I am sorry for the wait. I really am. Was grounded for a month and as soon as I was let off the hook, I updated. Why was I grounded you may ask? I, being the idiot that I am skipped school… Big no no in my mama's book. She's a strict one. She found out cuz the school called saying I was absent…and I didn't get off of the bus with my lil sis…I didn't plan at all. Lesson of the day is: DON'T SKIP SCHOOL! (Unless you plan ahead with those you're skipping school with ;) ) You don't want to lose your precious laptop, do you? Anywayyyy I'm totally rambling…I don't own Naruto
With Lunch Group
"Wasn't that the mute girl?" Ino questioned as she watched Naruto chase after the pale eyed girl.
"Yup. Supposedly they're cool now." Sasuke answered as he continued to eat his food. The table of friends all looked at him as he ate.
"Wait wait wait...how do you know this?" Sakura asked from beside him. He stopped eating and took a sip of his water bottle.
"I saw him the day before yesterday. I had to get him food because he was broke. Apparently the girl and her sister were at his house-"
"That sly dog! He had two sisters at his house!?" Kiba yelled only to be bonked on his head by Ino and he yelped in pain.
"Hush Kiba! Let him finish!" she growled out not liking where his thoughts were going. The whole table laughed at the sight.
"Sorry babe. Continue." Sasuke glared at the dog boy before continuing.
"As I was saying…The girls were staying at his house for an English project-"
"English project!? I'm in English with Naruto and she said nothing about an English project." Sakura cut in matter of factly and he glared at her a little. She blushed a little in embarrassment before looking away smiling.
"Don't ask me. That's what he told me." Sasuke said putting his hands up in defense. The whole thing just struck him odd.
"That doesn't make any sense." Choji said, voicing his opinion while eating a bag of chips. Naruto wasn't one to keep secrets from his friends.
"So he is having fun with the siblings. Nice." Kiba said grinning widely before being bonked on the head by Ino again. He was starting to get on her nerves.
"Shut up you dog!" she yelled angrily before turning away from him, crossing her arms. Kiba, knowing that his girl was mad at him attempted to hug her only for her to wiggle away from him, and start pouting.
"I'm just joking babe." He said trying to apologize and Sasuke rolled his eyes at their display of affection.
"It's odd. What would that girl be doing at his house, along with her sister?" Sakura voiced out the question on everyone's mind.
"Maybe it's none of our business." Shikamaru finally spoke and everyone turned to him. His head was on the table and his eyes were closed. "It's too troublesome for us to be talking about things that don't concern us." He said then yawned. A few seconds later Choji nodded in agreement, still munching on his chips.
"If he's lying about it, then maybe he doesn't want us to know. When he wants us to know then he'll tell us." Choji said and most of the table sighed and nodded.
"You're right Choji. We'll wait till he tells us." Sakura agreed and continued on eating her lunch.
Naruto's POV
We hugged for a little while longer. It was…nice. She actually was letting me comfort her. It was a big accomplishment in my book. We stood there peacefully till we heard footsteps come our way.
"Naruto! There he is." A few female voices giggled and I immediately cringe. Hinata stiffens and quickly let's go of me. I turn around to see my worst night mare…my fan club. I immediately groan as the approach me.
"I-I'll see you later." She whispers quickly then starts to walk the other direction. Before I could call out to her though I was surrounded by females from different ages.
"Eww. Naruto why were you with that spas?" one of the girls questioned while flipping her hair. I saw Hinata tense while she walked away. I scowled and was about to respond but was cut off by another girl.
"Heyy…Isn't that the mute?" she asked pointing to Hinata's back. "I heard from my friend's friend that she murdered someone." She continued and Hinata stopped for a second. I saw her hands twitch for a moment before she continued walking away.
"Did you see that? She totally heard you Kiara." A different girl whispered and the rest of the girls giggled.
"I bet you it's true." Another girl piped in and I glared at them all as they continued to talk bad about Hinata. I knew that she wouldn't want me to defend her. It would cause suspicion if I all of a sudden become nice to her. I sigh as her figure disappears then return my gaze to the girls in front of me.
"I heard she has a little sister. I bet you she bullies her at home. Poor girl. Right Naruto?" The one named Kiara said sighing as she looked up at me. I glared at her knowing full well that Hinata took better care of her sister than anyone else and she looked scared for a moment.
"You know what? I HATE people who talk bad about others." I said angrily causing the girls to become quiet. I push my way through the crowd of girls and went back to the cafeteria. I opened the doors and walked to where my friends were sitting and sat back down in my spot.
"Sooooooo?" Ino started only to be glared at by Sakura. "What I for one still want to know what that was all about." The blond girl shrugged and I sighed.
"Just trying to turn over a new leaf, ya know?" I say and my friends nod as I continued to eat my lunch. The rest of the cafeteria were questioning, why was Uzumaki being friendly to Hyuga?
Hinata's POV
I can't wait to graduate. I hate these people. These BITCHES that know nothing. I swear I wanted to cut someone when I left the hallway Uzumaki was in. This is why I don't like females. They think they know everything once they get an ounce of information. I sigh as I walk toward the girls' bathroom.
"I will get out of this place." I mumble to myself as I walk toward the mirror. I stare at myself and see a girl in baggy clothes, a bruised face and long blue hair...long blue hair.
Flashback
"You can't even catch me you loser." A little bay of the age of eight yelled back to a little girl two years younger than him. The girl pouted and pushed herself passed her limits and tackled the little boy to the ground.
"What was that Neji?!" she questioned loudly in his ear as they wrestled to see who would win.
