Motor's P.O.V
"Ahahaha!" Motor laughed as he finally finished the pouch, "I feel kind of generous so, I should give them a present." he took a closer inspection of his new invention though Motor broke the flintlocks by deenchanting it, he made another pouch but smaller, inside the pouch is six bullets bunch together in a circular way. He then pulled out a black cylindrical metal that has six holes in it the same way, he placed the metal on the bunch of bullets, he pulled it up and noticed the bullets was attached to the metal.
"Speedloaders." Motor blurted out, "Seems more efficient than loading this damn gun a bullet at a time." he took hold of a pistol like gun that has a cylindrical body in the middle, "Revolvers?... Hahahaha, seems like it could fit him... Now for their chores. Hahahaha!"
Chrome's P.O.V
"What did you do with Stella?!" Corona was interrogating Chrome, "She's been acting clumsier whenever she's with you!"
"I don't know what you're talking about." Chrome denied not knowing what she meant, "We just toyed a bunch of the Royal Guards. The next thing I knew... she's like that!" Chrome pointed at Stella who was twiddling her thumbs.
"That doesn't explain why Grace is the same." Corona mentioned pointing towards Grace who was practically doing the same, "She's like that as well." Corona squinted her eyes in suspicion, "What have you been doing?!"
"I did absolutely nothing!" Chrome denied once again having no clue whatsoever, "I just apologized to her! I even apologized to her for no Notch damn reason!" Chrome said, Corona noticed Grace wince when she heard Chrome.
"What kind of apology did you make?!" Corona asked once more, Chrome sighed, "I hugged her." Chrome then narrowed his eyes at Corona in an amusing manner, "What did YOU do with Rexir? I've seen Rexir acting more flustered than usual whenever you get close." he laughed as soon as he saw Corona's cheeks was bright red and steam was practically coming out of her ears, "Not so good being interrogated eh?"
"Okay!" Motor exclaimed as he opened the door, "Chrome, want to hear the goods news first or the bad news?" Chrome suddenly shifted his attention to the inventor.
"Hm..." Chrome pondered, "Bad news?"
"Okay! Bad news, your flintlocks is in pieces." Motor said which causes Chrome's eyes widen in shock, "The good news, I successfully finished the pouch and made some tweaks on the elephant gun." he handed out a pouch and elephant gun.
"By some tweaks you meant a lot of tweaks?" Chrome asked examining the gun closely, "It feels a bit lighter and is a bit smaller."
"Well, the gun I showed you was a prototype." Motor explained, "It's recoil will send you flying for a good two seconds. So I tweak it a bit to your... erm... style." Motor then handed out a holster and a smaller version of the pouch Chrome received seconds ago.
"Also." Motor added, "Constant shooting with the elephant gun would cause your shoulders to... dislocate." he said trying to find the correct word while shrugging, "So I also made you another gun it's called a Revolver, it can be shot six times before having to reload."
"I want to test this out first." Chrome said narrowing his eyes at Motor, "I don't want to end up getting my hand blown off like your wall."
"Fair enough." Motor said, "Follow me then."
Chrome followed him and the others soon followed suit. Chrome then tried out the guns he was given and was pleased, Motor taught him how to reload both of the guns and got the hang of it immediately as it will only take Chrome one and a half seconds to reload the the two guns with ease. Motor saw this and grinned as he gathered the attention of the five.
"Okay!" Motor exclaimed as he clapped his hands once, "Since thanks to those two guns and fixing your weapons, I have ran out of supply and Andr said the food supply almost empty, I need you five to mine and hunt."
"What?!" the girls exclaimed, Rexir had his mouth open in shock, and Chrome had a grin. Chrome remember what happens when Rexir sees a hostile mob mostly zombies, "I'll be taking the mining job and you Rexir take the hunting job." Chrome said to Rexir; he nodded and Chrome shifted his attention to the still shocked girls, "You three, your chose on what job to do."
"Okay, I'll give you both a map to your destination." Motor handed out a map each to Chrome then to Rexir, "Good luck." Motor then gave Chrome an iron pickaxe. The guys went out of the door which made the girls who was still in shock ran after them. Their party has no good chemistry so the hunting job would be take on by Corona, Rexir, and Stella while the mining job will be taken by Chrome and Grace. Why is Corona in the hunting job? She insisted on it. They went on their separate ways, Chrome walking a bit uncomfortable as Grace clings on his arm affectionately, though it's not as uncomfortable with the two, uncomfortable nonetheless.
"So let's see here." Chrome said as he took out a list, "We'll be needing a stack of iron and thirty pieces of coal."
"Okay!" Grace exclaimed happily, they went inside the designated and very well lit cave and started to look for the needed materials. Grace covering for Chrome as he mines the materials. With Chrome's luck though he always managed to find a vein of iron and coal which made their job a bit easier.
"Chrome." Grace called out to him, "How many do we have right now?"
"About sixty in iron and coal is already finished." Chrome said as he broke four more iron ores completing a whole stack, "Ok, our job is done. Let's go meet up with Rexir and the others in the forest. I'm thinking they're gonna need help with the two stacks of every meat." Chrome then slung the back full of materials on his shoulders and readied one of his swords on his left hand. They both was about to take another step when they heard moaning, clanking of bones, and hissing. Both of them looked back and saw a whole horde of hostile mobs coming out of the deepest and unlit part of the cave.
