*Peeks out from behind door* Um… hello guys. I guess it's been a while since I updated, ehehehe *gets bombarded with rotten vegetables*. AH! Stop please! I'm sorry guys, I was going to update over spring break but quite frankly I didn't get to sleep in since my baka siblings were PESTERING ME!

Lenalee: Well aren't you a family guy.

Neko: Too be honest, I like family time much better when I get to stay in my room with chocolate cake, my laptop, my kindle and a dark room. It's quite comfortable!

Lavi: Hermit.

Neko: *whacks Lavi*

Allen: So now you bother Lavi instead of Kanda? That's a relief.

Neko: *smiles evilly* Don't worry, I have something special for you too Allen-chan~

Allen & Lavi: *shiver*

Kanda paced his room in not-so-silent irritation. It had been a little over two weeks since his meeting with Allen in the garden and he was starting to get worried, which scared him slightly. He surveyed his room in annoyance as he noted the overturned furniture and scuffing along the floor from where he had been almost constantly pacing.

There was a gentle knock on his door and Kanda growled low and predatorily. The person at the door scurried away and he sighed, falling back onto the bed. The last few times that Kanda has seen Tyki his little white-haired companion has been missing. Besides that thought, Tyki hasn't been in the court all that often which made the worry only grow in Kanda's gut. Something was up, and he would find out no matter what.

The knocking returned on his door and a headache began to form in Kanda's already sore head. The pain of not finding his mate was almost unbearable; Kanda could only feel sorry for his significant other that must be experiencing the same.

With a heavy sigh, Kanda dragged himself off of the bed and walked over to the door, opening it a crack so that he could peek at whoever was disturbing him. Kanda held back a groan when he saw Princess Lenalee followed my Lady Road. They had been following him like a plague since he resided in his chambers when his season first came.

"Yes your highness? What is it?" Kanda could barely keep out the distaste when he spoke, making Lenalee gasp in surprise. A blush formed on her cheeks as Kanda stood there and stared at her with cold, onyx eyes.

"Well… I was wondering if your highness would like to accompany me and the Lady Road to the garden and then maybe a stroll through the castle grounds since it has been so long since you have visited and it would be a shame if your highness were to get lost," Kanda felt a vein pop in his head as she spoke in an annoyingly sweet voice adding a flutter of her eyelashes whenever she called him "your highness". Kanda wanted to respond with a flat out "no", but the consequence would be King Komui would release another one of his creations.

"I would love to go on a walk, Princess," Kanda said with a deep bow like he was taught. Lenalee blushed again and stuck her hand out before Kanda rose. He scowled without her noticing and took her hand, placing a soft kiss on the Princess' knuckles. Lenalee tried to hold back a blush as Kanda straightened and fixed her with a blank stare. Road cleared her throat and Lenalee looked back at her as the bluenette motioned down the hallway that they had been walking down before stopping at the Prince's chambers.

They walked down the hallway in an uncomfortable silence. Lenalee's thoughts dwelled on the Prince as she peeked at him from time to time. The other two's minds strayed else ware to a certain white-haired boy that they hadn't seen in a while. They stopped at a garden filled with roses of reds, blues, pinks, whites, you name it. The fragrance of the flowers was overwhelming and the odor filled Kanda's nostrils, making him choke.

"How about we sit in the terrace?" Lenalee suggested in a quaking voice as she glanced at Kanda and fidgeted with her skirts. Kanda nodded and followed the girls to a seat at the terrace that had roses crawling up the railings and blooming brightly above their heads.

As they sat there, Road and Lenalee began to talk; Kanda tuned them out and looked out at the flowers with little interest. They consisted of brightly colored flowers, not a pure red rose in sight, most likely to suit the Princess' demeanor. He was about to lean back and close his eyes when he noticed two flowers in the corner of the terrace hidden from sight by the railings. One was midnight black and the other a snow white. Their vines intertwined together so tightly that they seemed inseparable to Kanda's eyes. He smiled a small smile and leaned back into his chair as he drifted into unconsciousness due to the strain from having to bear constant pain.

Tyki dismissed the guards before he entered his room, making sure they were truly gone before he stepped in. A smile that would scare away a child appeared on his face as he looked down at his demon. Allen's arms and legs were bound together in golden chains that made him look frail. He was held up by the chains on his hands against the back wall, high enough so that his feet dangled above the ground. A red, satin cloth acted as a gag, tied tightly around Allen's head and stuffed into his mouth so that he couldn't make a sound even if he tried. Oh but that wasn't the best part by far. Tyki had Allen dressed in a cloak like robe that barely covered his small form. It stopped at his shoulders and was opened at the sides so part of his hips and stomach were visible. He wore shorts that covered his privates at least but the robe draped over his front and back, only being held up by clips at his shoulders and hips.

Tyki chuckled and Allen slowly peeled his eyes open. Fear shone in them but he didn't show it in any other way since he was to overcome with pain and a sort of magic that made him drowsy and nonresponsive. He glanced up at the cuffs that held him up above his head and sighed internally as he saw the magic symbols inscribed on them so very minutely that you wouldn't notice at first glance.

"So shōnen, why didn't you tell me you were in season? Don't you know that I love you?" Tyki purred as he traced his fingers on Allen's sides. The boy shivered and tried to move away from his Master's touch. Ever since that day with Prince Kanda in the garden he has felt… different somehow. Allen felt so warm and safe when Kanda held him, even if it was only for a moment. He could also tell that the Prince was content while holding him.

Tyki frowned and pulled a hand back, then slapped Allen hard in his cheek making the boys head fall to the side. The pain stung but Allen still showed no sign of pain. His eyes had glazed over and Tyki pulled his other hand back as he slapped Allen's head into the other direction.

