Antigua immediately slashed at the Tercera Espada with abrupt movements.
Halibel immediately drew out her Tiburon and blocked her attacker. Both blades grinded and screeched against one another, sparks flying between the two. Halibel's eyes narrowed as she tried to push her aggressor away, however his strength seemed to have been overcoming her strength with simple ease. Darn, it seems his specialty lies within close range fighting, she thought as blue energy filled the hollowed section of her hunting blade. "Azul Projectile!" she called out as the energy then shoved forward like a Getsuga Tenshou.
Antigua grinned as he then placed a hand on the blue energy that said Espada fired. His body glowed with a pure white aura as the energy slowly disappeared, "I suppose you never received any reports of what I can do, no? I thought some Fraccion in the area probably reported to at least the top three." The blue energy was gone in no time, revealing a white orb of energy on Antigua's index finger tip, "Now then, Tercera Espada… Eat this! Cero Lucimientos!" The ball of energy was released, and it screamed forth.
Halibel's eyes widened slightly at the never-before-seen Cero, and she immediately evaded with a two-step Sonido. "… What was that attack?" she question as she then dashed forward with a Cero of her own.
"That is something an Arrancar like you would never learn, even with an entire 4,000 years of training…," Antigua answered coldly as white energy gathered around his hand.
Halibel, immediately, readied herself for another Cero Lucimientos and vanished within one Sonido. She remerged next to Antigua, preparing to swing her blade.
Antigua swerved immediately with the white energy in his palm, aiming to shove it into Halibel!
Halibel feinted and then disappeared once again, recurring behind Antigua and she then fired a Azul Projectile once again.
Antigua grinned and disappeared within a Sonido that disrupted the air so hard, Halibel's own attack flew right back at her!
Halibel reflexively evaded the attack, but then her eyes widened as Antigua rematerialized in front of her with an evil grin.
"You are one interesting woman, despite you're basically the only woman in the Espada! Oh well, I can let a good guinea pig like you just die!" Antigua chuckled as he then thrust his fist forward, firing a white Bala!
The bullet-like attack impacted against Halibel's abdominal area, and pierced right through her intestines with simple ease. She immediately hit the floor, but however, she at least struggled to try and get up. She finally stood on her own two feet, just to find Antigua above her head with his sword slicing down upon her neck! She dodge rolled and then shoved Antigua away with another Azul Projectile. It seems I can't hold him off with just the way I am… it seems I have no other choice than to do that… she thought as a blue energy began to gather on her palm.
Antigua cocked an eyebrow, "Did you forget what happened the moment you fired something at me? All I will do is just end up taking the damn thing for myself."
"Cero… Cristal (Zero Crystal)!" she called out as the energy then burst forward, hitting the immediate ground. It didn't break through the ground however, all it did was then freeze! It froze into the giant shape of an iceberg, and then Halibel looked at her opponent, who appeared to be laughing his arse off.
"You fired an ice Cero?! What the hell?! Oh god I think I'm going to die of just laughter from this!" Antigua said.
"Laugh while you can…," Halibel said coldly as she then charged a large, light blue energy in her palm. "Gran Rey Cero…," she whispered as the charge of energy then screamed forth, flying towards the newly formed iceberg! The Gran Rey Cero then seemingly disappeared into the iceberg.
Antigua sweat dropped, "Um, you just fired one of the Espada's most POWERFUL attacks… and yet it did nothing to the damn iceberg.. Wow, you're worse than that Novena Espada I just killed, and he didn't even get the damn chance to use a regular Cero…" Suddenly, the iceberg glowed with a threatening blue luminosity. Next, the Gran Rey Cero that was inside the iceberg ended up firing out of the iceberg, appearing to be much more powerful than before!
Antigua reflexively blocked with his sword, but the attack did not stop, it pushed him backwards without relent. Damn, did she just get stronger within the past 2 minutes?! Antigua then shoved his free hand into the attack, feeling the cold energy pouring into his body. "What the?! This energy… it's cold..? Is that even possible for a Cero?!" he speculated out loud. Suddenly, his entire right side froze within solid ice, "Huh?!"
