Once the two young adults settled in their room they decided to order room service rather than to go out in public for dinner.

"So you grew up in the south of Georgia?" Mako asked as they were eating their dinner.

"Yeah. You know the farm life. Not having cell phone signal in certain parts of my town. Everyone knows each other. That type of thing." Korra replied before she popped a piece of potato in her mouth.

"Why music?" he asked next.

"Well my grandfather, Aang was a general in the 100 Year War. Along with him was my uncles Zuko and Sokka and my grandmother Katara and my aunts Suki and Toph. Once the war was over and everything was at peace they founded Republic City,"

Mako was in shock to say the least. General Aang White and Firelord Zuko were related to her! That was a shock. He would have never thought that she was related to the most important people in the history of the world due to the fact that she's very humble in everything she does.

"So that means you're related to Councilman Tenzin?" he asked.

"Yeah that's my uncle and his wife and three kids with a fourth on the way. Anyway my mom and dad both served in the Navy for twenty something years before they both retired and had me. My dad is now the Mayor of Georgia and my mom volunteers for Veterans at the VA Hospital," the young woman sighed before continued her story.

"I didn't want to be in politics like the rest of family. I wanted to do something different but I also didn't want to spend years of my life in college. I was seventeen when I graduated from high school and I joined the National Guard for five years before I came home, packed my things up and moved to New York with my dog Naga."

Mako was moved by her story. It was different from all the other stories he heard throughout the years; most people only want the money and fame that come all with being in the industry but Korra has heart that's probably why in he picked her to help with the album in the first place.

"I never knew you knew you were in the National Guard or that your family is a part of the most important part of history."

"Yeah. We I meet people I try not to tell them about my family's history only for the fact that many people use that as a way to use me to get their family ahead in the politics."

"That's true. You have a lot of heat though Korra."

The blue eyed girl blushed at his comment. Hearing that she had heart from one of the most famous music individuals in the world was amazing.

"You told me your story so I should tell you mine." Mako said before getting comfortable on the sofa, as Korra did the same.

"Bolin and I was born in Republic City. Our parents worked and came home and everything was fine until one night. I was eight at the time and Bolin was six and we just finished watching a movie with our parents when someone came up and mugged them. Once they found they didn't have any money on them, they shot them point blink."

Mako didn't like to talk about his parents after their death to anyone, not even a therapist could help get over their death; but something about the blue eyed girl sitting in front of him just made him what to tell her everything.

"After that day Bo and I have been homeless. We couldn't work because we were so young and our family was on the other side of the world and had no way to fly out and come get us let alone raise us. We had to steal most of the time for food or even sneak into truck stops to shower. I sung to Bo every night to let him know that everything would be okay and one night a man named Toza heard me and offered us a place to stay and a chance at a career. After that the rest is history."

"You're a good man Mako and even a better brother and you shouldn't let anyone take that away from you."

"Yeah, it's just I worry a lot and years of seeing therapist never helped me." He said before looking up at her with a smile. "Maybe it takes talking to someone close."

The rest of the night was spent sharing stories about their lives and having a few laughs here and there, although it was passed midnight and the two were getting tired they decided to call it a night and went to their rooms before passing out with smiles on their faces.

The next morning Korra was woken up by the sound Bolin waking up Mako and the smell of donuts.

"Bolin I can wake up myself you know."

"Of course I do, buuuuuutttt it's you and Korra's only day to hang out with me before you guys go on Wendy and sign papers and what not."

"Bo we're going on the show for one day and then going straight home."

"Exactly. Yesterday you guys were too tired, today you're doing nothing and tomorrow is Wendy so let's hang out." At that point Korra had rolled out of bed and walked out to the kitchen where the two brothers were.

"Good morning guys." She said as walked to the kitchen for some coffee.

"Good morning Korra! You know I was thinking that you, Mako and I should hang out today and explore L.A."

"Okay fine with me." The young woman said as she slipped her coffee causing Bo to smile and Mako to shake his head before walking to the T.V. to turn it on and of course it was on The Wendy Williams Show.

"Are you guys excited to have Mako and Korra on the show tomorrow?" she asked her audience and of course there were loud cheers and the camera showing people smiling.

"Not only are they performing on the show but they also agreed to have a sit down on the purple sofa." The statement alone made the audience cheer with claps for days. Next thing the three young adults see is a picture of Bolin, Mako, and Korra smiling together. It was one of the many pictures that Bolin took while they were in the office together.

"So this is Bolin, Mako, and Korra," Wendy said as she pointed to each before continuing. "She's really beautiful isn't she? She has the brightest blues I have ever seen and I could look in them for days. So reports say that the two have a thing for each other and Bolin approves of her as a good match if they decided to go out." Of course the audience cheered on the statement and the blue eyed girl's cheeks heated up; the world thought that they were dating?

"You know I would be happy if that was my brother and he found someone as beautiful and talented as she is. You know Korra is like that one in a million girl who comes from a small town in Georgia and has talent, brain and beauty. Mako has brains, talent, and he's very handsome and the same goes for his brother Bolin. By the way Norman does Bolin have a girlfriend?"

"He does, you know the model Opal?"

"Oh really? She's beautiful. Its good to know to that some men in the world have good taste."

Mako was shocked to hear all the things coming out of Wendy's mouth. Korra is beautiful and she has talent and brains but the two of them going out isn't a good idea for the fact that you don't mix business and pleasure.

"Hot topics is over! Oh well we'll have more on Mako and Korra tomorrow but still on today is the wonderful Wonder Woman herself Linda Carter."

Mako shut off the T.V. and the room was silent.

"Just to let you guys know I didn't say anything to anyone." Bolin said before he grabbed a donut from the box.