"You stupid monster!" another slap followed by a punch in the stomach forcing him forward slightly. Allen's wrists ached as the chains rubbed at his skin. He felt himself falling back into his mind as Tyki continued his beating and string of negative remarks.

In his mind, Allen floated aimlessly around. Whenever he felt overwhelmed his soul would retreat into a separate world created by Allen. It was white, like his hair and held a piano and a white couch and a small table. It resembled one of the rooms him and Mana would stay in the most with his Uncle Neah. The two brothers had taken him in when they found him half dead on the street and raised him.

Allen smiled as he floated over to the piano; his feet barely touched the ground. A white cloak floated around him and when he looked at his reflection his hair was spiked up slightly and a mask lay in the hood of the cloak. He plunked at a few keys and settled in on the stool, remembering the one song Neah taught him before he died.

Allen positioned his hands above the keys and closed his eyes as he brought them down and softly tapped out a melody. He relaxed into the stool as his fingers danced across the keys with a beautiful grace only earned from constant practice. He began to hum as the words returned to him as the melody began to increase in sound. The song filled the tiny room and it bounced off the walls returning back to him.

Allen smiled softly and opened his mouth as he softly began to sing along.

Allen played the last few notes and a sad looked returned to his face as the notes slowly faded into nothingness. He felt something drip onto his lap and he reached a hand up in surprise as he felt tears fall down it freely.

"Huh, stupid," Allen rubbed at the tears as his lip began to quiver and his hands shook. Allen pulled his hands away and looked up at the ceiling. A dark spot appeared and began to grow, the room faded as he floated up and was enveloped by the darkness. Allen's tears floated alongside him as he curled up and pulled the hood and mask over his face, falling deeper into the darkness as his mind shut down.

Allen was startled out of his daze when he felt something warm and comforting creep into his soulscape. He turned and stretched himself out so that he floated towards the warmth. Allen reached a hand out and felt it rest on something solid. He jumped and floated back and the object spun around and grabbed him by the collar of his cloak.

"Who are you?" Allen felt himself relax when he heard the familiar voice of Kanda. The darkness slowly disappeared and they were both standing in a training room littered with destroyed dummies that appeared to be sliced by a sword.

"K-Kanda?" Allen spoke in a soft voice and Kanda's face spoke confusion as he let go of Allen. He stared at the boy for a moment with his eyes narrowed. This was a very puzzling thing you see since only mates or soon-to-be-mates could share a soulscape, because their fates were intertwined.

Kanda heard sniffling and he snapped out of his daze to see Allen rubbing at tears on his face. He felt something seize his heart and Kanda stepped forward, wrapping the snow demon in a tight embrace. Allen pressed his face into Kanda's chest and breathed in the latter's scent. It reminded of Allen of the lotus blossoms that he would see floating on the water in the koi pond.

"Why does this feel so familiar? What do you think Allen?" Kanda chuckled as the boy stiffened and looked up at him, a small blush appearing on his pale cheeks.

"Oh, I'm sorry my Lord. I was just…" Allen trailed off as he tore himself from Kanda's gaze. He felt that he should tell Kanda everything, even the stuff about Mana that he didn't share with anyone. Allen nestled back into Kanda's chest and sniffled as tears began to cloud his vision yet again.

Kanda sensed a change in Allen's mood and slowly began to move down with the demon in his arms until Kanda sat on the ground with Allen curled up in his lap. He reached up and began to stroke Allen's hair as the boy continued to cry.

"Why does he do it Kanda? Why did I have to be born with this curse?" Allen sobbed as he clutched onto Kanda's tunic. Kanda wasn't sure what he was talking about but he felt inclined to comfort him. He wrapped his arms around him in return and pulled Allen closer to him as he listened to his mumbles. Everything seemed to blend together but one thing he heard as clear as a bell.

"Why did Tyki make the contract?" Kanda pushed Allen away from him and stared at the boy with wide eyes. Allen stared back at him with glazed eyes as tears poured out of them and down his cheeks.

"Allen, you made a contract with Tyki? When? How?" Allen looked at him with a confused expression. He tilted his head as if trying to remember.

"Um… I think it was four? Or maybe five years, I'm not really sure it's been so long that I can't remember," he looked down and his shoulders shook slightly. "He said that he would help me find who killed Mana but he lied. He didn't even let me burry Mana," Allen stared up at Kanda as his lip quivered. Kanda stared at him with a blank expression, although on the inside he felt incredibly shocked and horrible. How much had Allen endured? He felt like a spoiled prince as he thought back to all of the things he was given and how he was treated.

"K-Kanda?" Allen leaned closer and pressed his face back into Kanda's chest. "Please don't hate me. Please don't leave me alone, I don't want to be alone anymore," his voice was small and sounded more fragile than glass, which scared Kanda. Will Allen ever be able to come over this fear? One or even two years of abuse was hard to get over but five? Kanda didn't want to even imagine what was done to his precious mate.

"Don't worry Allen," Kanda whispered as he hugged Allen and placed a soft kiss on his brow. "I won't leave you, ever," he slipped his hand into Allen's and squeezed his ungloved hand as the cold seeped into his hand. With his other hand, Kanda lifted Allen's chin and pressed his forehead against his.

"Allen," Allen stared at Kanda with doe eyes as he blushed a scarlet red from the close proximity. Kanda leaned in closer and Allen closed his eyes as he parted his lips. Kanda captured Allen's rose colored lips in a soft kiss and he felt Allen melt into him. They stayed still until air was needed, f them gasping for breath. Kanda watched as Allen's blush deepened and he looked down.

"Thank you, Kanda."
