Well here it is everyone! Up nice and quick. At least I wish I could say that! It was a bit difficult to come up with some stuff but it is up now and I wish to have this up in a week! Read on!
3rd person POV
A day later in San Francisco.
It was a normal day in the large city. Fog rolled in from the hills and clouds covered the sky's. Suddenly that all changed. The sky turned dark as the clouds blackened. The temperatures plummeted as snow began falling from the sky strangely starting at the center of the city. Slowly at first but quickly growing to a blizzard as it spread t cover all the city. People screamed and cars swerved and tipped. In minutes the entire city was covered, frozen and silent. The storm began spreading from the city limits over land yet stopping at sea. Standing at the center of the frozen city was a single figure hands raised toward the sky as the storm spread outward.
1 week later
It had been a week since the hunters and campers capture the flag game and since then, all Tartarus had been loosed it seemed. First off the army of chaos had suddenly appeared within camp half blood as if overnight within the chaos cabin, which also appeared. Though that was good news seeing that they were a thousand strong and the mightiest army in existence. Then there's what has been happening. Connections with camp Jupiter had been lost over a week ago. All iris messages had simply shown black. Olympus had since issued a quest for camp half blood. Three people were sent to investigate what had happened to the Romans. It was lead by the 'great' hero Blake and his whore, Annabeth. The third member was a fairly new camper and daughter of iris by the name of Emily. She was unwillingly forced to be on this as no one else wanted to be with the two alone. That and she had a strong connection with her mother, able to contact her without a drachma.
They were sent five days ago with the oracle silent. Contact with them was lost when they reached Nevada, the western most part of the state. An Iris message was sent to Olympus moments before all connections were completely lost. Olympus had called all cabin leaders along with Chiron to an emergency meeting.
Up On Olympus
Pandemonium rained on the Gods capitol. The gods, as usual, were simply arguing with one another endlessly. The cabin leaders along with the hunt, Alpha and a general from the chaos army, Alex, sat upon some couches summoned up by said gods. Hestia, Hades and Poseidon were the only gods that appeared to be calmed and relaxed. Zeus, finally seeing that everyone was there, slammed his master bolt onto the ground silencing everyone.
" Now that we are all here we may begin the meeting!" Boomed The Lord of the sky' king of the gods gestured at the throne room doors parted revealing the goddess iris. "Go on then,"Zeus said,"Show us."
She nodded and waved her hand in front of her. A rainbow appeared. There was a crackling sound from it and an image of Emily appeared. Snow fell around her, a huge blizzard engulfing all the light and warmth from the area, dark clouds spiraling out from behind her. Sounds of battle sounded behind her and she herself had many cuts over her body. Iris made a sound in her throat very close to a whimper at the sight of her daughter. A second later the message began.
" Thi- this is Emily, daughter of Iris contacting Olympus. The enemy has cornered us at the edge of Nevada. It didn't seem like an attack at first just some snow beginning to fall. But it very quickly escalated to a full scale blizzard. We began moving forward for a few feet as the snow covered the ground in blankets when it happened. Beasts made of ice simply grew from the ground. They struck quickly coming at us with speed th-that I've never even seen before! The others will not last long but we have found out who it is! It is one of the i-".
There was a large crash behind her and a body flew by the message and into whatever was beyond it. There was a flash of movement and suddenly Emily was on the ground, a large gash in her chest bleeding profoundly. Iris gasped in apparent pain at the sight of her daughter but stayed silent as the message continued.
The sounds of fighting had stopped and now snow and silence prevailed. Iris was about to wave her hand to cancel the message when footsteps sounded from the other side, crunching snow beneath his or her feet. She stopped and looked, stunned.
"Tha-that wasn't there originally. Whoever that is, they are changing the original message!"
The gods looked at her, shocked at the news until a voice sounded from the message drawing away their attention once more.
"Dear, dear Olympians it has been far too long."
The sound of snow crunching stopped and someone crouched down In front if the message that quickly distorted making it impossible to see who he was.
" He's distorting the link so we can't see him!" Cried the distressed Iris.
" Cancel the message!" Zeus yelled
Iris waved her hand but the message stayed where it was. " Whoever that is, has taken complete control of the message even adding onto it!"
His head, or what appeared to be his head, tilted towards where Iris was standing and began speaking again.
" Ah yes, sweet little iris who fears so much for her pretty little child so scared and weak. She is alive and will stay so, fear not. Simply come get her."
His head turned once more, this time to the far side of the throne room at Apollo.
" Apollo, the small sun god who replaced a Titan with a heavy heart and loves his sister with all of it. You are one of the better gods."
" Hades, the god of the under world unwanted yet the second strongest of them all. You are also one of the better gods."
" Ares, the little god of war that so desperately calls for it, but so useless and weak on a battle field."
" Hermes, the poor messenger unappreciated by save a few yet always being forced with their needs."
" Dionysus...well I need not say anything."
" Hephaestus, god of the forge thought to be ignored by his wife he loves truly, worry not you are good as well."
" Now Zeus, the apparent mighty king of the gods and lord of the sky's. Believing himself unbeatable with his nonexistent powers."
" Poseidon, lord of the seas and the earth, with enough power to easily dethrone Zeus yet not doing it out of friendship for others. You are the greatest god."
His head turned towards the female side of the gods starting with Hera.
" Hera,the goddess of marriage so betrayed and sour yet so sweet and gentle inside. You have some sympathy from me."
" Athena, goddess of wisdom so apparent smart and superior yet afraid of failure and prejudice to others so easily."
" Aphrodite, the goddess of love who is so very...slutty but an act for her husband to get his attention away from his machines to her."
" Demeter, goddess of harvest always talking about cereal...I need not say more."
" Hestia, the goddess of the hearth. So gentle and caring, the very anchor of Olympus yet unappreciated by so many. You are the greatest goddess."
" Artemis, the goddess of the moon and virginity, who once so wanted to lose it to one. Judging the entire side of a gender by the actions of a few while the same side is just as bad. Creating one of the most prejudice and evil group in history save one. Leading the greatest genocide in the unknown history of the universe. You are the worst of them all."
As his words sank in, as it was a he, the demigods looked at the Olympians with confusion and shock, the hunters mainly confusion at their mistress. Before the confusion and paranoia could overwhelm he continued.
" I have come to claim and cleanse this planet of the filth that now occupies it. Human, and gods shall all die, well the ones that I disapprove of will others will live. The freeze, as creatures of the underworld have put it, has started once more and now it shall consume the planet whole. From it shall be born a world free from the god and human plague. As I've said before, choose your side now or flee from my planet forever. This world has long since been over..."
With that he began laughing darkly as the message faded leaving that laugh to echo through the halls and rooms of Olympus.