Halibel immediately materialized in front of Antigua, blade raised high, "You have been caught by my Cero Congelado (Frozen Zero)," she said coldly.
"Cero Congelado? You just called out for a Gran Rey Cero, there's no possible way you can just immediately switch to a different Cero!" Antigua said as he struggled to move his body's right half.
"Anything that I choose to fire towards my Cero Cristal is then thrown directly towards the opponent after I finish tracing their Spirit Energy. The iceberg then fires it of course, but it changes into a Cero Congelado that then freezes the target the moment it lands upon them," Halibel said as she then raised her blade threateningly.
"Oh ho, that's what this is? A very interesting ability, I admit that. However…," he then grinned evilly, despite only half his face could grin! "Cero Espada!" he called out as a white light then formed around his right hand. The light then extended forth, taking form of a blade that shattered the ice in it's way. Next, it began to liquefy the ice that was around his arm, and he then forcefully swung his arm, thus escaping his ice prison, "Now then, Tercera Espada!"
Halibel's eyes widened in surprise and she then quickly leaped back. Despite her leaping back, Antigua swung his Cero Espada reflexively, leaving it up to chance to slash the enemy.
Antigua grinned as blood dropped onto his face, watching the said Espada falter back with a large gash on her right waist.
"Ngh, I didn't expect you to be this powerful… tell me… just who, or what are you?" she gasped, trying to catch her breath.
"I am Antigua, an Arrancar whom is very angry thanks to that asinine Aizen. At first, it was just about this building here, but now, I'm very angry that the asinine made the Espada seem so damn weak!" Antigua said with a growl.
"I see…," Halibel responded as a blue charge appeared on her palm. "Then I'll suppose you won't give up without a fight, huh?" she asked as she then fired it at the iceberg.
Antigua took fight stance, "You're tracing my Spiritual Energy, eh?"
"…," the woman coldly did not respond as she then disappeared within a quick Sonido that somehow disrupted the air to make it as cold as the arctic.
Antigua immediately looked around, keeping a careful lookout for where his opponent was located.
Halibel immediately reappeared next to Antigua, and feinted as Antigua then swung his Cero Espada to counter. Halibel vanished, leaving small, icy glitters from where she originally stood.
Antigua's eyes widened as he then felt Halibel's icy existence standing behind him.
Halibel then slashed him in the back with her blade, "Azul Projectile!" The blue energy then screamed forward from the hollowed part of the blade.
Antigua absorbed the energy of the blue projectile and then turned around reflexively, Cero Lucimientos charged in his palm.
Halibel instinctively vanished in another ripping Sonido and appeared several feet away from Antigua, "This doesn't matter anymore… now that we're locked in this room…," she said as she then pointed at the fact that the doors were all covered in ice, thus 'locking' the room!
Antigua cocked an eyebrow, "And? Being locked in a room means nothing. All that means is that there's no escape for you."
Halibel sighed, "You have yet to know what I can really do…" The iceberg then suddenly fired another Cero Congelado at Antigua.
Antigua reflexively fired his Cero Lucimientos to counter the Cero Congelado. The two attacks cancelled each other out, revealing that the glacier was no longer in existence. However, now water took it's place. How the?! he thought.
"Océano Del Muerto (Ocean of the Dead)…," Halibel reappeared on top of the water's surface. Suddenly, the water level began to increase at an alarming rate, filling up half of the room's volume. Halibel immediately vanished in a Sonido and appeared behind Antigua, whose eyes were wide open in surprise.
The next thing Antigua knew, he flew face forwards, falling into the newly formed ocean.
"Normally, Espada that are Cuatro and above are never allowed to release within Las Noches… however, this room is very special, it prevents our Spiritual Energy from destroying this very fortress… and now, you will fall, Antigua…," she said softly as she then pointed her blade at the ocean. "Attack… Tiburon!" she called out as her Zanpakutou as she then glowed yellow. The waters around her began to rock and rage with several tsunami-like waves. Some water flew around her and then completely enveloped her in a heart-shaped surge of water that then closed around her to form a cocoon-like cyclone.
Antigua resurfaced, standing on the water's surface and he looked at his opponent, "Tch, looks like this fight's gonna get interesting…" He grinned as he then took battle stance.
