It was the night of the ball. Sky hasn't seen Sophie much the past couple of days.
"Hey Pepper!" he saw his friend breeze by him. "Have you seen Sophie?"
"No, no, no mister. I guess you don't know the rules." Pepper smirked.
"I'm so done with rules."Sky sighed.
"You can't see the girls before the party." Pepper said sympathetically "especially one you loooooove."
"Jeez. I wanna see her. I think she's upset with me." Sky sounded upset.
"Well all the workers are gonna hang out before. It might distract you from your girl." Pepper offered.
"I guess..." he complied, but all he wanted to do was talk to Sophie.
"I'm not mad!" Sophie was annoyed with everyone asking her that.
It all started a few days ago, when she was in fact mad at Sky. But she got over that pretty quickly. She realized she was being unreasonable. She understood why he still wanted to keep their love a secret. If Donna realized and didn't like it, they'd be toast. But she couldn't keep it a secret anymore. She was insanely into him and wanted everyone to know!
"Sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you. I'm just really okay! I'm ready for the ball!" Sophie exclaimed.
"It's okay." Ali said, "Me too."
"So, Sophie, weird question...is Sky gonna be there tonight?" Lindsey asked.
"Uh yeah...but I think he's seeing someone." she didn't look up as she tried to hide her jealousy.
"Yeah, he's definitely dating someone. I heard him talking to Pepper. He's in love." Ali chimed in.
"Well, I hope he's alone tonight cause I wanna dance with him." Lindsey said looking in the mirror.
"But, he's dating someone, Lindsey!" Sophie almost yelled.
Everyone looked at her, confused.
"Wow, Soph, it's only a dance." Lindsey rolled her eyes.
"Yeah. Okay." Sophie looked only to her hands, not wanting to give her true feelings away.
"Sky's here!" All the guys yelled as he entered the cafe area of the villa. It was covered in blue lights. Sky began to wonder how Sophie would dress. He couldn't wait to see her.
"Hey Pepper! Eddie!" Sky looked around at everyone there until his eyes feel on the person he did not want to see.
"Sky! How's it going, mate?" Levi came over to him and gave him a bro hug.
Sky rolled his eyes at his attempt at a british accent.
"Hi." He said coldly.
"Pepper! My man! What can you tell me about my girl Sophie?" Levi basically shouted. "How good is she gonna look tonight, huh? I'll bet you she's mine by the end of the night."
Sky wanted so bad to shout at him. Or punch him in the face. God, he hated him.
"Calm down, Levi. We aren't going to bet on that. She's a person." Pepper rolled his eyes on Levi.
"Whatever right Sky?" Levi raised his hand for a high five.
"I'm good." Sky suddenly smiled. Everything becoming clearer and clearer.
"You guys are lame."
The guys were all standing near the entrance of the dance. Some of the guys seemed nervous waiting for the girl's arrival. Sky stood with a smile, waiting for the love of him life.
Suddenly a gush of people entered. People were everywhere. But once she was there, Sky saw no one else.
Sophie stood before him wearing a crisp white dress, a few strands of her blonde hair in her face. She looked so beautiful. She obviously didn't see him yet.
He turned away, waiting to talk to her till later.
It was about an hour into the ball and Sophie has not seen Sky yet. She was getting worried.
"Oh! I see him, I'm gonna go over and talk to him." Lindsey said.
Sophie suddenly got up and looked to see Sky, handsome as ever. She smiled hoping he would see though Lindsey.
"Sophie Sheridan!" Ugh why "How's my girl?"
"I'm not your girl." she told Levi. "I'll be right back."
Levi then stood in front of her, not letting her leave.
She looked back over and couldn't see Sky. Is he with Lindsey?
Before she knew it, she felt a warm hand take her's.
"Levi! I'm serious! Get away from me." But as she looked up it wasn't Levi's hand.
"I can go if you want me too." Sky whispered in her ear.
"No!" she hugged him.
"What is this?" Get off of her man, she's mine." Levi shouted.
Sky let go of Sophie and looked at Levi.
"She's nobody's." Then she took Sophie's hand and they ran up to the front of the stage.
Sky walked up to the mic.
"Hello, Donna?" He said looking around for her.
"Yes?" Donna yelled back.
"I have something I need to tell you right now." He glanced at Sophie who was grinning ear to ear.
"I love your daughter!" He yelled for everyone to hear!
"WHAT ELSE IS NEW?" Donna yelled back. "Kiss her!"
Sophie and Sky's mouths dropped. They looked into each other's eyes. Sophie smiled as Sky's lips came closer and closer. She closed the gap bringing her lips to his.
Everyone applauded!
"I love you, too" Sophie said out of breath.
