The Hatter held up the sword weakly as the monster jumped on top of him. A girly scream erupted from the Hatter's lips as the Jabberwocky's teeth ripped into his shoulder.

"Hatter!" Alice shouted. She rushed forward, weaponless, and jumped on top of the Jabberwocky. "Get. Off. Of. Him," she said each word with harsh intensity. The Jabberwocky merely reached his hand to his back and tried to brush her off. Her dress got torn and her face cut, but Alice didn't let go.

She kicked at the monster until her legs hurt. Finally, the Jabberwocky lifted his head from Hatter's shoulder. Taking a quick glance over the large creature, Alice looked at the Mad Hatter. He was bloody and unconscious.

Enraged, Alice jumped off the Jabberwocky to grab the Vorpal Sword out of Hatter's hands. Brushing her hand quickly over his, she turned to the Jabberwocky.

"You shouldn't have hurt my friend," she shouted at him. The monster sneered at her.

"G-g-go, Alice!" the March Hare sputtered from behind her.

"Kill it," the Tweedles shouted. The White Queen clasped her hands in front of her, saying a silent prayer to anyone that would listen. She herded the Underlanders behind her, and they began to watch the battle that ensued.

"One! Hatter followed me to my world after the Frabjous Day!" Alice shouted, repeating her old thoughts for courage.

She thrust the sword at the monster, only to pull it back to block a swipe of the Jabberwocky's massive claws. She ran around in a circle to try and spear it from behind.

"Two, my other friends from Underland are alive and in my world right this moment," Alice cried out, hitting the beast in the foot. The Jabberwocky paused for a moment to howl out in pain before pursuing Alice again.

He turned his giant head to peer at her before he started to charge. Alice sprinted through the trees, not knowing where she was going except away.

"No! Stay here!" she heard the Queen shout to the Underlanders behind her. Alice kept running.

"Three!" she gasped out. "I'm alive and in my world after stabbing my stomach in Underland with the Sword!"

She broke through the trees and into a clearing. There was a large pond with a small island in the middle. Taking only one short glance behind her, Alice dove into the water and began to swim to the island.

A roar sounded from behind her, followed by a loud splash. Her arms and legs worked quicker, propelling her faster to the island. Water began to fill her mouth, but Alice didn't stop swimming. Her arms grew heavy, but she couldn't stop now. She could hear the Jabberwocky splashing his way to her.

She reached the land and dragged herself onto it. She used to Vorpal Sword to help her stand up.

"Four, I hold the Sword once again," she murmured quietly. She held it up, ready to confront the Jabberwocky as soon as it reached the land.

The creature jumped onto the land swiftly, landing almost silently on his large feet. Alice was poised to strike.

"Five," she said, giving an evil smile, "I beat the Red Queen once again."

The Jabberwocky's claws dug into the muddy earth, ready to strike back if Alice made her move. With a wild scream, she did. Alice threw herself at the monster, slashing the sword fiercely at any part of the Jabberwocky she could see.

Maybe angry, maybe scared, the Jabberwocky pounded a couple of feet away from Alice and sized her up as if the animal could find a chink in her invisible armor.

Alice took this moment to her advantage. She ran as fast as she could and slid at the precise moment so that she was going directly between the Jabberwocky's legs. The Sword was up vertically, and it cut open the creature. Alice crawled out from under the Jabberwocky before it fell, screeching as it did fall.

She wiped the bloody sword off on the bottom of her now destroyed dress. Sticking the Sword in the ground, she walked up to the Jabberwocky and tapped it with her foot. It's back wasn't rising; it was slain.

"Six," she whispered, looking out from where she came. To where Hatter might be dying. "I can slay the Jabberwocky."

*A/N So this story should be wrapped up quite soon (meaning like 3 months), but I just want to thank anyone who stuck with it this far. I posted this without thinking anyone would read it. And I'm extremely happy that any of you here have enjoyed it. See you soon... maybe.*