"I called you a loser, loser!" he yelled pulling what little hair on her head she had and pinned her to the ground with a victorious smirk.
"At least I'm not a dude with female hair!" She yelled in his face and he looked down at her angrily.
"At least I don't…at least I don't have a blueberry head, blueberry head!" he yelled back in triumph only for his face to contort in guilt as the girl started to cry. He immediately got up and started to apologize.
"Awe. What happened now, Hinata?" a woman with long blue hair asked her six year old daughter.
"It's my fault aunty. I called her some mean names." Neji said bowing his head in guilt.
"It's okay. No more name calling, okay?" she said in a stern voice and he only nodded. "Good. Now I believe your father wants you." She said with a small smile and he nodded. Before he left though he brought Hinata in a big hug and whispered an apology before leaving them alone.
"So what did your cousin call you?" her mother asked her as she began to calm down. Hinata pouted and whispered the name in her ears and her mother could only laugh.
"D-don't laugh at me Mama." She continued to pout and her mother smiled.
"If you're a blueberry head, doesn't that make me one too?" she asks and Hinata gasps.
"No! Mama's hair is pretty and long and,,, and,,,pretty!" she yelled not finding a better word in her six year old vocabulary.
"Well you have Mama's hair too. So your hair is pretty too." She said with a smile and Hinata pouted again while touching her hair.
"It's not long like Mama's hair though." She said sadly and her mother only smiled.
"One day when you grow up you'll have pretty and long and pretty hair too." She said teasing her daughter a little bit. Hinata only smiled and nodded. Her mother hugged her tightly.
"Hitomi. Hanabi's crying again." Hiashi's voice rang out from the house.
"Will Hanabi have pretty and long and pretty hair too?" Hinata asked and Hitomi only smiled and nodded.
"You bet."
Flashback end
Great now I'm crying again. My reflection now has tears spilling out of my eyes and down toward my bruised face.
"I bet you she's in here." I hear a female's voice from outside of the bathroom and I immediately wipe the tears from my face, care for my bruise, and shadow my face with my hair before going toward the door. As soon as I reach for the door it opens to reveal some of Uzumaki's fan girls. Greaaaaaat.
"There she is. I saw Naruto hugging her earlier." One girl yelled angrily while pointing her finger at me. I continue to look down.
"What do you have to say for yourself, loser?" she asks me and I, of course, am not going to respond.
"Well?!" another girl yells at me and I ignore them while I push through to exit the bathroom. They pull me back slamming me against the nearest wall and make me look at them.
"Eww what happened to your face?" a different girl questioned and I only stood there as emotionless as one can be.
"You're starting to piss me off!" the leader yelled in my face…not that I care. "Why did Naruto hug you, when he glared at me for making fun of you!" she yelled furious and on the inside I enjoyed seeing their faces so red and angry.
"Maybe it's her hair?" another girl said suddenly and my eye widen for a second then back. My hair? Really?
"What do you mean Kimiko?" one of the girls asked an orange haired girl.
"I mean she's the only one with that color. I've seen two people with my hair color and a few other girls with some of your girl's hair color, but I've never exactly seen anyone but her with that hair color." The girl Kimiko said with a shrug and they all looked back at me.
"Maybe you're right. This little bitch IS the only one I've seen with this color. I bet you it's dyed." The girl holding me scoffed.
"We should cut it." Another girl voice her opinion and a chorus of girls agreed. How ironic is that? I think of my mother, after years of forgetting I may add, and her hair then these girls want to chop my hair off. Wow whoever's up there must hate me. I stare as one of the girls return with a pair of scissors in hand. Okay. I believe now is the time to squirm away. My hair is like a token from my mother to me. Bitches be damned! I'm getting away.
"Ohh now you want to struggle. What? You think that now that you got a hug from Naruto you're special now?" the girl holding me taunted and I glared at her as she smirked. "Stay still or else it won't be even." She said and the other girls giggled. Hell no! As I was about to speak out a monotone voice stopped all the girls in their tracks, including me.
"What are you all doing?" all the girls turned to see Aburame Shino. He's a quiet one like me, except he talks when he needs to.
"We were giving her…the new hair style right,,," she forgot my name. Her friend had to whisper it into her ear. "Yes. Right, Hinata?" she asked glaring at me warningly. Before I could even answer, Shino spoke up.
"I do not believe you. Why? Because Hyuga does not speak her mind. If Hyuga had wanted a haircut, she surely would not tell anyone." He said matter of factly. I fought the urge to form a smile as the girls glared at me and let me go.
"I suggest you all get your things. Why? Because the bell rings in about two minutes." He said in his usual monotone voice. "Come Hyuga. I will escort you to your class." He said and I all but rushed to his side. I could still feel the glares on my back.
As we walked to my class I studied the tall boy next to me and couldn't help but let a small smile slip passed me. Everyone talks about how weird he is and I couldn't help but disagree with them.
"Thank you." I say quietly and I knew I shocked him for he stopped walking. I did too for a moment before he regained his composure. He helped me when anyone else would have left me be. He deserved to hear my thanks. After a few moments we stopped at my class's door. I looked back at him and he nodded then I walked in. He stared at me for a while longer before turning around.
"You are welcome." He replied before the bell rang and students started walking around, blocking his figure from my view. I smiled to myself before putting on my mask for the day.
Okayyyyy. That's a wrap. Hoped yall enjoyed this chapter and hang on a little for the next. I believe the next one will blow ur minds. Ohh and I wanted to change the ages a bit.