"I think we need to run Chrome." Grace suggested, "Don't have to tell me." they both ran towards the exit avoiding arrows in the process, unfortunately Chrome got hit by three arrows on both of his shoulders and one of his legs, he was currently lying down on the grass.
"Any... chance... you might want to... help me?" Chrome grunted out in pain in between pauses as he was about to pass out with all all the blood he lost, "Of course there's a chance to help you!" Grace said as she suddenly pulled out two instant health potion and poured the red liquid on Chrome's mouth slowly. After the first potion was finished Grace immediately made Chrome drink another one. An hour later Chrome's wounds healed but the arrows still embedded on his shoulders and leg.
"Bloody hell!" Chrome removed one of the arrows on his shoulders forcefully, "Ahh!" he screamed as he removed the other way, "This feels worst than getting a knife in you!" he finally removed the arrow on his leg as blood started to seep out. Grace bandaged it right away and blushed a little when she started bandaging Chrome's leg.
"There all done!" Grace said cheerfully, "I wonder why that part of the cave had no lights."
"I don't know." Chrome said as he test out his shoulders, he then kicked the air trying to see any signs of pain in his legs, nothing so they continued on, "I hope they aren't having any problems hunting."
Rexir's P.O.V
They were at the edge of the forest hunting for food supplies, Rexir was crouching down and was hidden in a bush aiming at a grazing cow , he wasn't breathing at all trying to steady his aim. Once he was sure he can hit the cow, he released the string and the arrow hit the cow's head killing it instantly. He stood back up and went to get his kill. He then saw another cow farther away from him as he aimed for it. When he was about to release the string an arrow flew towards it first and hit the cow's head. Stella came out of the bushes and waved at Rexir, him waving back.
"How many have you got?" Stella asked looking at her leather bag filled with an assortment of meat.
"Thirty." Rexir said in a whisper like way, "Oh okay... wait, did you just talked?" Stella asked confirming about it, Rexir could only nod, "I guess that's a good start." Stella said as she went and look for other game. Rexir following suit, Corona was hunting as well as she tries her best to hide from the animals and kill them. Surprisingly she was doing well than expected. Though the forest they were in is within the territory of a very aggressive lone lion, infamous for killing hunters who dared to step in his territory. Rumors saying that lion has lots of battle scars and was even tough enough to fight a group of bandits. Corona met up with Rexir and Stella who was still looking for animals to hunt.
"You sure this lion won't show up?" Stella asked Corona to which she shrugged, "I don't know. For all we know that lion might just be fabrication to scare of hunters." Corona said trying to hide the uneasiness. Rexir suddenly tensed and signaled the girls to quiet down, they were hearing rustling in front of them, Corona and Stella tensing up as well. Speaking of the devil, the lion showed up and lunged towards the three, Rexir and Stella managed to dodge while Corona blocked the giant lion's paws with her sword. Corona was struggling to keep the lion from scratching her and so shoved it back, though it only made the lion stumble a mere two seconds. Rexir and Stella drew their bows and fired at the lion to which it slashes the arrows in to two pieces.
"Tch! The thing can literally fight an army!" Corona commented about the beast as while on the other hand Rexir was examining the giant lion. It was about 8 feet tall if it stood on two and looked heavy enough to wrestle and kill a grizzly bear with ease. Rexir aimed for the lion once again and was able to hit the beast, it roared a bit causing more rage to build up on the beast as it went towards Rexir, Corona intercepted the beast by ramming herself to it which worked as the claws of the beast grazed Rexir's leather helmet. Corona was then occupied with a grapple from the lion, the lion far more stronger than her obviously won as it swiped at her which Corona's back was hit by the tree, can't even move her body.
"Corona!" Stella screamed out as she let go of the drawn bow and an arrow whoosh towards the lion which it's body, it roared once again and chased after her and swipes at her, her back hitting a tree as well and can't even move also. Rexir enraged with what the lion did to the two girls lunged at the lion as he takes out his spear and aims for the lion, the beast fearlessly charging at him as well. Rexir was able to puncture the beast and it roared in agony putting it in a state of frenzy and swipes at Rexir multiple times to which he barely dodges it.
"Argh! Dammit!" Corona said as she tries to stand up but to no avail falls down, Stella tried to stand up as well but can't, she can still move her arms so she drew her bow and aims for the lion as arrows went towards the lion hurting it but not helping Rexir as it roared and its frenzy deepening. The beast's attacks becomes even faster causing Rexir to have troubles in dodging. He tried to poke at the lion with his spear while running backwards but it was swatted away with the frenzied attacks of the beast. Even though he's really good at running backwards, he doesn't have eyes behind his head so the unfortunate thing happened... he tripped and lost his balance, to this the beast swiped at him with enough forced to make him fly back to the still struggling girls. When the lion was about to finished them off a bottle of potion was thrown at him completely stopping its attack and dazed a bit. Rexir looked towards where the bottle was thrown to see Grace and Chrome.
"Care to explain?" Chrome asked Rexir but knew he won't answer vocally, "I never thought of the hunters being hunted." Chrome chuckled as he helped Rexir back up to which he mouthed out thank you, "No problem."
