Chapter Eleven ~
Mai's P.O.V.
I walked back to S.P.R. opened the door and saw the whole gang there sitting and talking. I avoid their gaze and walk into the kitchen. I turn the kettle on and boil some water. I spaced out and started humming, then I thought of some lyrics I put them together and I made the first 10 words for a song. I'll think of more later. The water boiled and I took 7 cups out for the seven people out there, and poured the tea in them. I walked out the kitchen to put the cups down they all thanked me, as I simply nodded in response. Knocking on Lin's door and then opening it to set his tea down and left before he could say anything.
I stood there standing in front of Naru's door, taking a deep breath I decided to knock. A faint 'come in' was heard so I opened the door set his tea on the desk and was about to leave when I was stopped by a cold voice saying wait. Turning around I said "What is it?" "We are having a guest later in the afternoon so be ready for his arrival" was all he said before dismissing me. We might have another case I thought to myself. "Mai something wrong?" asked Ayako. "It's nothing I'm fine" I said with a smile that reassured her I was fine. I sat down in my desk I worked on some files then finally finished.
By now 1 an a half hours have passed. I got bored the gang was still here but I didn't feel like talking. So I decided to work on my song I was working on earlier. Humming lightly I suddenly without realizing started singing random things that came to me. "Monster how should I feel? Creature lay here looking through the window" was all I could think of for the moment. "Mai did you make that?" asked Takegawa. "Yes" was my simple response. "Wow Mai that was good" said Yasu. "Thanks" I said not really paying attention. Some lyrics popped in my head, so I started writing them. I was coming up with so many I just might make 3 songs. I quickly put all of my ideas on the paper before they went away.
Later I tried putting some words together and make thing's rhyme here and there. Soon enough I was finished with my first song, by then I heard a knock on the door witch I assumed was the guest Naru was talking about. I quickly opened the door and plastered a fake smile on my face and greeted the man in front of me. "Hello sir what can I do for you?" I asked. "I made an appointment earlier with Shibuya-san I am Tsunemeki Shin" was his response. "Yes of course please take a seat would you like some tea while I go get my boss?" I asked kindly. "Yes, thank you" was what he said before sitting down.
I knocked on Lin and Oliver's door to signal that he was here. I stepped in the kitchen and started making the tea. A few minutes passed and I prepared the cups and poured the tea into them. Then stepped out and gave them all their tea. The client was going on about the phanominome that was going around his house. "Once in a while there will be crying and pleads for help, writing on walls that say you're next, I fear that my son will be harmed in all of this, please help us" was what he said with despair in his voice. I looked over to Naru who seemed to be processing what was just told to him.
"We will accept your case we'll be there tomorrow afternoon please prepare 3 rooms for us" was his response. "Yes ok"said the man. He then stood up and I escorted him out the door. Once that happened everything went back to the way it was. I sat down at my desk and started thinking. My life has changed so much, I mean two years ago I was always hiding my feelings and never talked to anyone and I was always alone. Then I meet Kai and we had a great year together, but then I was alone again, next Oliver comes back what saying he loves me along with the S.P.R. gang, even Gene is still here. I might have another side of me that I never knew existed.
This is just too much to handle, but I won't let it get the best of me I'll be strong no matter what. I started humming and singing in my head. I think I just made a little more lyrics. I worked on it for a while I didn't feel like making the song to long so I stopped and finished my second song. I was so exhausted I feel asleep.
MAI'S DREAM~
(Third Point of View)
There once was this happy family a handsome father, a beautiful mother, and there adorable daughter. Until one day their family fell apart, the father died in a horrible train accident. The mother would always be depressed but hid it for her child's sake. The little girl with beautiful chocolate brown eye's and brown hair was only 4. Six years passed since then and the little girl turned 10 her mother died she was murdered by a burglar. She wasn't home that night but when she came home to find that it tour her to shreds. She regretted not asking of her father she doesn't remember him so she always planned to ask of him. "And now I'll never know" were her thoughts. 'I'm sure you were amazing though' was what she still thinks till this day.

Mai's P.O.V.
There were a few tears streaming down my face as I woke up. Why would I have that dream after all these years now it comes back? I guess there's no helping it I just need to endure it for now. I looked at the clock and saw it was 5:00 p.m. I should leave now. I got up and knocked on Naru's door I heard come in and did so. "Naru I'll be leaving now I'll be here tomorrow morning" was all I said before leaving. I ran all the way to the club I didn't want to be late and I wanted to help out before I sang. I made it 20 minutes before they opened I greeted Ren. "Mai you want to help me clean the cups?" asked Ren.
"Yeah sure" was my response before grabbing a piece of cloth and cleaning a cup. "Mai you're going to go on stage when the first 2 customers walk in" said Yoshi. "Ok" was my response. "And Yoshi I won't be here for about a week you see my other job has a case but I'll be here the day I get off my other work" I said explain. "That's fine just make sure to be here when you come back" he said. Time passed and the club was full, I wasn't expecting that but I just got on the stage and began my first song as soon as the music started.

I ended the song with eyes on me and clapping I was tired and was about to step of the stage when Ran stopped me. He came up on the stage with me. "Mai let's sing together" was what he said with a huge smile on his face. "But you need to serve customers" I reputed. "Yoshi has it covered let's sing that one son you made last year" he said. "Fine" I said. I don't know why he wanted to but whatever. The music was on and Ren started a couple of minutes later.

Once we finished our duet we stepped off the stage with a crowd of people clapping and whistling and saying complements. I walked over to Ren who was now at the bar side of the club. "You have nice voice" he complemented me. "You're not bad yourself" I said back. "Mai your songs are so good do you make them all?" asked Monk behind me? "Yeah" was my simple response. "You forgot your wallet and phone at the building" said Naru coming up to me and handing my things over.
"Thanks but I'm going to leave now" I said walking away. "Tell Yoshi I'm leaving a bit early" I said to Ren walking out the door. I passed a nearby alley were I was pulled in by some hands. I hit the wall hard and my sight go blurry. I felt two hands on my shoulders. Once my vision cleared I saw a blonde with ash eyes. "You look tasty enough" he said with lust in his voice. "let me go!" I said trying to get out of his grasp. "Why would I want to do that?" he said getting closer. His hand reached under my shirt. "Stop Please!" I yelled. As soon as I said that the whole gang was there. "Stop it!" I said again due to the fact I felt his hands getting closer to my chest.
Right then and there Monk punched him and made him fall on the floor. Naru picked him up his shirt and punched him and said "Leave if you don't value your life" with a glare that could kill. "Mai are you hurt?" asked Ayako worriedly checking me for wounds of any kind. "It's ok I'm fine" I said. "Thanks for the help" I said walking away. "Mai wait you all most got rapped and you're still acting like a zombie?!" yelled Yasu. "You clearly can't walk home alone at night" said Ayako. "Don't worry I'll be fine, but you guys should go home too" I said.
"No Mai I'll walk home with you" said Naru. I sighed and said "Suit yourself". "Have a good night" I said to the others before walking to my house with Naru. I heard some responses back but I just ignored them.
Ok I'll have the other chapter ready by tomorrow I have soo much time now until then BYE BYE
