened in shock, then squinted into a hateful glare.
